Hi Stampers :

Todays video we will be making this adorable Shirt & Tie  card ..

My  dear friend Laurie  showed us all how  to make this card  at club  a few weeks ago and I  totally  freaked out .LOVE IT!!!

 I seen many shirts  But  not  where  the sleeves  are  the opposite  side of the designer paper showing out  .. Thank you Laurie :)

PLUS  at Convention   I treated my  Glitter Queens  to dinner at Olive Garden  on our Free night  and  we  all made this  as a M&T  at our dinner table.  I left mine  for our waiter  which he seemed  excited  about  or was it  that  tip I left him ~  HUMMMM ..

Convention Sweet Shop ....

 WOW what an amazing time at  Convention this year . Stampin Up! Never Fails  to pull out  all the stops  for us Demonstrators  and  this year was over the top .

I wanted to show  you  some photos  from the  AWESOME  display SU!  had  for us  called the Sweet  shop  OMG!! 

Just  delightful  and  sooo yummy  to look at Could have  spent hours in  there  but  with so much to see  I  couldn't stay forever ( Boo Hoo!)

Christmas is ....

Hi Stampers :

  I have another Christmas in July card  for you  today.

 I got  a few new  Christmas sets  from the new catalog  and this is one of them .. LOVE IT!  This set is  called Contempo Christmas # 120594

I used  the new In color Concord Crush #119792  with Whisper white #100730  and Brushed Silver card stock # 100712 and  of course  I added Dazzling Diamonds  to my  cute trees as well  .

I have  returned home  from Convention  and it was  SUPER  Fabulous !!!  Will share  more with you  all later ..

Hi Stampers :

I just love the new stamp set Make a Monster #120606  Just something about those  cute funny  faces  LOVE IT!  I also used  the  stamp set called Word Play # 120651   for the greeting on my card  today . 

I also used the small star punch  which has been retired ( sorry ) I didn't realize  this punch  was one of those  that didnt  come back until  I was  writting my post  this morning Boo Hoo!

I used my SU! markers to color in my little  monsters .

The marker colors are :

• Certainly Celery #105106
• Peach Parfait # 119801 ( In color pack)
• Daffodil Delight #119677

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig  #101049 to line up my  stack of monsters . I  also added  Dazzling Diamonds # 102023 to the  stars .

Todays card I used  lots of  goodies . I used the brand new ribbon called Victoria # 118481

 I also used the new designer paper called Newsprint#117166

 For the Base card I used Early Express#119686  and  the  piece in the center is Crumb Cake  card stock #120953

The greeting is from the  Hostess  level 1 stamp set called Because I care.  I punched that out  with the Lg oval punch ( 1 3/4"x 7/8") #119855

Other punches used  are :

• Scallop square # 119884
• 2 step bird punch # 117191
• Boho Blossom punch # 119858
• Full Heart punch # 119883

Today My hubby is coming home  so over the next couple days we will be getting ready  to  go to convention  I will have  videos  for you on Thursday & Friday  this week  don't miss those They will be videos of the gifts I am giving my Glitter Queens at convention this week as well as next weeks videos .

YAHOO I survived my 7th year of VBS LOL!

I thought I would share  some of the photos/video( below)  from VBS  this year  with you  all . The biggest class this year was the 3rd and 4th graders. The highest day count was 77  kids  for VBS this year ~ Praise God !

Pastor Brad  is not  going into cross dressing  He promised  all the kids if  they reached  the  goal  of raising  money  for a local  church  he  would dress up  in a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader  outfit   Pastor Brad Rocks  and check out his fancy new hair do  and sexy legs  LOL

Stampers club project #2

Hi Stampers :

Here is  the 2nd Stampers club project we made  this last Saturday . I just love  any cards  that move / pop up/ slide  and well this card  fits  the bill  for my excitement.

I  seen  my friend Jan Tink had a video on this  card HERE ( Thank you Jan ) .

