Happy mail Day ..

I recieved this  beautiful RAK from ANN .. such a sweet note inside also  and  to think  she  remembered I love purple too :-)   Ann used the polished  stone technique   for her card along with the BAROQUE MOTIFS Stamp set .. Thank you Ann for  your  Beautiful Blogger RAK .

Double bag with matching cards set ...

A couple days ago My  bestest gal Corrine  AKA Roxy   shared her tutorial with us on  this cute double  bag she learned at regionals  this past week .. WOWZIE what a  Great tutorial and I so Love this  little bag .. I can see me making alot of these babies ..  For mine I used the Creepy Crawly Designer paper,   along with YUP you guessed it  the little  spider again from the booglie eyes set  ( you  all know  I   am  really lovin this little guy  right ?  BUT not as much as Mr Crabby pants  Hee! Hee! )   I also used  pumpkin pie Cardstock for my  cards to  match this cute bag  both cards fit perfectly into  this double bag  .. I  added dazzling diamonds again to the  spiders  and  also googlie eyes  to a few of them.  Black  GG ribbon was used for the Double bag  handle  and  also   snips were stapled to the  cards and the  layer on the bag  .. Thank you  so Much  sweetie  for  such a awesome tutorial  Just fabulous!!

This afternoon Jessie will be coming home   from her  trip to  the GREAT WOLF LODGE  with Ruthie  and  her fam By the way  want to see the room they all stayed in  click HERE  Its a beauty and  tonight is my  other club  meeting .  Then  tomorrow  morning is  my Glitter Queens meeting ( DL) will share  lots of photos  later next week  stay tuned ..

Bella & her Fancy pink car ...

I  made this  super cute Bella  Z card using my  Great friend  JEN's  images she SENT me.. Is this  the cuttest bella ever .. I  knew I had to make  her  car Pink  since  she looks  like she is a  real girlie girl  Hee! Hee!  I  also used  the pink  polks dots  DS paper  from the Petals & Paisleys ( there is a  small strip of this  design  on the  piece  that says TOGETHER  on it).  I also used  Regal Rose card stock   and  of course   the white gel pen  for the  doodle dots, believe me  when  I tell ya I was thinking about adding polka  dots all over her car too .. But of course I held off on  my temptation and  IF only we could  get  dazzling  diamonds on our  cars  wouldn't this  be the BEST?  But until they do, I guess Ms. Bella will have the best looking ride in town .. Double pocket Halloween card...

Thanks   to BEATE  for her  wonderful tutorial on these super cute  double pocket cards .. I  just love  how easy these are and how cute my  1st one  turned  out .. I added a  jumbo paper  clip to my  double pocket card .. I was wanting to add something in the  top pocket but   couldnt think of anything  so  I just left it as  is.. Even  though  I have 1 pocket in use , I still love it .. Thanks Beate ..

Today Jessie is leaving  for GREAT WOLF LODGE  up in Traverse city  until Friday with my  favoritest Cousin ( Ruthie and her fam )   Jessie is sooo excited about going . I  dont know  who talks  more about  counting  the days  down until  they leave  Jessie OR Ruthie  hee! hee!  Jessie has  Thursday and Friday off from school  due to a  Teacher  thingy   going on ,so they are leaving right  after school  today ..BUT   at school camp  this  year  Jessie and her team placed  1st in  their  skit  they did  while at camp  and  1st place   winners get a day off  from school SOOO Jessie  cashed in her day off  for today so she  could  pack and  also sleep in  a wee bit longer  before she leaves this afternoon .. Cant  wait to hear all about  the fun time  and see those pics  ( which I will share with  you all  then too )

Christmas box set...

Howdy girls: I  am shocked that I   was able  to finally  get around to making one  of these adorable boxes   that my bestest gal ANGIE sent me  the  template  of  way back in May  right after my knee replacement  surgery  REMEMBER ?( Oh my  it  has been  a long time  for that cute  pattern  just  sitting there waiting for me to  use it ) This past weekend   I made this set  and  I  sooo wish I knew how to share this box  template with all of you  But I have no clue  how to do all that  since I just traced her template out onto  the Pretty in pink 12x12  cardstock  and cut out .. sorry ..  maybe one day  ANGIE or I will figure out  how to  make templates  on our computers .. anyway .. I used the new   SNOW BURST  stamp set  from Holiday  Collection Mini  with pretty in pink  and whisper white cardstock  along with brushed  silver card stock . I also added  silver cord  with the pink gingham ribbon  also . I  stamped on the pretty in pink with the white craft ink pad  and then on the whisper white I stamped in pretty in pink ink .I  also  made the  2 matching cards  to go into  this cute box  using the  HOLIDAY & WISHES  set for the Merry Christmas saying   in  Black ink  .. I just love the way it all turned out ..   Thanks for  peeking in today and Thanks  you  sweet pea for this  awesome Box template and  your  wonderful sample  you gave me with all those other  goodies   ( Love ya ). Hey did you notice my new watermark I made last night I so love this one ..  and  really love my photo shop elements  5 ..

