 Today card uses two of the brand new  core colors  that will be Available  July 1st called Marina Mist and Early Expresso.

For my flowers I used the Floral Fusion  sizzlit die # 115969.

The "Thanks" is from the stamp set called Fundamental Phrases # 114968.

For my Background I used the   tiny punch from Itty Bitty Shapes # 118309 .

Happy Sunday friends !

 Just wanted  to give  you a heads up... This weeks videos will be posted on Wednesday and Thursday because I have something else planed  for Friday  so I moved my videos up a day instead of the typical Thursday & Friday ..

I also wanted to let  you know June is a very busy month for  the Griffith family  so IF  I don't post every day  I hope  you understand ..

Todays  Sunday Share  video is  yet another one from Jess and Ash .

 Ash spent the night last night again so maybe that means a couple more  videos can be made  before she leaves  for TX next month . 

 

 I have another  Sunday share  video for you ..  This  video is a spoof  on Beyonce  All the Single Ladies . Yes I can relate to this one  Hee! Hee!

Cleaning Mood ....

Hi Stampers :

Happy Saturday .

 I have been getting things  ready  for  my honey bunch who is  coming home in a couple weeks   YAHOO!  Plus we have family  coming  in for Jessie Graduation  so  must get my butt in gear  and  get things  cleaned up ..

Of course the 1st place to start was my Stamping room. 

I am sooo excited  about the new colors  coming  so I re organized my  card stock  with moving the color groups around and removing all the  retiring card stock  and adding new slots  for the new colors . WOW  that was a task  just by itself .

 Here is all the cardstock I removed  from my organizer (see photo) .

 Compared to what I have heard  from fellow  demonstrators  this  may seeem like a small stack  .

Next on the list was my markers , refills, and ink pads ( DONE)  .

 My stamp sets will be next on the list  once  the retirement  list  is  posted on June 1st .

P.S  If you are wondering where I got my paper organizer I got  that at Viking  over 6 yrs ago.

Secret Message card ..

Blissful Bride ...

Hi Stampers :

Todays card is a simple  But  very sparkly bridal shower card.

Blissful Bride is such a sweet stamp set & I of course Love the wedding  dress  since very little coloring is needed  and then just add lots of dazzling diamonds .Woot Woot !! Gotta love that :)

This was the 1st card I made with this set  I used the Itty Bitty Bits  stamp set  for the flowers  which seems  to match the  flowers in the Blissful Bride set perfectly . I punched the flowers out with the Itty Bitty Shapes punch.

Superstar Grad...

Hi Stampers : 

 I thought it would be fun to use the new stamp set July Fourth from the Summer mini on a Graduation card.

I used Tempting Turquoise classic ink  for the polka dot stars  on Whisper White card stock .

 I also used the Star punch with Black card stock.

For the greeting I used  the Versa Mark ink pad with White embossing power.

I love the looks of the card.

It's about time ...

Hi Stampers :

Happy Monday Friends .

I made this card over the weekend  and even though the greeting is from the Go Graduate # 120054 I Thought it was just  perfect  for todays Motorcycle #117657 card.

 I had my hubby in mind  when I was making it ( of course ).

I think this is what he may be thinking to himself  when he actually gets to pick up his Brand new Motorcycle (It's about time )  .

The Technique I used on todays card is called Split Negitive. I used Black and white embossing powder  along with Black and Whisper white card stock .

Pretty simple card~ But it's the meaning behind it that makes it sooo AWESOME!

P.S On a different  subject:

I am sooo sad that Lost is over  Boo Hoo! I'm Interested in what will be your new replacement for LOST on TV ?

Spotlighting technique video ....

Hi Stampers :

Today we will revisit  a fun technique  called Spotlighting. I made a video on this technique  awhile ago But  thought it  would be fun to use  the new Birthday Block stamp  # 118084 .

