"File in the middle " Card Tutorial

Ok are you  girls  ready for the   Great tutorial  for  the File in the middle card ?  I  am sooo in Love with this cards  design and If my Up  up upline were here I would have to kiss her .. Thanks  so Much for sharing  this awesome  Card  with me Debbie I hope  my  tutorial  does it  justice ..

You will need  your  cutter ,  bone folder ,  1 3/8  sq punch (  or any other  solid  shape punch you  may have ~ circle , scallop  etc... ) sticky  strip ,  decorative scissors ( optional )  2 pieces of  card stock . 1 cut at 5 1/2" X 11"  and one cut at  5 1/2 "X 4" ( I used  green  galore for my  card today  )  and of course   your stamps  with ink .. 

after you  cut  your  1st piece of CS at  5 1/2 " X 11   score  this piece  at 4", 7"  and 10 " then  fold  accordion  style   this is what your  piece should look like  when  scored and folded

Next  apply  sticky  strip  along the  inside of your  card on the  1" side of your card  and  then   cut your 2nd piece of CS  at 4 X 5 1/2  and  this is what you  should  have  this is what you  should have  so far. OK next apply  the  4x 51/2 piece on top of the  sticky  strip  so the  1"   with sticky  strip is on the back side of  your  card  as shown here  in the next photo  

Ok next  you will be using your punch I am using the  1 3/8  sq punch for my  froggie  card   since it is  really hard to punch through 2 layers of CS at the same time  we will be punching through 1 at a time  the  1st punch  will  be  on  either  side of the  mountain    peak of  center  fold . Then once you have your  1st punch  pinch middle  together and  line up  your punch and  make  2nd punch  on  the other  side  panel  as shown in   the  next 2  following  photos 

 

This is what your card should look like  up to this point  now

Next  you will apply  a line of sticky  strip on the backside of your  center mountain fold  and pinch the center together to close up  as shown in photo.

This is  what your  finished  card should look like   and is all  ready  for you  to decorate

Here is  what my  finished  Froggie card looks like on the  inside . which is what makes this card sooo awesome  cause of what is inside  waiting for  the receiver  of this card to ooo and aaahhhh over ..  super cute HUH?  This tutorial will also be located  on the  left side  of my blog under Dawns Tutorials  for future  reference  along with  the other tutorials I have done .You can click on  each photo  for a larger  view . When  trying to stamp your image to line up in your punched out area just  make a  light pencil line   following the punch  shape on both sides of your  card  when you  have your image stamped  erase the pencil line.. But you all probably  already knew that  HUH?

The file in the middle Card

Here is   the Mothers day card I made for my mom  this past Mothers days ..  This card design is  from my  very own up up upline  Debbie Buchanan ( she is sooo AWESOME!! ) .. She actually  designed  this card for the SU! cruise  she went on this year and  she shared the directions  for her Fabulous  card  with  all her DL ( Lucky me HUH?) .. I emailed her and asked if  it would be ok if I  did a tutorial on her card for my blog and she  said  I could  YAHOO!! (She is sooo awesome .. OH But you already know that from  before HUH? Hee! Hee! )   She didn't  actually  post a name  for her card  when she sent her directions  and  So I  emailed her and asked her what she would like to call  her Fabulous card and she said How about  "The file in the middle "card  cute enough and  it  fits the card  so thats  what we will call it ..The file in the middle  card ... I   will be posting the tutorial on this fabulous card tomorrow   you  wont want to miss it ..  sooo cute .. The  card looks like a  regular card  on the front  but it is what is inside  thats  knocks  your socks off ..  for sure a  Great WOW  card  for  someone special  cause look  at the inside  and how cute it is ..  I love the way the  file in the middle ( thus the name of the card )  moves  and   highlights in the  center window  what ever  image  you  have on either side .. This will make more sense tomorrow ( At least I hope  I do this wonderful card Justice) This  is  sooo much  cuter  IRL ( In Real Life )  so get ready for the tutorial  tomorrow  you will need  2 pieces of Cardstock ( same color ) cutter, bone folder ,  sticky  strip ,  any  solid shape punch ( I used the  1 3/8  circle punch for this card I also used  decortive scissors for the  frame  around the window if you want to do this also get your deco scissors  and scrap piece of  cordinating CS  enough  to punch out 2 punch images( Mine I used the  1 3/8   Dawns Side NOTE: you will use the same punch as you  do for your card  for your  2 frames also )   and then cut   the  punch out with your  deco scissors .. easy peasy Right ?) Ok now that you have the  2 frames  done  for  your  file in the middle card stay tuned for  the   tutorial on the  main card tomorrow, So get your  supplies and   get ready to make this  super  super  cute & fancy card tomorrow...

Guess what??  Yesterday I got my knee to bend at 110 degrees .. Yahoo  and Boy am I feeling it  this morning .. Ouchie !! Have a   wonderful Wednesday and  I will see you  tomorrow  for the tutorial on this Great card .. NO Lost  tonight BOO HOO Major  withdraws...  Oh what shall we  do .. I know ... Lets GO Stamp!!

Tuesday... But feels like Monday ...

Howdy everyone .. Today  is  back to PT again after having  4 days off. Every day  seems  to be getting  better especially with my  walking Praise God!  almost all my  paper  stitches  are off I think I am  down to 3  left  and those are below my knee cap  really scabby  around that area  so it  maybe a little while longer before those fall off .. I am able to petal all the way around on the  bike at PT now  and  Todd has me  doing leg presses  so it sure does  seem like  I am moving  alot  quicker  to each exercise  than the last time around ..   Going back to church on Sunday was  sooo awesome   But it  did seem to drain me   that evening  and leg was a little  puffy  so I may have  over did it   just a tad on Sunday But like I  said every day it is getting better and better...  sleeping is  so much better  now  and  so is waking up  in the morning   YIPPIE!!   for those of you that have been with me  from pretty much the beginning of my  blog  journey  you  know that I was waking up  at least 2 hrs earlier than  Jess  everyday  so I  could get my legs/knees   moving  and  not be in  so much pain so  I could  actually  function to take her to school  every morning .. Now I can  say  I feel so Great when I get up in the morning .. I am sooo excited to get even  better  and  start going to the gym and   get back to my  walking  outside .. will still be  a wee bit longer   But I am sooo excited ..  and to be able to  walk through the airport to pick  up my  Hubby in August  for his  visit home  from Iraq  without any pain  and NO limping   OH what a Day that will be to see him and  him see me .. 72 days  to go .. But hey who's  counting  Wink wink ...

