Here is a Fathers day card I made just like the Graduation card we made HERE .
This one went to my Father in Law in TN .
This upcoming week Hubby is heading to New York for the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge At this point I am not sure I will be going with him to the starting line .
We had plans for me to go BUT I haven't been doing to great phyiscally with my RA . My hands have been so swollen lately and I have no idea why except maybe it's because I was off all my meds while my leg healed from my fall back in Feb and then this last Monday I cut my leg on my car door so I am off my meds again so that can heal . I ended up taking off my wedding ring which is normally alittle big but it got so tight on Friday I had to get it off .
I was suppose to see my RA doctor tomorrow but he is out of town so I need to reschedule with them tomorrow instead of going(enter Dawn's sad face)
I can not even make a fist with my hands and stamping well that has only been happening on good days . I have been saying it was maybe the weather and how crazy its been but now I have really no clue why I am having such a bad flare up for the last couple weeks.
I have projects lined up for you even if I do decide to go at the last minute so don't forget to check in and see all the goodies .
Yesterday I randomly picked the Hoka Hey sponsorship name and
Cindy Haydon

Thank you all who sponsored him this year . He got the GPS tracker hooked up on his bike again same number ( #725 ) this year and wait till you see what he has put down for his occupation this year . Hopefully they put in what he requested LOL!

He is ONLY a 1 year younger than me BUT with my birthday in January and his in November that's like another year and trust me he doesn't let me forget I am his "older " woman Hee! Hee!

We are offically on our way home from Fiji this morning . They always say it would be so awesome to live the same day twice .. Well today we will get to do that since we will be arriving back home before the time we left Fiji .
That whole time change is still a little crazy with my mind . I will be happy to be home in the eastern time zone and no guessing what day / time it is back home .
I will share photos from our fabulous time in Fiji with all of you this upcoming week if all goes as planned .
Looks at these cutties Ashley & Ryan from Health Quest .
I took my camera in and took a few photos of my 2 favorite people (Ashley & Ryan ) .
My Last day of therapy was suppose to be this past Friday but my RA was flared up due to all this rain and Thunder storms we have been having so my offical last day will be this upcoming Tuesday
I am so Thankful for Ashley and Ryan pushing me through all the pain and tears 3 times a week for the last 7 weeks .
Here is the fancy tool Ashley uses on me ( Not sure what she calls it ) every time to help break up the scar tissue/ swelling . It's not one of my favorite tools she uses since its painful but it does work ( Praise God ! ) Here she is using it on my hamstrings which are still very swollen .
I am still amazed it been 10 weeks since the accident / surgery . Sometimes I think wow It's ONLY been 10 weeks ( 2 1/2 months) and then other times it seems like a lifetime ago . Next week when I am in Fiji I have alittle something being delivered to the both of them thanking them for everything they did to help me in my recovery .
I am not at 100% in my walking ~ still 100% better than where I was BUT I feel as though I am still "thinking " while I walk does that make sense ? I still have swelling BUT Praise God I have a leg to think about while walking and that it is swollen :) .

This past Thursday was a really fun night that's because my Glitter Queen Megan had her open house / 1st workshop . I was going to support her and of course to have some stamping fun !
I took alot of photos of our fun time together and Look how cute Megan is ...
Something pretty cute happened a week or so before her open house Megan was coming over to get a few things to use for her party and she told her daughters that they were going to my house and her daughter said
" She is a live person "
"We are going to HER house "
How cute is that ..Megan said when she watches my videos both of her girls watch too and I guess thinking I was a live person or that they could actually come to my house was alittle over the top for them .. So cute !
Something pretty fun happened at Megans open house too. I met 2 of my blog followers at Megan's ( Patty & Karen )
~ Small world ~I tell ya .
Patty shown in photo with Megan and I we took this photo for her mom Sally because she follows my blog too~ a BIG shout out to Momma Sally .