 Then  I got  the new Bitty Bat Punch #119279  and well Since Laurie is one of my  girls  that Just LOVES  Halloween, I  Thought is  was Just perfect  for Club night .

Inside the opening I used the Batt from the stamp set called  Batty for You # 116574

I used the XL scallop circle punch#118874  then working inward I used the  scallop  circle punch # 119854 then the 1 3/8" Circle punch # 119860.

 The Happy Halloween stamp on the inside is from the stamp set called House of Haunts # 111574

Colors I used  for card :

• Pumpkin Pie # 105117
• Concord Crush # 119792
• Black # 121045
• Pear Pizzazz # 119795

Stampers club project #1 .

Hi Stampers :

Here is one of the  club projects we made Saturday night .

I am just  Crazy over this brand new Owl punch #118074 (Love it ! ) 

The  designer paper is called  Sweet & Sour#117390  and  is  so pretty .

For the base of the  card  I used  Peach Parfait #119794 and the  Scallop trim border punch # 118402 I used Rich Razzleberry card  stock # 115316

Birthday Wishes greeting is from the  Occasional Quotes  Level 3 stamp set . Then Punched out with the  Word window punch #119857 and  then layered on  to the Modern Label punch #119849

The  Silver Brad serves  as a small closure  for my card .

Hostess Cards for Laurie ...

Hi Stampers :

Here are the cards I gave my Stampers club hostess Laurie  this past Saturday night .

 Love the  Level 2 Hostess Only   stamp set called Punched Posies   from the Summer mini .

 I used  Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz  for the colors. 

The greeting is  from Occasional Quotes  Brand new Level 3  Hostess only  stamp set.

I also used the  Large  Oval punch # 119855  &  Scallop  Oval punch #119856 with the Scallop Circle  punch # 119854 & Butterfly  punch # 119848

Lets not forget the Dazzling Diamonds 102023 & the 2 way glue pen # 100425

My Club  girls are Always  such a Hoot   we  found another use  for the  Rhinestone Jewels # 119246  on page 188 in new catalog .

 We all wanted  to  turn our Stampers club meeting into a Nose piercing party  LOL  So stinking  funny  I just about peed my pants  from laughing .

Not  sure if the photo picks up our new nose piercing But  either way  dont we all look Fabulous with our new Nose bling  Hee! Hee!

We missed  Carol & Darlene  wish they could have got their nose pierced with us Hee! Hee!

 Happy Sunday Friends !

Today I wanted  to show  you a photo of my week daughter ( Ash)  on the  day she  got married  7-3-2010.  So Beautiful !

  Since I posted a photo of my Week daughter I want  to   share  this photo of Jessie & Ken .  This  Tuesday will be their offical 1 month  being together  So cute  counting the months ( I remember that ) 

 Now  we count the years ~Which Aug 31 will be 22 years for Hubby & I which  translates to  264 months ~ How  funny  is that ..

 Such sweet photos IMHO (In My Humble Opinon ) .

It sure has been crazy the last few months  and  by the end of July  My life should slow down  for me  enjoy  the rest of the summer  on  other things. No way am I complaining  More like Praising God  for bringing me  though everything that I was  commited to doing  and   not stressing out ( Yea right ... Ok not to much stress'n) over it all. Thank you Lord !   

Last night was my Stampers club meeting  and  I just love my girls . We have so much fun stamping  and laughing. ( Missed you Carol & Darlene )  I will share  the projects  we made this upcoming week !

Tomorrow  starts VBS at our  church and runs all week till Friday .This years  theme is  western Saddle Ridge Ranch . My Favorite song This year is Tumbleweed .

 I must say with everything  going on  I have  had  really no time  to devote as much time as I would have liked to  for  the VBS music I will be  doing this upcoming  week . But Praise God  The kids  will learn faster then I do .

Hubby is coming home again on the 19th of July   and I am very excited about that . Rich & I  both have been going through  withdraws  from the Harley rides .

