Are you ready for Christmas ???

NO way!!  That's what I say ....But my friend Laurie  is sooo  ready. Laurie made  a few  of these cards  for Christmas already and I was  one of the lucky ones to get   one of her 1st batch  of  Christmas cards  at our Last Club meeting .. Is this cute or what ??  I just love that set  and I  sure do Love what Laurie  did  with it .. Just soo cute  .. Thank you Laurie !

Sure doesn't feel like  winter here .We are  heading out to the Lake  this afternoon  and staying for the fireworks this evening . All the kids from the youth  group at church are heading out there too..  Wont be the same  without going out on our boat this year & tubing  since Hubby  does  all that every  year .. I am not one for  driving the boat through the  canal  to reach the  main  lake  area  sooo we  will have to settle  for  swimming and hanging out  on the beach . I will    be putting at least 21 ears of corn on the camp fire later today .. Does  that  sound YUMMY or WHAT!!  Way better than  shoveling  snow thats for sure  HUH? I  finally got all my  retired sets  up  and listed  WHEW  seriously  that took me 3 days to do all that .  I  really  cleaned out  the stash of goodies I had  stored away  (  you know those that are stored  so far out of reach that we  even forgot about them .. Yes its that  Crazy !! ) It seemed  once I got  1 batch of photos  done , I  cleaned  out more  YIKES!! There's alot ..   Even a few from  when there was  actually 2  Stampin Up!  catalogs  back in  2004   remember that ?  It was called a Stampin Memories ,anyway tomorrow is the big  day so Stay tuned for the  retired   photo gallery which will be post  at the  top left side of my blog  come Sunday morning   I am so glad to have all that done now .. Boy SU! has come a long  way baby ..   every year  even better than the last .. I am sooo excited about the  2  catalogs this year ..  Talk about coming a long way baby Its sooo funny to see the  projects  from these past catalogs  and how  styles  change   and  how there are sooo many more Techniques now. It's just amazing to think how far SU! has  come in just a few  short  years .. I would probably  totally  freak out  with the year 2000 or older catalogs . That may be  a little  scary  HUH?

Yesterday Jessie and I went and seen  "Evan Almighty " OH my  what a  darling movie .. I can't wait to add this movie to my own personal collection when it Comes out on DVD..  It made me think of  Stamping  cause of the RAK But  of course its  done alittle different .. If you see the movie  you will totally understand . Love  this movie .

Just Buzzin around this Friday..

Yup seems like I have been buzzin around here the last 2 days ..OH boy with the new catalogs  delivered  and   taking photos  of all my  retired sets ( 100's added  for Sundays   photo gallery ) YIKES!! thats a job in a half for  sure .. But at least I will have them there  from now on right ? Thats a relief ...  I have sets  for sale  that  were from  a couple years past  also maybe   some  even older than that , so Please don't  hesitate   to check them all out on Sunday ( 2 Days )    and email me  about anything on the list  if your interested ..  More details on all that on Sunday .. 

SO with all the buzzin around it only seems fit to post a  cute bee  buzzin around  right ? I used the  New Pick A Petal for my  bee  wings  and I  then  used the  saying from  Farm fever  ( which DID NOT retire ~ YIPPEE!!) I omitted the bee  and  just used my  black marker  to  color the  words and then stamped  pretty easy   Tent topper  card ..  I used the 3/4 circle  punch for his head and  the 1 1/4  circle punch  for  the bottom  part of his body .I did add glitter to the wings  of course this was after the photo was taken .. Don't you hate that ( sorry )   .. I Just can't leave well enough alone  Ya know .. I used  Kraft  CS and  yo yo yellow  ( man it seems I have been using that alot  HUH? yo yo yellow that is ..) along with black cs .  I added  two  bows  with  Maize and black GG ribbon  and then  I cant  finish  my card without my  white gel pen  for the  dots and I also hand drew the  flying  lines  behind the  bee  which continues  right on to the main base of the card .. That was  me just flying ( No pun intended ) by the  seat of my  pants  with that little  add on .. I kinda like it

YIPPEE!!! I got my New Catalogs Yesterday ...

    So what else  can a gal say ... end of story?  NO way .. I love so much in the new catalog .. I am busting at the seams to get my  1st order in ..OH my I just can not bear it  any longer .. .. Ok on  to other things   I totally  cased  the project I am  showcasing today  from  Mr Suida .. I just fell in love with her  card  and  actually I have made like 6 of them.  All of them have hit the mail box  already But  this is the one I sent to my hubby ( Of course). The front of the card is torn and  held together with Silver brads.. I  Just had to use the new Groovy Guava  with the black  for my hubby's  card  and  Just  had  to add Dazzling  diamonds to mine too..  I  also  added   dots with my black  marker to the front white  panel  and also to the inside  ( May be hard to see in the photo )  such a  cute and  simple card  I know I will be making  a ton more of these  so I had to make sure I was stocked up on my brads  Hee! Hee! Thank you Mrs Suida  for such  cute cards  and  Thank you Gina for Hand  delivering  all the  wonderful cards  from all  the Children  and their teachers. By the way Here is Mrs. Suida's  Card  that  sparked the  inspiration in the 1st place .. Sooo cute HUH? I told ya soooo..

Howdy Chicken soup fans ..

Yesterday I mailed out Todd's card and I also added  this small  chicken  soup / get well  goodie inside ..  he should be  quite surprised to  get it .. even though yesterday  he did say he was feeling  a little better  since he got  some antibiotic's from the doc . But you know the  chicken  soup packet  will help him alot more right ?  right!

This is what it looks like opened  and inside  holds  the chicken soup  broth packet.. so cute  and   even though this is a new stamp set this  year its going bye bye   on this years retirement list .. I actually had to borrow my moms  set again to make this one for Todd  since I do not own this set personally  Thank goodness for mommas.. I know this looks really familuar  to my  club girls   since we made these this past March .. See It always helps to keep your  project worksheet  girls .. Can you see the  white gel pen  I added to the background  of the  swirls  from the Background basics   stamp set ..  I also  double stamped the  steam above the  bowl of  soup .. I love that steamy  stamp. Its sooo cute.   

This little chicken  broth holder  above  measures 9 3/4 X 3 1/4 score   on both ends  at 3 1/4  then  cut the right side  end  at a  diagonal from inside of  3 1/4 score line to  1/2  way down or so  to outside edge,  then apply a  thin line of  adhesive  to the  bottom  edge and  fold over  to the inside  TA DA  instant   pocket for the  chicken  broth .. Sure hope this make sense girls ..

Happy Mail Day!!!

Nope No new catalogs yet ( Boy I wish )  .. But  something  that comes in a close runner up  for exciting mail is  something  from my  Great friend ANGIE .. She emailed me  last Wednesday and  thought we should send  each other something  we made .. ya know  something fun ,  cute and  something to spark some  stampin fun of our own .. and Look what I got  YIPPEE!!! I so love everything Angie  makes. She is sooo Talented  and  to think she sent this  super  cute  Mini note  card holder  to me along with  the   oh so adorable doggie  stamp  pack and  super cute   mini doggie buttons.. OH I  just LOVE  it all  Angie  Thank you  so Much!!!  You ROCK GF!!

This Past Saturday  at our  club night  My bestest  Gal Gina  brought in  a ton of  cards from her   children's  schools  ( check out that updated  amount for the cards for the troops ) the cards were made by Children and also Teachers .. Thank you  so Much..  Such cute cards. Speaking of cards  Boy I have been  slacking in posting   some of those cards for the troops  you  all have sent in  . So very thankful I did take photos of them  since   a ton are already  gone and  probably on their way back to  the states  to the their loved ones , anywho .. Here  are  a few  of the  cards for the troops  I still have photos of  and  I will try and share  them  with you  on each post  every day  Okey dokey ..

          Yesterday at P.T  Todd wasn't  feeling to good  ( stuffy  nose ) and  I  really guess  he wasn't feeling good cause  even though I  did  the torcher chamber   machine  He was  fairly easy on me  for the rest of my  PT. Guess I need to make him either a  Get well soon  card  OR maybe   a  Thank you card  Hee! Hee!  I will put it  in the mail today  so it will show up   tomorrow  when I don't go  see him ,Thats  kinda nice  huh? getting mail at work  instead of hand delivering it to him today  .. What do you think ?

