This has got to be one of my ALL time favorite cards to make, Cause you all know me with anything that moves , Pop up, slides and etc.. Hey pretty catchy Post title HUH ? Ok maybe Not really a 12 days of Spring tune. :-) This card is sooo awesome IRL, But I guess you will just have to wait until tomorrow and make one with me along with the video tutorial ( sorry to be a tease girls ). I have so much to share about this card design But I think I will save all that fun stuff for tomorrow Okey dokey ? I used Green Galore for my froggie card along with Gable green for around the windows of this card. I sooo love this set UNFROGETTABLE .. 
OK maybe not as much as Mr crabby pants CRAB & COMPANY but it is one of my top 10 favs.. Just look at his googlie eyes .. so cute huh? Hope to see you tomorrow Cause I would Hate for you to miss the video tutorial on this ONE fabulous Card !

I had a request to make the Little candy holders for one of the 2 projects for clubs this month and this was it .. Sooo cute with the SALE-A-BRATION set So many scallops .. Side note to self 3" flap side is NOT where we put the sticky strip DUH Moment ! Yes I should have known better gee oh Petes I did make the video and WHY didn't I follow the directions ? Who knows..

Well Easter is Really early this year so I better get crackin on the goodies HUH? I made this super easy Treat holder (Mine is holding a mini Kit kat candy bar ) I just used MINI GLUE DOTS to adhere the candy to the inside of the holder . I used Pretty in pink , Apricot appeal & Certainly celery cardstock for mine. Since it is a Easter treat and the SOFT SUBTELS color group 
are perfect along with certainly celery GG ribbon and Lots of Dazzling diamonds too, :-) I also used the A GOOD EGG stamp set ( Love this set) This treat holder measures 3 1/2 X 4 1/2 then score at 2" & 2 1/2 easy peasy .. Have a Fabulous Saturday girls and I will see you tomorrow ..

I wanted to try something new for today. I made these adorable cards for my Club hostess's this month . I had seen this Card my Friend Gwen received and I knew I wanted to make them for my club hostess's this month .. sooo stinkin cute don't you think? .. so I thought I would video myself making this card from from beginning to end for you to enjoy today.. Actually this is my very 1st video I made with NO chatting Plus this is the 1st one I made with a music overlay :-) Just something fun and different I wanted to try out ... OK here it is ~ The Never Ending Card .. I had the hardest time trying to figure this card out when I 1st started stamping back in 2003 . I looked everywhere and the ONLY place I could get written directions were on the CAROL DUVALL SHOW .. But even that was not very helpful At least not for me since I am a very visual person . But never give up cause guess what? Of all things a few months later
I Received a small Never ending card in the mail as an advertisement from AT&T weird huh? That's how I figured out how to make/ fold this card . If you always wanted to learn how to make this card, Then today's is your DAY! .. Enjoy the video Let me know if you have any questions . I also have the written directions HERE with another one of my favorite sets to use with this type of card Plus there is another link to my web shots gallery with more still photos of this card. I have many favorite cards BUT this one is for sure in my top 5 of all time favorite cards to make . Not only that BUT Just look at Mr Crabby pants AKA Crab & Company isn't he the cutest thing too . He makes any card Just a little better ( Remind you of the BP COMMERCIAL ?)
This card measures 6x6 and is a great card to give in person since you will have fun watching them open it up . This tutorial is also On the DVD I have available .Hope this card brings Never Ending Joy to you and those you send it to.

OH my gosh I received such awesome goodies in my mail box today I can hardly wait to show you what I got .. BUT before I get to that awesome show and tell I wanted to show you this Picture of my Bowzer that Jessie took for a photo contest at school she is submitting it today and well we will see what happens from here .. Isn't Bowzer a cutie pootie with Snow on his nose .. OH my gosh I could just kiss his sweet face .. Yes I kiss Bowzer ~ Not on the lips or rubbery nose of course YUCK but on his cheeks he is such a lover dog .. Hey don't you all kiss your dog/cat ? OK I may be weird, But I just can't help it .
Ok on to my fabulous happy mail day .I got this sweet box with 2 cards from My Blogger friend Kim Howard .. Oh my goodness look at all the beautiful elements she added to her cards. Kim is a very talented Stamper and has a Great blog too go check her out tell her HI for me . .. She sent me this amazing gift along with all her beautiful cards for the troops All our troops will love her cards they are sooo awesome .. Thank you so Much Kim

Patty had pitty on me since I Haven't able to go to SU! regionals event this year BOO HOO and I just loved her cards and told her so and Guess what she sent me 2 of her swap cards YAHOO!! 
HOLY MOLY Get this ~ she is pretty famous too cause she even did a workshop wow presentation at the SU! Oakland CA Regionals this past weekend. :-) OH my she is such an awesome stamper and such a sweet friend Thank you so much Patty.