Karen is in the group photo above wearing pink . Hi Karen & Patty and all the wonderful gals from Megans Thursday night . We had so much fun!
Oh and look what kind of water Megan had at her party ... Hummm wonder if she was thinking of me LOL!
I will share the projects we made at Megans tomorrow ( super cute)
Yesterday Jessie and Pat came over and Jessie cut my hair and painted my toe nails ..Purple of course :)
Yesterday was suppose to be an all day stamping day for me well that didn't happen Plus all the rain is making my hands hurt, Hopefully I can have one day this upcoming week to stamp and get things lined up for when I am away .. leaving in 11 days .
My leg is doing good still lots of swelling and I have my last week of therapy this upcoming week . I started using the tread mill last Wednesday and I started using a Bosu ball to build strength in my leg .
Here is my Sunday Share video for you .
P.S Here is something pretty exciting .. a sneak peek of what's coming in the new catalog .

I had another little milestone last night ... We went out to see a movie . I know it's not much But for me sitting for longer than an hour ~ this was kind of a big deal :).
This past Thursday I got a package from SU! for our trip to Fiji at the end of this month . The Luggage tags are so super cute .
This past Wednesday I got to 115 degrees in my knee bend . Still lots of swelling which is hendering my bend . Ashely says the swelling will come down in time could take up to a year . I have my 9 week follow up with my doctor tomorrow I am excited to see what he thinks .
Yesterday we had our taxes done . A little late this year due to my leg mishap but still done before the April 15th deadline YAHOO!
Speaking of my leg here is an updated photo of what it looks like now . This was taken last Thursday March 28, 2013 I am still amazed at how great it looks .
I would have never guessed it would look this good with what it started out looking like 8 weeks ago HERE Yikes !!!
Here is a little sneak peek of my classroom hubby is doing for me. I am so excited ! He just put the lights up into the tray ceiling and OH my goodness it is sooo bright we may need to wear sunglasses while stamping LOL!
I have been making a video on this journey but change of plans we will only be doing the classroom as of right now since we need a new roof on our house this summer and that takes priority .
So I will be posting the video of what has been done on the classroom part in the near future . Still have a few things to do flooring /trim /doors but will share it as soon as it's done .
Tomorrow I will be finishing up my April newsletter which will be sent out Tuesday morning . Boy I missed making my newsletter for you this February & March ... But I'm getting back on track one step at a time right ? Praise God !
Also a quick update :
The Single stamps HERE will now be available until July 31,2013
I had one of those priceless moments this past Friday morning . I have to rewind back to the day I fell on January 31, 2013 .
When hubby got me in the car and was driving me to the ER I thought I had better call my Doctor that did my 2 knee replacements back in 2005/2007 ( Dr Nichols ) . When I called his office I told his secertary I had fell and did something to my knee/leg and she mentioned he was in surgery and to head to the ER .
When I arrived to the ER within 25 minutesDr Nicholas came to see me and all I remember ( due to the medication) is him telling me there was no way he would be able to fix my leg and that he would find someone who would .
My hubby told me Dr Nicholas stayed there with me/us for over an hour to get me stable and also got the doctors who would do my surgery and also got everything in line for the ambulance ride to the other hospital. Dr Nicholas also got my leg into a stablizer for the ambulance ride . Praise God for Dr Nicholas . Having a familuar face there with us in the ER and taking me under his wing to help when he didn't have to ... Now thats what I call Above and Beyond .
This past Friday we went to see Dr Nicholas and I hugged him and Thanked him for everything he did and he said it was no problem and I gave him the card I posted above with alittle gift inside . He looked at my leg and was amazed how wonderful it looked . After our quick little visit we both hugged again with all three of us (Hubby , Dr Nicholas and I) having tears in our eyes .