Great Day with the SS Bunch ...

We  had so much fun  at Burger King  yesterday I swear the kids  could have played for  at least another 3 hours .. OH my  where did my  energy go  that  they have ..  Sad to say there was a total of  9 kids that were suppose to  go with us  yesterday But  only  3  showed up  and well We have postponed this  day out 2 times the past year   and we couldn't  do that again,  so we went ahead with our plans .. The  kids that  didn't end up  going (  most   were out of town  ) will receive 2 beanie babies   Not as fun thats  for sure  but  what can you  do .. These  photos  just  touch on the fun that was had  but all of us .. and NO I didn't  go in the tubes/ slides   thats Jessie's  Fancy  photo taking  of the  Bright blue  tube  photos .. are those awesome or what ?  I so love the effect these photos have  kinda like being under water ..KWIM?   Then there's those cute fishy lips .. How  cute is  Miranda and  Jessie  even  with those funny lips ..  and then the group photo of the  3 beautiful kids what got to go with  all of us  to BK  for memorizing  the New Testament books of the Bible ..  The youngest  is Jacob  which is going into  the  2nd Grade ( in  this photo )  and the oldest kid ( My mom~ 62 ) knows all the  the books  of the New Testament  so It proves one thing girls  You are Never to young or old to learn Right ?  I am so Proud of my kids  and to think this will  stay with them their Whole Life Praise God for that ..

Attack of MR Crabby pants again ...

OH NO Mr Crabs  is back in town .. OK actually he never left .. Not EVER !!! NO matter what .. I  thought  with it being  my most favorite day of the week ( Sunday and all ) I had to  share  Mr Crabs  being he is my Most favorite set  for this whole mini  quarter time ..   Love live MR Crabs But  I  think  he may be hitting the  boiling pot soon .. POOR MR Crabs .. All I can say is   you have until the end of this month to Get Mr Crabs  in your  collection  Before  he turns into Crab legs  Hee! Hee!

I am really   tired this morning, This may explain my  sense  of humor  with Mr Crabs .   I didn't get home from  My Eastsiders club until   almost 11:00pm last night  Had to HURRY and   get the goods in to make sure they were still ok on the  Retired accessory list to purchase ..( OH How I hate that  when  we have a limited time on things  don't you girls ?)  Thank  goodness  only 1 thing was  gone ..( I mean not that  its a GOOD thing, ya know?  But  good That it was ONLY 1 thing )Gee whiz ...I told you I  was tired But I  hope that made sense ( sleepy ) ..   OK I  need to get the blood  flowing and wake up,   Cause some exciting news today ..  Today is the day we are taking my Sunday school Kids  out for Lunch to  a play  area   we are going to this really Great Burger King by us and  the  play area ROCKS for them .. anyway  This will be pretty much a all day affair   we are leaving right after church and will be M.I.A  until 4:30 pm  Hee! Hee! I know this sounds silly But I am sooo excited  about  going .. NOT that I will be  doing the tunnels and slides  BUT hey ya  never know ..  I will take some  photos  and share  later .. the longest part of the day will  be driving there  with  all the excited  kids in one vehicle Can you say  YIPPEE!! Good thing I know alot of  church bus songs to keep them busy ..  My Kids earned this day out  cause they learned the New Testament  books of the Bible ( song  verison ) .. Remember I mention that~ OH my,  back in Feburary .. Well the time has  FINALLY come ..

I used watercolored crayons for the background on my Mr Crabs  Card  .I just scribbled on  scrap piece of glossy CS with  my water colored crayon and then  I  squirted the  crayons on the glossy  lightly  with water  and then used my fingers  to pounce on the  color and  then transfered  the color  from my fingers to the  BG of Mr crabs  easy peasy huh? kinda  reminds me of  polished  stone .. Maybe  Its Faux Polished stone  huh?

Memory Lane goodie ...

  Yahoo its  Saturday .. and guess what ?  While I was cleaning the  other day Ya know  when I  was pretending to be SUPER WOMAN  Hee! Hee!  I came across this cute  little mini card  holder I had  made for my  display table  awhile  ago .. OK maybe 1 or 2 years ago But  who's counting right ? .. anywho . I thought the project I made   years ago was still  blog worthy for  today . So I  am showing  it off  to you  .. Better late than never  right?

Its amazing what you find  stashed  in a box behind a bunch of other goodies  .. Funny thing is I remember making it  But , When I seen it at 1st  I was  like  WOW I made that ?    .. I used the mini mates on the mini cards inside  and the  mini cards are held by a cello  bag  That I adhered  to the inside of holder from back of cello bag .. Cant  tell in the photo Buts thats what I did .. Boy is that wheel is active that I used ? NOPE! .. I think this may give  the date away  now  HUH? I used pretty in pink and mellow moss ( This was PRE Pixie pink and Certainly celery days remember  that ? Hee! Hee! )

Holder measure  11 X 4 1/4 

Score  all measurements  from one end at  4" move down to 5" , Move down to 6"  move down to 9 3/4 " . I then added a  small piece  of 1 1/2" of mellow moss  under the 9 3/4  score line  for flap  over ..   I am sure  we could come up with a much better  closure  for this holder than  what I did  2 years ago.  so thats it ..

Jessie and I went to the gym again yesterday  & Club night last night  was  super fun and I  have  my  2nd club tonight.. Cant  wait  to see all my girls. Jessie has   the youth Car wash  this morning at our church & and today is our weight in Day ..

FUN Friday !!

I thought  I would share a RAk I received  from  Tracy K  she sent  some goodies in for cards in for the troops   and she also sent this little surprise in her package for me .. Soooo cute huh?  Love those  colors girlie   and  That set is sooo awesome ..Here's crossing my  fingers it makes the new catalog .. Thank you  so Much Tracy for your adorable  card.. It reminds me of the tropic's so  cheerful and  bright ..

Continuing with the  FUN Friday I thought I would share some photos  from yesterday with all of you .. I went to PT and  took my camera along of course Todd gave me a hard  time  about ( Joking of course )  and  I asked   him  to help take  some photos of me in  that Torcher  Chamber  thingy that helps  straighten my  knee out ..( Please notice  how sqished  the   seat is that my foot is on .. That thing is  pulling  down on my knee like you  wouldn't believe)   BUT guess  what? Right after  that  6 mins , I went from a  - 12 (   earlier this week ) to -5  yesterday I was sooo happy .. I  cried YUP !! Not  sad  or hurting tears  though But  HAPPY tears  that this machine  thingy  is actually helping so Much ..Praise  God for that .. Then I  also got this photo of Todd  Just thought  you all would like to see him ..  This was taken yesterday  also  I told Todd  to give me a mean face   and thats what I got Hee! Hee! I guess this photo  makes  him look mean  cause he was showing me I still have over 3 Min's  left in the torcher chamber  thingy ..

My friend Gwen sent me  this  really  funny  LINK   yesterday you  really have to watch it ~ ALL ..  Keep your eye and ears open for the   man in the center.. Its sooo funny .. This guy made me  laugh so Hard I swear I also PIMP's   cause if you only knew  Rich's fake laugh he does like this all the time  with me and Jessie around the house .  Only thing is Rich  is  faking  his Laugh & I really  don't think this guy in  the link is faking it ...Thank's Gwen  for sharing this with me .. Made my  laugh ..

I can not believe  how much I  couldn't  do  before with my bad knee. Yesterday  it was really  clear to me that I  really must have been  pretty bad  cause I do not remember doing  so much in one day   here is what  I  got to do since  I got  back home  from P.T   yesterday morning   Jessie and I went to the gym ,came home and  then totally  cleaned   My bedroom , my stampin room ,  Vacumed  all down stairs ,   cleaned stove top ,  cleaned microwave,  cleaned off the top of the frig , stamped the rest of this years catalog ( 4 )  with the LIPS stamp ~in Red ink  of course (  ya know kissing them  bye bye ) , did 2 loads of landry,  Cut Jessie's Hair   OH and packed everything up  for my  stampin  clubs this weekend    BUT  While  packing up   all the goodies for the  clubs  yesterday evening , I was cleaning  my scissors with  goo gone  and  I  sliced my  2nd finger  Ouchie ..  Nothing hospital worthy But  man that finger  bled . Thank goodness  a good old  Band aid    fixed  it .. and Thank goodness  It happened  After all the above  was finished ..