Ok  for  my  card today I used  the  wild about you stamp set along with old olive , more mustard  and really  rust  and  the  cuttlebug  dots & spots  for the background   with of course my  trusty  white gel pen, and  Old olive   SU marker  for the doodles  around the  center image .  I used the coluzzle  for the  really  rust  half  circle  cut out  and I  added Mustard  GG ribbon  just to add a little something extra to  the card ..    BUT brace your self ~ Cause  can you believe NO glitter is on this card .. Yup Hard to believe  HUH? But you know I can always go back and add  glitter at least the the  circles  on the body of the giraffe.

MY Mr Crabby Pants holds the Money /Gift card

Here is  my  Graduation   gift card / Money holder  card  for all you MR crabby Pants lovers ... Notice the Con CRAB ulations   to funny huh?  I think thats what makes this  so funny  after all ..  Inside of  the card holds a  reg  standard  size envelope that was cut down and  adhered  to the inside  so it will be a pocket to hold  really anything  you like ..  My thoughts were to hold Money / or a  gift card  But  photos ,  Jewelry   really anything  little  can fit inside the  envelope ..  It is held shut with the Black GG ribbon   all in all a pretty  simple  way to  wrap alot of  crabby Love  in a card   don't you think ?  I used the  smallest  Karen  Snap stamps ( 1/8  I believe is the size ) for the word CRAB  in my ConCRABulations. I 1st omitted the GRAT in the  word  with my black marker and  then added  the Crab   stamped in black onto pixie pink  and  added it  with a  dimensional  and of course added  glitter ..

card measurements are  4 1/4 " X 10 1/2"   then scored at   4 1/4"  ( slide   the cs down and have the   previous score line  at  4 1/4 " ) and  score again ..  fold into  holder .. Pretty easy peasy  huh? 

Church yesterday was Fabulous .. so  so awesome  to see everyone again .. even went to church last night too. yahoo!!!  We have had  a rainy  weekend  but today is  suppose to be  really nice ..

Dog Day Afternoon ...

I have to share  with you all what Jessie and I seen on the  way   to Ruthie's  house on Friday  night Jessie was babysitting Ruthie's kiddies anyway ..  look  what pulled up next to us  driving  down the road  ... Is this not the cutest thing   such a  cool dog  wearing   shades.. once we  snapped this photo  His  brother was jealous  and wanted to  get in the photo  too  so we just had to take another  picture ..    their mom ( driving ) said  they only wear the  glasses when  they go  driving  or  for posing  how cute HUH?  Ok  so since we are on a  doggie kind of a day I  thought I would share  some  adorable photos  Jessie  ( see photo of her  beautiful face at school  )   anyway she  bought herself  a digital  camera  a  week or so ago and  has been taking photos of our other  favorite  family member "Bowzer "   This one is  one of my  favorites  seems to  look like he is  thinking  so many  things, and then there is this one  that is  sooo stinkin cute and  Have no idea how in the world Jessie  got  the photo snapped with him  blinking  sooo cool HUH?  Must have been the flash  on her camera .. He is sooo cute ..Look at all  those freckles  on his Nose .. and he is  getting  so Gray  around his mouth  he is sooo cute,  and I must say I think he knows he is cute  too ..  and here is one more  of Bowzer  for you   Jessie and I both  think he looks like a little puppy  in this photo But  he really is 8 yrs old .. even though he stills acts like a puppy most of the  time..

  I am planning on  going to  Sunday school and church this morning YIPPIE!!  Gee  it seems like forever  since I have been to my  beloved  church OH how I miss everyone  will be great to   get there this morning .. wish me luck I have  like 50-75 stairs to  go up to get to  my Sunday  school room  But everyday it is getting better .. I actually  am able to go up stairs   as a normal person (  But slow )  I was   going up  stairs One at a time  leading with my  good leg  and  then  stepping up with my   other leg  but now it seems I am able to   go up  as a normal person  you know one  step  with one leg and then  the next  step with the  other ..YAHOO I remember I was sooo scared to do that at Therapy  But Todd  told me I could do it .. and I did  YAHOO!!  anyway I am soooo  very excited about going  to church today  and Hope  sitting for long  time  will be ok ...  Cause I would love to go back tonight  too ..  Keep on praying .. Update on  HUBBY 'S sleeping .. He called last night and he has  gotten  some  great sleep  he said He didnt know what it was  but  He has been sleeping  really good .. I told him I knew what it was    Everyone was  praying  for him   God is sooo Good !!!  Thank you  all for your prayers  ..  Prayers are being answered   in  so many ways .. Praise God .. he did say his tent  last night was 90 degrees  with the  air  conditoner  on  OH my  thats HOT!!  BUT at least he is sleeping the past few days  .Please continue  to pray for him  and all our  troops over there .. Thank you so Much  for everything  Girls ... I have a future tutorial coming  with  a few of the cards I stamped the other night  so Stay  tuned ...

Doing the HAPPY Dance...

I got to  stamp yesterday   YIPPIE!!    It was  such a  happy day in my stampin room  and of course  what  would be the  1st thing I would grab to stamp with ? You Betcha  it was MR CRABBY pants ...  Still  can not sit  for  very long .. well not as long as I really wanted too .. But Hey I got to stamp ..  alittle stampin here and  a little stampin there  makes  one Happy DAWN!!  so do you want to see  what my  1st card  was that I made .. Ok OUCH!!! stop twisting  my arm  girls ..  I received a card  from a dear lady at church ( Non SU!  Thanks  Ms Gail )  that inspired me to make  this  card   sooo cute huh?  measurements for this  simple card are  4" X 11"  and  score  each end at  the mark just before  3"  TA DA!! thats it ..  I wish I would have  spaced the closures  alittle further apart But oh well  cant  complain with it being my  1st   card since  stamping over 2 weeks ago ..  I am very happy with it   anyway ..  here is what it looks like open I just used  whisper white for the base card and  cool  Caribbean  for the closures  with copper  cord and copper  brads  and of course Glitter ..  Boy I  knew I missed stampin But I never knew  really how much till I made this card ..  so I was on a roll and made  a Graduation   gift card/ money holder   with Mr Crabs  also  stay tuned for that  cutie ...

Knee update and More ...