I am so very Thankful for the people who have been taking care of me and for all those people who are put into my path for whatever reason I hope I also become one of those people that go above and beyond . There is a Purpose for everything and I want my purpose to mean something for God and to touch lives, Just like Dr. Nicholas did for me and my family . You know what's even better ? He ( Dr. Nicholas ) had no idea he was doing something that meant so much to us . He just thought it was normal/ just the right thing to do .
Praise God for all those people out in the world that Just do the right thing without even knowing it or knowing anyone else would notice . No matter if NO one notices the right things we do, Just know God see's it ALL and that's all that truly matters !
I am so happy I could tell Dr. Nicholas face to face how much I appreciated all he did for me and my family.
Stamp set used on todays card is called
Open Sea
(w)#123030
(c) #123032
One in a Million stamp set
(w)# 126380
(c)# 126382
Some of the items used on todays card are no longer available since I used the same card posted HERE I just changed a few things to give it to Dr. Nicholas ( Love this card ) .
Also this past Friday I found out I got (4 ) more weeks of Physical Therapy Praise God ! I also reached 111 degrees in my bend and I am offically now working on the leg press machine YAHOO!
I Still have alot of swelling BUT I did finally get into my jeans for the 1st time last week . I can't tell you how Great that felt too . Yeah my right leg is snug in them jeans BUT Hey I really don't care ~ just sayin ~ LOL! When I told Ashley she even high fived me .. Yeah we do that alot at therphy too ~ LOTS of milestone happening !
Here is my Sunday Share ~ AWESOME!
P.S I love HUGS too :)
If you subscribe to my blog feed Please click HERE to view todays Sunday Share video ~ you will be glad you did :) .
Last night we had our stampers club get together . OH boy did I need this . It is so much fun hanging out with all my girls and stamping / laughing /crying . We missed you Holly & Laurie .
My club girls were also the 1st to see my hubby's handy work in my new classroom he has been working on . All the dry wall is up and it already looks so AWESOME!
This morning I will be going to church for the 1st time in 7 weeks I am not sure how I will be during church with the sitting~ We shall see .
This week I will be posting some of the goodies I have made over that last week or so .
I found out it isn't so much my hip thats causing my sitting problems but more my hamstring . I swear I feel like I have been getting a crash course in all my leg parts and how they are all connected .
I am going to be starting my 4th week of out patient and Ashley will be submitting another perscription for an extended PT not sure how much longer ... but I am thinking maybe 3 more weeks~ IDK yet .
Apparently in home care and out patient are 2 totally different services so that's good for me .I am currently at 105 degrees on my bend and still so much swelling .
We had some snow Friday / Saturday and this has cause a flare up with my RA . If it's not one thing it's another I tell ya .
My hands are so puffy and swollen I can hardly bend my fingers . But if this is like any flare up's in the past by the 4th day everything should be okay .
Have a Wonderful Sunday friends and Happy St. Pattys day !
Right off the bat I would like to Thank & Praise God for getting me through the last 5 weeks . For all of you who have went through a surgery you may have felt like how I was feeling .
Down in the dumps/ Pitty Party / Crying / Emotional roller coster .
My Mom had mentioned to me well you know you are getting close to that whole COL ( HOLD on are you kidding me .. One thing at a time please !!
Okay we are fast forwarding to this past week...
or should I say rewinding ?
Whatever "IT" was~ it lifted and I feel MARVELOUS! well not 100% back to normal but seriously so much better. I wonder if it is all the medication they gave me in the hospital IDK But I do remember I felt like this with both knee replacements too. It just didn't last as long as this time ... maybe it was the trauma with this one ~ I wish I knew ~ whatever it is I do NOT like it !
It all started last week when I was told by my PT girl ( Ashley) I should start practicing driving YAHOO!
So this was my practicing ... I asked hubby to go with me around the subdivision so I could see if everything was good to go and well it didn't quite make it around the sub ( just mainly down the road out of the sub LOL) cause the next thing I hear hubby saying is ... well I guess you practiced enough cause we were on the main road LOL! It was amazing and YES I was alittle EXCITED ( Alot excited) Praise God!