I Love ....

  Here is a card I made for my hubby  the other  day .. I used the palette O' Prints  "Rose red"  color  on top of  whisper white .. I also used  the doodle that  set  with the heart  and the  doodle alphabet . which both sets  are only  available until the end of this month  from the SPRING MINI .. Sure hope they make the new catalog .. which is  only  like what like 10 days  away YIPPIE!! Can you believe  it .. I remember the day I order the catalogs back in May  and how excited I was and never thought that day would get here fast enough and now look ,We are down to almost single digits  in  days .. YUP still looking at that counter every  day a few  times. I sure  cant wait till that counter is in the single digits .. Gee whiz its been  over 90 days since he left for Texas for  processing  back on March 18th  and then  headed for Iraq right after that .. so Hopefully these last 68 days will  go by really QUICK!! I already now the 2 weeks he will be home will  zoom by  Boo Hoo!  Ok anyway back to the card  . I also used the  slit punch for the scallops and  then added a touch of  the pretty in pink  ink with my  dauber  over top the  "Love you" part  and added a few  doodle dots with my black marker the top  of card is  cut  off  at the end about 1 "   Just a cute simple card  thats says EVERYTHING  I wanted to say to  Him. Oh and lets not  forget the  glitter in the tiny  flower on the heart tag.. Thats about it in a nut shell girls  for today .. I do have PT  this morning  and have to get everything  together  for my  2 club nights  this Friday and Saturday . I am very excited to see all my girls  since we took the month of May off for my  Knee surgery so Its been like forever since I seen all of them . I am sooo excited  .

  WOWZIE look what I got in the mail  2 days  ago .. My blogger friend  Dawn Easton  sent me this  super  cute  card  and look its my Favorite color ..YIPPIE!! Thank you  Dawn .. Your to sweet . Hey check out Dawns  Blog  HERE . Dawn is  another one of those awesome stampers and I am  sure you all will love her goodies  over there Like I do ..

PT  is still going on .. My knee  did move up  a couple notches  for being  straight  I went  from -14 to a - 12  now . Thank goodness  that  machine  I call the tourcher chamber is actually  working ..  Something Fabulous  did happen at PT yesterday  after  Todd  was   moving my knee  cap around  and all that pressure stuff  I noticed  I have a  wrinkle in my knee YIPPIE  do you know what that means ? The  swelling is  finally  going  down so I have a wrinkle in my knee  Can  you  believe  I would be so excited about a  wrinkle ..Hee! Hee!  Not  to sure how much longer I have for PT Tomorrow  will be  6 weeks since  my surgery  so   I guess Todd will tell me  when  he cant  do any more  and kick me out ..

So you want to see my knee now ? Well here it is .. Actually  it looks like a monster photo  cause I cropped it  down  But  really  it looks Great IRL  and much smaller  than what it looks like in this photo  too .. Ok do you see the  little  wrinkles ? Maybe not.. but trust me they are  really there  Hee! Hee!  Maybe I should have added some Vitamin E on the  scar and it  would have shown up better .. But  for me taking the photo myself thats the best I can do ..

Howdy all you Stampin animals ( Hee! Hee! ) ...

I really haven't been in the mood to stamp  since this weekend  so I thought I would share something I made last week  from my new goodies .. Zoofari  set and very simple  Really no  list needed  of what I used  right ?  except  maybe tell you  That the light  color in background I used the  soft sky ink .

Sunday night Jessie had a friend  stay the night  and I didn't sleep well at all , Not due to her and her friend  But  just  tossing and turning ya know  and well  I was dragging butt all day yesterday . That is until  Monday night TV  comes on .. I am sooo into the Style Network channel  with the  show The biggest loser  reruns  & TLC  channel  with   BIG MEDICINE on at 9:00pm  est.. Have any of  you watched this show ..  OH and then  there's " Little people  Big world "  Love that show ..  Maybe its due to my  withdraw of  LOST and all But nothing seems  to be good on  for the summer..   Jessie and I do catch that  show " You think you can dance"   every once in awhile .. But  I am finding it really hard to  watch reg  TV lately ..   I did talk to Rich last night and he  passed on  some GREAT news  which will be happening  within a month or  so .. all the KBR guys will now  be getting " Chews"  Whats that you ask ??  Their  very own  room in  what looks like a   trailer  But has NO wheels  on it   each guy  will have their own  door to lock up also . A whole room to their  self YAHOO!  Its about time .. I guess Rich said  each trailer has  4 rooms  to it  and they come  to   the base  unassembled  and they will have to put them together.. so  this should all happen within  the next month or so  .  They are Just waiting on  them to get delivered.  I guess out of all the KRB guys there  only 16 guys wont get the  room  and those are  determined by the  guys  that  just get there  and are new to the base so this means   all the guys  and Rich there are right now will get a room .. I swear I needed  to hear  some great news  from him .. He has been feeling  down and this  for sure lifted his  spirits ,and  of course this helps me  with my  spirits too ..I am sooo excited about the  room for my hubby I swear I let out a yell  on the phone I may have  made him  go deaf ..

Did you all see THIS ? Way to  go  for  the guy  that pulled out all the stops and  He  really Threw Simon  a curve ball .. Its sooo  Awesome ..

All Mixed up Girl ...

I  had to use my  All mixed up  set again this time I  used the   little girl in this set  she is sooo much cuter than what I thought .. Its funny  how a  stamp  looks  so much better  when you actually  stamp  it with ink and paper .. and maybe it was because  I couldn't imagine her  all put together  since this  set  comes  with all  the pieces to  build your own  head, body and  feet.. Hey did you also notice the new Bling brads  from my Brand new  goody stash ? Yup there on there  just really hard to see  the centers  , and well since this photo is of a  gal that is so  cute I thought I would share  more photos of my  beautiful  little girl Jessie ( Don't let her know I called her my little girl to all of you  Hee! Hee! )  .. She took these photos of her  4 days with her  cousins  down by  Adrian /Clayton Mi  last week .    How funny is  Jessie in this photo of her green tongue  actually  this  Green  tongue is  really just a piece of gum  she has  sticking out  like a tongue .. Pretty funny huh ...

Then there's this  cute one with her blowing a  BIG bubble  with  a piece of gum .. and  Notice those HUGE shades  OH  my  only a 14 yr old  could pull those off and still  look cute  as ever..  So did you  all see the  Fancy Counter  I just had to add  Please check it out on the  left hand side of my  blog .. I must say though I will be the one excited to check that every day ..If you know what I mean Wink Wink !!! Hope your Fathers day  was  Super Great .. Our Chili Cook off  this past Saturday was  alot of fun and   guess who took home 1st  prize ??? Yup  The BIG winner  is our very own Pastor  Brad ( shown here with our  Famous taste testers  Steve and his wife Rachael ) YAHOO and 3 cheers for Brad .. He   was so funny  he  said he couldn't believe it  since this was  pretty much the only thing he has ever  cooked .. Hee! Hee! 2nd place went to Andrew  and  3rd place went  to  William .. Way to go guys ..  and a BIG rooty  toot  toot to YOU! Wink Wink!

We had so much fun  especially  when Brad was sharing his story  about  him and Robyn  going on the Price is Right ..Oh my  goodness  sooo funny ! Speaking of   a BIG story  Notice Steve in the above photo on the right .. Well  He has lost a total of 83 lbs  since  this past December .. WOWZIE Huh?  that is  a  HUGE story .. I wish I had  really good photos of him  before But the only ones I have  are from when  we celebrated  New years  Eve  with our Youth  at church  and he was again the taste tester of those  YUCKY   hand made pies  by our teens ..  you can view all those  lovely  photos HERE  ( Steve is on page 2 ) and  catch a glimpse of  what Steve  use to look like just 6  short months  ago .. and just  a  side note  he  exercised  and  cut  down on his food intake Thats It ...NO  surgery  Is that  an Inspiration or what  girls ... Weight in day for me this past Saturday  I lost 2 lbs   Jessie skipped   weight in day since she was   at Jeff and Kathy's House with the kids for 4 days and kinda  went off  so  she wanted to skip...  so until next Saturday  Happy  Losing !!

