It's trick or treat time at my local post office ..

Just  wanted to share  my  favoritest Post office girls  Halloween  photos with you .. NO I don't  always carry my camera around with me ( even though I  probably  should ) Hee! Hee! 

  Cheryl  aka Raggedy Ann told us last night at our  40 days of purpose  meeting that  they were dressing  up today  and of course I have a bunch of goodies  to send out  so I grabbed my  camera  as I  went out the door .

Here  they are in all their glory .. Dont  you love  dressing up .. and WOWZIE look at Marys  make up .. It  totally ROCKS!!!

I posted last week HERE that I was  looking for Debbie Schlink  and  well Now you  can see why HUH?

She sent me these 2 adorable cards  last week and   she didn't  put her  email / ph number on them for me to contact her ..

OH MY GOSH  her cards are  sooo stinkin  awesome~  even better IRL ( In Real Life ).  Ok  Stampin friends lets all oooohhh and aaaahhhh over Debbie's cards  I know  she  would love to know I am not the ONLY one  that is  sooo freaking out over her cards .. so  leave  some love  for her below  in my  comment  area   since I am sure  she will be  curious  to know I am not the only   one that loves her cards . 

 Debbie  mentioned  when I  got to chat with her  on the phone that she checks  my  blog every day  so  that means  see  will be able  to read what you  all think about her  aborable  cards also . She already knows how much I love them .

Snowflakes are falling ...

  Hi Stampers:

No Snowflakes  are not actually  falling here in Michigan   But I  think we may get some flurries  this week  from what our Weather man says ..

I just love our new  Felt  Flurries

I used  both sizes  on my  card today . They are in  the Holiday Mini HERE  look at  them on page 18 Just  perfect  for  your holiday projects .. I  made mine sparkle  with Dazzling  Diamonds  all I did was take the 2 way glue pen # 100425 and  run it  across  the felt snowflakes  and then sprinkled  Dazzling diamonds #102023  on them .. WOWZIE Lots of  sparkle HUH? 

 I also added a  Filagee Brad # 112577  to the center of one of them and  silver brads # 104336 to  the other 2 . I also used the  Ski Slope Designer paper # 112994 which is also in the Holiday mini on page 12 . The Merry Christmas Greeting is  from the  Christmas Classic Stamp set # 111566 Stamped in Basic Brown  classic ink # 104315 

I had a  situation happen to me last week.

 I lost my  debit  card  BUT I didnt  realize it  until the next day  when I was out  an about  I stopped to get gas  and NO debit card .. HUMMMMM  Now where  could that be ?  I was  going to check  for it when I returned  home BUT my honey bunch called  and I kinda  forgot  about checking .. well  I was  then  checking my  bank statement  and  low and below  someone used my  Debit card for 5 purchases   they had a Great time  at  different gas stations  in Dearborn , Garden city  and Detroit  all with in 1 hour   so My thought  was they  we having a good time   filling   up  their friends  cars also.  anywho to make a long  story short I called my  bank  stopped  payment  and  they sent  the  withdraws  that were not mine  to the  fraud  dept  & I got all my money  back in my  account  the next day PRAISE GOD!!  Dawns Moral of the story .. Keep  your  debit card  in a  safe place next time.

 Here  are Jessie's invites for her  16th  birthday party   .. I still need  to make like 8 more  But  at least I got a head start on them .. She wanted Tempting   Turq  and Green Galore  I also used the  So Very stamp set from Sale A Bration  2007  I also used the   Please come stamp set # 109280   and the ~16 ~ stamp comes  from the Calendar Alphabet & numbers # 111610  I also  used the crop a dile  on  her invites  on the Rainbow Serbert designer paper  #112471

 

  I got this photo of my hubby yesterday .. OH  boy  he  really  looks like  Grizzly Adams  now  with the full  beard  He is sooo cute .. I am sooo excited  he will be home in 26 days  for 2 weeks  .. maybe  he  will let me  cut that beard .. either way he is  sooo Good lookin !

Mini Chocolate bar holder ...

  Hi Stampers:

 Todays project is  this Mini Chocolate candy bar holder . It is  sooo stinkin cute  I couldn't wait  to have all my  Stampin queens make this at my HAP event this past weekend . I got  a swap  simular to this  at convention  from Debi Calandrelle in MD ( Thank you  girlie ) BUT I re- vamped the measurements so it sits a little better. I took this photo  to show  you  what I mean .

