This stamp set is sooo stinkin adorable .. I finally got to use the extra rubber I have been keeping from the die cut stamps . So many of you have asked me what was I going to do with it and todays video I will show you how I used the extra rubber left over for my Thank you cards .
If you threw your extra rubber away Don't worry you can make your own template with out the left over rubber just by stamping the image and cut out the image adding a small border around the image using your Hobby blade #102449

I love the Just Jawing stamp set #111660 It seems I love this stamp set even more than when I 1st got it .. Here is another Shadow box card I made using the Texturz plates SU! backgrounds 1 #114512 ( polka dots ) for the very front of my shadow box card not Sorry about the embossed polka dots not showing up very good ( You can click on photo to enlarge ) ..
I added the Brand new Fine Galaxy Glitter #114286 to some of the embossed polka dots on the front and added more of the Red & then the Silver and black from the same Fine galaxy Glitter pack to my skull.Then popped the skul up on dimensionals .
This glitter is sooo fine and sparkles like you wouldn't believe .. I also used the silver embossing powder & Versa mark ink pad for the back side of my shadow box card with "YOU ROCK "
Sure does Sparkle IRL ( In real life) . I really love the looks of this card especially when I tilt it side to side and see all that glitter WOWZIE!!!!

I used the fabulous To the Nines specialty designer paper #114038 which is awesome for this box . makes it very sturdy and it is sooo Cute with the Very Vanilla 5/8" ribbon # 109055 .
I also used the New hostess stamp set A little Somethin' ( hostess only stamp set level 2) I stamped that in Chocolate Chip on Very vanilla card stock # 101650 then punched the image out with my 1 3/4" circle punch #112004 and popped it up on 2 dimensionals #104430 . I then added some Creamy Caramel ink around the edges with my Dauber #102892
I really love our new specialty Designer paper on page 158 and all the fabulous designs each package has to offer .
Look what I saw when I opened up my new package of Rockabilly Specialty Designer Series paper # 114039 This designer paper is sooo Awesome ..
Not only cause it has tons of cute cherries and other fabulous designs BUT the paper has sections which looks like it is clear embossed ~well thats the best way to describe it anway ..
I posted this photo ( above ) of what I am trying to explain But of course the photo doesn't do it Justice . Since I had my new package of Rockabilly opened I had to hurry and make this card with millions of Cherries all over .. my Cherry stamp is from the Just Jawing stamp set # 111660

Todays project is using the new Texturz Plates that are in the new Stampin'Up! catalog. I also used a bunch of other new goodies for my card today too .
I used the new stamp sets called Thoughts & prayers # 113252 pg 58 for my main image I used the Sage Shadow marker # 100040 and the Chocolate Chip marker #100071 the greeting is from Hope Happens stamp set #113722 pg135 in Chocolate chip classic ink # 100908
Specialty Designer paper called To the Nines # 114038 Which is sooo beautiful .. Its a heavier weight designer paper
The texturz plate I used was Texturz plates kit #4 # 114531 pg 203 .The side I used for todays card was the Daises I then added a soft touch of creamy Caramel clasic ink with my dauber across the embossed dasies to add some depth to the Very Vanilla card stock # 106650 pg 156
Then I used the Eyelet border punch # 113692 and added some Chocolate Chip Taffta ribbon #109065 pg 179

Oh I love this tree from the Branch out stamp set # 113200 on page 100 and Look closely at the Always Artichoke card stock you will see the New Texturz plates I used the Backgrounds 1 #114512 page 203 ( Polka dots side) for my card today Sooo stinkin AWESOME!! I posted a 2nd photo ( below) from the side so you can see the embossed card stock alittle better .. These plates work with our Fabulous Big shot #113439
I also used the New Hope Happens stamp set # 113722 for my greeting. the colors for my tree leafs are Really Rust, More Mustard and Always Artichoke .
I also was so excited to use my new Corduroy Chocolate chip Buttons and brads #114339 page 176 this is a brad that I used on my card today.
Plus I used the new Eyelet Border punch #113692 page 184 which I used my White gel pen # 105021 to highlight the punched holes from this Fabulous new punch . I then added some Chocolate chip taffeta ribbon# 109065 to finish my card ..

Todays card I used the Brand new Sweet Stems stamp set #113726on page 99 in the new catalog along with the Sweet Always designer paper #112468 the " Dear friend " came from Bella Blossoms # 111596 which is still available on the 2009 dormant ListHERE . I also used Regal rose & Chocolate chip card stock .
I used theword window punch# 105090 for the greeting which fits perfectly with this punch & the 1 3/8" circle punch # 104401 and Scallop circle punch #109043 were used for the flowers Then I added some Chocolate chip Taffeta ribbon # 109065with my white gel pen # 105021 and a touch of dazzling diamonds #102023 to the little flowers .