Yesterday was the 1st day  that I felt  really great  as far as my  spirits ..   I really  don't know what it was maybe a slight  bite of depression  I really  don't know  but I do know I hated feeling  so yucky .. But what ever  it was it seemed to lift  yesterday  morning  so much so That I  took Jessie  to school and even picked her up  maybe it is just getting back in the swing of things I don't know  but I hope  and Pray it  continues ...  I  thought I  would share  with you my X ray  of my knee  that I got   at the Dr. Office   Wednesday morning   Both  Xrays  are  of my new knee  one is of my knee bent  and one is of  it  straight   sooo cool  huh?  My new  left knee is different  than my  right knee that I had done  18 months ago .. same procedure But  I got the  latest and greatest knee out right now  its called a female knee  suppose to  curve and fit in place much better for women  and actually we didn't know which one  he was going to  put in until he got in there  to see if it would be better for me ..  and it  fits awesome  so I  got  it ..  Here is what my  right knee  X ray looked like from  Dec 2005  and you can tell there is a big  difference  between them  huh? YUP that's Dr Nicholas my knee doctor ..  and  the best Part is that he is a Christian  man .. anyway  this photo was already in the  scrapbook I mentioned a few days ago that my  Friend Susan  sent me  so I  couldn't  take the photo  off the page  so thats why  you  got the page  too ..   sooo awesome huh?  I  think it looks like something out a  science fiction  book or something .. the leg on the  right is my  leg That I just now got  done .. Ok  so since you seen the inside of my knee  this is what my knee looks like on the outside  as of  Wednesday  evening ..  Yup No bruises  and  the swelling  is coming  down  slowly but  surely .. The  hardest part for me  right now is  to walk  with my upper body  straight   DR . N and Todd ( my  therapist) both said  that  since I have walked   for  so long with a limp  my body wants to keep walking like this .. so  now when I walk I have to literally  think  keep upper  body straight .. Man I feel so Much taller.. NO kidding .. I feel like I am  learning to walk all over again .. funny huh? 

I talked to Hubby last night and  please keep praying for him  he is have a  very hard time sleeping over there  and has  had a  migraine  headache for 5 days now,  probably  due to NO sleep. He is missing us as much as we are missing him ..  It makes me  sooo sad  words cant  express  how   much we miss him ..   I  just can not even imagine how  alone he  feels over there .. He has not made many friends over there  since most of the guys  work during the day that sleep in his tent  and   most are  from other countries  and don't speak  English  to well anyway .. When he is "trying " to sleep  everyone  keeps  running in and out of the tent  and   also shutting off the  air conditioner  especially since it has been 115 degrees there now during the day  and  everything  gets  over  surged  and have to shut  the generators  down  during the day  so this means a  very very hot tent  for  hubby  during the day when he is  " trying" to sleep  so please keep him in your prayers .. all this week I have  been sending out   boxes of cards  so far I have sent him 4 more  boxes  this week . He told me  the other day he was at the PX and  he was behind 2 marines  at the checkout and both were  buying  a card  for their wife and Rich  told  them to go  put the cards back and to  follow him  that he had  something  for them ..  they went back to his tent and he gave them a some of cards  for them and their  friends.. Rich  said the  guys almost started crying  they loved them sooo much and couldn't wait to get back to  give them all out .. WOW  YOU  all made this happen girls .. you all are sooo GREAT!!!

One more thing  I want to share with you all  today .. Our bestest friends  in Maine  you know Karen and James   anyway .. Their  Daughter is graduating this year and  for Prom   her and her date  made their Prom dress and Tux all   out of Duck tape and have entered it into a contest which you can see  Casey's   contest entry HERE entry # 3884   and  you can also see all the other fabulous  outfits HERE Is this cool or what ...  talk about Unique and  going out  with a  Bang  for your senior year .. Love your outfit Casey..  you  did  awesome ..

Mr Crabby Pants shakes rattles & rolls ...

How cute is this  shaker card  HUH?  especially  cause it showcases my Favorite  Mr Crabby Pants ..  wink wink ..  I  had to make one of these Fabulous   CD  envelope  shaker cards  as soon as I seen it ..  Thanks  Gwen  for forwarding it to me and  Thank you  so Much MARIA for the awesome  tutorial  on these  super cute 6x6 cards.. I bought my  CD envelopes  at Staples  mine are from memorex  and  I got a package of 100 for 12.95 .. My friend Gina  said she found them at Sam's  Club for a little more money but you  get alot more   envelopes  .. anyway.. you are gonna want to make  these  cause they are sooo cute and sooo easy peasy .. NO kidding .. My Bestest Friend Diane  gave me  some  sand  along  time ago  and Boy am I glad  I held on to   that cause  what would Mr Crabby Pants be  without sand  right ? .

Yesterdays Dr  visit was Great ..My Dr. said I am doing  so much  better than  I did  with my  other knee  18 months ago .. I got   a photo of  my knee in the X ray  But I will post that tomorrow  along with a updated  photo of what  the outside of my knee looks like .. he said for me to be patient on    the swelling of my knee .It will come down . But  thats  soo hard  ya know  Cause  I want it  down yesterday KWIM?  anyway he wants to see me again in 6 weeks  so thats great .. and  to keep  doing PT for the next  upcoming weeks ...  Thanks  for all your prayers  girls .. 

So  Did you  watch the Finale  of Lost and  American Idol ?  Oh my goodness  sooo awesome .. I just Knew Jordin would win A I .. she was Awesome .. and  on to  LOST!!

I dont think  they will really be rescued  off the island.. Do you ? I think for once in Bens Lousy  life he may have been  telling the truth .. Jessie doesn't think Charlie  dies  for real ...  I  did  cry though  for Charlie .. OMG  Penny  gets through and  she is not on a BOAT!! WHAT?  Thank God  the 3 were not shot .. YIPPIE for Hurley   what a HERO!!!! Just like  Lone  Ranger .. and YUP  Jack  does love Kate ..YAHOO!!!

BUT who died in the future anyway that got Jack all upset  I thought  for sure it was Kate  BUT we know  it wasnt her dont we ...HUMMMM maybe Juliette? Boy didn't Walt  grown up  in Johns vison ?  or was it  for real ? I was  sooo proud  of jack  kickin Bens BOOTY..  Go Jack Go Jack !! what a Guy!!! ok your thoughts on last night  girls .. was it the best  2 hours  or what ? Iloved every minute  of it  and I didn't  want it to end  BOO HOO!

