Happy Sunday Friends!

This Past Friday My hubby  sent me a Pajama Gram  for our  22nd Wedding Anniversary ( Aug 31, 2010) .

 Oh my goondess  he  got me sooo many   goodies  all in a  beautiful  lavender  bag  and an simply adorable gift tag  ( see photos )  Inside  the bag were so many beautiful things  ( 3)  different Pajamas which are  sooo cute and OH so comfy ,   Bath goodies  and a few other  items I won't mention here  ( wink wink ) .

Thank you Baby cakes  I  love  your  gift But Most of all I Love YOU!

    This past week I have been preparing for Workshops and my Stampers club  projects. I also have  my September Newsletter ready  to be sent out on the 1st .

We are down to the last few days of the Summer mini HERE  which ends  Tuesday  Aug 31, 2010 .Plus new  items have been added  to the clearance rack HERE.

I also wanted to let you all know I have  BLOG CANDY  coming Monday  & Tuesday because of  2 exciting days ...

1st exciting day was on Aug 16th  which  was my 4 year Blog Anniversary 

2nd  Exciting Day  will be  Tuesday  which will be our  22nd Wedding Anniversary.

Paper Flower video

Hi Stampers :

Today I will be  showing you  this paper flower  and imagine  my Gasp  when I noticed (  of course after I filmed todays  video)  that  the Pop up glue dots are no longer available  from Stampin'Up! . 

 But  I am still posting  the  video  cause I mentioned  HERE  that I would show  you  all on how I made them ..

Trust me  I tried dimensionals and also sticky  strip  to make  them and the Pop up glue dots ( The big  gooey ones ) are what works the very best ! 

So if  you were lucky enough to get the Pop up glue dots before they retired   this last June  then  you  can make  these right along with me today  ..  I am sure you can get  the pop up glue dots  else where.  I  just do not know where at  this time .. ( sorry )

Father In Laws Birthday card...

Hi Stampers :

I made this Birthday card for my Father In law. His Birthday is also  on the same day as our Wedding Anniversary  so  it's very easy to remember  Plus he is a big Harley fan as well , so of course I had  to use the Motorcycle  stamp#117657  from the Summer mini HERE

I must admit  I usually have a  hard  time  making a "man" card  But  this one was  alot of  fun to make .

I was going for the aged look ( No pun intended Dad .)   but  for some reason  this card looks just perfect for that man that likes  to work on bikes  and gets a little messy ~ if  you know what I mean :)

I sponged on  lots of Early Espresso classic ink #119670 pretty much on everything on my card .

I also used the Top Note  bigz die # 113463 with the Newsprint Designer paper # 117166 which I added the outside   border  piece to the inside of his card ( see photo) ..

The Happy Birthday greeting is from the Perfect Punches stamp set # 120561 and punched that out  with the  2" X 1 3/8" Oval punch #119859 ( known in the past as the Wide Oval punch )

The inside greeting  is from the Full of Life stamp set # 111500 and I also added  some cogs from the Cogs punch # 118873

I also added some Early Espresso 1/8" taffeta ribbon # 119959 and also  some Silver Brads #104336

Spooky Sparkle ..

Todays card may not be really Spooky But it sure does sparkle. 

 LOVE IT!!

The colors I used  for todays  card are as follows :

I took my  2-way glue pen # 100425 and scribbled  across the Whisper White part of my card  and then added  Dazzling Diamonds # 102023

The Stamp set is called Wicked Cool # 120600  I also used the Bitty Bat punch # 119279.

Then I added some doodle dots with my White Gel Pen # 105021

Christmas Bells ..

Hi Stampers :

Here is a Brand new stamp set  from the Holiday mini  called Bells & Boughs LOVE IT! 

This stamp set is  sooo Beautiful  and  the  Designer paper  Deck the Halls is  sooo amazing  also.

I used the Scallop trim border punch #118402  and  then added  the 2 way  glue pen  to the scallops  then sprinkled  Gold  glitter  from the the Fine Galaxy  glitter pack  # 114286

1st time I  got  to use the 1/8" Taffeta ribbon in Early Espresso #119959.

Spooky ...

Hi Stampers :

Today I have  another  sneak peek for you of new goodies that will be in  the new  Holiday mini  starting Sept 1st, 2010.

I  just love this stamp set Wicked Cool #120600.

 I  think every image in  the set is sooo stinkin adorable  But  the  1st one I inked up to make  my  card  was the  cute witches boots and  the Spooky  stamp is  sooo  too .

Spooky which fits perfectly in the 1 3/4" X 7/8" Large  Oval punch #119855  But I used  the NEW  2 1/2" circle punch for the main image  and  sponged  around  the circle  with Crumb Cake classic ink #121030.

Guess  What ?  

This new 2 1/2" circle   punch is in the Holiday mini   along  with those fabulous Glitter brads  ( Concord Crush)  from the In Color Glitter Brads  collection . LOVE them !!

Plus Look at the Brand new Waffle Paper .  OH my  goodness this  stuff is  sooo FABULOUS!  Seriously  this waffle paper is  sooo much fun to play with. Waffle Paper is  just one more of the Amazing items  that will be  in the new Holiday mini .  

I used the black Waffle paper for my card  today  which  tells  you  1 thing ... Yup  there are more colors in Waffle Paper too that will be available in  the Holiday mini for all your Holiday  projects  . LOVE IT!

This is  the Brand new Designer paper called Cane Candy Christmas  which will be  in  the New Holiday mini   which starts Sept 1st .. The red  glitter is already on  this  sheet  of DSP  and  wowzie  it's Gorgeous .