Here is another one of the cards I sent into SU! for the March contest .. OH my I sooo love river rock card stock .. and the pack of Designer series paper GINGER BLOSSOM has a sheet in there that is river rock at least I think it matches pretty stinkin close to River rock anyway .. I did use GLOSSY CARDSTOCK for my main image with the Heart from the ALWAYS stamp set I embossed with white embossing powder and then I used my DAUBER with River rock and applied the ink over top of the embossed images ( the scallop punch out image with "always " is also done this way also . I used my 1/16 hand punch along the scallop punch edge) . I then added White taffeta ribbon and added a CORNER PUNCH and a few Vintage brads and a touch of Dazzling Diamonds glitter inside the Heart. I love the way this card looks and the tone on tone colors gives it a elegant touch for MOM .. Hopefully SU! will think so too . Thanks so much for peeking in today and Have a Wonderful Wednesday .

I was digging through my Holland seminar templates from a couple years ago and came across this one .. Really fun and of course I wanted to use my stamp set JUST B again so here is the finished card .. the top Regal rose triangle tucks inside a slit cut in the whisper white card underneath .. which you can view the remaining layers of this card in the rest of the photos below ..
I really like the bees with regal rose seems a little different ..
BUT different is good RIGHT? and of course dazzling diamonds 
was used on the flowers and the bee wings . I love cards that are different especially moving cards ( you already know that ) even though this one doesn't move or pop out, It still makes me smile when I see it. Click on photos to view large.
Regal rose Cardstock is cut at 4 1/4 X 11 find center on one end then cut at angle from center point to outter 5 1/2 score line .

Thought I would share a couple more photos My hubby took of the troops with your beautiful cards .. Sorry they are not that clear But still exciting to see the guys with the cards HUH? Yesterday was a busy day We had a fix up day at our church .. Jessie was helping clean the Nursey toys with Bleach and she had a reaction to
breathing that for almost 2 hours and when we returned Home she said her throat felt like it was tight and could hardly breath. We went to the Medical clinic and she ended up getting a breathing treatment and then also a RX of steroids for 5 days . Talk about a scare of a lifetime ... I also had to delay our club meeting by an hour last night. Thank you girls for understanding . Your the BEST!

Changed theme back to my Purple one ~ So YES you are in the right place .. Just in case you were wondering :-) You know me and PURPLE!!! Plus I thought If I changed my theme It would send out vibes that I am sooo OVER winter Hee! Hee! For a fun post I thought I would share a wee bit of Inspiration I came across.
The idea/ Inspiration came from this simple 7-Eleven pouch to hold Taquitos Which my daughters loves and we get her 2 of them every Sunday while stopping in for my coffee before heading to church . One Sunday I kept the pouch and told Jessie I was going to use this for a card idea , She looks at me with one of her Crazy looks you know ~ one eyebrow up and says WHAT? Guess you had to be there .. Anywho here is the card I made using the pouch for inspiration . I wanted to make it with a LOVE theme instead of a food theme. Hope this inspires you to look at everything in a new light .

Same project template from yesterday's VIDEO TUTORIAL , I Just used the WORD WINDOW punch from SU! to hold the pack of gum . I used Old Olive card stock and the FRIENSHIP BLOOMS which is one of the new 2008 sale-a-bration sets ..

Can you believe Valentines day is tomorrow .. so Guess what ? I have another video tutorial coming tomorrow on these cute candy holders .. I used HAPPY HEART DAY stamp set for these and the cardstock is Rose Red with Cetainly Celery.
Super cute little goody to give to your valentines sweetie .. I added the Reeses peanut butter hearts to the inside of mine OH SOOO YUMMY!! I just want to mention I have NOT ate all this candy that has been in my house during this time of making all these V-Day treats Thank goodness :-) Hope you all have a Wonderful valentines Day with your sweetie tomorrow. I recieved a Valentine from my honey bunch with the sweetest letter inside and Brace yourself He asked me to marry him again ..This August we will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and he wants to renew our wedding vows since we got married at the court house and never had a "Church" wedding sooo Romatic HUH? 
he said he has been waiting 5 years to ask me again .. WHY ? I have no clue maybe cause its the BIG 20th Plus he said he doesn't want to wait until our 40th or 50th anniversary since he wants to enjoy the honey moon Hee! Hee! ( what a Guy ) soooo nothing in the works as of yet, But Will keep you all posted .. Hey maybe I can share our special day with you all via video :-) JK ! BUT wouldn't that be a hoot :-)