I have  always been a Truck  kind of a gal   I grew  up with trucks  and  even though I  have a car that I drive  now My hubby has a truck  and  you know that old saying once you  drive a truck  you will never want to drive a car again ..  well If it were not  for  gas mileage I think I would be driving a truck  now  But you know  how things  go .. But I am a truck gal at heart .. so How  cute were these   truckin cards I received  from my  friends  Sue  and Kara  Great minds think alike HUH? ..

Howdy everyone   I want to send out  a big thank you  to  3 gals who sent in cards for the troops .I Received  cards from  Mary Mansfield ( from Hong Kong ) , Melissa Ferr and  1 gal I have no clue since she didn't put her name  so I will just call her  the Longaberger lady .. I received  your cards yesterday .. so this  bumps the total  cards for troops up to 4,670 cards YAHOO!!  Can you believe it .. Its sooo  awesome .. Thank you  all so Very much .

  The 2nd one came from my  friend Gina  W  she  hand delivered  this  card to me in the hospital  Love Love those googly  eyes  what a sweet & cute card .. Makes me smile  every time I look at it ..Thank you so Much Gina for using one of my old time favorite sets .

Talk about  hitting the nail on the head with her  card  huh?  a BIG HUGE  Ouch !!  for  some reason her card reminds me of  the  fancy hospital  gown they had me wear  with that lovely slit up the back .. let me just say  ain't no Band aid  gonna hold it  together  enough for me  Wink wink ...   Last card for today comes from my  friend  Diane she used my  favorite color  and Love those  prima flowers ( which I have never  used ..I know go figure huh?)   Love the cuttle bug  girlie  and  Love the  ribbon   and the  brads in the center of  flowers  Such a  beautiful card and  a very sweet note inside  too .  Thank you  so Much Diane.

Today is another  therapy  day, More  tears yesterday again ( OH when will it stop ?)  Poor Todd  .. He did say he was adding a couple new  things to my  routine  so YIPPY I can hardly  wait for that (  and you  all know I  am sooo kidding about that  sligh  remark ). Tomorrow  I get to go see my  Doctor for my  2  week check up  and I am hoping to get  some really  cool photos of  what my knee/s look like in a x-ray .. sooo flippin cool  to see that metal knee in there .. Its almost like it  isn't really my knee/s  KWIM?  I  don't think he will have to drain my knee  since it has come  down a bit ... My  bestest gal ( Susan Copper )  made me a  scrapbook for my knee surgery last time   and I am  sooo  thankful  for her  making me  such a  awesome  book  to  have me recall everything I  went through last time  is pretty much the same thing this  time around ( I  found it last night and  I Love it ) .. and to see  the photos  of  the last time  Makes me  realize this time  is alot better  than  last time .. amazing huh?  I remember last time My knee  split open and I need  2-3  stitches  put in at the doc office  and all  the  seeping the last knee did .. OH it was terrible .. so Far  I have not had this happen Praise God .. and I don't think I want to have  stitches  again anytime soon .. as least  being awake ... Yea right this is coming from someone that was a wake for her whole knee  replacement  surgery this  time around  so whats a couple  stitches you say ..  I Just don't want it  Thank you  very much ... will keep you posted on what my doc says and hopefully have some really  cool photos  to share with you all ...

Today Jessie is going to Cedar Point  with her school she earned  her FREE trip  for selling a tons of goodies  with  a fundrasier this  year .. she is sooo excited .. she had to be at the school  at 6:15 am  and will be home tonight around 10pm  she will have a blast  with all her friends ..

Well It is a another Therapy day for me   so I suppose I  must mosey on  and get  in the shower ( I forgot how  much slower it is  to take a shower with my knee  ) I am waiting for these butterfly  stitches to  fall off  cant wait cause my knee  such is a itching  REALLY BAD!! ( I have heard this Is a sign of healing... God I hope  so ) Hope you all have a  Marvelous Monday  and I will see you tomorrow..

This one came from my  Girl Harriet   She got herself a cuttlebug and  I just love the  touch of the copper  she used with her CB  and yes this is a real piece of Copper  she  snagged  from her Hubby ( Thank you  Nells ... wink wink ..)   Harriet's card is  sooo  clever  cause  when you open it up it  has  even more surprises waiting  for me to  drool over .., and Love that glitter GF .. Thank you  Harriet !

Next card came from  My Favorite girl who Loves  cutting  everything out ( a gal after my own heart ) Carol .. Carol also  got herself  a cuttlebug  and has been busy  using this  awesome machine  and she sent me this beauty   with of course TONS of glitter also ..  Love it Carol Thank you  so Much ..

Ok  one more for today  this one came from  Jenny .. I have been missing Jenny  since she has taken a break from stampin  for a  wee bit  .. I just can t sit  for that long  as of right now .. BUT I will soon .. I promise .. Yesterday's  Therapy was real hard ( yes even tears where shed  )  BUT the good news is that  I can bend my knee at 90 degrees not bad since I left the hospital it was bending at 50 degrees..  And My swollen  knee has went  down by 2 cm still swollen though But at least it is going  down. Its hard to believe it has been over 1 week know .. I thought I would share  some of the cards for the troops  I received from  so many of you ..

Beary Best!!

Here is another card I made using  my  Daughters Beary best  retired set .. Gotta love chocolate chip and Pretty in pink together .. Update on  HUBBY  He received  the 3 boxes of cards I sent him before my  surgery  and  all 3 boxes of cards are  already  handed out ..  Soooo awesome Rich says everyone loves the cards  No photos yet But  I   told hubby to make sure he  takes some for all of us .. I guess right now the  thing over there  is Sand Fleas ..They are becoming a big problem  now  and even getting into  their  beds  except for  my hubby's bed and we are not sure why that is  maybe cause his bed is  so high off the ground . He said it  was 113 degrees  the other day  and nights gets down to around  mid  70's  now mind you  they are just  heading into to  summer so It will be getting alot  hotter  every day ..

I made a mistake this week I thought my  PT was Mon, Wed,  Thursday  BUT it actually  Mon, Tues, Thurs.. so Today is my   actual 2nd  day at  PT  which really  should have been my 3rd ..OH well.. My leg is  still swollen  BUT I go to my  doc  next Wednesday  for my  1  1/2  week check up and  he said if it is still swollen he may drain it  so until then I keep it  up and  iced .. Thanks  for your prayers  girls .. OH my  goodness  did you see LOST!!  NO spoiler  for my UK friends  BUT  LOVE it ..2 hr  season  final next week and  a special  is on tonight  after Grey's Anatomy ( I think its this tonight ) will be glued to the TV  for  all that ...

