Happy Wednesday Stampers ..

I am so in love with these Carousel  notes  that are in the current Occasions mini which by the  way  this mini has been extended   until   June 30th  YAHOO!!  so you  still have time to  get them  Just contact me  to order yours  today . I made this sweet little holder  by  scoring on  the 3 sides  at 1 1/2"  and then cut the  two bottom  corner sqs off  then   fold inward.  the insert  I  added  for a Birthday greeting the stamp set  I used  was JUST CELEBRATE   which is also in the  current mini. I then used the scallop punch  for the top of  the  insert ( Just folded that in half  and adhered  down with snail  adhesive.

OH boy  what a whirl wind  day yesterday was  and Look  what I have sitting in  my  driveway .. HEE! HEE!  No I didn't buy a new car NO way I just  paid mine off like 5 months  ago~ Its a Loaner car  for the dealer ship  and Loaner means its FREE  for a couple days :-).. and NO I didn't  get in another accident  either ( I knew you were gonna think that ) I  was hearing a  noise   coming from my  car the last month or  so and  well I just now got  around  to taking it in  to be  looked at ( Don't know why it took me  so long  since its still under warranty ( Praise God ) It  ended up being  my  power steering  gear was leaking  and the  fluid was low and since the part  had to be ordered  and  its more than 2hrs  to work on it   they gave me this Brand new  2008 Pontiac  G-6  to   cruise around in  ( Enter Dawns Shocked face ).Pretty cute HUH? (OH YEA!! )

Our  Luncheon at church yesterday was  fabulous  I  was close to 45 mins late  due to  car issue, But better late than never  right :-) Then in  the mist of my  busy day I heard  from  so many of you  via  comments / emails congratulating me on my card that was on the  Stampin Up! Stampers  showcase yesterday WOWZIE!! which by the  way was THIS CARD   What a  fabulous day ! Thank you  girls  for looking  out  for me .. Stampers are the Best gals  around !

Tomorrow  new videos are coming...  But I am doing  something new this week  all 3 videos  will be  focused  around  the  card/s I will be showing you  tomorrow with a  oldie But a goody technique Stay tuned  for those this week ..

( Dawns Heads  swirling ... I am getting  dizzy)  Plus  Is Ben going to  really Kill Penny  since  Whitmore ( Penny's Dad ) had a big part in  killing Ben  daughter( Alex) so says Ben .. OH my  Can't  wait till tomorrow night .. Yup I'm still   rambling HUH? sorry

Detroit Tigers & More

I  found these little  boxes of  chip board  pieces at  the dollar store  and  I grabbed  one of each design . This is the  1st  card I made with this design box called "Baby Boy "  I think its sooo weird  making a card with my name on it  I just wish I  more letters  cause I would make all my  "Dawn " Friends one too .. Yesterday  We decorated our  church hall  for a  fellowship dinner we are having with  the Missionaries that are in  town  this whole week  so you  all know where I am going to be  today HUH?  Here is the theme  we decorated in  "He's got the whole world ~in His Hand ". Just curious have any of you  seen Expelled :NO Intelligence Allowed   yet ? I really  want to see this movie I have heard  really  awesome things  about it .. man I am really jumping  all over the  place today  sorry But my mind seems  to  be  going in  different  directions as I write this .. so with  that  how about seeing a less than 4 min video from our Saturday at COMERICA PARK with   our Detroit Tigers ..  beware  the  1st part of the  video may make  you  little woozie  with Jessies  sudden movements  But  its still fun  the  rest of the video is  just a FEW highlights  that I caught on  video  NSR ( Not stamping  related )  But  OH soooo AWESOME!! You girls are cracking me up ..

OH my goodness .. you  all have me laughing  today about my  mug I posted this morning,  So I thought I would post a couple  extra photos of this  cute  "design your own mug " from the  dollar store .. Here is what the  mug looked  like when I  bought it .. and then the next photo  shows a break down on how it  comes apart  for you  to add your  design .. I took the template out ( see 1st photo)  then traced that onto  the summer picnic   designer paper  and   then  inserted it back inside  super cute huh?  Your comments  and emails  today had me  crying with laughter .. you  girls are  to much .   You know Laughter is soo Great for the soul .. Thanks girls for making my  day!

Look what I found ....