Stamping 411 video ~ Builder wheels

Hi Stampers :

Todays video I will be highlighting the Brand new Builder Wheels from the new 2010 Summer mini  .

The Builder wheels are about 1/2 the  width compared to our standard size  wheels and alot smaller than our Jumbo size wheels .

The Builder wheel spindle and spacers #119895  work with our Jumbo wheel Handle #103661   BUT will NOT work with our Standard size wheel handle.  

There are 6 Brand new  Builder wheels available right now in the new Summer mini .

Both  the standard and jumbo wheel handles  have  an assortment of ink cartridges  in many colors But for todays video I will be using  Rich Razzleberry ink pad

Ice Cream Celebration ...

Hi Stampers :

I love Ice Cream~ Actually pickles and ice Cream are  both my all time favorite Just not at the same time .  Hummm makes me wonder if there is a  pickle favored ice cream  ?? Ok maybe that doesn't  sound  to good after all.

This is a new stamp set from the Summer mini  called Sweet Scoops#117078 is so stinkin cute .

I can picture making a ice cream sundae  with this set  with ice cream scoops  in Strawberry, Chocolate, and vanilla favor with a cherry on top . How yummy  does that sound ?

Todays card is a step card  which you  can find the video on this type of card HERE.

I used Melon Mambo card stock #115320 for the base of my card  along with Soft Suede card stock #115318.

Look at my  soft serve ice cream cones  on the front  I used Iridescent Ice embossing powder #101930 to give  my vanilla soft serve  some sparkle ..  so YUMMY and sooo cute  with all that glitter  don't you think?  Plus my  scooped ice cream had  to have a little dazzling diamonds  too.

 The  greeting on the  front is  from the stamp set called Birthday Bliss  stamp set # 115442 which I punched out  with the  1 3/8" circle punch #104401  and then layered that onto the Scallop Circle punch #109043

I sponged the edges of the step card  with Melon Mambo ink and then stamped the confetti  image ( also in the set) with the Melon Mambo ink  and then highlighted some of the confetti  with the white gel pen # 105021.

Todays card is one we made at my Stampers club meeting. It's sooo stinkin cute  But I will share what it looks on the inside  later  since I have a  video coming up very soon on this card .

I used the King of the Grill stamp set #120066 the designer paper is  called Travel Journal #117156  Both items are in the Summer mini right now HERE .

I used Chocolate chip card stock #102128 for the base of the card and then added (2) Silver Brads #104336 

I colored the main image in with the following  SU! markers :

• Bashful Blue #105011
• Sage Shadow 100040
• Creamy Caramel #100078
• Going Gray (available in Netural pack of Markers #109126)
• Black #100082

From the Heart ...

Happy Monday friends!

 Todays card's are what I made for my Stampers club hostess this past Saturday night .

I used the brand new Watercolored Trio #120084 stamp set  with Regal rose marker #105108 and Sage Shadow marker #100040

The Sage Shadow  card stock #101563 is cut at 1" X 5 1/2"  then I added a strip of Vellum card stock   cut at  1/2" X 5 1/2" with the Eyelet border punch #113692

I added Vellum card stock #101856  butterflies with the embosslit Beautiful wings #118138

I then finished off the cards by adding Smooch Spritz Vanilla  Shimmer 118772

Last night  was my Stampers club meeting Like always  we had alot of fun stamping &  getting  caught up on everything  going on with them.

I also filmed (2) videos  for this upcoming week . Plus Jess had Ash spend the night Friday -Saturday  so be on the look out for yet  another crazy video from those silly girls.

Jess & Ash decided  that they were  not going to prom  Friday night  since Ash is getting married  July 3rd,2010  and moving away to TX on June 25th, 2010 , so Jess and Ash wanted to spend sometime together before Ash leaves . 

For my Sunday share  video I want to post  the new song  from Carrie Underwood  called Temporary Home . What an amazing song with such a awesome message .

Vintage card video ...