You all are sooo sweet  and  Your kindness  will never be forgotten  girls .. All In a Row ...

I bet you all are  already getting tired of hearing my  aches and pains .. so  I wanted to start off with this  simple no layer  easy peasy card  I made a  few days before I went in  for surgery .. I  got my All in a Row set from SU!  a few days before surgery and had to make  something with it, along with  my  cuttle  bug  envelope template ( name escapes me right now but  it  has 4  2x2  templates  and the girlie girl was  one of them  )  I just love the "girlie girl"  since I say that so much ..  anywho ..I  cut all  the rows separately  and mounted them  all on the  blocks ( see photo below )   when you  1st see this set you will notice    all you get in the set is 4 long blocks  and 4 stamps  well I  cut  each  of the 4 stamps into 8 individual  stamps  and for each block I have 2  stamps and 2 stickers ..  the way I did mine was the image sticker is on one side and the  stamp is on the other and I lined them all up  so I  could  get 2  images  on one block  This probably is not making any sense at all so Here is the photo   of  what I did  so I can  get more use out of my   set ALL IN A ROW .

Therapy  went  great yesterday NO tears shed like there were on the  1st visit with my  other  knee .. I was able to even lift my  leg up on to the  high top  with out any help .. Gee whiz I impressed  myself when I did that  Hee! Hee!  My leg is still so very swollen and  sitting at the computer  is  like putting  alot of pressure  on  my whole leg  so this is why I am unable to   be at  my computer for  very long   or sit   for that matter  I need to keep it  up and iced  for as much as possible ..  I just want  you all to know I  am  reading all your emails and posts  But  for the  sake of  my leg   not feeling like it is going to pop  I am not able to respond  to each email  or post at this time .. Thank you  for all your prayers and encouragement , cards  posts  You all brighten my day  knowing your  still visiting   even though I am  not very interactive  lately .. Please  don't give up on me.. I love  all of you  and  I soo appreciate all  your  Prayers ..

Therapy starts today !!

Today is my  1st day of Therapy  with my knee  and OH boy  Can you tell I  am sooo excited? ..NOT!! But In order to get my new knee as great as my  right knee I  need to get  busy with the P.T  I thought Today I would share a photo  of my knee I  wouldn't  blame  you if you looked   the other way But I want to  get my after surgery knee on my blog before  the time has passed to do so  and  plus  I want to record how far I have come  with the new knee in  the  following weeks  .. KWIM?  If you want you can click to make larger.. Thats if you want to ..   you will notice my knee is very swollen , and those lovely drain tubes OH my those  were the pits  and OH did they hurt coming out  on  Friday. Why is it that when you  go in for  surgery on one part of your body  you  feel like  everything has been   worked on? I ache everywhere ..  Everyone says it  is because   My body has went through a trauma and  Its normal  for  my body to  feel this way .. Well I must have totally  forgot about this part  from the last knee  replacement I had .. Cause I sure feel yucky !!

  I  have received   more cards for the troops  since my visit in the hospital and  even money to purchase envelopes  I will  makes those  lists out and  post them later .. Thank you all so very much  for everything ..

I'mmmm Baacckkkk!!

Thank you all for your prayers and  cards  even though I am posting today I am not myself , this body that all bruised and hurting  doesn't feel like  it should belong to me .. I will be back much later when I feel like  laughing  and  showing you all those  yucky photos . I am not really chatty today and I just ache all over and seems  every typed word I need  to back space..   tomorrow I start PT and I  sure hope I  feel better tomorrow than I do right now .. Big Thanks goes out   to Jessie  and Ruthie  they each  kept you updated  on  things  with my and my surgery .. Thank you   both . Happy Mother days to all of you  .. So very Thankful I could come home  a day  earlier  from the zoo  ( Hospital) I will sure miss going to  church today. You not  going to believe this BUT my PT  at the  hospital  her name was Erin and she  was a  SU! demo too .. she was  hearing me talk to Diane about the candy dish she  bought me  and  the colors were pink passion and only orange  and Erin said  whats that    are you  girls SU! demos too . small world huh? I am  so very tired and I will sign off for now .. Thank you  for everything  girls  and please keep on praying  for me  That I get to feeling 100%  really  soon  .. Happy Mothers day. Here is the submission I sent in to SU! for  March contest .. still crossing my  fingers  for at least a honorable mention .  everything is made out of cs  even th brushes .. The makeup  goes in to the  little make up  purse I made  above ..

Hi this is Jessie, Dawns daughter I will be on here while she is still in the hospital. Yesterday was her surgery She was awake through the Whole thing cause she took a bite of bread and so the tube of somesort would open up and choke her so she did fine she was up walking yesterday already I took pics so you guys will prolly see them soon.Gina called, Diane came up and gave her some candy :) People from the church like pastor Brad, Linda,JT,John and DeEtta and of course me and my grandma were there All day I was sooooo Tiered.If you have any Questions please feel free top make them in the comment section.

Todays the BIG day .... Yes I am getting a New Knee BUT Mr Crabby Pants Marathon begins today too!!

Let the Marathon begin of MR Crabby Pants .. Of course   he is waiting to show off  until we open this  cute little book  that is  2 chip board  coasters  re covered with  designer paper  ( loves me .. at least I think thats  what  this  pask is called it's way to early for me ) anyway I   wanted to make this  cute coaster book  using the faux  hinges  technique  which will you see  when opened .. I used a macaroni  N cheese  box  for the  faux  hinges  just  cut the  bottom  corners which are  in the shape of a "L"  for you already and  applied   DTP versa Mark  and embossed with copper embossing powder  punched the holes with my  1/16 hand punch and added  brads  to hold the coaster  book together as you can see here in the next photo. Super  easy and fun .. Of course I added a  little bit of my   white gel pen for the doodle dots  to cordinate with the DS paper and TA-DA   MR Crabby pants  in Book  form  Hee! Hee!

Like I have been mentioning  the last few days  Jessie will be posting   over the weekend   with updates , along with updates  in the comment section of each post from  Ruthie and  who ever else has  some exciting news  to share . so Please  check back often all weekend.  Just knowing you all are  out there  still visiting will make my   hospital visit  much better KWIM? If you have any questions  about any of  the projects Jessie will be posting for me  I will get back to you  with answers  ASAP  since Jessie will have no Idea  what I did  for each project .. 

