  I  thought I  would share a few of the Swaps  I made  to take to convention.  Here are just a few of the Tea Bag Holders I made  for swaps .. Super  easy and OH so cute ..Especially  with the new Bella Rose Designer paper.  I used the 5 petal  flower punch along with Flower fusion  and a  silver brad  for the  front of my  holders . Hi Stampers: 

  Well today is the BIG day!!  Convention is on  its way and I am sooo excited  . I have this  paper wallet video  for you  today But sorry to say  this will be the only  video  for this week since I am  away from my  PC .. BUT   Hey good news  Jessie  gave me  her lap top to use  while  at convention  and  got my  camera  so  you  now what  that means .. CONVENTION PHOTOS OH yea ..

Ok on to my video for this week  .. Its the paper wallet . I learned  this at the Lansing  Regionals  If I remember  right it was Linda Hanson  that showed us this ..  Love her :-)  she was actaully the one that picked me to  go on stage and play Family fued at reginals too . Ok  got alittle  side tracked, anyway todays  project I will be using  the Bella Rose  and  the Dreams Du Jour  stamp set  so click on Over to my STAMPIN STUDIO and check it out . This mini wallet can hold  money  photos  anything  small  that you  can think of .. 

P.S  Something  "Major" that happened  in the Griffith household  is  Jessie has her 1st boyfriend It became offical last night  His name is  Josh  :-) .. OH yea  and Bowzer got  sprayed by a skunk  too .. Joy Joy

Some convention swaps ....

Hi Stampers:

Here are  some of my   swaps  for  convention   OH  my  goodness  Let the FUN begin .  These swaps  are  using the new  Bella Rose  Designer paper  and whisper white is the base. For this Card  design   you  will find  a Video I did HERE  such a Cute card. I also used the Brand new  "Wow" Flowers  stamp set  and the  Dreams  Du Jour  stamp set . Boy  do I need more of this designer paper .. LOVE IT!!

I am leaving out  early  tomorrow morning  I have  blog posts  ready to  go  for the rest of the  week BUT  sorry to say no  Videos on  my usual Thurs , Fri &  Saturday    since  I have to be  at my  PC  to upload the  videos  from my  computer .. BUT  I do have a  video for you  tomorrow ( Wednesday ) so stay tuned for that . Plus  Jessie is letting me  use her  laptop  while  at convention :-) Can you  believe it .. a  young  girl can live w/o her laptop...  so we shall see what I can do with that  this week  ..

Happy Monday ...

Hi Stampers:

OH my  goodness   just 2 more  days until Convention starts  I am sooooo excited . I have been busy making  swaps all weekend  long since  Jessie  went  away for the weekend  with a friend  and  I had  all weekend  to stamp . I Got  alot  done  But  I always seem to  get off track  when I start  making  my  swaps  so I have a Bunch of  different items   that I will be sharing with you  all week long .  Todays project is  what I am  taking  for   a  group of us  for  a M&T ( Make & Take) get together  in our hotel room ~ There  will be at least 9-10 girls   so here is my  M&T . Here is everything  cut and ready to go ..

I needed  something  simple that didn't  require alot of  items  to be taken  since my  suitcase  will be  packed  with all kinds of  other goodies . Just love this new "IN color" called Pink Pirouette such a  pretty light  shade of pink . Click HERE for  the  Video on how to make this  envelope card .. I just added the  word window  punch out  and stamped  birthday wishes  with Going gray inside that  area , I also used the new Scallop edge punch  on mine as well. The  above video link  gives you  the basic  card  ... I have  alot more of this card style already made for swaps  ( just in a  different  color  and different  stamp set )

Hi Stampers :

 I have  got a  extra treat for you  stampers  today  I have  been asked why I haven't  done a Stampin  Music Video lately .. HUMM I  really haven't thought  about  doing one in awhile . But  since  alot of you  have been asking me this, I figured Why not  do one  and well todays the day . I have also  heard  from  some of you  that you like to  hear my  voice  in my  videos ..  When I 1st started  making the music  videos  It was just  a change of  pace  and something  fun  for me  since it VERY rare I don't  talk  while stamping ( yes even to myself hee!hee! )  so the music  videos  were just fun and  alittle different and  actually they are  alittle harder   for me to make  since I love to talk .  Its  kinda like  being in  church and  Not  singing  during the Praise  & Worship ( Very hard )

I am soo happy to hear  that alot of you  have actually missed  them . So I will see  if I can  do a music  video  every so often .. Dont  worry  they won't replace my  chatty ones  :-)  Usually my  Music  videos  are Just  really  fun projects  that  don't really  require alot of chatting  anyway ..