I love my Chunky Essentials glitter # 108797with this stamp set Just Jawing #111660 I know I know ....this set isn't Brand spankin new But I still enjoy stamping that cute face and wanted to use him on my very 1st step card . Here are the measurments for the step part of my card .
Black card stock cut at
4 1/4" X 11"
then I scored that at
1 3/8, 2 1/2", 4 3/8", 6" & 8 1/4" fold it accordian style and then I added a piece cut at 4 1/4" X 5 1/2 " to the last step & thats it .. pretty easy and sooo cute HUH?

I have a simple No layers card for you today Using theLove you much bundle# 115405 . I did the omitting techinque on the 2 birds from this stamp set and made it a single bird resting on the "O". The birdie fits so perfectly don't you think ? I also used the stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the cute blue bird in its place . I added lots of dazzling diamonds too.

I used the Raspberry Tart designer paper#113975(NOT Candy lane sorry about that) and the Heart to heart punch from the Love you much Bundle # 115405
I also used Rose red #102544 and Kiwi Kiss # 111353 and Regal rose #105130 card stock & the Scallop Edge punch #112091 to decorate the top of my box ..
I also used the lightweight chip board that comes with the designer paper to keep it flat ( you know what I'm talking about right ? ) Anywho that's what I had laying around so I used that . See nothing goes to waste :)

Here is yet another YoYo Yellow and Black Just buzzin' By card ~ This is the sample M&T card for my club group #2 & #3 this month .
I did throw in some going gray card stock ~ so does that count for using something different with my bees? Probably not HUH? LOL :)
Anywho I just love how cute this card is.. To make the focus on the bees I popped the Black card stock up on Dimensionals after I used the 1 1/4" circle punch .
I then stamped the bees and punched them out the the same 1 1/4" circle punch and used snail adhesive to adhere those busy bees to the inside centers of the 1 1/4" circles on the black .. I also used the sanded background stamp for this card as well in YoYo Yellow .
I got my 1st shipment of catalogs yesterday YAHOO !

Holy Moly we got some snow this weekend , seems like I was forever shoveling .. As soon as I would make a path it was covered again .. If there ever was a year I wish I had a snow plow it would be this winter BUT I have been very blessed with the sweetest man who lives 2 doors down from us and he has a plow and he has been doing my sidewalk and the end of my driveway ..
What a Blessing ..
While I was snowed in I made this shadow box using the "Just Buzzin' by"# 113228 stamp set .
Oh my goodness It really looks like I need to branch out with my colors a wee bit when using this stamp set. Seems like I'm using Black and yellow's alot huh?( I used Summer Sun for my sample today ). I will "TRY" and see what I can do about using other colors with this set.. ( not making any promises though) :)
The only good thing is that My YoYo Yellow is finally being used ( ALOT) and not just sitting there :) I do find this color ( yoyo yellow) difficult to use. Maybe I should break out my color coach and see what I can come up with .. another difficult color for me to use is Brillant blue so maybe I could pair those 2 up for a future stamping date :)

I made these little notecards using the Love you much bundle # 115405 I love the Dazzling Diamonds on the word "LOVE "so simple But soooo sparkley ,actually I love adding Dazzling Diamonds #102023 to our " word " stamps like the Big on Christmas stamp# 109266 stamp set which is a great example also..
NO need to color the letters in Just add your 2 way glue pen# 104425 then add some glitter . Gotta love that :) For the purple heart I used the Heart to heart punch which is also in the Love you much bundle . I then added some doodle dots to my OH so lovely lilac #100427heart using the White gel pen # 105021
I thought it would be fun to make a card holding a small treat in this case its a stick of gum .. I used the new Love you much bundle # 115405 and the Brand new Designer paper Raspberry Tart which will be in the new catalog January 19, 2009. I even wrapped my stick of gum in this yummy designer paper .
The tiny hearts along the top and bottom came from the A Happy Heart stamp set # 1117558 which is in the holiday mini catalog through January 18, 2009.
I used the Whisper white Taffeta Ribbon #109070 and my Hobby blade #102449 to cut the slit to hold the stick of gum .
(2) Rich regals brads #106953 . Card stock colorsI used on my card are Regal Rose # 105130 and Riding hood red #111348 with Lots of Dazzling diamonds #102023 on the Big heart, Plus squiggly lines with my Regal Rose marker #105108 .