I will prepare you  for  Sundays posting  though , since this will be Mothers day and all I  figure I  want to give you a heads up on the  project  that will be posted on this special day  cause NOT only  will it be Mothers day  BUT this is the  day  I expect to be released from the  hospital .YIPPIE!!  anyway .. The project  that will be posted on Sunday  will be the BIG project I  had mentioned  a  few months ago about something I was  sending into SU! for  the  March contest ..  do you remember  that announcement ?.. Well sad to say  the project for Sunday did not  win BUT I am still holding out for a honorable mention wink wink ...   who knows ? anyway .. My friend  Susan  gave me a magazine  to look at and well I seen a project in there and Thought OH MY I can do this using SU! goodies .. well  as they say the rest is history  I my self Thought it was the cutest thing  since  rubber stamps , Anywho this project will be highlighted On Sunday  for Mothers day  so please check back  to view this  special ensemble  for MOM.

New Tutorial for you today !....YIPPIE!!

Howdy girls ..  Well tomorrow is the  BIG day OH MY  that came way to fast ..  Hopefully the time Rich is away will go even faster . I made this card for my hubby again .. Ya know he is always on my mind  right ?   This is one of those  super cute templates I mentions  awhile back  about ..  I used cool Caribbean   for the base of my card  and whisper white for the  inside slider . Here's  a tutorial for this  template .. remember you can always  make a base card   with no images  and  keep  directions on the back  side  for future reference ..ok back to the tutorial  .. You will need 1 piece of  Cardstock(  mine  is  cool Caribbean )  cut at 4 1/4 X 8 1/2

bone folder ,  cutter and pencil  with

1 piece of  whisper  white cut at 4 x 5 1/4 

score at 2 1/4 on each end of the  cool Caribbean ..    find the center of each end  at 2 3/4 make a Lt. pencil mark  there  when you  find  center .

Once you  find your  center,   Then cut   from 2 1/4 score line to that Lt pencil mark on the end  this will  give you a triangle  flap.. Proceed to  do other side  the same way .

Fold to make card  sleeve and adhere  together in the  center  and  the  apply  your  sq image on top of your  triangle points  making  sure not to  get any adhesive on the  inside of your card since you want the  whisper white piece to be able to slide inside Thats it .

  This is what the card looks like with the slider pulled out ( whisper white )  ..( This photo I wanted you to see the alligator so it is pulled out  some what but you  get the idea .. I also just added the  slit punch and a eyelet  to the one end so the slider doesn't  fall out   from one of the ends ..Plus I thought it looked cute ..

Remember you can click on any of  the smaller photos to view larger  and I hope this helps  you make a  really cute template for your next card ..

Mothers Day gifts ... LONG Post today girls

  I made these  2 journals  for Mothers  days gifts .. 1 for my mom ( Of course )  and the other is going to  My bestest  Gal Linda at church .. we were just saying to each other  this past Sunday we   are always looking for paper  to take our notes   of the sermons Our Pastor  preaches ( He is sooo awesome )  so NO more looking girls  you have your very own   church  Journal  for  all your notes  from  Pastors awesome sermons .. YIPPIE!!   I will actually be giving Linda to her  tomorrow night at church  since she is  going to be  going  to  a seminar  mothers day weekend  for VBS  and I will be in the hospital anyway so  tomorrow is the night I give Linda's  to her .. Now my Moms I will be leaving in our  Sunday school class room tomorrow night  after   service  so when she  walks in  to class Sunday morning for SS she will have  my gift waiting for her .. Ahhhhh  so sweet huh ?  (  blushing )  When I was making these yesterday I was having a hard time deciding  which  word to use Blessed OR loved ..  since both fit them  sooo Great  I  went  with adding both words .. SO there's No choices to make and this makes it easy on me Hee! Hee! .. Last night I  showed Jessie  how to  update my  blog ..  she even  did a  trial  run and  did awesome ..YIPPY!!  she is sooo S-M-A-R-T.. so smart that listen to this  what she is doing in Bible class at school  .. It just blows my mind  how clever my little  girl is PRAISE GOD!!!

Ok  for Bible class  her classmates were  split in to groups and they must   make  a Bible game , seriously  a REAL life  game girls .. NO joke  and  you must be able to play it and everything  in order to get  a grade for Bible ..  ok Jessie and her 3 other teammates  ( Tim , Jordan , Alissa  & Jessie )

Ok here is the  rough draft on the game board itself .But  the  final game board will be made out of wood  and game pieces will be  wafers of some sort with  Bibles in  different colors  for  each person  to have   for their  play pieces for moving around the  board ..  You all  with me so far ..  the name of their game is "WHO WANTS TO BE A BIBLE SCHOLAR" ?  play money will be  1's, 5's, 10's, 20's. and 50's  each domination of money will have the  amount   with  one of the players names on them .. example  1'dollar  will be with  Jordan's name  , 5 dollars  will be Tim's name  and so on ..  in the center of Game board will be BIBLE this is where you want to end up  and try to be  1st to  finish   cause you will receive 100 dollars  for being the  1st to finish  then you must wait for all players to finish  and the one  who has the most money ends up winning .. Ok now for the fun   tid bits of the  game .. there will be  BIBLE PASS cards ( Jessie made these with SU! cardstock  green galore and only orange  by the way )    with things  they must do if they land on  the BIBLE PASS space on game board   and draw a Bible  pass card  and do  what is listed on the  Bible pass card  such as :

Tithe 10 % of all your money ,  Do Volunteer  work at the church  move ahead 2 spaces ,  Skip church go back 5 spaces ,  Get saved  get  $10.00 dollars ,  Help on  the  church bus route  get  $5.00  and so on ...

Also  there are question cards  land on  the spot  for drawing a question card  you must ask the person on your right the question IF they get it  right they get 5.00  if  they answer wrong  they move back  the amount  you rolled on the  dice .. some questions  to  ask are .. How many days was Noah on the  Ark?  ( 40 days and 40 night )  say John 3:16, how many of each animal was taken on the ark ? ( 2) , How many days  was  Creation made in ?  ( 6  on the 7th  God rested )  simple questions ya know   but still super cute ...  on the game board  you will see  BIBLE railroads  this is where  if you land on the spot you pay a certain amount of money to  slide to the ahead space ..

OH yes one more thing .. there is a spot on the  game board  that if you land on 'LOVE offering " you must put a certain amount of money in  the love offering    pot .. If anyone lands on  the   star on the game board wins the love offering  money  in  pot ..