Today we will be making  this card .

This was my 1st  attempt at doing this Vintage / Shabby chic' technique  and I had so many questions on how I made it  so today I will show you how I made made this card .

 This past weekend I stamped  cards  for  Graduation  parties .

 I have 3 coming up within the next few weeks . Plus this  project is one that we are making at my  stampers club meeting this upcoming Saturday night (can't wait to see my girls)  .

I made a video on this  type of gift card/ money  holder HERE But I made this one  in Pixie pink for  a girl.

I used the new stamp set  called Go Graduate #120054 along with the new Builder wheel  called So Many Stars # 118620 both items are in the Summer mini right now . Along with the  Scallop circle punch #109043 , 1 3/8 " circle punch #104401  & 1 1/4" circle punch 104403

For the edges I used the Scallop edge punch #112091

Since I had no power on Saturday , I finished filming my videos this past Monday for this week  Stay tuned .

Cruise photos #6 ~ M&T with BJ

I wanted  to  share  the  photos  of our  little M&T session  with my friend BJ .

Dawns Sunday Share 5-9-10

Hi Stampers :

Happy Sunday & Happy Mothers day!

What an amazing week we had  on the  cruise But it is always nice  to come home  again . I  am  finally all caught up on  everything  Praise God  and  yesterday ( at least for a little while  until my electricity went out  for 10 hours )  I got  to do some stamping YAHOO! 

 This upcoming week  I will  finish adding address's  to labels  for Jessie's Graduation party invites  and get those mailed out  ASAP!

One BIG  event happened  at  the Griffith Home this past  Friday .....My Hubby  has  officially ordered  his Harley Davidson motorcycle . 

 He  is getting a 2010  Road King Classic. ( Black just like the photo )  

Oh my goodness  My hubby  has been wanting a bike  forever and well His Dream is coming true .

I can honestly  say I don't think I have ever seen my hubby  so nervous in our 22 years of marriage as he is over ordering  his Bike . Maybe it's because he's in SHOCK  that he is actually getting  a bike .

 We have  been saving  up  for this big day ever  since he has been over in Iraq  and  the day has  finally arrived .

He  has ordered  his bike  though Overseas Military Sales office  and his new  bike  should be  ready by June 1st  & we will pick his bike up at a local dealer  here in Michigan when he  comes home in June

FYI: Retiring colored card stock ....

Hi Stampers :

It has been brought to my attention  with an announcement from SU! that the retiring  colored card stock is going quickly  and will soon  if not already be substituted with the textured card stock  in  the upcoming days / weeks at no extra cost .

I'm not exactly sure when this replacement will take place . 

Ink pads  and re inkers are still available through May but may go into backorder status .

Beginning June 1st all  retiring colors will be available while  supplies last.

Cruise photos part 3

Today's cruise photos are  some of the projects  we  got  to see on the  ship in the Stampin'Up! Hospitality room .

 The Hospitality room  is where SU!  headquarters was set up .  This is where  we droped off our fishies each  day  for  a spin at  the  Stampin'Up! wheel with  lots of prizes  check out the wheel . Just like Wheel of Fortune  Hee! Hee! 

 The Hospitality room  we also got  to   see  display boards of  card samples , scrapbook pages  and  so many other fabulous  things that  other demonstrators  made.

SU! also had extra cover ups  that we could purchase .

 I also  called  this place the hook up room  cause  once in the hospitality room  you  were bound  to run into some of your  SU!  friends . 

I had So much fun  spinning  the wheel.  On Friday I  landed on Wild Card  and  had my  choice  of what  free item I wanted  to pick  out myself .

 I still have  so many photos  to share  with you hope  you  don't  get tired of seeing them .. next week I will share  photos of friends  and a M&T session   I was  invited to by my  friend PJ. Oh and lets not  forget all the FOOD!! Yup got  some photos  of  the lovely  food  too   Stay tuned .