Also on Tuesday Ashley told me to lose the cane I kinda looked at her weird and thought really ?? you sure ? It's my secruity.. she just shock her head yes and smiled . Praise God!
This past Friday I got my knee to bend at 100 degrees I seriously started to cry and we high fived each other . I am so very Thankful .
This past week I also got to ride the stationary bike at PT. I rode it for 5 mins and the 1st minute or so I couldn't quite get it up and over the hump to petal ( was told that's normal) but then once I rocked it a bit then Up and over it went ( What a feeling ) I don't know why in my mind I assoicate that Bike and driving with I am getting better . Don't get me wrong both are BIG things BUT like Ryan at therapy said we are not ready to run around the block yet LOL! YEAH -YEAH -YEAH .
Trust me Ryan is not a debbie downer just a realist and he knows how excited I was to ride the bike so the running around the block was more of a joke .. Like I am going to do that..1st of all I do NOT run LOL!
So the other morning I am watching myself walk in my mirror and notice my right foot is pointing in slightly . I am not sure if its me seeing things or what .
I ask hubby and he said yes it is just slightly .
At therapy I am talking to Ashley she she working on the deep rub / and my scar tissue and she asks me what my least favorite excerise is ?? ( She does this to get my mind off the pain of the deep rub ) OH yes there is 1 that I will call the leg torture .
I am not even sure what they call it BUT think of it as a leg lift to the side BUT laying down on your good side on a table with your back / butt / head right up against the wall and bending your good leg then with your bad leg toes pointing down then slide it up and down the wall as many times as you can . I can only do 18-20 and 20 is pushing it . Ashley said everyone Hates ( even those that are very active in working out hate it too) that one it really works your quads and your hips .
Still having a hard time sitting for long periods of time in that whole quad/hip area but that will get better too .
The video below is what it is BUT I slide my foot on an acrylic wall which is behind me with my butt and shoulders against the wall . It seriously BURNS! by the time PT is all done I will let you know what my count is on this one . Hopefully it will be better than 20 in a few weeks.
So while we were chatting about that I mentioned to her that I think my foot is slightly turned inward and she said it's because of my hip/ quad everything in that area was to be built back up and is still weak . so I asked her what excerise helps that and she gives me the head nod towards the leg torture area . Oh great! Her and Ryan both tell me it is all still so fresh from surgery and it will get alot better in time . so now Ashely has me doing the slides in sets of 5 and then resting instead of sets of 10 and I must admit it still BURNS like crazy but it was slightly better on Friday.
My most favorite time of PT is the Ice and E-Stim machine for 15 mins . After 2 hours of PT I can NOT wait for Ashley or Ryan to say are you ready for ice Ahhhh YEAH!! Hello my best friend ! Ashley is looking into me getting the E stim machine for me to use at home even if I have to rent it I would be willing to do that but really would love to buy one or maybe my Ins. will cover it we shall see. hopefully this week we will find out .
Notice all my stri-strips are off ( yahoo!) BUT there is one spot at the very bottom of my leg that had a scab which fell off after Ashleys rub down ...so I have another stri strip on that to help bring that together and close up .
My Scar is looking for Fabulous :) . It's funny when looking at it~it seems to be starting to fade in parts . The inside by my knee cap and just above are still very tender areas and OUCHIE when the deep rub takes place still . The whole right side of my outter knee area is totally numb.
Thank you all for your prayers, your well wishes and cards / gifts . I can not express how grateful I am. I am truly Blessed with your friendship and thoughtfulness.
I filmed a video for you this upcoming week Plus I have my club girls coming over this next Saturday so yesterday was a fun stamping day But I did over do it a tad .
I did get (2) club projects designed and a video filmed Just need to pre -cut everything this upcoming week for Saturday .
Very soon we will be back to 2 videos a week ( Thursdays and Fridays) Thank you all for your patience through all this . I wish I could HUG all of you !!