Pretty awesome  and  super  cute game  for 9th graders to  design  themselves  HUH? I am hoping to get more photos of the  game since Jessie and her team will be staying after school today and   painting the game board and  putting the finishing  touches on it  and also  they MUST play the game to see if it  will  actually  play out the way they designed it  before they  turn it in  for  their  Grade  next week..  Its sooo exciting huh?

  I received more cards yesterday  from  Leah Carr  she sent 144  cards with envelopes  Thank you so Much Leah... Her cards  were all categorized  and packaged  up separately .. Its  amazing  to see such organization  in others Sure wish I  was like that ..  Just Beautiful cards Leah Thank you  so Much .. I also want to  let you know I will be sending   the MR Crabby Pants thank you  card out to you all that keep sending  cards for the troops .. I just am going to be laid up for awhile and not sure   when I will get to  all that .. But I will   keep track and as soon as I am  back to normal ( whats that ??  I don't think I have ever been normal  But you all KWIM right ? )  I will get them out to you .. don't think I   have forgot  about  you OK ? our troops are going to love all your cards   you sent in  girls .. your all so awesome   ..

Friend ...

  I  was looking through Jessie's stamp sets she has and found this Beary best set ( retired )   and had to use it ..  Yes  Jessie has her own stash  of stamps  sets  (Like mother like daughter Hee! Hee! ) ..  Actually her stash is   not as huge as mine BUT she  still has a couple sets I don't have .. anyway .. I made this card for my bestest Gal Diane .. I used  chocolate chip and certainly  celery  along with my  cuttlebug  embossing folder "YOU "( at least I think thats the name of it )  and colored in the bears with SU! Markers . all in all a very simple card . I just love the  tiny  details  of these super cute bears .. The BIG question  now is  why  don't I have this set  in my  collection??  .. Maybe because I knew Jessie would let me use hers  HUH?  good thing   she got it  cause I really love it ..

The next few days will be a little crazy thinking  of everything I need  to have at the hospital  for 4 days and   also at home  since I will not be able to go down stairs I must try and remember  everything I some what need  for the main floor of my   house  I come home on Sunday and start therapy  on Monday at 10am OH boy  nothing like jumping right in .. I do know  within a  couple hours of my  spinal wearing off I will be  up and walking  on my new  knee  right after surgery ..  The ultimate  result will get  my  new knee  to bend at 130 degrees like my  right knee  does ..   Please pray for me cause this  will take  alot of PT and  hard work  and I am sure alot of tears  like before ..

Between Now and  Wednesday night I am hoping I will  be able to show Jessie how to post on my blog  to give you  updates  while I will be in the hospital  BUT if she  is unable to Ruthie said she would post updates on  on the most recent   blog posting under the comment  section  so please stay tuned for all that  if your curious ..

So Long fishy friends...

I am sooo sorry I must make a correction today for the operation glitter drop winner .. The winner is Melissa Ferr .. she guessed  4,018.. Soo sorry Toni..  It has been brought to my attention that Melissa did  in deed pick the closest number  of the  cards for troops ..  Congrates goes  to Melissa

For todays  card I had to use The one set I think I used so much  ( thats  before Mr Crabby  pants arrived on the scene  )    you can tell how much a set is loved and used by just flipping over the  set and seeing   the  permanent  black ink stains all over it .. I sure do love  my Fishy friends  set and I  think I always will .. Thats why I will Not  be retiring it  from my personal  collection . I used  Orchid opulence  and tempting turquoise  for the card stock .. I also used  my  cuttlebug " Spots and  Dots " embossing folder  for the back ground  and I had to use   the new ribbon I got from the Michaels  dollar bin .. and of  course my new stamp set  I just recently  got "In my thought " OH and lets not forget the glitter  too. This card will be going to my hubby. 

Wowzie the cards for the troops /Operation Glitter Drop  keep coming in .. Thank  you so   Much Cindy Borcherding , Stephanie Scholz, Amber  Hillman ,  & Elizabeth Kratzer I have received your cards this weekend and everyone of them is sooo awesome ..  I  have  added a running total at the  top of my  blog to keep you all posted  how many cards for the troops we have .. you all  are sooo wonderful.. I will ever forget these last few weeks  for the rest of my life ..  It has been  sooo  awesome ..

Hey I wanted to post this and ask you  all if you ever had  what is in this photo that my hubby sent me   via email  the other night ..  OH my  At  1st I thought Hey whats that all about .. Caramel Milk yummy  YEA RIGHT .. Look closer  Dawn CAMEL milk  and its 100% PURE!!  and  for the record no  this is not what my hubby is drinking over there..   even though I  wouldn't put it pass him  to at least try it .. He is  always the adventurous  one  in our family  for trying new  things .. ME???  NO way.. YUCK!!

Grand total and we have a WINNER!!!

I thought it would be fun to post the photo of all the packages of cards I received . This is what the pile looked like  up to May 1st ..  May 1st in the evening  My Mom,  Jessie and myself  dumped every single card in the middle of my living room floor ..  Have  you ever  noticed how much easier it is to  throw things on the floor  and  what a job it is to pick them up Case in point  Have you ever played 52 pick up .. OH my   It took maybe 45 Min's tops to place all cards on the floor  and  over 5 hours to pick  up and package them all up .  we all 3 were laughing so hard at  what we had  just did ..  The thoughts of seeing my living  room  carpet again was  so far out of reach  it made us all laugh  like crazy.. and of course  My mom and Jessie both  made it perfectly  clear it was all my idea ..Hee! Hee!

I have had a few gals email and  ask to see the boxes all ready to go .. here they are  well at least 1/2 of them are ready to go I am still short  a ton of envelopes..  But in time  they will all be sent  out. I sent out 3 flat rate boxes  yesterday  and  each of them  weighted 7 lbs  each 

  This is a up close photo of those that need envelopes still.. What an awesome sight to see  all these beautiful cards  sitting in my home  I am sooo excited to hear all the stories  about our troops that receive these cards.

Ok  a few more fun facts before we get to the Grand total  of cards  and the winner of the  Operation Glitter Drop blog candy   ..

1. If you laid  each of the  cards out touching  top to bottom of each other it would  stretch the length of 113 Trucks bumper to bumper

2. If  you  wrapped  every one of the cards around a baseball diamond  it would go around it over 5 1/4  times ...Pretty amazing huh?

Thank you all  from the bottom of my heart .. you all are  the  bestest... I will keep you posted on all the stories my hubby passes on to me and hopefully  alot of photos  of those happy faces .