  Look what I  found at my local  dollar store .. YAHOO!!  super  cute HUH?  and  can't beat that for $1 . I of  course  just had to use  my Summer picnic  DS paper again  and I used the  stamp set  BE HAPPY  for the   center  "Smile" greeting then added bashful  blue card stock strip  around the  base ..  Easy peasy ..  Now I just need my  7-Eleven  coffee inside then I'm all set LOL

My 1st Detroit Tigers Game

  WHO's YOUR TIGER ?

 

OH my  goodness  what a  Fabulous day yesterday was   we were gone  from 9am until late last night  we got  to  meet  so many  Tigers  that  each gave their  personal  Testimony of  Christ in their life ..  I personally think this   was the best part of the  whole day  It was amazing .. I have alot of videos I need to make for my hubby  WOW!!! Here are a few that  shared what Christ has  done in their  life

After we  heard  the players  testimonies  we all got to go on the field  and Look~ here are our feet on the  turf.. WOW  what an amazing  feeling  being on the  field  and not a dandelion in  sight LOL... Tigers won 6~ Angels 4

Over 42,000 in attendance for the game  Over 5,000  for Home plate  event . I  had sooo much fun and  believe it or NOT I can  understand  why so many LOVE Baseball  Its sooo AWESOME  who would have thought  that ? NOT me  LOL  So many highlights   I will let the rest of the photos speak  for themselves .

 

I must share  this   funny moment  with you all  after we are in our seats  probably  20-25 mins or so   have passed loud speaker  comes on  and  says  there is a car in the parking lot ( License plate  number is read & type of car ) that  is still running  and  is Unlocked and Keys are in  the ignition .. Not thinking anything  about it  But   really who could have  done that  ? All of a sudden Our Pastor  jumps up and  takes off  and  Guess  it was  Our Pastor Brad's car .  NOW Whats  really  amazing  is that NO one actually  drove off with it .. I mean really  we  were in  Detroit  LOL :-) Praise  God !! Such  a Fabulous day  I am really looking  forward to next year  to  go with my honey bunch ..One thing we must not  forget next year is the Sunblock ~YIKES!!!

NSR update ..

Hi  stampers ..

I got my  Grand Prix back yesterday late afternoon  and it is sooo  pretty YAHOO!! .. As much as I  enjoyed driving my  hubbys fancy truck I sure missed driving my  car  even if it was for only 3 days. Here is  a new photo of the face lift  my car received  along with a  Super cute Car Model LOL.  Clarkston  Auto body did a Fabulous  job .    I received  the Car Model AKA Mr Crabby pants  from my blogger friend  ALANA  she mentioned to me she was at the Seattle airport and seen something  that made her think of me  and  Guess what she bought it  for me ... He is sooo stinkin cute .. you  wind  him up and  he crawls sideways  OH my goodness  Thank you  so Much Alana  I  Love  your  gift  and thank you  for thinking of me .. Long live MR.Crabby pants Hee! Hee!

Also look  whats blooming  at my  house .. Oh I Love  my  tulips . Just wish they  lived longer.. I even have ones that are  mix  colors this year  sooo pretty .. 

Today Jessie Has a 1/2 day of school  YAHOO!!  then she  goes to the Chiropractor

Tomorrow  Jessie and I are going to the DETROIT TIGERS game  at Comercia park in Detroit with  some friends.  We get to go on the field and meet  alot of the players  and do a few activities  on the field also  Then we all are staying to watch the game  which Tigers play the  LA Angels  gonna be a  super fun day, I'm the 1st to admit I am not a  Huge  baseball fan in general  But Looking  forward to hanging  out  with my  friend Linda  and the whole gang . Will have  some photos  to share last  this week .

Howdy stampers ..

Here is a card  I made last week  and  I love the black with the purely Pomegrante and the groovy guava  makes it all POP  with the black HUH?  I used the ONE OF A KIND stamp set  with BOHO BACKGROUNDS and  TRUE FRIEND for the  greeting .. I also used the 3/16  corner rounder for the  top scallops + the 1/2 circle punch for the  center of  flower. and Look at the greeting I used the white gel pen  to highlight  Friend  and You ( Love that part ) :-)

My hubby is  going through withdraws  of Lost.( he doesn't  get Lost in Iraq  :-( We will have to get  all of last season  PLUS this season  and part of next  season on video~ OH  what  a blast that will be  to re -watch  it all over again with HIM!!! So much has  happened  since he saw it last ..