I am all caught up on my Thank you notes from January 31, 2013 - current PLUS I have mailed all our New Glitter Queens welcome packets out ( finally) so sorry for the delay .
Thank you for picking me to be your SU! Demonstrator .
Here is my Sunday Share video . I love this commercial it reminds me of our Jessie when she was little and Bowzer
Have a Wonderful Sunday friends !
PS I have started a category for all my leg stuff if you want to get caught up on what happened click HERE
I wish I had done that with my last knee replacement surgery so I could compare all of this now to that one.
The posts will still be in my Sunday Share categories BUT you will have to scroll through all my Sunday shares to get to those about my leg .
Oh my goodness can you believe it is only (17) days till the 1st day of Spring . I am thinking by the way our winter has been this far we may not be in the warmer temps and snow free even if the calenders says we should be .
Either way just saying it makes me feel better already .
I thought I would share with you the photo we took the day I arrived in the ER and when they ended up having to cut my jeans off of me as you can tell my right leg is really swollen compared to the left . Here is another photo of what my jeans looks like after all the cutting was finished .
I ended up keeping them since they were my favorite jeans and hubby said we will get me another pair just like them later .
I am happy to report I survived my 1st week of out patient therapy . I got (3 ) more weeks (3) times a week . I was quite surprise how much the word spread around the office that when I came in on Thursday 4 therapists wanted to see my X-rays and were also amazed that I wasn't in a cast .They all said they don't see what happened to me very often.
The most painful part so far of therapy is when Ashley works on my scar tissue around my knee cap inside thigh YEWWW sends me to the moon I tell ya ....But when she works on my outer thigh muscle rubbing that~ feels amazing! So you know that old saying Good with the Bad right ? LOL! swear she has the boney-ist fingers in the world and gets right down the business .
Thank goodness for all the warm up excerises I do for 30 or so mins before she gets me . Then the ice down is also a top favorite .
I must say we have gone through so much ice in the Griffith home . I do not remember using this much ice with my past knee replacements . Frozen peas and frozen popcorn kernals don't last as long as regular ice . Thank goodness for Sams Club 20 lb ice bags which lasts almost a week .
On Friday I got my bend to 97 degrees and I am so excited about that ...BUT I still have so much swelling in my leg .
Click HERE for a updated photo of my leg and what it looks like as of yesterday evening The Stri-strips are coming off now . It looks So much betterto me now and its amazing there is no itching,But where is does itch is behind my knee which is weird.
Yesterday I was hoping to get a video filmed for this upcoming week for you But Fridays PT had me icing alot and laid up for most of the day yesterday and standing while I film wasn't looking to promising . Maybe today will be better.
Day #24 ~ 3 weeks post surgery. Tomorrow I have my follow up with Dr. Hubers and if all goes as planned I will be starting out patient theraphy Tuesday .
Out patient means working on big equipment ( Treadmill/ Bike/ Leg press machine etc..) to get my leg/thigh ( quad) better . Leslie said I should have out patient theraphy for 4 weeks possible 6.
My 8 visits with Leslie ended this past Friday and she got me to 92 degrees bend on my knee YAHOO!
Last Saturday I stopped taking Xarelto and started aspirin theraphy Sunday and will be on that until March 1, 2013. Very thankful I didn't have to do Coumadin or Heparin and that also ment NO blood draws with Xarelto . So this makes me a very happy camper :).
I am sleeping alittle better now and going down stairs PRAISE GOD! .
I go downstairs only when someone is here with me. It's feels so GREAT to be in my Stamping space again . But then again any change of scenery from laying in bed all day... even sitting in my living room is such a blessing.
I have been making my Feb Thank you notes and getting caught up (Thank you again for picking me to be your demonstrator and your patience through all this with me.)
Hubby did get me out of the house Thursday and took me out to dinner. That was AMAZING too. We figured we should do a test run getting out since we will be going out to see the Dr. on Monday and Snow was coming Friday... so Thursday was the day .