 So  for my  Sunday share  I  will like to  present  to you  the Matching card & Envelope  video  with the Bee Gees  in the background . Ya  know the Bee Gees and Elvis  are  my  favorites  to stamp to in  these type of  videos  But my  collection  is  running out  at least of my  favorite  songs  by these guys  :-(  So sad  huh?maybe Hubby  CD collection  will do .. I see some CCR , Kansas, E L O ,  HUMMMM Those  sound good  right ?

 I so wish I had a  Cd of KC and the  Sunshine band  Ok I am dating myself  I know .. Ok how  about the  Village people  LOL!! anything  upbeat  and  from the 70's   ya know ? Where OH  Where  do I find these CD's ?  Anyway  I picked this  song "Night  fever " by the Bee Gees  since it  is my  most favorite  time to stamp is at Night  and well If I am on a roll  I may  bust out in a Fever  :-)  Ok TMI ( to much information ) I know

Todays  video I will show you how to make  this paper photo album . I am using the  Always  Stamp set  with the  Riding hood red Card stock and the Bella rose  Designer paper .. I  also highlight the  Brand new Scallop edge  punch ( Fabulous )  I also  used White taffeta  ribbon & 4 clear envelopes.

Fun Times ...

Hi Stampers :

I  still don't have  anything  stamping related yet  But wanted to share  this video of  the fun times  we all had with Hubby while he  has been home . I wanted to get this posted before  my weekly  stampin  videos  start tomorrow . 

 I also wanted to share Jessie's  new hair color/s I colored her hair this past  Monday . It  actually is a dark dark brown but  in these photos  It looks  black .. she also wanted me to add RED  to the underneath also  and I just love it and the best part is she does too YAHOO!!

The one  photo of her  with her dad is when she  straightened  his hair   Yes I have a video on that as well But  will spare you  the  details on that ~ way to funny ..   Below I  uploaded this 4 Min  video of photos  that were taken  while Hubby  has been home . The photos  are  set to music  with Tim McGraw "A real good man "   

Sad Day turned Happy!!!

Hi Stampers:

 You all are not  going to believe it .. I know cause it  hard for me to believe ... We  took hubby to the airport yesterday   said our  good byes  and  cried, Then Jessie and I came home  and  not even 20 mins after We got home hubby called and said his flight was delayed.. YAHOO  extra night .. But  when you  think back   We gained the day that we lost  when he was delayed in Baghdad due to the sand storm .. God is sooo AWESOME!!  His flight is planning on  leaving later this evening  SORRY nothing  stampin  related  today.. I just wanted to  share with you  all that  I  Got my honey bunch  for a extra day . After  4 hours in the  car yesterday making 2 trips to the airport   I must say  it was the best 4 hours of travel / traffic  ever .

I will "TRY" and be back later today and  share  something  stamping  related ... I will try !!

Tiny book for Hubby ...

Hi Stampers:

 I made this tiny  book last night for my hubby to take back with him today   It has Just a  few photos of our time together. I  don't know why the photos on this  book do not photograph very good  But you  will see  them again in a  short video I  will share later .. 

The Tangerine Tango card stock all measure

3 1/2' X 3 1/2" .

The Bella Rose designer paper measures 

3 1/4" X 3 1/4"

I also used the scallop edge punch in Whisper white and Tangerine Tango I also used White Taffeta  Ribbon  about 12-14"  to  hold all the  pages together..

I 1st laid the 1st set of 4 pieces of card stock ( Tangerine Tango )  down and spaced them about 1/4" apart apply  adhesive  to all 4 the back sides  then laid the taffeta  ribbon  down the middle of  all 4  pieces  then  lined up the remaining 4  pieces of card stock and adhered  them all together..

The box I'm sharing today~ I did  the same thing HERE. I just used the  three for  you punch and the  stamp set  is called  LOVELY LABELS  and I also used the  Family phrases  and Sprinkles  for the background. I used the  tempting turq and Chocolate chip Card stock  with the 3/16 corner  rounder  punch for the  scallop  border .. I didn't have the scallop edge punch  when I made this box .. Speaking  of the new  Scallop edge punch I have a  video all lined  up  with me using  for that fabulous punch  with a cute  project ...Stay tuned ...

Attack of Mr. Crabby Pants ....