Once in awhile ..

Every  once in awhile I  come up with a bright idea  Hee! Hee!  while I was playing with my  Carousel Notes ( Which are FABULOUS girls ..  SERIOUSLY!!!

you ALL  must get them before they are Gone this next month )  Look  what I  came up with ... pretty cute huh?  I think This will actually be my Moms Mothers day card this year, Since it's Very unique ( Just like her ).. What I did was fold the Carousel notes in half ( one of each color  Soft sky, Wild Wasabi, and  Groovy guava )   and  used  the  scallop punch  to make a type of a  suspension  card on each panel  . I  then added  Chocolate  taffeta  ribbon  to  hold the  circle punches in the  center of the scallop punch outs  and then made a  ribbon loop tag  to  add a little flair  to her card .. I  took photos of each panel and also of the  side  to  give you  a  visual of  what it looks like  put together. I used the ONE OF A KIND &  TRUE FRIEND stamp sets  to  bring it  all together .. a TON of dimensionals  were  used for this project. 

Dawns Little side note .. You will punch one  scallop out then line the others  up with that punch out  since it is really hard to punch  through  2  layers ...

I really love  the way it turned  out , Just as I imagined  it .. Don't you like it  when  things  work out that way ?

Yesterday  I was able to take my  car in  to start the  work on repairs YAHOO ..  We decided  Not  to go with the rental car  so instead  I am using my hubbys truck :-) .  I called to see how much it  would be  to put   insurance on it  and get it out of storage  for 5  days  and get this~ It's ONLY $12.66  for all 5 days  The rental  was  going to be  about 20.00 a day  so thats a savings ..  But  I am sure that will be  eaten up when I have to fill the gas  up  at the end of the 5 days ( Its all GOOD!! and  still Praising  God ) .. But  whats even better is that we are driving it  since its been just sitting there  for over  1 year now .. It's sooo pretty & fun to drive.

Dreams come True ..

Oh my  goodness  I just love this card .. Nothing  really fancy Maybe thats why I think  it looks   sooo Masculine ..  The  creamy  caramel  and cho chip together  make it OH soooo   yummy.  I used the  retired  wheel "Star studded "  for my  background  in  chocolate  chip  then filled in  the stars with the white gel pen  added  the saying  "May all your dreams  come true" in  chocolate chip ( see upclose photo) then  used  my  daubers alot  around the  edges  in  chocolate chip and then added Creamy  caramel  ink with dauber  on the swirls  and  ontop of the white gel pen stars .. I  got to use my new "STAR "punch( Love it!) which I punched out in Whisper white CS and then used my dauber with Creamy  Caramel and Chocolate chip inks for them also . I  used lots of  dimensionals  and the 1 3/8 sq punch  for the  center layer that holds the 3 stars.

Hi Stampers:

Happy Sunday .. OH my goodness we have had such a fabulous  weekend  the weather has been  sooo Wonderful I even got out  and raked my  yard yesterday .. YAHOO!!

Plus  Friday I got our  Stampers club order in  and  Look at all the Tart & Tangy sets  and  Summer picnic DS paper  we all got ..  Gotta love  a house filled with all kinds of new goodies, even if it was  for a day ..

For my  card I was playing this weekend and  was throwing  some  different  colored CS together  that I rarely use and TA DA!!!  I think it looks  pretty spiffy  HUH?  The colors  are  Night of Navy , Really  Rust and More Mustard ( Who would have thought? ). The  stamp set is  a hostess ONLY set called INFINITE GOODNESS level 2.

Hey~ Did you notice~ NO  white gel pen and NO  glitter .. Now that's amazing HUH?

OH MY!!!

Look what happened to me on the way home from dropping Jessie off at school today .. It  looks bad But  It's all  going to be ok. Praise  God no one was  hurt  and  My Insurance   company will be paying for the 1,300.00  worth of damage  and It was NOT my  fault ... We live  between  2 schools  one on  each  end of our street  and for  some  reason  the  parents  at the elem. school  park their  cars  on both sides of the street  which they are NOT to do .. while I was  passing   the truck which was parked Illegally her son  swung open the  back  driver side  door  really fast to get out to go into school and well you  can see what happened next right ..  Just praising God  it wasn't worse . I will be taking my  car in next week to be fixed  and make it look like new..  sooo while my  car gets  a face lift, me and a rental car have a date next week  for 3-5 days while they replace the  front  fender , fix my  door  and  put a new mirror on .