Happy Fathers Day!!

Since its Fathers day and  Its Sunday ( my Favorite day of the week ) thought I would share this oldie but a goodie Card I made a long time ago  and hope it makes you smile ..  Boy this years Fathers day is really  not like  the past Fathers days since  My Dad Past away  what seems like  such a short time ago But  really has been over 4 years now.. and with Rich  over in Iraq  Seems like  my  most important  guys  are not  here to celebrate  Fathers  day Like  we have  done before ..  Yes  Sad  for so Many reasons .. BUT also rejoicing that I had My Dad  When I did  and  rejoicing that  even though  Rich is  thousands of miles away  I am soo blessed to have him as My husband and   Jessie to have him as her Father  and that we can talk  to him  and email him . Its so awesome   after  almost 19 yrs of marriage   I still  get goofy inside  when he  calls  and  does all those things Only I know about .. Don't you LOVE Being in LOVE with someone you  really LOVE?  seriously .. This makes me sooo Happy  That after  almost 19 years of  Marriage  I  still Love  being in Love with Rich .. Old Fashion you  say .. NO way He is  sooo worth the  wait .. and waiting makes our  LOVE grow .. weird HUH?  No Cause I know 1 day I will shortly be reunited with my hubby again  and 1 day I will see my Dad again In Heaven  Praise God for Fathers !!  Happy Fathers Day  sweetie  and  Happy Fathers Day Dad !!

My little Bag of goodies ...

I thought I would share  with you all what my  Ribbon  snip bag looks like  and yes IT is PURPLE  go figure huh? actually it isn't   anything special  I think we may have got this bag at Claire's I  don't  quite remember .. any who here is my bag and all the  snips of ribbon  pulled out of it ..  Man it really looks  like  a  Ton but  its really not that bad  at all.  You all  should really  start a  ribbon  snip bag  they are  great .. I  really  don't know If I will be able to use all these snips  Cause I add to my bag more than  I take out .. But  It always  comes in handy when I  need  just a small piece  KWIM?

P.T  has been  going ok  and well you all  know  that  Knee  machine to help  my knee  go straight  is still giving me a hard time But  I  am up to 5 mins on it and   This past Thursdays P.T  was   the  1st time It didn't make me cry .. so Thats a good thing .. I will have to have  Jessie take a photo of my knee  and  show you all what it looks like now ..  I'm Making a  note to do that ... It really  looks Fabulous!!  My knee  scar is about 6" long BUT my  right knee has  only a  4" long scar .. Not to sure whats  up with that ..  My guess is  he may have had to  do alot more in there with my  last knee  compared to the other one 18 months ago .. either way I am very happy and who  cares  if its  6" or 4"  right ..  Today is our Fathers  day   Chili  cook off at church   with the  youth   and  I plan on going  even though I am not a "Dad"  I  will  be  standing in  for  Rich while he is gone right ?  at least thats what Jessie says .. I did tell her I could  dress up like a man with a mustache and   hat and all  BUT she  said  MOTHER  and well that means  NO  I guess  Hee! Hee! Have a  Great Fathers  days weekend  everyone ..  Speaking of Fathers Day Rich did send me and Jessie a couple  of photos  of him over there last night via email .. YAHOO!!! so I must add them  on my blog  post to share  with   all my   Family and Friends ..  and He also sent me a photo of their Pre-Op  medical hospital  over there ..

I also want to send a   Big thank you  to  Nelda  and  Lois  for thier  cards for the  troops That I received yesterday ... Yahoo  this bumps  that  total up to  5,153 cards I have recieved ,  actually I spent   alot of time yesterday  pairing up  cards with envelopes  and got another 11 boxes ready to go out to Rich. I  still have  alot more to do But  at least those  11 boxes are ready  to go. Thank you all  once again for making this  a continued  success for Operation  Glitter Drop / Cards for the troops

Warm wishes & Sunny smiles ....

Well I  was able to stamp  again with my  new goodies   and  I made this  flap card  with the new Pick a petal  set that will be in the new catalog  ( In Just  16 days  But who's counting right ? )   When making this card I thought I would make it with my  flower  points  going out  Ya know just to be a tad bit different I guess , and I really think it  turned out kinda cute HUH?  I used 3 of the new IN colors I  received   for my warm wishes  Flap card  Groovy Guava , Purely pomegranate, and Wild Wasabi  ( I had to  add  a little bit of  the  wild wasabi  cause I do Love this color sooo very much )  and then there's the  white GG ribbon  I   used with the  groovy guava  again .. actually these are all the  snips I had  laying around  from previous  things I made  using this  GG ribbon so That  is really why Its all on this card ( Leftovers )  .. Like so many of  my  girls know already  that  I keep all the  snips of ribbon  (  you know  what I am talking about right ?)  cause   I just never know when a snip will be  enough  and well this  card  proves my theory   correct ..This 2nd photo  shows  more on how my  flap card opens. I  also added a clear button  for the  center of my  petal  card   and added  more "left over "GG ribbon to the  button  Hee! Hee!  Seriously I have a  whole bag   Just for my  snips .. You all do to right ?  Thats the  1st place I go before I hit  the  full rolls .. Now  don't be wasting your ribbon  girls ..

WOWZIE Look what I did ...I cased Ann Marie ....

Hi girls : I just wanted to share with you all  what I cased  from my  friend Ann Marie Miruzzi   She sent    her cards  in for our  troops and  well I must say when I was hand  counting them  before  packaging  them up again to send to Rich I seen  Her MR Crabby  pants card ( you all know me and Mr Crabs  )  and  snapped a  photo of it  before it  went on its  way to  My hubby  in Iraq ,  and  I just knew I  had to  case  it one day cause her Mr Crabs  card  is way to cute , and well the time Has  come to share  what I Cased .. For my Card  I  couldn't  TOTALLY  case  everything   even right  down to the stamp set she used  ( Even though I was tempted to  Hee! Hee! )  SOOOOO  I  grabbed my  2nd  favorite  Little  Guy  From the Unfrogettable set  and made  mine .. I am sure you will all agree Ann Marie's   MR Crabby pants  is   much better , But Mr Frog  still turned out cute ..   Thank you Ann Marie for  the inspiration  for  this faux  grid  card 

Here is what I did :

I used my  ruler and  pencil and  hand drawn  lines on  whisper white   every  inch . so  for my  4" X 5" piece of  whisper white  I  marked  in pencil at 1" , 2", 3" and then  flipped  to the 5" side and marked  at 1" , 2", 3" & 4"  Once I had the lines drawn, I  stamped all my images in  black in  all over . Then  I  erased all the lines that  the  images covered  and then  went over the pencil lines with my  black marker  without  going into /over the  stamped images .. I  then used  my  SU! markers   to color in  the images and  a few squares  and then added  doodles .. Thats it ..

Not  sure if this is what she did But thats what I did  to achieve  this  faux  Grid  look .. Thanks again Ann  Marie for  this cute card I am sure it is heading back to  the states as I  write this post  to one lucky  family from their  loved one over in Iraq  ..

In the Spot Light ...

Okey dokey  girls  here is another Brand Spank'n New  Hostess Level 2 set  that will be   in the Brand  new catalog  called IN The Spotlight .. I just love this set ..  and I really love the New "IN colors"  that I used  to pair  up for this  beauty .. I used  Groovy Guava  with Purely  Pomegranate  also used my new  set from the Fall /Winter preview mini  Hugs & Wishes  The only thing  that is  something Old is  the white  gel pen I used for the  doodles .. I also  colored more  white GG ribbon with the Groovy  Guava  re inker .. Gotta love those reinkers girls .. Make  sure you add one  to your  list  when you get your ink pads   cause  you will wish you had .. I just tell'n Ya  ahead of time. 

While  at  PT  yesterday I was reading the  readers Digest  Mag. while I was in the  stretcher  machine  to help get my  knee  to extend .. anyway I came  across this  write up about church signs .. Don't you love them ... anyway I  thought I would share  THIS LINK WITH YOU and  give  you a  chuckle today .. Boy  some of these are really  Great and thought  provoking thats for  sure ..I think I may  write down a few for Bro Dave at our church to   put up on our Church sign . The one I really  thought was  awesome was  "We use Duct Tape to fix  Everything  God uses Nails "..  Or How about this one " Give Satan an Inch , He will be  a ruler "   pretty awesome HUH?