Hi Stampers:

Here is MR Crabby Pants in all his Glory and  showing off a bit  cause He knows he is sooo stinkin cute !!  .. Here is another fabulous View master card  Which you  can view the video HERE on how to make one  for yourself .. Hopefully you have Mr. Crabby pants   cause this set is Just PERFECT  for  this type of  card .. So what are you waiting for  CONTACT ME if you want to add  him to your collection ( You will be  soooo happy  you  did  and so will Mr Crabs).   No outlining  necessary  since the images are  smaller  to fit in the 1 1/4" circle punch out.  I used  Certainly Celery designer paper  and Certainly Celery, Whisper white  & Apriot Appeal & Orchid Opluence  Cardstock along with The same  colors in my SU! markers  Had to  add  some googly  eyes ( of course  whats Mr. Crabs  w/o Googly  eyes  right ?)  This  has been sent in to SU!  for the monthly  contest.

The past few weeks have been sooo awesome  with my honey bunch  thought  I  would  do My Sunday  share  today  with  this photo of me and my hubby. He is such a wonderful man.  I think of the Tim Mcgraw  song " A real good man "   He  really  isn't a "Bad Boy " But he is a Really  wonderful  Man.  I am hoping to put together  some photos  to this song soon . Since hubby has been growing out his Hair, I must admit I think he looks like Jesus. Of  Course I have never seen Jesus  IRL ( Human  form  that is ) only in movies  and photos  But seriously  a few have mentioned this to him since he has been home  so funny huh?

Dry Embossing with Dawn

Todays  video highlights Dry Embossing. I  still remember the 1st time I  learned  Dry embossing , I thought it was the  bestest thing  ever ( watch out Hallmark hee! hee! ) Dry  embossing has   been one of my favorite ways to add something very  delicate to any project.  Dry Embossing is always a WOW  technique ~ at least it is to me . 2-4-6-8 Mini treat box

Hi Stampers:

Todays Video I will show you how I made a mini treat box .For my  sample in the photo I used the Brand new  Scallop Edge punch and the KIWI KISS  card stock along with the Bella  Rose designer paper .... The  video just shows you how to make this basic treat box (w/ Tangerine Tango card stock)  so my  sample in the photo I added a handle  and  some  designer paper to mine ..  you  can get the measurement  for the  designer paper  and the handle   along with the Video  by jumping on over to my STAMPIN STUDIO

P.S We didn't  end up going to the concert last night. We stayed longer at the waterpark and then  went out  for  pizza  at Pizza Hut  PLUS we all got  to much sun...  Also My mom  was in a  accident  Wednesday night  She is ok  ( Thank God) Its her  truck that is in pretty bad shape  and  will not  start  so  after we got home  Last night Rich started  putting new brake pads on his Truck so Mom  can drive that while her  truck gets worked on.

File in the Middle card

Mr Crabby pants is  still alive ...

Today's Video I will  show you how to make the File in the middle  card  This time  using Mr crabby pants .. He is soooo CUTE!!  I also have a written  Tutorial  for this Card HERE using the UNFROGGETABLE stamp set . 

 For  some  reason Mr Crabs gets me  giggly  while shooting this video ..  I  guess its  due to his Charming personality  :-)

Happiness Always ...

Hi Stampers:

I got new goodies for you  again today .. Here is the  Brand  new Level 3 Hostess set called  HAPPINESS ALWAYS  It  has 14 stamps in  this set.  The  flowers and  saying  on  this card are all in this  set along with  Butterfly , leaf , stem and more which all are fabulous  is this 2 step stampin set .  When I seen the flowers in this stamp set  I immediately  thought of  my  favorite  flower  The Black Eyed Susan I Love them but the   sad thing Hubby  doesn't Boo! Hoo!  so I guess I  will settle for  this card  Hee! Hee!

For my  flowers I did the ROCK -N-ROLLtechnique  with More Mustard and  Pumpkin pie. I got to use my  Jumbo eyelets  with my Crop-a-dile  card stock  colors I used  are

More Mustard, Pumpkin  Pie, Always artichoke, Chocolate chip  with Whisper white. Just a simple card  showing off one of my new stamp sets .

Hey guess what we are doing tomorrow ? We are going to the Water park   all day and then the BEST part We  are all going to see Michael W. Smith PLUS  Steven Curtis Chapman  in  concert  tomorrow night YAHOO!!  I am sooo excited  and  whats even better is a few of our  church youth group , Steve  & Linda   and Of course Hubby and I  are all going together YAHOO!!  .. I will have to share  all the excitement  with you all  later hopefully  with lots of Photos OH YEA!!

NEW goodies / PLUS DVD #6 Announcement ...