What's Up?

What's Up! ~ Or  should I have wrote  it the way Jessie says it ~  SSSSSUP! :-)

NSR  today girls .. Just getting  ready for  the  videos this week wink wink !! So today I thought I  would share a  little  about  whats going on in our neck of the woods .. Plus  share a New  hairdo  that Bowzer has  Hee! Hee!

This past Monday I called and got appointment's  for Jessie.

#1.  To have her 4 wisdom teeth pulled YUCK!  Its looking  like the end of May  for  that to happen  since she will be out of school  then for the summer ..

Then #2 appointment ~ Brace yourself Jessie  will be starting  driving training  June 13th  I am in a wee  bit of  shock that we would be  approaching  such a   wonderful day in my  Daughters  life already  .. Where oh where has the time  gone .. The  really  cool thing is that her last day of Phase 1 will be  on the day her dad comes  home  for R & R. SOOO  I guess you  can say  Him & I will have a  Chauffeur alot of the time when   he is home ..( Its been a long time  since I sat in the back seat with my hubby ( kwim? ) I am  so excited for her  But  Not as excited as she is of course .. Now the wisdom teeth being  removed   thats another story.

By the way she doesn't  wear glasses  she  got these at Claire's  in the Mall  she has a thing  for  glasses, Like her  mom does about Hats I suppose :-)

#3 Then last night Rich & I decided  that we would   cash in our  resort points which are going to expire  in 2 weeks ( WHEW did that in the nick of time )  for  (3) 4 -day hooper  tickets to Disney  YAHOO !! I feel a  Florida  vacation  coming  in the near future....:-)

Is this the cutest  thing or what .. Here is Bowzer  with the Pirate  hairdo Hee! Hee! ..  You can pimp your pooch(  or cat  I suppose)  HERE  can't wait to see what your  fury friends look like .. Will you pick the Jessica, Ashton , Donald trump or  another one  that they have listed over there  ( Bowzer is a Pirate ).. Its to  fun! Jessie and I would have  done PINK but Bowzer is a Boy  you know :-) and Johnny Depp is a hottie , So I guess this makes Bowzer a "Hot" Dog.. Hee! Hee!

Thinking of you ..

I  was playing  this weekend  and I made this cute & very simple  card using the ONE OF A KIND  stamp set  along with  the  rub ons from SAB and with the Fabulous BOHO punch and ticket corner punch . I Then added  some celery Ds paper  and celery  GG ribbon  and  did  alittle  paper piercing  along the  top of the  whisper white& bottom of  celery DS paper,  then  added a couple  silver brads .. Cardstock colors  for base and layers are Groovy Guava, Purely pomegranate. I think this just may be one of my  SAS cards .. I'm still  thinking on it though ..

Happy Monday Stampers !

Hi Stampers:

Hope your weekend was fabulous !  I just love this card .. actually my  club girls  were the 1st to see it  YAHOO! I seen THIS card  and  Had to make one myself .. Of course it is  using  the  orange  from the TART & TANGY stamp set ( again ) Isn't  this the cuttest thing  you  ever  seen .. I added a  extra  little  accessory to mine, which you can see better in the upclose photo.I hand drew the watermelon seeds  with my  Black Marker  then added  Crystal effects  to them .. really makes them POP If you KWIM ?( Know what I mean )  and seems  so life like  IMHO ( in my humble opinon) . I just love the SPRIAL punch & my  cuttlebug  with the Green galore Card stock . I added  black and white doodle  dots & 2 Black Vintage brads .. The greeting  is from a  stamp set that retired a fews  years  back  called FRUITY PHRASES   This set will  forever be in my  collection   and so happy it is  since  it  goes so  Fabulous with this card ...Don't  you think  ?

Happy Sunday stampers !