Freaking out !!

Yes I did  say I am Freaking out .. Want  to know why ?  Cause of this adorable card  Landa Cartwright  sent me . Is this the  cutest thing you ever seen? Oh my goodness  I got this in the mail  this past Saturday and I took it to my HAP party and  all my Stampin queens  were freaking over  him also ..

Oh Landa  your card is  soo AWESOME!!   She  used the Curly Label Punch # 112966  for  her Frankie Jr. ATC card ..

What is a ATC  card ? a small   Artist  Trading Card  is usually  the size of a  business card maybe a little bigger ( So don't let this photo fool you  this  card is small. Stampers  love ATC  size cards  since they  are  such a  awesome way to showcase  a  technique  or  idea  without using  alot of cardstock & Landa's ATC card is a perfect example  of how she  used  her card  to showcase  her  little Frankie  .

He  adorable card Makes me  want to purchase the Curly  Label punch bundle # 112966  like yesterday ! Thank you   girlie for making my day.

I was  having  so much fun and laughing all by myself  with this  set Just Jawing # 111660.  When I made this card I  Just had to make a  quick  video to show you how I made his doo rag and have  you share in my  giggle time .. By the  way ~You  all know what a Doo rag is  right ?.. OH my  I love it when my honey bunch when he  wears his ..  Which by the way he will be  coming home in 31 days  YAHOO!!!  any who sorry I  got off  track a wee little bit .

Maybe thats why I  am laughing  so much  when I was making this video  so please excuse  me  while I  have a  little laugh time . Another Christmas card

  Hi Stampers:

Yupper  I have  another Christmas  card for you  today . I used  the  same idea  as my  card  from this past  Friday HERE. This  time I turned  the  card on its side  and  I used the Snow swirled  stamp set  # 111690

I also used 

Whisper White  card stock #100730 

 along with 

 Sage shadow card stock 101563 

 &  Sage shadow classic ink  # 102532. 

I also used the scallop punch # 109043 ,

 1 3/8 circle punch # 104401 ,

 1 1/4 circle punch #104403

 and  the 1/2" circle punch # 104390  

Then to make  it really   sparkle  add some fabulous Dazzling diamonds # 102023 on all the snowflakes . Then popped  them all up on  Dimensionals # # 104430

Sunday Share 10-19-08 / HAP 2008

Hi Stampers:

We had an Awesome time at my H.A.P  last night ..  Alot of my  Stampin Queens  have been with me  from the very begining  & Even though we are different in many ways  One thing  is for  sure is that  I love each of them  and I am so very  Blessed  that they  are  letting me  be a part of their life.  The group photo  here is the  one I will print out  and mail  to  my  stampin queens  for all their  6x6 pages we made last night also .  3 Hostess awards were handed out  for top sales  and  they each won  a Stack & Store . played  a couple games  with prizes  Nothing huge in the game deptartment  as past years( we had lots of M&Ts  instead )   But  winners won  a paper pack,  glue sticks, packs of  Dimensionals.

One game  had a post it note  under  chairs  the one sitting there  won a prize. Like I said  nothing  really  hard  for  anyone  to  do  But its  still fun  winning  SU goodies  right ?

Hawaiian was  the themethis year  and we had  Hawaiian pizza ( Ham , Bacon and pineapple ) Yummy . With bread  and  a  cute pineapple arrangement for dessert  that  I bought before hand at  Edible Arrangements  ever  since I  got this one  from my  dear Blogger friend Brenda  when My hubby was  home the last  time   HERE . I just love  this company  so I knew I wanted to treat my  girls  to  one  as well . All projects  for  my 5  M&T's  used the Hawaiian  Papaya Designer paper # 112460   also. 

Big hugs   to Jessie and Chelsea  for helping me  decorate  and  Big hugs  to Laura and my Mom  for helping me clean up ..

We had 9 stamping queens there with my  other 9  stampin queens  unable  to attend  Boo Hoo! due to previous ps  or being  sick .  Maybe next year we can get everyone  there Cause it is sooo much more fun with all my  Stampin queens. Here  he is again ...  Mr. Frankie .. Here are some of the Frankie's I made for our Harvest party we are having at our church onOct 24th.  You know  the  annual event My  bestest  friend Linda  puts on every year ..  Click HERE  for 2006   Harvest party  we had at Linda's.