Yesterday Jessie and I went to the gym as planned  right after I got home from the RA doc  ( which that was  funny  cause I  took my  mini scrapbook in and  showed him  all  the  yucky photos I really think he was  diggin it .. I think it may be a doctor thing ) anyway    I  didn't  do much at the gym Jessie  knew what she was going to do and  went to town .. I planted  my butt on the  safest thing 1st which was the bike  and since I do 10  mins on that at PT I thought I would start with 10 mins  on that . Jessie started there with me  at 1st then she was off doing the  weights and the  stair master  ( Yea like I  am up to all that right now.. I wish )   so after my  10 mins on the bike  I headed for the treadmill  and  did that for  what seems like 2 mins  but ended up being 15 mins .. Want to know why the time flew bye?  well My hubby's  trainer  MATT  came over and  stood  right between  me and Jessie  on the sides of the  treadmill and   we were chatting about   my hubby  and  everything ..  I had never met Matt before But he knew  Jessie  from when her and Rich  went to the Y all the time  and  well you really cant miss her  being  6'1 and all , Oh my  what a nice Guy  But  Tough  exterior  bald head,  Big  ring holes in his ears,  Goatee  and  Major tattoos  all over I  would have never  guessed him as  a  Trainer But as a biker  and maybe thats why My hubby and Him hit it off .. So needless to say any  conversation about my hubby  sure made that time on the treadmill  fly bye ..  Well that  was about all the  gym  thing I got to do  yesterday  which was  enough since  I really  did  get a much more intense  workout with Todd  at PT . Up  tears  flowed with Todd  again yesterday I tell ya I  call him the  pain master .. This machine   for stretching my knee  Man  It don't look like much But  when he  has me sit in the chair and hook  this  plastic thingy  around me knee   with Bungee cords  to the  base board I am sitting on with my chair  and then pulls that  top  cord to tighten it up .. I  think it  sends me through the roof  with pain . 3 mins is  all I can take  and thats  really pushin it  ALOT!!! and  then there's the   Huge  rubber band that My  feet go into and  I   walk the hall 2 times  keeping my  legs apart  without that HUGE rubber band   getting any slack ..  let me tell you ..  My hips  will be GONE in no time  and I do not see  where this is  really working my knee  Cause by the time I am  1/2 way through the  1st hall pass I  swear my hips  are  Burning like you  would NOT believe..  So as much as I would have like  to  do alittle more at the gym yesterday  I  am glad I just did  what I did do .. and to think I  have to do it all again  at PT this morning ..

I  got  some  Beautiful blogger RAK's  Yesterday  so today  on the list of things to do is  take some photos  of these beautys and share tomorrow  with you all .. I also  got a  Huge BIG box of   Hundreds of envelopes  and some precious cards from Renee  Artrilli  yesterday also .. Thank you all  for  sending  envelopes  for our  troop cards  Seriouly  Thank you  just doesnt  seem  Like enough of a  word of appreciation  for all  that you  girls have done  for our troops  you all are Just amazing .. and you all  know who you  are  Big hugs and kisses to each of you ..  I also  am planning on  going to staples  and  buying   hundreds more of envelopes  with   the money  that   you  girls  donated  for our  cards for the troops  / Operation  Glitter Drop Thank  you   all so very much  you all  can not  ever  imagine the blessing you all are to our troops .. By the way I  am  still waiting on photo's  from hubby  to share with you all and he promises  photos  will come soon so stay tuned .. Thank you  from the bottom of my heart   for  all of  you being  such  glitter angels

Lucky Duck!!

When I  made my  dino card the other day  I couldn't  pass up making a ducky  card too since those 2 are my most favorite   images out of this set .. This duck is  sooo cute and of course look  what else is a  Big shock  for this  Monday . I used Yo Yo yellow again  for this card .. WOWZIE I am on a roll  don't ya think ?  Hee! Hee!  I also used my  quirky quips  for this card. I also used the cuttlebug  for the  only orange  and also the black  layers ( But the Black you  can hardly see  it in the 1st photo  but it is  done as you can tell in the  #2 photo )   .Love those little bubbles in the  quirky quips .   This set is also retiring this month ..    OK  after I made the  card I just couldnt  set it down then I  went and added the  white  gel pen accents to the  cuttle bug  dots & spots  embossing envelope .. so NOW I think it is finished .. But I'm still  unsure if I  should have left well enough alone .. OH well , I still love the ducky !! ... Ya know As sad as I am  about most of the retiring sets this year  I am even more excited to see whats to come as I know all of you are also ..

Today I  go to my RA doc  for the  1st time  since my knee replacement  wont he be  shocked to see how Great I am doing ..   Then   after  this doc visit   BRACE YOURSELF  Jessie and I are heading to the Gym  after wards I have been looking forward to going   and of course I will NOT over do it   especially  since I have PT at 4:00pm  this afternoon with Todd  and  we all know I get a  workout on my hips there also  Hee! Hee!

I also wanted to mentioned  that  Yesterday  when I had posted about   what Jessie and I are doing  for losing weight .. I forgot to mention we take Sundays  off (  at least thats  what I call it )   We always go out to lunch/ Dinner with all our friends  from church and  this  is  a day we  go off our  diet   But  Yesterday  Jessie and I even  got to stay on  our new way of life  even though we went out  with our  friends.. Cause did you know  that Applebess  has a  little part of their  menu  just for WW'ers YUP I  got the Confetti Chicken YUMM-O and get this   they even list the points for you .. MY confetti Chicken was only 7 points  YIPPIE!!.. so even though  we  did the lunch thingy   we were able to  stick  with WW Double YAHOO!   All I can say is Praise  God for Applebees   wink wink!!

Last night Rich and I chatted  for a bit and he said there was a suicide  bomber that  drove a  dump truck heading for his base the  Troops took out the  driver  then the  drump truck exploded  and left a  20 ft deep  hole   about  200 yards from the  base line .. Rich had to fix the  ceiling  in MWR  buliding from the blast..  Rich says this happens alot over there  The sirens go off But its usually  after the fact since it happens  so  quick  for them to get in the bunkers .. The  US troops are  to shoot anything that comes  near the base  without  any questions asked  No matter what ( Ya know  shoot  1st ask questions later )  .. Praise  God they are doing their Job over there.Please keep praying for all our Men and women over in Iraq  and else where ..

Happy Sunday to ya ...

I don't know about all of you  But I  look forward to my Sundays .. Its like a  shot in the arm  that I need to get my   juices flowing for the rest of the week  .. I so love my Church and my  Church family  No place on Earth  like my Church and  no where else  I want to be on Sunday  All day if I could ..  to  hang out with all my  Christians  friends  and  hear the word of God from Pastor Brad ( He is sooo wonderful But you all ready know  all that HUH?)   and also  see all my  Sunday School kids .. Its just a Great Day .. I  seen a  challenge on my  friend Karen's  yahoo group  posted  by Holly  and   thought I would share what I made  for my  submission  for this  M&T  challenge  Its  the tri fold card ..  funny   how things  no matter  how many times you may  do them  its  soo much  fun  doing the  template again and again  of course  using  one new set Zoofari  made  it even more fun  and of course I knew exactly what I wanted  to  do with my tri-fold and WHO I was going to send it to .. MY HUBBY of course  DUH!!! I guess  you all should know that  by the  card itself  that I wouldn't  give this to my mom  now right ? Hee! Hee!  That would be sooo WEIRD!!  I used the cheesecloth for the main background on  the front  and I also used  my  Karen Foster  Snap stamps  for the words, and my  retired SU deco  scissors  for the  cut out frames  .. I must admit I  never  ever  use yoyo yellow  But  with the  super cute monkey  from  zoofari I was willing to branch out  and pair it up with Chocolate chip  and of course my  white  gel pen ( Man I love  this pen ) and I love the way it  turned out .. sooo cute  HUH?   very  simple card .. Just cut cs at 4 X 11  score at 3 1/2 and again at 7  and thats  your base for the tri fold ..