Halloween Tri Fold ...

Hi  girls,  Yes I am still making  Halloween cards ..  For someone that doesn't celebrate  Halloween I am sure having alot of fun making goodies  centered around  this day HUH? OH well .... I was  goofing around and  stamped this one day  awhile  ago  and  I am just now  getting around  to posting it . WHY?   well I thought  I would have this as   a M&T  for  my hostess party  thats  approaching BUT things  have changed  and well Now I  can share it with you all ..  The main card  is in Summer Sun  with  black CS  behind it . I used the  1 3/8  and 1 1/4  sq punch  and of course  the  spider from  booglie eyes  set . I  color blocked  the  saying  with my black marker  so I  could  split the  saying in half  . I just wanted HAPPY BOO on the front and  TO YOU on the inside .. I just  used my black marker and colored in  the  words I wanted  and then stamped, Then   Cleaned my stamp off   really good  and did the other 2 words  as before  with my marker .  I added googlie eyes to the BOO  on the front    and  I also used the Cheesecloth background stamp  in summer sun. Black  tiny  dots   were added with my Black SU! marker and   also Black GG ribbon .  I used  my Going Gray SU! marker   for the spider . along with googlie eyes on him also .. (You all  know how I am  with   this  spider and his eyes  right ?)

The measurements  for my tri fold are

10 1/2" X 4 1/4"

score at 3 1/2" and  7"

  Hi girls hope your weekend  is going  GREAT   Its  Sunday  and you all know what that means   right ? Cards for the troops  showcase  .. Thank you again to all  of you who sent  beautiful cards in  for our troops ..  1 quick UPDATE on hubby: He will be  transfering to a new base for a couple months in Iraq   He will be  in northern Irag  from Oct 1st - Dec 1st .. This is an answer to Prayer ..   Thank you  all  for praying  for  my hubby  and our troops . Our Club meeting  Friday night was alot of fun , and  yesterday  ALOT was   done  putting the final details  on my Hostess appreciation party  plans ..  Its getting  so Close  and I am sooo excited  to spend this night  with  my  Stampin  queens . Have a WONDERFUL  Sunday  girls  and  share a Smile  today

wonderful mail day& Hot tub story ...

I  got   these 2 beauties in the mail  . The 1st one is  from my  stamping  Queen  Laura .. sorry for the  delay in posting your  Great card girlie .. with this new computer  I  took a photo of it  and   totally  forgot  where it  was uploaded .. I  usually  upload my photos in my  documents BUT some how your card was in  MY  Pictures  totally  different  file . and  I  didn't actually know it was  even in   there  until I was   looking around my computer and  there it was .. DUH  Now I really need to upload there  from now on I guess ... Laura sent me  this  great card   for her Mary Kay order  a  few weeks  back  its so cute  wouldn't  you agree ? 

Next on the  mail call day  is this card from   one of  my Glitter  Queens  Nancy Yes once a Glitter  Queen Always a Glitter  Queen I say .. and  her  card is   also a beauty, And sticking with  Glitter  Queen style  look at the  glitter on her hat .. Thank you  girls  for your  beautiful cards ..