The Stamped image is  from  the Holiday mini as well . The new  stamp set is called Seasonal Sentiments .

Dawns Sunday Share 8-15-2010

Hi Stampers :

 Happy Sunday  Friends !

Yesterday  Jessie & Kayla headed out on  their  road trip .They reached  their destination~Praise God !

 Also Yesterday Ken  left for College . I think this  whole road  trip was planned  around Jess for that sad day  IMHO .

So I have the whole house to myself  What shall a Gal do ?? Stamp of course  ( DUH) 

 Sad news  for myself  this upcoming  week.  This  Tuesday I will be  going  to the dentist  to have my  1st ever  Crown  done .. YIKES!!  It seems  that my back moler  has a  hairline crack  and the Crown will fix this . Praise God I don't need a root canel or I would really  be freaking out ..   

So any  stories  you  would like  to share  with me if you had  a Crown done  would be greatly appreciated .. Of  course  I would prefer happy  stories  But I will brace myself  for those terrible ones as well ...

Here is a photo of Jessie taken a week or so ago  when she  was with her friends  .. I just love this photo of her .

Seriously  when Michael sang this song live in concert last Sunday night I was in tears,  Such a powferful  song ( LOVE IT!!)  Everyone was singing  and Praising  God !! Christmas Card with Brayer video ....

Hi Stampers :

Todays video we will be making this card I posted early this week .

But  the only  difference is  that todays  video card I will be adding dazzling diamonds  instead of the Silver Glass  video( see photo below)  .

 Stampin' Up!  rules are  that we not  able to show  brand new items on video until they are released,  soooo since the New Silver Glass glitter  will not  be available  until the Holiday mini goes live  on Sept 1, 2010  I use Dazzling Diamonds for my card  today,  which I think  it's still so pretty.

  I could have  used Silver Glitter from the Chunky Essentials  glitter pack #108797 But  thought using Dazzling Diamonds # 102023 would give it a totally different  look .

The Glitter is only  the icing on the cake  anyway since the main thing I want to show you is how I used my brayer for the background  layer.

For my ribbon I used Black Satin ribbon 117285 & Rich Razzleberry Taffeta  ribbon #119966  adhered them together  and  made this adorable ribbon wave for my card,then  sealed if off with a brand new Silver Glitter Brad.

Spooky House of Haunts ...

  Halloween & Christmas  are my most favorite Holidays  to create  for .

I used my  watercolored paper#105019  with my aqua painter #103954 and reinkers ( colors listed below )  for the background of my spooky house ,which the house  and greeting are  from the stamp set  House of Haunts # 115574

Hi Stampers :

Here is another Christmas card . It seems really odd  to make a Christmas card in August .

I used my Brayer  for the background  of my card  today  I used Bashful Blue  and Marina Mist ink .. and Just look at all the  glitter ~IT'S NEW ~YAHOO!!

 Brand new glitter in the Holiday mini  is coming  Sept 1st  and  You all know I love that :)  This one is called  Silver  Glass Glitter  and  they also have Champagne  Glass Glitter  OMG~  Love it  sooo very much !!

I  sprinkled  the  glass glitter on top of the Tomboy multi  glue #110755 along the edges of the whipser white layer  BOY  does this card sparkle  Ooooo Weeeeee just Beautiful ..

I will  have a video soon on how I used the brayer for my background on my card stay tuned  for that .

The  stamp set is called Come  to Bethleham #120591 on page 43 in the new catalog ..

 We learned this  cute  little note card  holder at Convention this year ( see photo below of the one  we made  at SU! Convention 2010 )

These are just perfect for 3" x 3"  note cards .

This holder will  hold at least (4) 3" X 3" note cards ( 2 on each side )

 I am sooo exited to show  you how we made them .

  I try and have  at least 4 Thank you note designs  for you  each month  since I have  many customers  who place multiple orders with me  and I don't  want  them getting the  same Thank you note  over and over again  so you  will recieve  this note card holder with your  4th order for August .

I just love this set  called Make  a Monster # 120606 and here are  a couple cute  note cards ..

NOPE  these are not this months thank you notes  . Stay tuned  for those  this Thursday  ~ They are super cute :)

For my August  Thank you notes I put my hubby  to work  for me while he was home .  He did all the punching   and I must say he  did a FABULOUS  job ( Thank you Honey )

For my cards  today I  added Dazzling Diamonds # 102023  around the edges  and  WOWZIE it  makes  them even better IMHO ( In My Humble Opinon )

 The  greetings on  both cards  is from the Fabulous new set called Fabulous Phrases # 120501

Love the font of these  sweet words  and there are so many  words to choose from .

The Smile card I used the Daffodil Delight marker #119677 and the Fabulous card I used Pear Pizzazz marker which is  in the In color Marker pack # 119801

Got Treats ....

Hi Stampers : 

Halloween  is right  around the corner  and I  thought I would  use one of my new stamp sets I got  called Got Treats # 120627  . Such a fun set  and it has  so many fun images  . LOVE IT!

 I separated  the Got Treats from the pumpkin image  to get more stampin mileage  with it .

I used Tangerine Tango #111349 and  Peach Parfait #119794  card stock   along with Black card stock #121045 . The pumpkin  is punched out with the 1 3/8"circle punch #119860 and layered on to 1 3/4" scallop circle punch # 119854

My Hubby is  going back  to Iraq today  Hopefully the next time he comes home will be for good UNLESS he gets  the "other" job he applied for over in Kuwait .

Convention was so Amazing .

This year  Awards night  was held Thursday July 22nd  and I had my Hubby and daughter there  this year  which made it even  more special for me .