I have had many of my Blogger  buddies ask about the diet  Jessie and I are following . Well we are  doing Weight watchers .. I had  joined  about  2 years ago and  well  It fell to the  way side.  so Jessie and I  are doing it together now .. I really think having a  buddy  to  do it  with  helps  alot .. and  we are not  going to meetings or anything we are  just following the weight  watchers  point  system  since  I had  everything from before  Why not  right ? We have made our nightly  dinners quite simple  and  eat  the frozen  WW dinners  the points are already  on the box  and  it keeps us legal  since there are  temptations  on  going back for  double portions ..   We also have a  Veggie with our  dinner  and  we also drink alot of water  for  Breakfast we  eat oatmeal  and Lunch we  usually have a   sandwich  or a  6" sub from sub way  Turkey breast with mustard  .. Our sandwich is usually  between 5-8 points.. Hey  why not join us ..   I understand  it may be hard  with your family  and having to cook  since its just me and Jess  But  you can  adapt  WW to your meals to you and your  lifestyle . .. This is just what  works  for  her and I  right now in our life .. May be different  when Hubby  comes home  But we will cross that bridge  when  we get  to it .. YOU CAN DO IT girls !! Lets get lighter   together ..

Something from the retired list ...

  Even  though I do have  new goodies to Post  and show you all ,I  figured I better post the goodies I made a couple days ago while I was waiting for my  New Rubbah to arrive .. This Poor little " ALL MIXED UP "  ( Its on page 99 in the big catalog  if your wondering )  set is heading for retirement   Boo Hoo !  I  loved this set  from the day it showed up in this years   catalog,   thats why Its really  shocked me  and maybe you  that it is going  on retirement  for the  rest of its  short  lived life ..  So for something  fun, I had to make this  super  cute   Dino  card  and Yes it really  does make me smile. He is sooo sweet looking  even  with such big  claws  and sharp teeth  BUT its his sweet smile that  makes me love  this dino so much .. I have always been a BIG  huge  fan of coloring ever since I  was  a child   and  this set  really  fits the  bill for this need to color. Maybe thats why I love this set  so Much. I remember  coloring  for hours with my mom  when I was a wee little one . To this day I still love  getting those kiddie  menus at restaurants  that have pictures to color  and puzzles to do  you can ask anyone of our  buddies  we go out to lunch with every Sunday  after church they know I love  the  coloring pictures ..  The best ones are from Ruby Tuesdays .. Ya buddy  Hee! Hee! even Big  Boy   rocks and yes even Red Lobster .. OK   now  that I made all of you hungry ( SORRY!)   Lets get our mind off  eating and on to losing weight  shall we .. Saturdays are Jessie's  & I  weight in day  so  today is the  day  for our  weekly weight in  and   I lost 2 lbs this morning  total weight loss since surgery  is 20 lbs Jessie   lost 4 lbs  this  week  YAHOO! . She has  been  doing this with me now for 2 weeks with a total  loss of 6 1/2 way to  go little  girlie   wink wink

Yesterday  Jessie & I went to  the viewing of Rhonda  Hart  and  Jessie and I  then went out  to Borders  and  picked around at the Magazines  for a bit ..  We ended up  with one mag  each .. Jessie got puzzles to do (really  awesome Mag  with 1,000's  of  different kinds  of mind teasers / puzzles .. I  of  course got a stampin  Mag  ( which I haven't  even sat down to  look at yet ) Then we  also picked up one  for  Hubby to ~ his Favorite  Motorcycle   Mag ( Not  to sure if he gets them over there)   I think he will love it.

Todays plans  LAUNDRY~  YUCKY !! It sure does  build  up fast HUH?  Its a dirty  Job  but someone has to do it ..  But I may squeeze  some stamping in between  the cycles  of laundry  since my  stampin room is right around the corner of my  laundry  room..  Have a  Super Saturday and  see you tomorrow

Ok girls  this was the  1st card I made  and actually  this  is gonna be one  my club hostess gifts for the month of June ..( Dont  look Carol .. Ok  I know your looking and Its really ok ) These pack of 10 cards.  I sooo love the  new IN colors I am CRAZY  Crazy    for them .. all 4 of the ones I got   are Fabulous!!  For these  cards I used the Wild Wasabi  and the Groovy Guava . I also used the Brand new  2007/2008  Hostess set  " All About Occasions "  Love this set the way it  comes with a stamp set +2 jumbo wheels  OH my  goodness .. so cute!!  anyway I also used my reinker to color  my white GG ribbon to match  my card .. I used  a empty  plastic  stamp box container  and added  15 drops of  Groovy Guava  reinker  with  about 8-10 sprays of water ( use less water  for  stronger color  or more  water for lighter color )   and  added my couple yards  of  White GG ribbon and  gave it alot  of  shake'n  and   Ta-Da instant  color match .. I  so Love  our re inkers  for  so many reasons and  this is  one of my Favorite's . I also used the re inkers  for  coloring in my Candles  with my blender pen , Then punched out  with my tag punches  (small and large )  Highlighted one of the main words  from the  wheel image  with Dazzling diamonds ( Of course ) Hee! Hee!  and then Had to add some to the  candle  fame  ( Duh!!  what's a candle flame without glitter  right ?)  OH I used the jumbo wheel  Rough around the edges  for the  background  on the Wild Wasabi  base  card ..  OK here is  all of what I got from the new Fall & Winter preview  catalog. The only thing I forgot to add in this photo was my package of  Soft Sky Designer paper .. I know how could I forget to had that  Gorgeous paper in this photo.. I really  don't know how ,  But I did ..  anyway  you  get the  jist that NEW rubbah in the house  makes one  a very happy Camper ..

Today I am hoping to  go to a  wonderful person I have never met before  Funeral's viewing  for   Rhonda Hart from  WMUZ the light   Christian Radio  station(  The link is also lisited on the left side of my  blog ) I listen too every day  died  on  Monday night ..  such a  sad loss  she was  soo awesome and  outspoken for our  Lord.  She witnessed   to everyone  she met .. what a Inspriation  she is  to me and everyone who loved  her on WMUZ The Light I just seen last night on the web site  her  2nd viewing and her Funeral  will be only  a couple  miles from me here in Pontiac . Please Pray for  her family  Husband  and 2  childern .  So Sweet of JAN TINK  to email me to let me know  this  Sad news  ( she and I are Faithful listeners  to WMUZ The light )  But  Sad to say I had already heard for my self  Tuesday Morning  when I tuned in  for the Jon & Rhonda Show . She  will be  so very missed .. But  we know she is in Heaven  with our Saviour   now .. Praise God for that !

Fathers day card for Hubby !!

  What a great time to  get in on the  TLC119 challenge on SCS I needed a   cute Fathers day card for Hubby and  I know its next week  But  by the time I send it and he gets it  We may well be  over with Fathers day , So I  made it and  already sent it out  to hubby &  all I have  is this   cute photo  reminder of what I  did in a whirl wind this morning ..  I was so excited to use  so many pieces of my Palette O' Prints for this  baby ..I was a stampin fool  all morning . I Didnt get my new goodes  until right before church last night and of course  didn't Have time to play  let alone   get them mounted  Boo Hoo HUH?   This may be different  story  today .. I will  try  and get them mounted  and hopfully  play later   today . I have P.T this morning and  also  we have plans to go to Jessie's school and  cash in her  books for  a buy  back . High school is way different  than  middle  school  and way more  expensive .. So who knows how long  this will take ..  We may  reschedule  for Friday morning instead  of today since it is smack dab in the middle of the  day today  and Fridays is at least  in the morning ...

I have a bunch of new goodies I stamped from yesterday so this will tie  us over until I  can actually get to dig into the  Brand new goodies from Fall/Winter preview  mini  this week ..