OK now on to my HOT tub issue ..  I  am not  sure how this all happened  BUT hubby  winterized our Hot tub when he was home.   We even  stopped in  at a local hot  tub dealer to see what  we needed to  do  since this was the very 1st time  we actually  drained the  hot tub  for the winter ..  ( Note:  keep in mind  this was the  1st time ) Well the Hot tub dealer  ( Not a Sundance dealer .. Which is  the company we got ours from )  told us to  drain  hot tub and  then  use a wet vac and  suck all the  water out of the lines  through the  jets  and  then add  antifreeze ..( Can you see where this is all leading )  Ok hubby said thats easy  enough  then he  did the hot tub  everything  was  fine,  Then Tuesday   evening hubby  called  from Baghdad  and  asks  me to actually  call Sundance  and see what kind of antifreeze  we were to use .. ( WHY  he didn't think of this when he  was  doing it I have no clue) .. I am sure it was the Holy  spirit  talking to him  even though it  was  alittle  late  for HIM  to  do  it since  we thought  we had  done it  already .. Well Sundance   said we  need to use NO toxic  antifreeze  (  you know the   pink stuff  for  RV's , pools  etc...This stuff is actually  cheaper than  reg antifreeze 3.99 a gallon I got 4 for the flushing   )  well as  you  can guess  Hubby used  car antifreeze ..  soooooo  This was  a BAD  situation   since the  antifreeze  that was in there HAD to come out  due to hurting the   jet lines and  pipes.  Then the next thing was  we couldn't  just let it  drain into our back yard  since it was Toxic  and   could kill Bowzer  and what ever else it came in contact with ...  SOOO  what  are we going to do .. I  knew I had NO clue what to do  so Rich talked to  me about the  procedure and what to do exactly ..  1st we had to  use the wet vac  and suck out  every  drop of the antifreeze  that was in there  and then   being very careful  not to spill any  and then  transfer it  from wet vac to a  proper container  for  disposal  .  Ok  BUT the fun was just  starting  cause  then we had to  flush out all the jet lines  with the  correct  antifreeze   at least 3 times . That meant  adding the  pink stuff  by  a Turkey baster  into  each Jet   line  until filled  and then  sucking out  again with the wet vac 3or more  times .So  the flushing begins ..  Man those  jet lines  were either  super long OR my  turkey baster was  really  small cause it  seemed like it took   forever ..    My lovely mom  actually  got inside the hot tub  and  did  the  floor jets  and I did the  sides    Actually  now thats it is done  It wasn't  really   to bad Just time  consuming  and  of  course I was a nervous wreck. But  by the  2nd  flushing   Me and my mom were pros  we  even laughed  about  doing it as a business .. ( Go figure ) We are just Praising God  for Richard  listening   and all  is fine  and the  Hot tub is officially  winterized ....Big Thank you  to my mommy  for her help and  her  encouraging  conversation   while  passing the time  flushing ..

Back to Halloween ...

Here is another JAN TINK  card  I made  using her  idea  for the tent topper card  with a twist .. This time I used the  booglie eyes  set  and  of course the creepy crawly  DS paper again ..  here is what it looks like opened .. Tonight is my  East side  club night  and  I  must get things around for that  and  make sure I dont forget anything :-)

Last night  Jessie  wanted me to french braid her hair .. OH  my , Jessie's hair is getting long  and  It's  actually  fun braiding her hair now WITHOUT the  moaning  and  whinning and complaining that Its to tight , it pulls, OUCH!  etc....  I just love it braided  and had to take a photo of it ( OF course ). The center part is  alittle off But she  is   going to be taking it  down this morning anyway .. for the wavey look , Ya know ?

Hostess Appreciation party Invites ...

I finally  got  the invites done this  past  weekend  and mailed out   Monday  and  I am sooo glad to have that off my mind ..Now  I need to get crackin on  the M&T's for this special event .. I just love my  Hostess Appreciation parties .   I have only  recently  started having them  themed , Last year was my Pirate  party ( What a Blast )  but going  with the idea  from SU!  convention  this past  July  I figured  why not have a PJ party .. Love that idea .. Believe  me  I had alot of ideas  floating around ( saving those  for next year maybe )  For this year I plan on  doing  something  totally  different than Past years  and  I must keep this under wraps  cause I don't want to spoil it  for my girls ..   For  the little  tag  On the front of the invite  I had seen  while  browzing   one of  the Stampin Mag's out there  I seen a cute idea  and  had to incorporate that into my invite  some how .. BUT I added  alittle more of  course  to mine

No make up  required

No health food allowed

& Lots of  stampin going on ..

Pizza ,Popcorn and ice cream sundaes  will be served   along with a  couple games .. OH and  lets not  forget  prizes for the   Best PJ'S  and  Best Slippers ( No  these  items are not  stamped  Just   worn  to the party..  thats the only  requirement )

From one Season to the next ....

Hi girls ..As you  can tell the last few days I had my hands  making Halloween  goodies . Well yesterday I stamped  a Christmas Card ( I know can you  believe  it ?)  And of course it just had to be another criss cross  card  that I so love .. I used the new  Design paper  called " DASHING "  for the  front of my  Criss cross card  and the base is real red  cardstock and the insert  base is  River Rock card stock  with whisper white  .. I also used the stocking from the hostess set " EVENT  FULL "  and the tree is from the NEW holiday mini  called  MERRY & BRIGHT and the Merry Christmas  stamp  is in  this set "HOLIDAY WISHES"  I also used  the scallop punch  from SU!  which you can see that HERE. Gee whiz after all that jumping around  your  head is probably  spinning huh? Hee! Hee! I also add  a star punch. ( retired )  I also added a  touch of Stampin'Up!  Red gingham  ribbon and last BUT  not  least  my  trusty  white gel pen  for the  little dots  on the scallop  punch and the  star &  also in the  centers of the  dots  on the belly band   .. BUT I also added  tiny  real red marker   dots  on the  center of my  tree  loops .  I Just stamped the stocking onto the  designer paper  (   same  as the   base card layers )  in  Black and cut them babies out  ..  easy peasy huh? I just love it  and  how Bright it looks ..