By the way speaking of photos and my hubby  he sent me  a few photos via email  Thursday night   and  here they are ..  One is of him  and the other one is of his bed he made  for himself ..

Good thing he   has  alot of experience  with JESSIE"S BED we made awhile ago HUH?  I am sure the wood  over there was  nothing like home  depot But it looks fabulous and  it sure beats a cot  thats for sure HUH?  and this is what his tent looks like  from the outside .. He shares this tent with 7 other men.  Look they have carrier  for heating and cooling over there ..

and here is a drive by for you.. I can only imagine how loud this  tank is .. This is right outside his tent  door.

  Rich and I have a friend  "Steve "  the computer guy  and  well I emailed him  the other night and  gave him  some facts on  the cards I have recieved for the troops  and asked if he knew of a site that could  find out  fun facts  by  putting in  measurements  and such  and well Steve  didnt know of a site that would do that sooo guess what?? He made one for me .. how cool is that .. ( Thanks so Much Steve  you ROCK!!)   Now I want to share  a  couple fun facts with you right now  about all the cards I have  for the troops  from all of you ..

Johns Dad is the man who killed  Sawyers  Dad OMG No way , and  I guess   John did  know that this would  totally tick Sawyer off and   he would kill him .. So  what is John the lone ranger now ?  and what's this about Jack and Julia  having a secret  together? and Naomi what is her REAL  story? I wonder  if  Penny really did send  her  to find   Desmond ? or if she is  in cahoots with the OTHERS too  and is Bait ?  Cause  why would she say everyone  was found Dead from the plane crash .. and  do you think they really are in Hell? Well I  do think Ben is Like Satan making  John  kill his dad .. Isn't that how Satan works  just kill  people if  they have done wrong by you  HUH? and telling John he is very special but in order to go forward  he needs  to kill his dad ( Helllloooo ). OH and  whats  with  Daniel  coming to   Black rock  ( when John and Sawyer were ) and picking up some  TNT  what is she planning on  doing ?  OH my ..I love LOST!! Sooo many more questions,  I can barely handle the excitement.

Mr Crabby Pants has Left the buliding ....

Mr Crabby Pants has left the building Hee! Hee!  All 58 of very talented  Mr Crabby Pants are on their way to   some very special  stampin angels . They left the building yesterday morning   Thank you all again so Much .

Yesterday I got the  call from  the hospital  and I have to go in tomorrow  for blood work and also a EKG  so  that means  I am getting  close to  going in for my  Knee replacement surgery, actually  1 week from today will be the big day I will be in the hospital for 4 days.. exciting news though will be in 7 days I will have a Brand new knee Praise God .. Is that amazing or what ?

The other night Rich  and Jessie were talking on the phone and he  showed  her a site called Google Earth.com  and  we  got to see the  base that he is at  and actually seen right where he sleeps ,  eats and  where he was talking to us from, Is that  awesome or what ? Not sure all what they( Rich and Jess ) did since  they both  are  move computer savvy than I am,  But  it was sooo  Great  to see  where he is at.  Technology   now a days just blows my mind , How they can put a  metal knee  in  my leg  and  also  see the place my hubby is at  thousands of miles  away  soo very cool huh?

OH my  was LOST awesome last night or what?  For the sake of all my UK blogger friends  I  will  not post  what all happens BUT Its  sooo Great !! OK more BIG news...    A few gals were wondering  how many  sets I had on the retirement list .. OK Brace  yourself .. Its The mother Load  of retirements.. actually  this years  retirement  is the  highest  amount for me  since I started  stampin   over 3 years ago .. I have 131 sets  of the 233 listed on the  retirement list ..OH my gosh ..   How did that happen ?? I will tell you how   Cause I love SU! OH boy I am  losing so many of my  Favorites too .. Ruff Play , Hip Hip Hooray ,  Best of cluck  and the list goes on and on .. BUT  the good news Is that I  will be keeping 27 of the  131  sets  on the list.. SO Can you say empty Shelves ??(  hee!hee!)   I don't think I seen them  this empty  since we  re-modeled  my stampin room back in 2005   .. as sad as it is to loss so many sets .. Just remember SU! is making way for  Brand new goodies  for us  to all drool over on July 1st, and this will be ONE Happy day for all of us  SU! fans...

FRIENDS!!

Today is the last day to have  your cards in my hands to  count for Angie's blog candy give -a -way ... Stay tuned for tomorrow announcements girls  ITS GONNA BE A DOOZIE!.. LOTS of  goodies will be announced tomorrow  I can hardly wait ....  When I was making this  card I was actually thinking of all you wonderful  stampin friends ..  you all are just amazing ..  I used chocolate chip and certainly  celery CS.  The piece  that lays over the middle is actually  a piece of vellum  that I  colored  with my brayer in certainly celery ..   the small sayings  come from 2  stamps I had  recently  found again in my stamp  room ( it is truly  a miracle  what  we find when we  clean HUH? )  one was  about  girlfriends( friends forever )   and one  about  dogs.. ( faithful friend )  just thought the faithful friend  applied here   and NO I am not calling you all dogs either   Hee! Hee!  I also  used the brayer with certainly  celery  on to the Au Chocolat DS  paper also .. and of course added   a few doodles with my white gel pen ..

STAMPIN' UP RETIREMENT LIST 2007 Its HUGE this year and  very sad  in many ways .. So many favorites  saying bye bye ~ 233 sets on the list with 45 wheels .  You have until June 30th  to get any of the retired sets ..

I received   10  wonderful packages of cards yesterday, HOLY MOLY was my mail man busy or what ? ..  I received  these   awesome  packages from

Vicki  Edwards, Jenna Coleman, Jodi Heusor, Aimee Foley, Lori Jane Mittlestadt ,Julie Purdum, Melissa Ferr, Heidi Kingery, Marci Cyphert and Lisa Bauer sent  a 2nd box of cards  also that I received yesterday  YAHOO!  Can you believe it ?  Thank you so Much girls..I am  in shock  with all the cards I have sitting in my living room .. you all are such a Blessing  ...

Today is the day  that I must stop taking my Motrin 800 mg    for the next 10 days  to prepare  for Surgery,  and it may be  hard  since Motrin  seems to help me the most.  Good news  is that today my RA doc is going to give me samples  of Celebrex  to  help  take place of the motrin  for the next couple weeks .. Please be praying for me  and that I will be ok without the Mortin ..  It's a scary thought thats for sure ..
