WOW can you believe it ? I didn’t use cool Caribbean for this card Hee! Hee! ..It seems I am on a CC kick lately and of course loving it , But I need some new color in the mix this month . so Its Green Galore , Gable green and Black .This is a very simple card. I did use the slit punch for the scallops ..If you haven’t tried this yet .. Well what are you waiting for ? Turn your punch upside down so you actually see the punch at work .. Then line up each slit punch with the last punch made having them connect at the corner of the last punch ..Of course white gel pen was used on the frog spots and for the doodles on the base card and scallops I then added Black GG ribbon ..This card is not one of my All time favorites But It is cute I suppose …
I wanted to share a question Marla asked me a few days ago about those Acronyms I posted earlier this week on the 11th Marla asked what does SAHM stand for .. for those of you that wonder about this also It stands for "Stay At Home Mom" . I have also been asked by alot of my blogger friends over the last week If I had a SCS gallery ? Why Yes I do Have a gallery over there ,If you look on the right side under Dawns Web sites you will see the link ..I have been a member of SCS pretty much since I signed up to be a SU! demo in 2003 I stumbled onto SCS at a up line meeting and fell in Love with SCS just like most of you .. I must admit since having my blog now I haven’t uploaded everything on to my gallery over there , But you can see alot of my work from when I 1st started .. Its really funny to see where I was at that time in my stamping journey .I have debated on weather or not to delete alot of the things I have on there But its always nice to look back on things like that and see how far I have come . For instance if you look on page 7 in my SCS gallery you can see my stampin room and how it all began , since those days I have had 2 upgrades to my stampin room with the Lastest upgrade on page 5 in my SCS gallery .. Sure wish my room looked this neat again .. Maybe one day… It may not be as neat as it was BUT I still love it as much as the 1st day we remodeled it ..You can also see alot more photos of my stamping room on my web shots gallery over HERE On page 3 on my web shots gallery you can see the #2 stampin room .. Mind you My stampin room has always been in the same place But as you can see it has come a long way Baby !! All thanks going to my hubby ..( remember he can do just about anything ) .
So did you all watch American Idol last night ? It really saddens me how cruel they can be to most of the contestants .. I really think the bro and sister that got in to the next step Especially the bro I believe could be the next Idol BUT I already think he is a special bro did you all see how he handled the comment after he left with Ryan Seacrest when they were asked who the judges liked better? Well Simon said he thought HE ( the bro ) was alot better singer But the bro didnt say anything about that he didnt want to hurt his sisters feelings ..OH MY this was sooo awesome on his part.. so as far as I am concerned he has already won . With a loving heart towards his Sister What a GUY he is , When he could have gloated about being the best , even though She was great also It was HIM and his reaction after it was over that stole my heart. I really had my heart go out to some of those try outs when the judges were laughing I mean really how rude is that ..I know if I were there and they did that to me I would have felt crushed .. And NO I am NOT jumping on the Rosie Vants.. I just know how hurtful that could be.. and wow Could Simon be alittle more BLUNT Oh My goodness .. But I guess this makes for good entertainment Its just I wish it wasnt for the stake of others being hurt .. But Like everyone else I will be tuned in next week again to see the bozo Simon

Dawn – I just love this card! Frogs are DD favorite lately. I agree with you on america idol, about the borther and sister, his parents should be proud of him how he handled himself and not gloated that the judges thought he was better than his sister. Simon could be a little less cruel.

With America Idol, I personally I don’t watch the show. But I think if people wrote to the componies that have commercials on that show and the network, complaining about the treatment contestestants, maybe it would be toned down. Constructive critism would be helpful, but degradation should not be tolerated.
I’m on my soap box, because some friends were told that their talents, service and experience was no longer needed at a certain auto co. According to my DH, that may have one of the scripts that was used. But still….

I watched American Idol too – and I agree – that bro. and sis. could sing! However – did you happen to notice how IRRITATED the sister was when the brother got all the compliments? She was really angry. I hope she can learn something from that sweetheart of a brother she has! I thought the comments Simon made about the kid with the bigger eyes being a monkey were way too far. It’s one thing to make fun of people that can’t sing but choose to put themselves in the public eye (not that that’s okay either) – but it is entirely another thing to make fun of a physical feature people are born with and can’t do anything about.
Anyway – looking forward to another great season!

i don’t watch american idol. it’s sad that america craves mean and cruel shows lately. constructive criticism is one thing, cruelty another. i really can’t make the show go away on tv, but in my house a simple click of the remote and my statement of disdain is clarified!