Moving on from my bee issue .. Now its my hot Tub ..  OH boy  I think I will  spare  you all the details  since its  such a long story and I may get finger  cramps  from typing .. ( NO kidding )  But  lets  just say Me and my  lovely mom will  be  quite  busy with that the next couple days .. I am just Praising God  its  such a  nice week  weather wise   and  it  wont be soo Bad  with what we all have to do .. ( At least thats what I am saying now , ask me tomorrow  Better yet Ask me this weekend  when  I Pray  it will all be done .. Now if Only I could find my  Turkey baster ....  Enough said on  this story..

OK on to other  things .. HEY  you all watching  THE BIGGEST LOSER ?? YAHOO .. .. I love this show  and  last night was the  2nd week  for the new  season so if you haven't  watch it yet , Its not to late  Tuesday nights  at 8:00pm  on NBC. Its a Haunting ...

Ok Stampin Queens .. Here is a sneak peak of  one of the  cute cards we will be making on our club night  this month .. actually  both projects will be Halloween themed .  The other one will have to wait .. But  just a  hint  the other one uses  Googly eyes .. Its soo stinkin cute ..  Cant  wait  to have you all make them both  ..  Of course this one too is sooo cute, Its the CRISS CROSS card  you probably have been seeing all over the place in blogger land .For This card  I used one of the  sets  you can purchase  for 30% off  with your $30.00 purchase of other goodies  from catalog .. I just love this set ..  I also  love the font on the verbage  in this set is  soo appealing  to mine eyes :-) and lets not forget  the  other super cute images in this set, and the creepy crawly  DS paper is  awesome too. We will be using the  watercolored pencils   for my cat   along with the blender pen ..  You can't  tell but  Glitter is  all over this  card .. seemed to disappear  when I snapped this photo  Boo Hoo!

Thank you  all for your bee  help girls .. Who would have thought I  wasn't the only one  that had this happen to :-)  I had the Orkin man come out and  help me  find the point of entry and they are  coming in  over at my  water meter . Funny  me and my mom  did not  find  that Sunday night .. The Bug man said its  because  we  went looking for them  in the  dusk  time of day .. When  durning the  day they are  alot more active .  I  sprayed  the  hornet  spray I had as soon as he left and  the bees were  dying  left and right ..  He also said I had  Hornets  since he  looked at a few that I killed  and  get this  he  even  picked them up to  examine  them .. OH my goodness .. yuck yuck yuck ... Thank you  all so very much  for   all your helpful  hints,  stories ,  and  your push to call the  Bug/ Bee man  ..  I had another night of Bee Free last night  YAHOO!!  feels so Great to sleep in my  bed .. BUT Not  to sure how long  it will take me  to give over  checking under my covers .. EWWWWW

Boo!!

Happy Boo to you ... I just love these  little spiders on this card .. I used the  Booglie eyes set once again. I  stamped them on  the orchild opulence and  green galore  and then  filled in their eyes with  the white gel pen and   then  colored them  in with the matching  SU! marker .. pretty  cute HUH? and  once again I got  Brad happy  with this  card   . I don't know what it is lately  with the Brads .. But I am really  digg'n it .What I am not  digg'n  is  having bees  in my basement ..  And yes I have been  stung  twice in the middle of the night in my  bed  while I was sleeping ( Once on my  chest  and  once on my leg  OUCHY!!!) ..  Now that's Creepy HUH? (  just  thinking of it gives me the willies .. YOU too right ? ) What's really  weird is that the whole Time Rich was home  we didn't see  not  even  1 single bee  then 2 days after he leaves I get stung again this time on my leg ( Yup  while I was sleeping  again in my bed ) ..  He looked everywhere to see where they are coming in at BUT nothing .. I thought  for sure   through the back  door But we haven't used  that door in  over a month now .. I am  a bit confused ..  and I   think  Rich  thinks I am nuts ..  Maybe I  should start saving the dead bees I kill to prove I  am not   Crazy .. The only  good thing  is winter is coming and hopefully  they will   hibernate really  soon ..   They do  that right ? Yesterday between  church services  My mom and I  set bombs off  to kill those bees  and also  when around the outside of my   house  and sprayed .. Good news  I was able to sleep in my bed without getting  stung last night Praise God . I just pray  It took care of the problem .. You  wouldn't believe it  BUT I did  find another bee ( a DEAD one ) in my bed  when I  stripped the  bed sheets  off to wash them later yesterday.. Yes   I have a photo LOOK  the only  good thing  about this one is that he was Dead .