Update on my knee :

Last P.T appointment  Todd  had me  do something  different  Usually he has me  sit  with my legs hanging over the  tall table  and he  bends my knee  backwards having it  go  under the  table .. BUT this time  he had me lay down on the  table on my  tummy and  then he  started to bend my knee  well I think  My foot  touched my  butt .NO kidding .. My knee   bent so Great  Of course all along he is  telling me to relax  and  go with the bend.OUCHIE!! BUT Guess what?? Today is the day I get to stop wearing my  lovely  white ever so fashionable TED stockings  YIPPIE!!  Today has been  4 weeks  since my  surgery and  It  was the best thing I could have done ..  You know what is coming next dont you ? I wish I had  done  it sooner .. ( But seriously  It wasn't time before ) I really  dont think anyone would know  that I had  surgery  4 weeks ago just  from looking at me .. BUT I am  always  willing to  show anyone and everyone my  scar if they want to see .. Now thats  something  to be  proud of Hee! Hee!  actually everyone I ask if they want to see my scar  they  always say yes .. that is unless  your my  cousin Ruthie  . Its really nothing to look at now I must take  a updated photo of my knee  and share ..

My left side of my  knee area is still numb and so  is my  other knee that was done 18 months ago  but on the right side of that one .. and this is normal my  doc says  sometimes it goes away in time( years )  But  sometimes it stays  and  we have to deal with it .. which is fine with me  I rather have numb feeling than that  yucky pain . My knee  is still swollen   I keep telling  them  are you sure cause I have  chubby legs  anyway (   Thanks to my dads side of the family  wink wink )  and they  reassure me  it is still swollen and to be  patient with my extenison . My leg is   way straighter  than it was before  surgery BUT comparing it to my right knee its not  quite as straight .. BE PATIENT DAWN I keep telling myself its only been 4 weeks . I am still doing  my  asprin therphy  and thats doing good, and taking showers are back to normal now . Its werid how  you are affraid of  getting it  wet  with water and soap  But that has passed now  since last week  Praise  God .. I have recieved  so many emails for many of you facing this upcoming  surgery also Mine was  due to  having RA .. But Honestly  I feel as though I have my life Back.  I may have mentioned  this  before  But I  am soo excited to walk through the airport  when we pick up my hubby in August and see his face  when he  sees me walking with out a limp   and  to be able to walk the airport  alone  will be  awesome .. I  knew  I  could have Never done that  before . I would have waited for him at the  pick up  drive through area .. since it would have hurt so Bad to walk that long of a distance .. Now there is nothing holding me back  GLORY!! Grocrey Shopping is  even a treat now. anyway I am just rambling , But  I did want to give  all of you a update  That everything is  going GREAT!! PRAISE GOD!!!

How cute is this mini tissue  holder .. I  just had to make one  once my  great friend Karen Gibson posted hers  to  her group  that I belong too.. I just think this is the cutest thing ..  I think  what makes me  go gaga over it is the " Bless U "on the  wrap  and the tissue popping out .. It just  makes me warm and fuzzy inside Hee! Hee!  I used the All about you  stamp set  along with the  word window punch and  of course the under the weather stamp set. Pixie pink and certainly  celery Cardstock  with also whisper white ..

Well another night with out Lost .. what have you Lost Fans   replaced  for your  TV viewing pleasure  with on Wednesday nights now ???   Curious minds want  to know ..Like ME !! I think I  am suffering  from withdraws  already and gee whiz its only been a few weeks  what in the world is it gonna be like in  a few months ? I  heard maybe  re-runs may  come .. have any of you heard this also ? if so I  will gladly  watch I  don't really care  and who knows I may see  something new that I didn't catch before .. Plus to get all of  this last  past season on TIVO for hubby when he gets home would be great.

Sad News  and NO happy camper   Cause NO new stamps  yesterday I must have  missed the deadline on Friday for  it to be  shipped out  to get here by yesterday  so  It had better show up today OR I will be on the  telephone  with SU!

Happy Camper ...

Yes I am a Happy camper   cause  I got this set for  1 of my sell a bration cash in  this year . I have  wanted this set since the day it appeared  in the catalog .. Its  so  cute . so Yes  this photo is not  a very clear one  BUT it  pretty much  shows  how  cute it is anyway  right ? This card  did not  start out like the  finished product  that you  see  now . Simple as it looks  now  BUT in  beginning stages of this card  NO trees , NO ribbon , No glitter .. The more I played around the more I kept adding  to it  The  bottom  right corner  of course says Happy  Camper  using my  Karen Foster  snap stamps  the  smallest size ( 1/8th I think )  The   Hot dog on the stick is stamped  in  creamy caramel on the Creamy caramel CS  for the background .. which is very hard to see  in this photo . I also used silver encore ink for my  trailer  with the black marker to accent the  wheels , steps , window   and  door hole. I love all the  stamps in the set sooo cute even the  little boot and  canteen  & sleeping bag  this set really  covers all the  campin goodies  thats for sure ,  Now if ONLY I loved camping .. that would be the  Best part .. BUT Nope  Hate camping  maybe  Its cause  My family  camped  every  summer all summer long   while  growing up .. who knows  BUT I still love this set ..  and the bestest part It didn't retire this year YIPPIE!! the matching wheel is super cute  also did not retire  either.. YES Dawns a Happy Camper !!

Happy Camper  Moment  II:

Yesterday  ANGIE and I  talked on the  phone  what seemed like all afternoon   YAHOO!   Guess what I found out  yesterday  that busted my  misunderstanding  myth of  Toast ovens ..  ( I  really  only thought RICH folks  had a toaster ovens )  I know  sooo silly of me  BUT Angie  set the  record  straight  for me  YIPPIE!!   we can  all get  a toaster ovens at Wal- Mart for   around 40 bucks .. Hot diggy dog  Happy camper ..  Angie probably   thought I  had really  flipped my  lid  when she mentioned  about her toaster oven and  I  said ONLY RICH people  have those ..  we laughed  Thanks GF for  making me  feel RICH yesterday .I think Angie  & I  could have been long lost sisters  in how much we  think alike  and have  so many things in common  .. She is such a blessing to me ..  Yes YOU Chickie   wink wink .. OH my gosh did you see that  super cute doggie stamp she got .. Guess whats coming your way  another

Hey thought I would share this photo of me  and Jessie  we took yesterday morning before church  for my hubby.  Jessie is sooo Great at   taking photos  while holding the camera out in front of  us .. I  don't know how she does it .. But I love the photos she took of  us  together.. she is sooo cute ..

Last night at Church we started  a  series of lessons on  how to witness and I  cant  tell you all how  sooo excited I am  to do this  series  called "JUST WALK ACROSS THE ROOM " I   soo love it and it is sooo AWESOME!!! .. I also  purchased the  book and am  reading it  every day ..  This program is sooo awesome even if you just purchase this book  and read it without  following the DVD  program  that our Pastor is  sharing with us on   every Sunday night  you will gain so Much insight on your own personal  witnessing to others I highly  recommend  it to all of you  who want a different approach to witnessing to loved ones , friends and especially  total strangers   that  your path crosses .. I will say with just the  1st 2 chapter  since I started reading this  wonderful book it has  changed my outlook ..   funny thing  happened   at church last night  Pastor Brad asked all of us  what would be some  reasons why  you  would not want to witness  to others .. I raised my hand  ( of course.. Cause I love sharing  )  and  shared with them I once when  witnessing  to a man and  was  told to get off their property or  he would shoot me .. NO kidding he had a gun and  everything .. well to make a long story  short  I  got off  his land  HELLLOOOOOO  you betcha I  don't think I walked so fast in my life .. :-)  anyway  this  Just walk across the room   takes a  totally new approach  on   sharing Christ  with others .. One hint Its all about  relationships  and  those that know me I am  soo BIG on that  anyway in my own life  The  author of this book  is Bill  Hybels and he Pastors a Very large  church in  South  Barrington, IL called Willow Creek  Community church .. The  things he  shares in his book  will  show you  that its not  about everything you "think" you know and  what  you may think you need to know  to  share  Christ with everyone ..  We just started this series  last night with the DVD part  and  I  cant  hardly wait  until next Sunday night.. I love this book and if you get a chance  to read it  I am sure you will love it too .. and  Hey if you have read it  and  done this program  I would  so love to hear your thoughts  and  what you learned  from this series .. you can  get the book and or the whole series here at AMAZON

OH my goodness  look at these 2 beautiful cards I received in the mail along with  cards and envelopes for the  troops ..  The  1st one  came from ROSE ANN she  sent  me  her 2nd box of cards for Operation glitter drop / Cards for the troops ... every  card is sooo awesome  and  so was this  super cute /Bright /  cheery  card  she added  in her box for me  with  such a sweet note and  something special  inside ( Love  this card  girlie )  .. Thank you  so much  for everything  Rose  Ann you ROCK  girlfriend ..