 I finally  got to play with my  new Stampin'Up! goodies I pre ordered .. So many FABULOUS things ! I thought  I would share this card  Once again It is the explosion card Click  HERE for  the  video tutorial  on this cute card . I used the  Brand new set  called  WOW FLOWERS   along with the  Brand new IN color PACIFIC POINT  Oh this color is sooo wonderful .. It is Just an amazing blue ..  When I look at  this card  It makes me think its Retro .  love it . I  used my  versa mark  ink pad and  clear embossing  for my images .. along with whisper white card stock and my  white gel pen  to  add doodle  dots and  fill in the  circles  to my  flower burst that has been embossed

Another View Master card ..

Hi Stampers :

As you  can see I am totally addicted  to making this type of card .. Just love it .. Todays VIEW MASTER Card I used the Tart & Tangy  stamp set ( No longer  available~ at least  for now~  Maybe it  will be in the new catalog come August .. I sure Hope so )  anyway I used the retangle  hand held punch  and punched out the  orange  slices  so the  Summer picnic  ds paper will show through this time ..  Just love this set and  all the  matching  goodies  ( Summer  Picnic & One  smart cookie ) I used  The scallop punch , Rhinestone brad , White gel pen , Lg & Sm Oval punch  with Only orange ,Whisper white & Purely Pomegranate  card  stock  speaking of  which  Purely Pomegranate  and all the other IN colors will be  gone in  Just a  few short weeks  CONTACT ME  today to  get your current  In colors ( card stock , Ink pads  & Re inkers )  before that are long  gone

Happy Sunday ..

Hi Stampers:

Look what I got  from my Hubby yesterday . Such BEAUTIFUL Pink and red roses.  This Aug 31st we will celebrate our 20th  Wedding Anniversary BUT he  got me  24  roses  WOWZIE!!.. Our date night/ anniversary was super .. We  celebrated  early  since he wont be here in Aug.  What a Great time we had  and It actually  ended up being a Date Day & Night  since Jessie  went to her friends  house  early in the morning  so that left  us  to do what ever  we wanted all day long  :-)

P.S Thank you  Brenda  for your  sweet treat  We enjoyed every  delicious  Bite ..

 What a week  we  had .. VBS is such a Blast and it  goes by soooo Fast  and  this year was no different .. This year Pastor  Brad  told the kids if they raised  $250.00 for  school supplies for Children  in West Africa   he would  wear a Grass  Skirt and Coconut bra  and even  dance  with them  in front of everyone  on Family night ( Friday)  and Guess what ?The kids  raised that amount Plus more  so You know what that means HUH? Hee! Hee!

  We are Going to be  showing this video ( different  version)  during  our morning service at church.   What a Sport Pastor  Brad is .. BUT of  course  He  doesn't make a Regular  entrance   he   goes  kicking  and screaming  and  MY  hubby  had to carry him  to the front ..

Check out the video  Its just over 5 1/2 Min's  long  I  am sure you  will get a kick out of  it  and all those adorable  little faces singing and dancing  ... The video is NOT the best But you  get the idea ..

Happy mail ...

Hi Stampers :

OH boy  I have received  some  fabulous goodies  in my mail box this past week   and one  was hand delivered today  Thank you   girls  soo much for  making me  smile .I have to post the  hand  delivered one  1st ONLY because I  am ready to bust at the seams  Brenda  and I had  been emailing the last day or  so I wont  go into details  But  she mentioned if she  remembered her when she  called me  awhile back HELLOOOO Yes of  course  I remember.. she said  she was  going to send me  something.  OH my  goodness  Is her  surprise  awesome or  what .. and talk about perfect timing   Since Hubby and I are having "Alone" time tomorrow  and all  we need now is  melted chocolate  and  we are  all set  wink wink ..  We both will get  ALOT of pleasure  from Brenda's  gift.. and look at her sweet note she added.. Thank you  so much Brenda  hubby and I have never  seen  sure a  wonderful  Edible gift  like your  fruit  arrangement  and here I thought it was my UPS guy at the  door  with my new  goodies Hee! Hee!  I must say  this  is  WAY better than  any stamps .. NO seriously  and I will spare you  the details  after  tomorrow .. wink wink!!Thank you  Brenda

This beautiful card was in my  mail  box  and  Mary  is such a sweetie pie    I think your a  Jewel  too girlie ..  Mary  sent me this card  that she made right  along with me  and the video I did on this card ..  what a  awesome card .. I  sure love moving  and pop up cards But you  all already know that HUH? Thank you  Mary  for  brighting my  day  with your  adorable  card ...