Rich Update :

He made it back to his Camp yesterday  around 4 :30pm  our time  he said he  was  relieved   he made it back  and  has  familiar faces   again .. Thank you Lord  for  getting him back safely

Halloween is coming..

It seems I am in the mood to make halloween cards   ..Even though We  as a family don't celebrate Halloween I know alot of my stampin queens  do .I knew I had to  give Jan Tink's  Card  a  whirl  as soon as I seen her tutorial  and I just love her  design  on  the tent topper cards,  with a twist of course ( she's so S-M-A-R-T) ..  Here is what mine looks like opened up .. Pretty Cute huh?.I had to case the  layout( But mine is a tad bit smaller )   just like my bestest gal Angie Since she sent me hers and I love it so Much . I am debating on if we will be making one of these at my hostess appreciation party next month. I  have  so many other ideas for projects  for this special night  so  we will see.. I am in the mist of  coming up with a simple   invite to this event . I am having   a hard time  with  what to do .. I think I should pop over to SCS and see whats all on there  and maybe something will spark  an idea ..

Howdy girls ..

Well girls It seems I am back  to counting the days I had to reset my counter the other day (  This is not a  for sure  date just a around about  guess  from what hubby & I were talking about when he was home ) Until then What do ya say we  get back to the stampin to help pass the days OK? .  I  had to use my new hostess set  EVENT FULL its a level 1  This has soo many cute images in this set , But my  favorite one is  the sweet pea  image  such a  sweet  little  pea pod  with a cute smile ..  This card is actually a  small 3x3 card  and I used the  ds paper called  SPLASH  from a few years back .. Can you  believe I  still have  almost a full pack of this  designer paper ?  I used  Gable  Green and  bashful blue  along with barely bananna & whisper white  too  and lets not forget the white gel pen  too.. Hee! Hee! I also used a snip of Cream GG ribbon . In this  photo This ribbon  looks so close to the  Barely bananna  cardstock  its  almost  exact match  BUT IRL it is a tad lighter .. For my   stamp set I seperated the  saying  from the images again  another simple  set to do this too, Try it .

I am off to  visit my  bestest  gal Diane   and  catch up with her and see what she has been doing in her home today .. Looking forward to spending  some time with her   this  morning .. Today  Jessie comes home  also from school camp .. I am sure I will hear all the  stories about how freezing it was up north  She promised to take  alot of photos  so I  am excited to see her and  those  fun pics later  today also.

A few Questions answered....

Hi girls :

I thought I would answer a few of the  most asked  questions you all have asked me since my hubby's return for home 2 weeks .

What did he  think of me and my  weight loss?

Well he was telling everyone I  am his trophy wife .. Not to sure  if that a  good or bad thing  ( just knowing what a Trophy wife  means  kwim?) But I know  him and he meant it in a very good way ..

What did he think of me  walking  without a limp ?

  Was in shock  when  going up and down stairs  and  his comment   at least once every day was that  he just couldnt get over how great I am getting around and sooo happy I  did it ..

How  am I doing  ?

Today was  tough But last night's drive to the airport was the most heart wreching   hour  drive I think I have ever had ..  I was sooo trying to keep in  a "UP " spirit  But  tears  flowed from all of us . There was a moment  Ijust know Rich was  thinking of  putting his luggage back in the trunk and wanting to go back home .

Where is he now ?

He flew into  Amsterdam  and then onto Duabi  and arrived there   at  4:30pm  Wednesday ( MY time .. 12:30am Thursday morning his time ) He will  fly out  from there to Bagdad at 8:30am Thursday morning and then be there for  2-3 days until he  gets  his helicopter  ride into his camp

What am I  doing  right now ?

Sad to say I'm Not  stamping at the moment .. really not much of anything  at the moment .. I had plans to stamp today But  that fell through  with my  eyes   sore and puffy from crying ..  and my hands hurting ( which I  think is  from the stress who knows )  Thursday I am planning to go to the gym  in the morning and  then Praying  I can get some stamping in  and get back to my  daily postings on my blog .. Please  Keep praying for my hubby .. Dont  stop . I have  my club  nights to look forward to in the  upcoming week/s  I must get busy and  prepare  for them  and also get my projects lined up for  my hostess appreciation party in Oct. Angie and I were on the  phone  for a couple hours Today   trying to figure  out our  new computers  and  the photo shop elements  program . I figure 2  heads are better than one in this department Hee! Hee! .. Thank you   Angie  for your sweet conversation and your  encouragement  on my sad day ..