The Next Beautiful card  came DALE ANNE she sent this beauty along with a   BIG bunch of envelopes for the cards for the troops ..  what a surprise to see  such a  Fancy card  for ME!!! I just love chocolate chip with pretty in pink .. and there's that  Great set  from Sell-a-Bration this past Jan/ Feb Thank you  so Much Dale Ann for this  very pretty card ..Love it!! Next  goodies in the mail came from  my  bestest gal ANGIE OH my  look at the way she used the fishy friends  set .. So adorable .   Man  I am so very sad this set is retiring Boo Hoo!  ( still keepin mine though  cause I love it sooo much )  Love the way Angie  layered  the  sq  over top her main image .. I am drawing a blank on this type of technique  But  I love it .. One  stamp I love  doing this technique with to is  the retired  stipple rose .. Love  that  watering can stamp too girlie and sooo love that  paper you used  on this card . Love  My cards  GF .. You girls  are sure spoiling me  and I sure am love'in it ..Wink Wink  I have a  couple more to share with you   But I will save them for tomorrow  okey dokey  artichokey ..

OH boy it has been soooo  beautiful and  HOT here in MI  and   sooo happy  we  are  not in snow  any  more .. I have been Sooo ready for Summer. This Summer  seems like it's already planned out  for  FUN with VBS coming in July & Then  when Hubby  comes home In August   we are planning our  yearly  CEDAR POINT trip with our  Youth group  at church sooo you all know  what that means ... NEW HATS  for me YIPPIE!! Yup this  is the Bestest place   ever to get my  funky hats I wear all the time   and for  around 12.00  cant  beat getting  at least 2 new ones this year .. stay tuned ..  Plus everyone is excited to get on the  new ride The Maverick  ( except me  I love the water rides Especially  SNAKE RIVER FALLS  Man this water ride ROCKS!!! ) 

  Since it  has been  on the  steamy  side here in  Michigan ( close to 90  degrees ) we had to  break out the kiddie pool for our  sweet Bowzer  who just loves Water( of course  thats cause he is a Lab )  Have to share    this photo we  got of him chill'n the  his pool  already .. He sooo loves his  pool  I just hate it  when he gets out and rolls in the  dirt.. YUCK! But I guess it's nothing a  towel can't  fix I suppose  right ?  He  is sooo cute.

Yesterday  I got  everything pre ordered  that I had on my wish list  from the  Fall & Winter preview and  then some .. OK ALOT more than I planned on .. But  Hubby  gave me   money to spend on  new goodies  for Mothers day ( He is the Greatest  and NO not  because of  that  But just cause he is All mine )  I ended up getting  the 3  new ink colors  That I mentioned yesterday But added  the reinkers and the matching CS  also ..  and I also added the  Pick a petal  set too ..  I just know I would  have been  M-A-D if I didnt get that one   especially  durning  the "special" Pre order this time around ( all you demos  know what I am talking about  wink wink  YAHOO for us  SU! Demos ) ...Cant wait for the new goodies to arrive .. stay tuned  for that sun shiney day ..

Thanks for poppin In today  I am going  to stamp  some things between today and tomorrow   for my upcoming club meetings  this month .. I have one project lined up Just need  1 more  show stopper .. Need to get  my next  quarter Sunday school lessons laid out some time today also..

Its Friday JUNE 1st YAHOO!

Tuesday I had to take my  vacuum in to get  cleaned and  a new roller  plus a new belt  put in ..  if my hubby was here he would have fixed that vacuum  in a jiffy  and  for  alot  less $$  too ..( This card today is   for my hubby )  Well today I get to pick up my  vacuum  cleaner  so I guess this means NO more excuses  for no  vacuuming HUH?  Bummer ...

Today  is the BIG day  for us SU! demos  cause  today starts  the  pre ordering  for us  Stampin 'Up!  demos  from the  preview  mini catalog .. YAHOO I have a  couple things I will be purchasing  One of them will be the  set called " Hugs & Wishes " I am such a sucker for  verbage ( words & saying )  stamps   I can never have enough  since it seems I  want to have the perfect  saying for   so many of the  celebrations & special times in my life  I just love the new Happy Anniversary stamp in this set .. I will also purchase the new  Soft sky  designer paper  and  even though I really  did Not  care for the  Zoofari  stamp set ..It really is growing on me  I can  just imagine all the  cute  funny  sayings I can add to those   animals  like the bird stamp in this set  reminds me  of my  tall Hubby and daughter  what a cute saying for this stamp " Hey long legs " silly huh? with of course me  being the shortest of the  3 birds ...  I also am very excited about the  New IN colors  I will be  pre purchasing  at least 3 of them  " Soft sky, Wild  wasabi, and  groovy  Guava ..  those  are My  favorites  from the   1st time I seen them ..

Alot of fun is approaching !

Well we are counting the days until this years VBS ( Vacation Bible  School )  I  am doing the  super fun music   dept  again this year  I have  done the music for the last 3 years and  absolutely  LOVE it ..  what a Blast .. Our VBS this year is set for July 9th-13th and I can  hardly wait ..  This year VBS theme is  GAME DAY CENTRAL  OMG it is  sooo awesome !! I always have  a Favorite song every  year and  this year is NO different  .. This year my Favorite song is A.B.C Strategy just click  this LINK and click on  a sample of A.B.C Strategy  song ..  Oh my this  song is soooo GREAT!!!  for  each of the 6 songs we  teach the  children   sign language movements to  go with each song and I have to get crackin to get all the movements down  quick .. Funny it  takes  us "Older"  folks at least a few months  to  learn all the  motions and words to each song  and  the kids learn them  in  only  a few times showing them .. My kids  will also love this song  TALK ABOUT JESUS Every year just keeps getting better and better... and what a  message  each song delivers  Gets me all chocked up with excitement  about VBS this year ...  another fun thing for us teachers is we get to wear all our   sport team Jerseys GO Detroit ( Pistons , Tigers, Red wings & Lions ) How fun is that  gonna be .. I BLAST I tell ya .. especially with my  Brand new knee  YIPPIE!!  so do you want to come to VBS and  bring your  childern ?  would love to have  all of you  come  it would be the best week   for your kids  they will LOVE it

Schools OUT!!

Today is Jessie's Last Day of school for the summer  and its a half day to boot    there will be an awards  ceremony this  morning at 10:00 and  Jess is up  for an award  or 2  so thats where I will be today .. Then after words  we will get some lunch( Salad Bar somewhere  ) and celebrate   the beginning of summer and Sleeping IN !!! YAHOO!! OH my  next  school  Year will be 10th grade  and drivers training  watch out world

Jessie & I want to be the biggest LOSERS!!

Hey did I mention Jess and I  are on a mission to lose weight ? Yup!! pretty soon  we will be heading to the  YMCA  and  working out  and  shedding the pounds  in Hopes to be  alittle ( ok  Hopefully ALOT)  thinner  by  the time Hubby comes home  in  August .. we are on a great start  Just need to  be able to  work out with the machines  and gain  some muscle  and lose some Fat..Just waiting for my knee to  get  alot better  before we head to the gym  so  for me its is mainly  cutting  down  as of right now  and getting my  3 days a week in PT ..Man Todd really  makes me  work ..No kidding   breaking a sweat and everything .. so Not only  am I strengthening my knee  But  man am I  getting a  work out on my hips ... Yippie !! Will keep you posted on  the  big weight In's

Update on  Operation Glitter Drop!

On Wednesday I received  More cards for the Troops  "Operation Glitter Drop "  I received  cards from Rose Ann ( her 2nd  box ) and Ann Marie got  together with her  customers ( Kim Markey & Sheila Bernett)and her downline ( Sandy Webb) and sent  2 boxes of cards.OH My  goodness  you all  are  sooo awesome  for sending  such  Beautiful cards  Thank you  from the bottom of my heart  girls ..  so this brings the  Grand  total of Cards for Operation Glitter Drop to 5,073  Sooo Awesome girls ..