I knew as soon as I seen this super cute center piece I knew I wanted to make one, and here it is . I added a whole bag of Hersey Chocolate kisses filled with Caramel OH my these are sooo yummy. I used BALI BREEZE DS paper for my center piece and also for my windmill ( the windmill template is from the SU! demo only web site . I will see if I can upload the pattern for you) I also used the Heart from the ALWAYS stamp set ( which is a fabulous set ) and the windmill is attached to a straw ( pretty cool huh?)

You can view the directions on how to make this centerpiece Or a upside down Cootie catcher is what my daughter calls them :-) HERE . Funny how things repeat themselves over the years. We were studying Beth Moore's JESUS THE ONE AND ONLY for the last 10 weeks What an AWESOME study it was makes me all excited and wanting more of HIM .. But Hey Guess what ? Did you know Beth Moore has a BLOG? NO STINKIN WAY Beth Moore .. YES she does YAHOO!! click HERE to pop in and see whats going on with her .. You will love her & her blog . Now I am on my next journey and finishing the Book EXPERIENCING GOD you want to know something really odd~Ok its not really Odd since we know things don't "just" happen right ? Divine intervention thats what I am talking about .My hubby found this book in an abandoned hotel he was working at in Baghdad,I know OF all the places to find such an Awesome book HUH? There the book laid all by its lonesome on a table. Hubby picked it up and It changed his life.. Now he has passed it on to me to read . Its soo Awesome How God works. Did I tell you all how much I love this set "INFINITE GOODNESS " hostess set level 2 ..OH yea I already did mention that a while ago didn't I Hee! Hee! I did the crayon resist again and this card actually has already been sent into SU! for the March contest .. so now I will wait and see what happens .. Actually I sent in a handful of cards to SU! for March . I think the waiting is the worse of course .. even so If I don't win I can't say I didn't try right ? I used Mellow Moss for the card base along with whisper white and Black cardstock .. More Mustard Ink was used on the pear and tiny black dots were added to the background with my SU! black marker . I also love the SMARTY PANTS stamp set .Don't you love that saying ? so many cute saying in this one set . I laid a scrap piece of CS over top of the top of pear and stamped the leaf so it appears to be sprouting out the top .This was a last min change to finish the card ..
Oh my goodness talk about looking silly last night after church We came home to -2 degrees outside and well as you can only guessed YUP my hot water pipes in my kitchen froze, sooo guess what I was doing for about 5 mins ? YUP I got my super powerful Hairdyer out and heated underneath my sink and YAHOO my hot water was running, But Jessie thought I flipped my rocker since I was blowdrying under the sink :-) Hey a moms gotta do what a moms gotta do right ? But seriously I think I just caught it in the nick of time before I went to bed since it was going down to -5 here in Michigan talk about BRRRRR , so is my Hot water running this morning you ask ? YES Thank goodness . I did turn the hot water on to a slight drip all night .. I have heard this helps to keep it from freezing .. and apparently it worked.

Oh I am sooo happy I got this set JUST B .. It has sooo many great stamps to cordinate with the " B " I thought it would be fun to re-create one of my favorite cards Found HERE using this new set .. I used So Saffron and Black for this card and look at 
those super cute bees on the inside seems I have had something about bees since this past summer getting stung in my bed a few times while I was sleeping .. and Then Jessie is doing her science report on of all things "Bees".. OH my see what happens when bee's take over.