Thank you all again for all your well wishes and Prayers . I love you all .
P.S Hubby has been downstairs working on my stamping room . I actually started a video back in Oct 2012 and adding to it as progress is made in the new stamping area . We figure it may take a year or so to finish but we will have it all on video to post when it is all done .
So far hubby has started on the trey ceiling and also drywalled my tanning bed area and also closed off the furnace area which will be for Christmas storage and his workshop .
Well it is day #17 and I must say I am feeling better every day . Still need my walker when walking & haven't left the house since I came home from the hospital .
I haven't been able to sleep well at night seems I have a hard time getting comfortable . My PT girl says this is totally normal and should get better by week 3 .
I want to send you all BIG hugs for all your wonderful cards /gifts I have recieved . You all make me smile . I will be sharing more of your beautiful cards and gifts this upcoming week
My PT girl ( Leslie ) says this upoming week we may be trying the stairs YAHOO! I mentioned to her once she got me down there I may not want to come back up. She is actually pretty excited to see my stamping room too ... NOT as excited as me though !!!!
For Valentines Day Hubby got my a new Pandora Braclett charm and said he went in and asked if they have a Broken Femur charm ~ Nope~ so he got me the next best thing .... A Wish Bone How sweet is that ( see photo) .
We both laughed even though we both do NOT need anything to remind us of all this for a very long time ...But the Wish Bone makes it sweet .
After I told Jessie what Daddy got me she said he should have asked if they had a Zipper charm LOL! ... OH my I swear those two think so much alike it's scary .
Besides the Beautiful Charm he also got me 2 dozen roses and he also stopped at the Bakery and picked up Fresh Baklava and Cannoli .
Jessie and Pat came over Friday and made us dinner ( Chicken tacos YUMMY) and while Hubby and Pat went out to Bass Pro shop Jessie and I got to hang out and she did my hair and painted my toe nails.
I am still ashamed of how ugly my toes were YIKES! but they are super cute now ready for my 3 week check up with the surgen on Monday the 25th.
The Bruises on my hands and arms are just now starting to fade Praise God!
The staples came out Thursday and Thank Goodness my PT girl said to Ice up really good beforehand I have about 20 or so that were embeded and hurt pretty bad when coming out .
I kept them ( see photo) maybe we can think of something to make with 83 staples ...
It was such a relief to get the staples out. ClickHERE for the photo with the staples out .
Friday we got my knee to bend at 80 degrees now mind you that is NOT me doing all the bending BUT my PT girl Leslie doing 90% of it. But it will come one day .
Thursday was also the 1st day I put my tennis shoes on and WOW that was super great . Hubby is still helping me in and out of the shower Praise God !
One of my best things through all this has been my leg lifter . With my past Knee replacements I used my Robe belt to help lift my leg But since then they have come out with this fancy leg lifter .
I thought I would post for my Sunday Share on what all happened with my leg. Seems there was a little confusion on what happened since my hubby and daughter were both trying to keep everyone updated on face book.
Hubby and I were walking across the parking lot and I fell Thursday morning . I seriously thought I went down so gracefully but when I looked up & seen my hubby's face I knew something was really wrong Plus I couldn't feel my right leg at all . When I looked at my leg below my knee it was laying to the right of my thigh bent backwards .
Hubby some how got me in my car and drove to the hospital, and while driving my leg kept getting bigger but still no pain( yet) .
Once we got to the hospital they had to get me out of my car . They got me on a stretcher and wheeled me in to the ER cut my jeans off and put in IV then called my Doctor who did my knees back in 2005/ 2007 .
My Doctor came in and said he looked at the X rays and said he would not be able to do the surgery that it was way out of his league. he recommened (2) specialist one for reconstructive and one for Trama surgery .Praise God I had both doctors work on my leg .