  Tonight  I went to church  with all intensions of not  getting  in  the sappy cry  mode .. I dont know what I was  thinking  as if that was really  going to happen  :-)  I  felt as though  when I got to church  I wanted to  go back home  since I was not  up to  being asked how I was doing ( TERRIBLE)  ..  ( Mainly  cause I knew I would start crying again  kwim?)  But  that all changed when I seen Robyn  and her hugging me ,  Something about being  with your  church family  It brings such a comfort  knowing they all  care  and thats why they are asking How I am doing ..Then  passing out photos of   Rich  with  a few of our  Church family  was a  blessed  event  cause  there was laugher  in the mist of my tears  too .  Thank you all  for everything ..  EVERYTHING  seems  so shallow  when it covers so many  areas.. From  praying for  us ,cards, gifts ,  comments , emails , encouragement & Love .. I  treasure all of you ..  Thank you  so Much  for everything  and  all your patience while I have  been away from my  blog these past 2 weeks ..

September 11th..

  What a Day  to go back to Iraq on huh? To think all of it  started on this terrible day  in 2001. I remember exactly  where I was  and what I  was doing  this day in 2001  and  remembering  crying  so much and could not believe  it was all happening . It was sooo unreal .  Nothing to share  stampin  wise  just yet  ( Been kinda busy Hee! Hee! ) So I  thought I would share  a couple more  photos of us  Hubby  flight is later this evening  and   guess what We woke up to this morning ?  A link  under my  stairs  in the basement .. apparently   the leak has been there for  over a  year now  and Thank God  there was a bucket   that caught all the  water ..  It was a  very slow  leak  Whew !! Cause  if  the bucket  overflowed  we would have been in a  yucky mess .. Praise God we  seen/ heard it before hubby leaves tonight. Good news .. He had it fixed  before  I got  back from taking Jessie to school this morning .. YAHOO!   Just  some last packing  to do   so most of the day will be hanging out together  and  going over to see Tyler( See yesterday's post )   and get some  photos of him and Rich together.. ( We don't want  him to  forget Rich Hee! Hee!  ) Rich  bought me a new camera  yesterday(  The link shows a blue one BUT mine is PINK   its sooo tiny and cute .) .. I tell ya  He  has  really  spoiling  me  while he has been home thats for  sure . He also picked up a MP3 player for me to use at the gym   Its sooo little  its the new Go  Gear MP3 player with a FM radio also ...  This  photo is sooo funny to us .. Rich  kisses John  on his  forehead  all the time .. This is  one thing  he does ONLY to John  and  they both laugh  well this was their  Good bye  photo  from  Sunday night  after church .. and   what makes  this  even funnier is Look at  my  bestest gal Linda .. what a   silly  gal .. and of course she did this  as soon as I clicked it ..  what a goof  ball .. ( Thats why I love her ..)

BUSY weekend ..

Hi girls ..  This weekend  was jammed pack with  lots of fun  with  lots of  friends .. 1st Thursday night Not  to many photos  were taken of  our  time with our Pastor Brad and Robyn , Dylan and Tyler But  did  get this super cute photo of Tyler  eating oreos cookies  after dinner .. He is such a cutie pie .. and has  taken a liking to Rich ..  which  Robyn said  is very rare  for him  to  like someone  so quickly .   I  guess its  the funny and weird  things he  does  with Tyler  as seen in this photo from  Sunday  evening  service at church  that makes  Him like Rich so much .. ( what a goof ball  my hubby is )

Friday  night our  Great friends  Peg and Steve  took us out to Outback steakhouse .. YUMMY!!   what a Great time we had  so much so we didn't  want  the night to end so we all  came back to our house  and  guess who was just as happy to see  them as were were ??? YUP Bowzer  Hee! Hee!   Remember he thinks everyone that comes over  is there to visit t with him  and  of  course he  thinks he is a lap dog  too .  I guess  Bowzer  gets his  goofy  side  from  His  dad Hee! Hee! and Really loved Steve :-)

Next  was Saturday  night  OH boy what a fun  time we all had at Sarah & Jon's wedding ..  We sat with my Favoritest cousin  Ruthie & her hubby Kirk ( Of course Hee! Hee! )    and    Our  guys  really loved the wedding Cake  cause my mom made  it   for Sarah & Jon, YUMMY Cake  as you can  tell by these  cute photos .. 