Cute basket with small ribbon flower

Hi Stampers :

 I just love the  Big shot Basket and Blooms  XL Bigz Die # 113484  I made this basket using the   Sweet Always  Designer Series Paper #112468   and the little  ribbon  flower is made just like  the one I did this  past Saturday  HERE  but this one I used the 5/8  Very Vanilla  GG ribbon #109055  I think this  ribbon  flower is  just the cuttest thing . Its Made the  same way as the 1 1/4"Pink pirouette  #111363 ribbon  flower I did in the  video,  But it is on a smaller  scale  of course ..  

Great news  on the  cutting  and prep for  my M&Ts  for  the H.A.P  I only have 1 more  to  prepare .. Thats was fast huh?  Its  really  amazing what  we  can set our minds to do  Plus It always helps  with  Great music  playing  too .. You know the  kind I'm talking about  don't you ?  "You should be  Stampin ~ YEA!! "  Does that sound familar?  :-)

Inspired by Nature ..

  Hi Stampers :

 I made my  Favoritest cousin Ruthie these  10  notecards  w/ matching  envelopes, the set I grabbed  was the Inspired by Nature #111656 . ( love this set )  The Greeting is from Sincere Salutations # 105156  once I stamped the main image on the notecard I then stamped the  image  again on to the  envelope without  re inking the image .  Makes the image on the envelope  alot  softer  / lighter .

 This week I am focusing on my H.A.P  goodies, OH boy  do I have alot of  cutting / prep  to do  before  this Saturday .  We will be making at least  5  projects  and  maybe  if I tackle one  project  a day I  just may get everything  done on time ..

Hi Stampers:

Last night was  our  stampers club meeting  what a Awesome time we had . Here are  the  Halloween treats I gave my  girls last night   I used  a piece of 6x6   ghostly  greetings designer paper  wrapped  around a 1.5 oz  Kit kat bar ( Standard  size kit kat )  I used  sticky strip  & the  crimper on the ends  the  6x6  piece of DSP  fits  perfectly  around   your  standard  size  kit kat bar .  Thank you  Diana  for your  brillant idea ..

I also wanted  to share this  Photo of our  Purpose driven life  home group . Our  1st meeting was this past Thursday night .. We had a few that couldn't  make it due  to being  sick / or other  plans  so hopefully  they will make it  this upcoming Thursday night .. very excited .Of  course I am the one taking the photo  but you  all know what I look like wink wink!!  If  you  could please pray for our group~ I  would sooo appreciate it  .

 Congrates  to all the new Glitter Queens  who joined my  stampin  team  during the Starter kit  special promotion . I am  sooo blessed  you  picked me  to help you on  your  Stampin Journey .

 For my  Sunday share I would love to introduce you  to Nick .. NO I don't know Nick personally~  But  what  an Amazing  Man  and  How God is using him  I am sure you  will be touched by his Life & His testimony to our  Lord Jesus Christ  .

I have a passion for reaching out to youth and keep myself available for whatever God wants me to do, and wherever He leads, I follow.

I have many dreams and goals that I have set to achieve in my life. I want to become the best witness I can be of God's Love and Hope , to become an international inspirational speaker and be used as a vessel in both Christian and non-Christian venues. I want to become financially independent by the age of 25, through real estate investments, to modify a car for me to drive and to be interviewed and share my story on the ' Oprah Winfrey Show '! Writing several best-selling books has been one of my dreams and I hope to finish writing my first by the end of the year. It will be called 'No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!

The awesome thing about the Power of God, is that if we want to do something for God, instead of focusing on our capability, concentrate on our availability for we know that it is God through us and we can't do anything without Him. Once we make ourselves available for God's work, guess whose capabilities we rely on? God's!

Whatever your  situation  in your  life ~ be Thankful to God  till the End ....

Ribbon flower ...

  Hi Stampers:

We have yet another  Crystal Effects # 101055 project for you  today .. I am sure you  are loving your crystal effects  and if you  don't have  any yet what are  you  waiting  for ?  Todays  project  we will be making this adorable  flower  made from  the Pink Pirouette  1 1/4 " GG ribbon # 111363  .  You will need  appox  12" of ribbon .I have made these flowers  with  the 5/8 " GG ribbon  as well But the flower will be smaller  But made the  same  way, so  just have fun with it . I will show you a ribbon  flower  I made with the  5/8"  GG ribbon soon  .We made these  ribbon  flowers at convention  this year   and Trust me  when I say you  don't have to learn to sew  when making this  ribbon   flower . I  will be using the  Chunky Essentials #108797  in silver  which  is sold  in a pack of 4 colors  ( Silver ,Black , Red  and  white ) . For my  center of my  ribbon  flower today  I used a Pretties  kit #109114  clear brad with  pink Pirouette card stock # 111351  cut  with the 1" circle punch #109046 It is  really  easy  so let me show you  how today .