Today I thought I would share  a couple photos  from my  club night  Friday  along with  the couple photos of  what was happening outside .. Here is our  Hostess Kristin  with her hostess  cards I made her.. ( I used the SUMMER PICNIC DS paper  along with BIG BOLD BIRTHDAY stamp set  OOO and look at the new STRIPED Bashful blue GG ribbon too ) OH my  goodness Kristin  brought  us such  awesome goodies to eat & MY favorite was Kristin's Chicken Spaghetti YUMM-O!! .Here are a couple upclose photos of  Kristin's cards I made her . We had our Club meeting  at my moms home  this month  and  since it   stormed outside   everyone was saying we  should have been at my house in the basement  :-) 1st Tornado  watch until 9:00pm , then the sky was  doing freaky things  then the  down pour of Rain  and then Hail .. Gee whiz it  was such a weird storm,  But nothing  could keep us stampers from having a Great time .. My club girls are a Great bunch of  women. I had a Request for  my Stamp-a-stack event  in May so I will get started working on  that event .. Will keep you posted girls  when  this  fun night  SO if YOU want to come  and join the fun with us in Pontiac  Michigan you can . I will share sneak peeks of the  cards we will be making in the upcoming weeks :-)

Happy Mail Day ...

Happy Mail day  again girls .. YAHOO!! Oh my goodness 3 posts in one day. I received  these  beautiful goodies this past week  and wanted to share  with you  what showed up in my mail  box .  1st goodies I  recieved  are from  Jolie ..  A Bead magazine  and a Christian  CD ( which  is sooo awesome  too  I feel like a  stampin  with Dawn Video  coming  up with  one  of those songs )  and  she made this adorable  card  with a  extra  sweet note inside .. all wrapped up in a  sweet  pouch made to match her card . Next I was angel tagged By KAREN  I am  suppose to  share a few things about myself

1. Growing up  I was a  Big time nail bitter , Then  went to beauty school  wore acrylic nails  for over 25 years Yup can you  believe it ? I know  HUH? I wore them and I am in shock )    within the last 1year or so I broke free of the fake nails  and  have my own Real ones YAHOO!!

2.Hubby  is coming home  for  20 days  July 2nd YAHOO!!!

3. I am Planning  on going to Convention  this year  DOUBLE YAHOO!! .. I would love to hear if your planning on  going too :-) 

4. Did you know I have the  very top of my  left ear pierced ? YUP! had that  since I was 18 ..  This is one thing I did  do  when I was younger that  I don't regret ( yet anyway... Ask me when I am 80 my answer my be different )

5. Most of you  already now this  so I guess this would be  for my  Brand new  blog buddies .. I have had both knees  replaced .. 1st knee was done  Nov 5th 2005. The  latest one  was done last May 10th, 2007 (can you  believe it is almost  1 year since  the last one ).. Check out the photo  stampers .. Pop up card tutorial ~ With Dawn

Howdy Stampers ..

Time  for  new video tutorial .. YAHOO!!

This time  we will be making this pop up card . Super cute  and OH so much fun to make  and to give . I  am using the  JUST "B"  stamp set  for my pop up  so lets  go play shall we .. Click  on over to my STAMPIN STUDIO and lets get started. OH boy  our  club night  was  super fun  as usual, We also were under a  Tornado  watch until 9:00pm  and  the sky was doing funny things  and then it  Rained ,then we got a bunch of  hailed    which I  had Jessie  take  some photos  of the events outside ..  But  hey who really cares whats going on outside when there is  Stampin  going on  right ? :-)   I need to clean up my stampin room  and do  a few errands  and then hit the gym . Double candy wrapper~ Video

#1 Candy Purse ~ Video

When I seen my friend DAWN's candy Purse I just fell in love with it and of course Dawn is the sweetest gal around PLUS she is one of my local blogger friends I have had to pleasure to hang out with at the SCS Michigan event click HERE to view those photos again if you wish . This purse is soooo stinkin cute I just love it .. I asked Dawn if she would mind If I did a video tutorial on her purse . and well Stampers today is the day.. Of course I had to use the TART & TANGY stamp set and SUMMER PICNIC DS paper again ( Sure hope you not getting sick of seeing me use these goodies ) but thats what is sooo fabulous about stampin cause you can use any Stamp sets / designer paper you like for yours Can I hear a WHO HOO!!

Another book marker

  I made this book marker for my hubby. I think it  turned out  really  nice . I used  the IN THE STARS  stamp set  along with the  sayings  from the ALWAYS stamp set . Happy Monday Stampers ...

  HOLY MOLY  look what I  found  at my  local $1  store . This adorable calculator that has 4 inter changable  covers  . But I of course didn't  like  any of those  they came  with so I made  my own with one of the templates  they give you   I used the  SUMMER PICNIC Designer paper  for my  new  face plate  cover ..  cute huh?  Can't beat that for a $1..