I was having fun with 2 of our SALE-A-BRATION sets the other day and here is what the finished card looks like .. Reminds me so much of Spring and did you know day light saving time is only 4 weeks away ( March 8th if I remember correctly ) YAHOO! Bring on the Springtime I am sooo ready .. Ok back to my card I used the SO MANY SCALLOPS on page 2 & 3 for the flower, and GARDEN WHIMSEY for the stem . I also used LOTS OF THOUGHTS on page 5 & 6 for the saying. Just love the SPRING FLING Designer series paper I also used for my card today .I also added some white TAFFETA ribbon and look closely you will see I used the new background stamp from SPRINKLES ( love this set too ) for the bottom edge and on the top right. Look at this super cute treat holder .. again I used the gift card holder for my Inspiration . I did make this into a Book ( sort of ) So it wouldn't be so bulky when you close it .. I used Regal Rose for the base and of course the HAPPY HEART DAY stamp set..along with the SCALLOP punch Also white TAFFETA ribbon to seal it shut . I should have trimmed the front layer down a wee bit more BUT oh well I think it's still cute as can be .. 
Here is what the holder looks like when opened. Inside holds a Nestle Chocolate heart .. Measurements for this holder are as follows

This week I have recieved the cuttest goodies in my mail box. 1st goodies came from my friend Darla Roberts she sent me a Valentine Treat holder she seen me do in THIS Video Tutorial and she also sent me this sweet card using the EMBRACE LIFE stamp set ( my favorite set lately ) she did the Spotlight technique and it is sooo darling . Thank you so Much Darla ..
Next card came from a new Friend Patty Waite she sent me this adorable Thank you card .. I really need to use always Atrichoke more often .. Love the DS paper she used .. Thank you so much Patty.
Next goodie came from my blogger friend JANA WEAVER is this little girl the cuttest thing ever .. I just love how she added Crystal effects ( I believe It was C.E ) to her background circles.. such a sweet Valentine . Thank you so Much Jana ..

OH my goodness I so love this set EMBRACE LIFE .. One of my favorites lately ( besides the INFINITE GOODNESS level 2 Hostess set ) I made this for a dear lady at our church .. This Sunday right after church there will be a surprise Birthday party for her She is turning 80 . Can you believe that ? What a sweetie she is .. I told you I have been hooked on Crayon resist lately and well that's what I used again for my card today .. I wanted to see what it would look like if I just scribbled inside the flowers with the white crayon ( Just goofing around ya know ?) and WOWZIE what a nice look ( I think so anyway ) so instead of your typical outline with the white crayon I just scribbled inside the lines instead :-) Just playing around and who would have thought It would look so Great ! I used soft sky and river rock cardstock with black GG ribbon .. For the saying I used the LG. OVAL PUNCH and then layered that on to black CS and trimmed around the oval punch, added a bunch of SILVER BRADS and a touch of dazzling diamonds to add some bling, I used my WHITE GEL PEN also and my DAUBER with soft sky to finish the edges of base card . I used my HOBBY BLADE to cut a slit next to the black strip of CS on left side and added my GG ribbon through that . Thank you so much for stopping in today and sharing a part of your day with me .. I Just love this sweet stamp set IF THE HALO FITS mainly I loved the sayings in this set BUT the little angel is sooo adorable .. I had fun making this card and it could even be turned into one of THESE quite easily but I kept it as a simple sweet card in general .. I love the new Designer paper SPRING FLING also .. 
Reminds me of the designer paper we had back in the winter mini in 2007 called"Loves me " many of the same designs but in bright cheery colors Just love this DS paper ( just wish there was a touch of purple somewhere wink wink .. I am sooo ready for Spring aren't you ?
Speaking of Angels :
I also want to mention that the Cards for the Troops will be coming to an end sometime at the end of March beginning of April .Hubby will be either coming home in June/July OR He will be working with the State dept over there for another year either way, We thought that with all that in the air we would set a date to stop accepting Cards For The Troops .. What a a Blessing it has been doing this mission for our troops , sending love in a hand stamped cards to all of them . UPDATE: I have sent over 53 Flat Rate boxes( with 3 more heading out this week) of Cards for the troops since May of last year. Sending BIG {{HUGS}}} With Much appreciation for your wonderful Cards, Extra goodies for our troops , Money donations, Envelope donations & prayers You all have the biggest hearts and YOU are all AMAZING women and I am very honored to have been a part of this with all of YOU! If you wish to send your cards for the troops please do so Before April 2008. If something should arise in the near future you all will be the 1st to know .. I Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your beautiful cards you all have sent in for our Troops. I do know your cards have touched their hearts as well as their loved ones back home .. I will gather some info for those that wish to still send cards for the troops but by other means through other groups / bloggers / organizations etc after April and I will pass this info on to all of you at that time ...Thank so much for peeking in to see whats going on in my stampin world ..Enjoy your day and I will see you all again tomorrow ..