Next super  sweet card  is  from my  dear friend  JEN YOUNG Oh my  goodness .. she  even sent me a Hawaii Scissor  charm  YAHOO! I  had to add it to my  scissors  right away and It is soooo awesome  cause  guess what  Not only  cause she made it of course BUT it is PURPLE with Purple  gem stones on the flip flop ..OH my  goodness   I love it Jen .. Thank you  so much for the sweet  super  cute card  ( with Purple  also I might add )  You  will be  thought of every time I use my  scissors  GF!! Thank you  so much

The next  beautiful card is from  Linda. She  sent  me this beauty  and her sweet note  about  the cards  she got  from my Stamp a stack ..  and a  sweet side note to enjoy my hubby as well . Such a  beautiful card  girlie  Love those colors  together  and the celery  ribbon  really looks awesome  with the color combo  she also used one of my favorite sets " Infinite Goodness " Love those  blueberries  :-) Hey girlie I love the greeting you used "Elegant Cheer"Don't have this set yet BUT I think it will be on my next order ( Love it ) ..Thank you  so Much Linda  I love your  card sweetie ..

Family Update & More  :

OH boy what a week  My In laws left on Tuesday and   we have had VBS all week long  WHEW I am sooo pooped.. TGIF thats for  sure . Thank you  for all your  sweet emails and  comments  while I was  away  from my  blog  for a wee bit.  I'm Still catching up   with hubby and  checking off his honey do list  Hee! Hee! My F-I-L and My Honey bunch   put new  brakes on my  car Very thankful  for that . I'm also Very thankful  I have my  hubby  for  another week  seems like  the  1st week 1/2  were  so busy doing other things. We are planing  some time alone  this weekend  looking forward to that ..  I also pre ordered  all my  Fall & Winter catalogs  yesterday  so if your on my list  of pre orders  yours  has been ordered  as well . I expect  my Pre order of new stampin goodies  today  well ~ at least the  1st shipment of goodies  I have more coming  next week   sooo excited about all the  wonderful  New  goodies  that will be in the new catalog . Goofy stuff

 I  made this card using the  simple pin wheel  template  which you  can find HERE  But on a smaller scale,

This one on my card  measurements 2 1/2" X 2 1/2 " sq . I used Jersey shore  and  also Wild Wasabi  card stock  along with the  happy  Birthday  greeting from  BIG  BIRTHDAY CANDLE with the SMARTY PANTS  Stamp set  My pin wheel stick is  just hemp  twine.

My Love ...

Hi Stampers :

 Here is the card I gave my honey bunch for Fathers day  along  with a couple  gifts when he got home . I realize  the card may be alittle   girlish  But  Its the saying that  means so much  from me to him .. I used the  ALWAYS stamp set  along  with  Vellum cardstock  for the saying and Groovy Guava  card stock  and Lets not  forget the  Pretties  kit. I sure do  Love all the goodies in

this  fabulous  kit .. I used the aqua painter to  color the  flower with Groovy Guava  classic ink, Then added a  rhinestone brad  to the center of the flower .Everything on the pin is from the Pretties kit . You can click on the smaller photo to enlarge  the  saying  if you like .

Applebees Inspiration

Hi Stampers:

Thank you  so much for your emails  and  comments  I am unable to  spend much  time on my computer due to my In -laws are sleeping in my  computer  room  But Just know every chance I get I try and sneak in  here and  at least read them . Thank you  so much . Todays  card was inspired by  this cup I got at Applebees  awhile  ago. Just  love the colors Pink passion , Green Galore, and Only Orange. I also used the  JUST "B" stamp set  for my  card .  Tonight we start our VBS ( vacation Bible  school)   6pm-9pm  gonna  be sooo much FUN!! Can't wait !

 Remember me posting last week when I went over my   friend Debs  house and had  some stampin fun  well  this is one of the few cards we made.  OH my  goodness I was sooo excited, I came home and had to film the video ASAP  so I  wouldn't  forget how to do it .. Hee! Hee!  Thanks  again D.. I sure do  love this  card  & I think you all will  also!!! P.S I am making swaps  with this card design for  convention  Look me up. I  plan on making  a few  with Brand new goodies  from the new catalog   which should arrive in about a week .. This adorable  card is  Really  simple and packs in alot of the  "WOW" factor. ( you know me  with Moving  and pop up cards  right ?

Its offical Jessie  has her level 1 license  and here  she is to prove it  Hee! Hee! (removed  some info  from her license in case you  were  wondering ~  I can't believe they put her SS # on there )  and  this was her 1st  drive  since  getting her level 1 license ..  and By the way Yes we made it to church in one piece  Hee! Hee!.
