Today is a Great day at the Griffith household . My honey bunch is coming home this afternoon.This will be the 1st time Jessie won't be going with me to pick him up since she is having MME testing at school this week & she can't sneak out early to go with me BUT she will be home when we get back from the airport.
Todays projects are what we did at Lindas workshop a couple weeks ago .The Easter gift card holder we made was from this video that can be viewed HERE. 
I just made it into a Easter themed one & used the cute chic from the Good Egg stamp set # 114974 with the Sale-a-bration Designer paper Delicate dots # 114674 which you get the this pack of beautiful designer paper FREE right now with Sale-a-bration

Over the last week I have got the next 2 weeks videos filmed for you and videos for just my Glitter Queens ready to go, deep cleaned the house , took a car load of goodies to Salvation Army, Prepared a class project for an upcoming Jr Church activitiy, Stamped 20 note cards for Jessies Class trip to a womens shelter this Friday , still have a few last minute things to do this morning But life is Good~ even with 1 hour less of sleep due to time change this past weekend :)
Last night we had our Home Bible study group , Our Bible study group on Tuesday nights are excited to have Rich join our meeting over the next 2 weeks as well .
Rich will be taking me on a special over night date this weekend . Then next weekend we are heading to Niagara Falls Rich has to be out of the US for 3 days. Our Tax guy said go to Canada, so we are heading North next weekend Can't wait . YAHOO I can't believe We have never been to Niagara falls .
We have a few things planned, of course going to the falls ( Just hope it will be a Great weekend weather wise ) Any ideas of other places we should visit while we are at Niagara Falls ?
His next time he comes home in May/June we will be going to the Bahamas for 2 weeks since that time he will have to be out of the US for the entire time

The reason He has to be out of the country is due to the fact that he is working with KRB as a sub contractor in Iraq and can only be in the States for 30 Days within a year to be Tax free Money .

Dawn, have a wonderful time..there is a great casino..and if you are into tacky..a visit to Signal hill is a must..Madame Tussads…all kinds of creepy, freeky fun things to do. You might also want to go under the falls..there are tons of signs..you actually go into caves and the rushing water of the falls is in front of you..quite an experience.

So happy for you. You’ll have so much fun. I think the commenter above summed it up. The tackiness is part of the experience lol Niagara-on-the-Lake is pretty and maybe 30 min from where you’ll be. Small town, little shops. Big wine growing area. If you’re really bored you can drive 6.5 hrs east and come and see me! lol Just kidding, we’ll be in Mexico. Have a great time!

if you like wine, take a trip out to the vineyards. Stone Church Vineyard was our favorite!

While in Niagra visit the butterfly conservatory. BEAUTIFUL! Visit the Hersey Chocolate factory. And do some winery tours. Or just stay in a hotel with hubby! Wink wink! Enjoy him while he is home!

I live just an hour from the Falls and all the above things to do there are perfect. I never get tired of the magnificence of the Falls, especially the Canadian Falls. The main themed area is actually called Clifton Hill. Go to the Niagara Falls official website for lots of info on what to do there. Have a GREAT time!!!!

I could not be more happy for you and your’s. Thank your husband for me. Even though I am Canadian I appreciate the effort and sacrifice that these men and women make in defending their country. You are just a borderline away from us and war changes those borders because of who lives inside them. I am grateful that United States is on the other side of my country’s border.
Now about Niagra Falls. I live in Alberta but have been to the falls and they are breathtaking. Be sure to go down and go under them and you can take a boat ride on the Maiden of the Mist that actually takes you under then. It is awe inspiring.
Niagra on the Lake is also beautiful and I said that if I could retire wherever I wanted to in Canada that would be the place. BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Enjoy each other and your time together and hopefully this terrible war will be over soon and he will be home safe and sound for good.

I am so excited for you and your hubby and what better place to go than Niagra Falls how romantic. I have seen people who go on the boat tour that takes you under the falls. It looks like so much fun and of course very wet…he he. No matter what the two of you do it will be great because you are together. Have fun we will be waiting to hear all about it but until then God bless you both.

Have fun on your ‘date’ trip. Niagara Falls State Park (on the NY side) has Three Sisters Island and Goat Island with spectacular views of the falls from the top!
Enjoy. Clifton Hill is the “ultimate” in tackiness but it is so much fun to wander. It is full of gift shops, wax museums, haunted houses, ice cream shops, etc.

Maid of the Mist (could be a cold ride though – and I am not sure it runs all year)
Not sure where you are staying, but if it were me, I would stay at one of the B&B’s or Resort Hotels (Pillar and Post, Prince of Wales or Queen’s Landing) in Niagara on the Lake.
Do a wine tour. Some of the wineries also have great settings for intimate dinners.

I live in Toronto – a 1 1/2 hr. drive away from NF. DH & I love that area and spend a lot of time riding our bikes between Niagara-on-the-Lake and Queenston on the bike/walking path along the Niagara River – there is a road that runs between NF and NOTL and it is a gorgeous drive. NOTL is a very pretty little town with lots of shops. There is lots to see and do in the area – wineries, wax museums, butterfly conservatory etc. Google NF and NOTL and you will see what I mean. I would love to move to that area when we retire.
I love all your projects and I also love Niagara Falls. The two of you will have a blast.
My husband and I went to Niagara Falls for our honeymoon. We stayed at the Doubletree on the Canadian side and did not cross the border back until the week was over. There is so much to do!
Not sure if they still have it, but we did a winter pass special, but if they do, I highly recommend that.
The best part of the trip, besides the falls themselves, was Bird Kingdom and the Butterfly Conservatory. AMAZING.
I could go on and on forever, but I won’t. Have fun and take lots of picutres!
Oh, I live only about 20 minutes from the Falls. You will love it. So romantic. If you can visit the US side, do go to Goat Island, and stop at Three Sisters Island,can be up close to the water, spectacular view. Also, walk along the rapids, right before water flows over the falls, also a sight to see.
Canadian side has all the entertainment though. Enjoy!
They have an amazing butterfly farm there. Definately worth a visit!