Paper Photo Album video .

Hi Stampers :

I am currently in the middle of  getting gifts  made for my  Glitter Queens ( Downline )  who will be attending  SU! Convention with me this month. I am sooo excited .

The  last time I had   my Glitter Queens  attend  this exciting  annual event with Stampin'Up!  was back in 2006 I believe .

 I am sooo EXCITED  to have  them go this year.

 Any  who  as I was making my list  of  goodies  to make I thought  I  would add  this Photo album  to  the list .  Plus  this  was one of those  videos that needed  a update  so  I thought I would  film   the next few videos  on  just some of the gifts I will be giving to my Glitter Queens .

This photo album will be of course a place where  they can add a  few photos from  their 1st Stampin' Up!  Convention experience  BUT I will be presenting  this  to them  with  gifts inside too :)   How fun is that ?

Oh my goodness how perfect is that crown from the Artistic Etchings stamp set # 120573 for my Glitter Queens gifts ? LOVE IT!!

 I have  even more items I  will be giving them  each day at Convention But I will share  those with you  when I am at convention  via Video/s in  just a few weeks  stay tuned for those  goodies ..

Birthday Wishes ...

Hi Stampers :

 I am really loving the new In colors this year  and  todays card uses  the Brand new In color Blushing Bride #119796

Along with Watercolor Trio stamp set #120084 from the Summer mini  HERE

I added torn card stock in Whisper White and Blushing Bride to the front of my base card in Blushing Bride  .

 For the stamped image I used the  markers  and  stamped  twice with the  image.  The Birthday wishes is from the same stamp set .

Christmas in July ....

Hi Stampers  :

For todays card I finally  got  to use the Brand new  XL Large scallop circle  punch #118874 YAHOO!  The "Joy at Christmas"  stamp is  from the Perfect punches  set # 120516

I also used the new Cherry Cobbler  card stock #119685 and  Cherry Cobbler ink #119669  .

 I also colored  the Organza Ribbon # 114319 with Cherry Cobbler ink  (  I have an older  video from 8-8-2008 on coloring your ribbon HERE )

For the background I used  the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder # 117335 with the Big Shot  

P.S Don't you love how SU! added the sizes of the punches in the brand new catalog :) Thank you SU!

Hi Stampers :

For  todays  card  I used  the Baroque Motifs # 113490 this isn't a Brand new stamp set, But I haven't used it in awhile so I thought  it was  about time to  dust it off and use it again .

I did use the brand new stamp set Perfect Punches # 120516 for the "Thanks" with the Large Oval punch#119855  .

Once again I use the  Early Espresso card stock #119686  for the base of my card with Whisper White # 100730 then layered that onto Chocolate Chip card stock # 102128 ..

You may not be able to tell the difference between these 2 colors in the photo of the card  even when you  click photo to enlarge But the Espresso is  a much deeper & richer brown color ~  see photo for comparison  ( Love it ).

I finished  off my card  with a sponge# 101610 on  the edges  with Early Espresso ink #119670   and  then used the Log cabin  Smooch Spritz #119921

A few yrs ago SU! use  to add the Supply list in  the very back of the catalog  But  this was  removed  to offer even more amazing  samples & products .

Here is how to locate the supply list

 Click on  the  Current Stampin'Up! catalogs  button over on the  left hand side of my blog ( The one the  sparkles )   and  once you  are  there  you  will see the  catalogs listed  at  the bottom  ..

I thought I would share  some details with you  1st RE: the new catalog .

One of my many favorite brand new stamp sets  is Make a Monster # 118742 on page 95.

 OH my goodness this set is sooo stinkin cute  it reminds me of the  stamp set yrs ago called Fun Faces (Love my set and won't be selling mine any time soon never )

 Even though it is not the same type of faces But I still love all the different  kinds  of  goofy eyes  and mouths . I can see me using this new  stamp set for so many fun cards .
