Happy 1st day of September friends !
Hard to believe it's September already .
Yesterday we celebrated our 25th anniversary and look what Hubby gave me . My ring has a new ( BIG) Diamond ( most of you remember a couple years ago I lost the diamond riding down I-75 on Hubby's Harley) PLUS a 25th anniversary band to go with it .
I have been taking so many pictures of my beautiful ring But the photos don't turn out very well BUT I think these 2 photos capture all the sparkle ~ some what .

This week I will be taking my rings in to get soldered together
I gave him new Leather Chaps and a new waterproof jacket for next years Hoka Hey ride to Alaska . I LOVE you Honey!
Yesterday we also celebrated my Father in Law's 69th Birthday . We all went to Arts Beats and Eats in Royal Oak with our Jessie and Pat for the afternoon .
This last week I had my 6 month check in on my leg and everything looks Great. Next check in will be my 1 year Anniversary in Feb.
This last weekend we had our 1st Fried Turkey OMG! so so yummy we made a 12 lb turkey and it cooked in less than 45 minutes and was the best turkey we have ever had .
I have a feeling fried turkey is going to be made alot around here .
Our Neighbors dog ( Logan) comes over to visit us often and he is such a cutie and looks so much like our Bowzer . Well here he is chilling out in our garage while we were making the Turkey I laugh every time I see him lay down with his legs spread out behind him so funny .
This week we are having a Glitter Queens Blog Hop.

This past Thursday our Shelli Gardner had a Horse riding accident and she fell and fractured her wrist, pelvis, and collarbone .

congratulations on your anniversary. the ring is beautiful and wear it in good health. i love your blog and read or check on it everyday . also kept an eye on your hubbies trip. he was near us in upstate newyork.glad he made it home safe.

Congratulations on your 25th! Great ideas what you both did. Turkey looks great! We’ve been doing that for years and love it. FYI – we also make stuffing balls to deep fry after the turkey is done. I mix up 2 boxes of Stove Top Stuffing in a bowl with melted butter and an egg or two to hold the stuffing together. Stick it in the refrigerator for about 1/2 hour. Just before the turkey is done, roll the stuffing into balls with your hands. After turkey is out, drop the stuffing balls in for no more than a minute. They will be crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Everybody loves them that way when we serve them!
You rock everything you do. You gave us the number for the new punch board but there is no link or price…would love to see it next week. Thanks for all you do.
Dawn your ring is fantastic and to die for. LOL. It really sparkles. Don’t you just love the glitz and sparkle of a diamond. You guys give each other fantastic gifts. Happy Anniversary to both of you and many many more years to come. Right. ha ha ha

P.S. You are 1 year behind me, our 26th anniversary was Aug 29th, which we spent apart since I took 2 vacation days to take the kids up north for the Labor Day weekend before Alayna started school.