Next  was Sunday( 9-9-07)  we all  got to go out to Whitneys  ( Yes I told you all we LOVE whiteys didn't I  )  the  whole gang  went .   What a Great time we had  with  everyone .. Just like every Sunday after  church ...  What a Blessed Life we  have with all our Family and Dear friends..  I know Rich  so Enjoyed  being with everyone  and is finding it so hard to leave  on Tuesday .. Please   keep praying  for us .. as I know  come Tuesday  will be very hard for  all of us .  Hubby leaves on Tuesday and Jessie then leaves for school camp the very next Day ..  Praise God the timing  could  not have been more perfect for her to  not  go until after he left  ( so she  can  take advantage of every minute also with her  dad )...But   OH what  shall  I do besides  cry  alot all by my lonesome .. Praise God I know I will be ok  But  sooo sad  and not looking forward to  that day ..

Sneaked in ...

I got to  sneak in  a quick card yesterday when Hubby went to the dentist to get his Teeth cleaned  and this is what I made .. OH my  The spooky  season is upon us  and I  was in the mood to stamp a  cute  spider card , So I used  my  spider from the  Booglie eyes stamp set  and  the new Creepy crawly  DS paper too .. and  look at all those Brads( 21 total, Can you spot them all ? ) .. Seems It was a little more than a quick  card But  I Did have a little less than an hour till hubby returned  and  ya know I don't want to miss a minute  with hubby due to stamping  so It worked out perfect in the timing  department  .. Every time I use this set I must add  googly eyes  to each of those  little critters in this set  so  needless to say Each of my  3 spiders  had those cute  eyes . I  also added  dimensionals  to the Really rust , More mustard  &  Pumpkin pie Cardstock layers  of my card  really  seems to add  just  that  perfect something  with  a little height. Today  my Cousin Sarah is getting married . Looking forward  to Her BIG day  and seeing all the  Family  Plus showing off my Honey bunch too  :-)

More goodies Part 3

Hi girls : I am sooo excited to share with you this morning what I got from my bestest gal Angie last week .. It arrived   the day after Hubby  got home . Look at  these wonderful  things  she sent me ..   The  tent topper  card is sooo cute  and I also  am one of the lucky ones who got one of her  grocrey list  pads ..YAHOO  and  also a notepad  in  my favoriote  color celery :-) ( Also Angie's favorite too ..)  and then she  also sent a  Gift card  to  go  to Ruby Tuesdays  ( My favorite )  Such  a sweetie pie .. Thank you  so Much Angie ..

Hey  did you  notice the watermark too I made with my new  photo shop elements  5.0 program .. Oh how I already love this  program .. so much to learn BUT  this was one of the  1st things I had to do .. and Love the way it turned out ..  I also wanted to post  that  Hubby will be returning  back to Iraq  this next Tuesday  the 11th  for  another 5 months  then he wil  come home for  another 2 weeks  of R&R and then go back again   until April of  2008  then he will return  home  for good  after that . I wasn't sure if you all knew that so I  figured I would  share the dets  alittle  today ..

Transfer of photo editing program ...

BUMMER the transfer did not work out with the photo  editing program from old  computer .. It only let me  do a few things before it   showed  an error  and  wont let me  do  anything else .... BUT  Great news  Hubby bought me  the  Adobe photoshop elements  5.0 at Sams club tonight ( yahoo)   and OH my goodness I  am having so much fun  with it already ..  I can't wait to post  & show you girls   the watermark I made for  Angie's  goodies  she sent me ..  Stay tuned ..

I  am in shock That I have yet to pick up a stamp  since my hubby has been home .. Can you all believe that ?  I had better  not   forget how to stamp YEA RIGHT! :-)  Well  yesterday was a nervous day  Hubby and I went to His electrical  Union Hall He is still connected to  and  we went  with High hopes and TONS of prayers in hopes that  when he  reaches   in the top 10 or so for job calls that  the hall would freeze him there  until his  final  return home  In  April 08  with  really no idea that  they would even   do such a thing  But  we had the thoughts of  whats the worse they could say was  NO but then it  would  put us in a position  that we really  didn't want to think about  and that was IF they wouldn't freeze him  he would have to come home early  and  then we would have to pay taxes on  all the money he had made  up  to that point  ( that would not be good )  anyway  without  even  being there for 5 mins   The Business Manager  at the Hall  Knew Rich from when he would call and check in with him every month  from Iraq  and well  to make  a long  story short   the BM is freezing him so  come April  when He  returns home he will be either   1st to go out  or  at the  very least in the top 5  Praise GOD!!! So needless to say  that  made the rest of our day  seem  alot  better  with that load off  our / His mind . Praise God !  and seriously  Thats all we both were saying on the  way home from the hall  yesterday  . Next on the list of things to do  was  Rich  had a personal order for Jessie & her  bed.  she  wanted a  shelf added on  ( remember her beauty of a bed  he built her ?)  so  he  got that marked off the list  yesterday  also .. ( seems funny  how it has been almost a year exactly  since he built that bed for her .. Man time flys  huh?)   Today we are heading back out to the lake  to re cover the boat  since  the cover on there is split up the middle  and  Rain is coming   Thursday  and  well this morning after Jessie  is dropped off  is the only   time we can  get out there.  Still so Much to do  in the  6 days  he is here still .. Anniversary cards & More ..

