It's Monday and that means another sneak peek of what's to come in the new Occasions mini starting on January 5, 2010 .
The color card stock is Pixie pink #105121 and Black #102851 with Whisper white # 100730
I used the new embosslit called Scalloped Heart of Hearts # 117332 with the new textured impressions folder called Perfect polks dots # 117335
The Love you much greeting is from the new stamp set called Well Scriped which will be available in wood mount and also in clear mount.
I also used the new Pinking Hearts border punch # 117649
Under the clear button #105447 I used the new small heart punch 117193 ( occasions mini ) with the 3/4" circle punch #107217
Dawns Side note :
To layer my hearts on my card .
I ran the black card stock through the big shot with the new embosslit scalloped heart of hearts.
I then ran the pixie pink card stock through the big shot with the new impressions folder perfect polka dots and then punched out the hearts with the Full heart punch#113693 and layered it on top of the black embosslit heart of hearts.
The embosslit and Full heart punch layer together perfectly . LOVE IT!!
Thanks so much for peeking in today.
Until later.. Happy Stampin!!
Cute card!!! Somehow I totally missed the scalloped heart – but you can bet I’ve written it down for my next order, lol!
Thanks Dawn!
Love it! Great layering and I love that it is pink (not red) a retro pink and black colour. Super duper card.
Beautiful card! I like the color combination and the new embosslit.
OMGosh kiddo, your killing me with anticipation…I can’t wait to see the mini!!! Did you mail them out yet? I luv your card, it’s so darn cute!
I’m so glad you explained how you did it. I was trying to figure out how you did the black edge around the heart. Cool! Thanks!