Making Icicles ...

  Hi Stampers: 

We have  another Crystal effect  project again today stampers. This  cute  little element will be  such a simple  way to jazz  up any  Christmas project. I added mine to this Christmas card and you all know I can never  have enough dazzling  diamonds .

I have had Many requests on  what I  did  for my  cards today  below is  an update  10-10-08 12:25pm

 Card #1  Seasons greetings:

The base card is  always artichoke  with Sage shadow  card stock and the   whisper white card stock  is what SNOW  jumbo  wheel # 110332 was wheeled on  with Always artichoke ink  I just took the  sage shadow  ink  with a dauber and rubbed on  the whisper  white .. after I embossed the snowflakes  from Snow swirled stamp set # 111690 over top the  wheeled Snow  with clear Embossing powder  I did this TECHNIQUE  ( embossing resist ) to both pieces ( snow main image  and  Season greetings )

Pop top cans..

Hi Stampers:

Todays video I will show  you how I  made  these  cute pop top cans  that hold a  little surprise inside .    I have made these  every year for my HAP  and this   year is no different .. I used the  Hawaiian Papaya Designer paper  # 112460 .

They still make these fruit  pop top cans But  they are alot harder  to find . I  also have used  soup cans  that have the pop top  on them ..

I used the Brand new Designer paper  called  Rainbow Sherbet # 112471 ( Gorgeous  DSP)   along with the new Hostess Only  level 1 stamp set called Bitty basics . I love the tiny images / words in this  stamp set  I also used my 1/16th hand held punch #101227  along with Linen thread #104199 and Apricot appeal  GG ribbon #109040 for my  little  bow. Tempting Turquoise  and Apricot Appeal card stock and matching markers  where  used  for my tag

Harvest Pumpkin ..

Hi Stampers:

 Today I thought I would share my  cute little pumpkin I made  with the new designer paper  Ghostly greeting

#112463 .. I cut my DSP at 5 1/2 X 11  and cut 11~ 1" strips  and then  punched  both ends on all 11 pieces  with my  Crop a dile # 108362 and then used Mellow Moss  GG ribbon# 109033  and  Ta Da  what  a cute  pumpkin HUH?

 I also used  the   Mellow Moss card stock   for my  leafs  which I folded a piece of  card stock in half  then hand  cut out  my  leaf on the  fold line  ( ya know Like  how we  use to make  paper  hearts?  Just like that But  in a leaf shape  and not a heart  ) run it  through my  crimper  while it  was still folded  then  attached  the leafs with  dimensionals.

I also  used 3  tiny strips ( hand  cut ) of Ghostly  greetings  DSP  and  wrapped  the strips around a  pencil and  got the  the  DSP  to curl  and attached  it  to the  top of my  pumpkin  with a dimensional as well .

I love the  way the  GG ribbon looks like  the stem of  the  pumpkin.This is such a cute and easy project .

Last night Josh took Jessie to his Homecoming  which they both look  sooo cute.  I thought I would share  some photos with you  today.

Today we will be starting a 6 week course  with  the Purpose Driven Life at our  church and we have a little  group of 10 people  coming this  Thursday  to meet once a week at my Moms  home . I am sooo excited  about this book . I read this awesome book  along  time  ago  But  reading it  again  I am sure  it will be even better this time around . Its sooo amazing  how you  can read something over and over  Just like the Word of God and get  something different  from it  each time you  read it .  anyway I am  very excited  for our  1st meeting on  Thursday Oct 9th  at 7:00pm .

Look  what I am celebrating on Tuesday  Oct 7th, 2008   5 years  being a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator .  Funny  how  things  Change  but   remain the same ~ Well  Kinda sort of Huh?  Styles, stamp  images   and  techniques  have  all  changed over the last  5 years  I have been stamping  But my Love of stamping  and being  a SU! demonstrator has NOT changed .  Love it as much as I did  5 years ago  and it just  keeps  getting better .. I  will be using the New Frosty Day designer paper # 113057 in the new Holiday mini ~ It is sooo  yummy !!