I have   alot to post  but thought I would start with these beauties first ..  Here is   our Anniversary card from Ruthie .. You all know her  as My FAVORITEST  cousin .. LOOK at all that Glitter girls ..  Here is the photo of us  when her and her Family took us out to dinner to Whiteys .. She  even  brought me  a vase full of Black eye Susan's ( One of my  favorites) and up until Saturday Hubby  didn't  want me planting any ... BUT guess what ?  that all changed that   day at Whiteys  YAHOO Thank you Ruthie Darling .. Kiss Kiss

Next  card is from my Mommy ..  she also added TONS of Glitter and  Gotta love that ..  Plus there was a  little something inside  for us too Kiss Kiss to my mom on a  Beautiful card  and  your  wonderful  gift  HUGS!!

I have  alot more to share  but  I still have to  upload them  BUT guess  what ? Hubby  transfered  my  Arc Soft photo impressions that I have been using for  so long to my new computer .. I couldn't tell you how he did it  But it made me cry .. I  am sooo Happy   the best part is We didn't have to end up purchasing a new program.

Hey  did you all notice the new photo I added  on my blog / This was taken on Sunday  morning before church  I figured this is pretty  resent huh?  anyway here is  the other photo my hubby took of me and Bowzer  that morning ...Bowzer actually got a  bath this morning before we headed out to the lake  so His hair in this  photo is not as shiney as  it is Now  Hee! Hee!  He loves  bath's  and  once he is all dried off  and brushed he just  prances  around like a big ole  Stud  Hee! Hee!

I got  a few photo of  yesterdays   cook out at the lake with my mom  which was Great and  relaxing  and Boy the corn  was GREAT!! stay tuned  for  more  beautiful cards and  photos  soon

New Goodie ...

Hi Girls .. Hope your Labor day is going Great .. I have  some  news to share My hubby  bought me a  Brand new computer ..This baby has all the bells and whistles and  I have no  clue  what  Or how I am going to  crop and  resize & add  my watermarks  to  my  photos now , But be patient  I will  figure something out.  I no longer  have  the program  that I used on my old computer  and now I am  lost  at what to do .. I have no  photo editing program on my new computer and  it also has  the new Vista program  YIKES!! ( Still out on debate on this new windows program )  I am thinking of  going with photo shop elements . Have any of you used this or  have it Please share with me what you think  about it  and if it is Good Pretty   Please ..  And also where I can find one  for a good price .. I think we may look at Costco or Sams club  what do you think ??  So needless to say I have no photos  to share  and hope this situation   changes  soon . Will keep you all posted .. Everything is  still  so wonderful  here at our home .  We had a Fabulous Sunday   with  Friends  and  even went  for the  Dairy Queen tonight after church .. How  yummy is that .. OH boy I haven't have a  DQ in soooo long  Last night  My favoritest Cousin  ( Ruthie ) and her  Family took us out to WHITEYS  OH my   that  was sooo AWESOME  to be with them and  eat that famous Fish .I have a Great photo to share  BUT can't  Not yet any way  well cause you already now why HUH? Tomorrow we are heading out to the lake  for the holiday day  and  having  ribs and  Corn on the cob ( on the fire of course :-) ... you know me  and  COTC..YUMMYO!!) Hi Girls ....

Hi girls :

Just thought I would pop in and Say Hi and share  a  few photos with you .. Hubby is home ( YAHOO!!) and  the last  3 days  have been jammed packed with   lots of  fun .. I thought I would share  the photos  from the airport   when we went to get hubby . Seemed  like forever  waiting for him to go through customs  OH MY  every time that  doors opened  we totally  freaked out  and this happened  to many times to count BUT then  the last time  HE appeared .. YAHOO!  His flight was  on early  by 4 mins  and  customs took  what seemed like forever ..  His flight was  1st to land  which you can see by the monitor

Then  we were off to Cedar Point  for  an over night stay onThursday early morning Until Friday morning .  Here is  a photo I snapped of Jessie ( Front car  ..You can see her  hair  she is  with  her friend Sam) and Rich  in the very back waving at me .. Is this a cool photo or WHAT .. they were on the Magnum rollarcoaster  ride .  and here is a  Group photo of  most of us ..( Steve & Racheal  are not in photo )  Yes everyone  rode the millennium Force .( Except for ME!!