The Xray showed I broke my FemurBUT my knee replacement from 2005 was in place and didn't break BUT where the femur broke there was nothing to attach a hindge to my knee to my femur . It was Shattered
The next step was to put my leg in Traction and get the femur straight enought for surgery .
Click HERE for another photo. Just know that it is gauze wrapped around the pins in that photo That's all with a Black marker I assume that marks the bottom of my knee or something ..
Next they had to drill into my bone with 2 pins and putting 20lb weights at the end of my bed to stretch my femur ( see photo) All this took place that day Thursday Jan 31, 2013 .
Friday Dr Hubers came in and said he was hoping to get me into surgery at 2 or 4pm Friday turned out surgery was at 4ish and I remember waking up in my room at 12:45 am Saturday..
I ended up with at least a 13 inch incesion with 80 staples (Click HERE for that photo) , a brand new larger knee replacement and a Hindge w/a new rod that goes up 5 inches into my femur Plus I needed 2 units of blood Plus Lots of Bruises on my arms and leg.
I seriously felt like a pin cushion with IV / blood draws/ drain tube/ Staples etc... All that to say PRAISE GOD I still have my leg.
I am currently have a home nurse come in 2 times a week and a Physical Therapist 3 times a week . I am not able to sit very long and or walk or do stairs ( Stamping studio is down stairs).doing most of my excerises in bed ankle bends / butt squeezes /knee presses and lots of ice for swelling .
I will be getting my Staples removed this upcoming Thursday . Looks like I need to be well iced for that proceedure. My follow up with my surgen will be the Feb 25th .
I am able to walk to the kitchen and back to bed and of course to the bathroom with a walker .
I want to thank you all for your sweet comments / cards/ well wishes and prayers . I still find it hard to even look at my leg with all the stitches seems like it really isn't my leg or it's something out of a horror film~maybe it will be better after the staples come out ... we shall see .
One thing that Blessed me was that all of you know me and know that I am consistent in posting to my blog and when this all happened you all knew something was wrong since I had not posted in a few days . I can't make promises about my blog postings during my recovery But I will try.
Hubby had his MRI and everything is fine just a little inflamation. The Doctor gave him some Motrin Praise God ! Thank you for your prayers.
Hubby and I filmed a stamping video this past Thursday night and OH my goodness it's so funny ! The video ended up being 18 minutes long but I got it down to 14 minutes . I will share that video with you this week.
We may have created a monster because after we filmed the video he said "We should do this at least once a month", I looked at him and said OH really now LOL!
Did you know ? The post office is raising their prices tomorrow. You can click this link HERE to view new prices .
Here is my Sunday Share for you today .
I have another video for you BUT it's 1 hour and 10 minutes, If you find some extra time today watch it . It's AMAZING!!
Last night we had our stampers club meeting and Holly was our hostess . I will share her hostess cards I made for her tomorrow .
We missed our girls Peggy, Laurie, & Nancy . There is always laugher and stamping fun when we get together .
My Mom has been with my Aunt Velma for the last week down in Ohio . My Uncle Ed has been in the hospital for 0ver 2 months now with something that was baffling the doctors . He has been in the hospital with what they are saying it's called "Miller Fisher Syndrome".
My Uncle Ed is very sick and the specialist that came in on Friday is saying he needs surgery but the level of surgery has to be the right decision due to his body being so weak .
My Mom and aunt Velma drove up and was looking into a speciality heath care center just down the street form us to help him get off the ventilator But between them coming to check that out and scheduling him a ambulance ride up here things took a turn for the worse and now we are all waiting . I would appreciate all your prayers for the Roe family.
This last week my hubby went to have his knee checked out and Friday he went to get an MRI and this upcoming week he will get the results of the MRI. Thank you for prayers for him too .
I have my January newsletter ready to be sent out this Tuesday . A little late for me getting this months newsletter out since I try and get it out around the 1st week of the month BUT with Sale-a-Bration coming on Tuesday I thought I would wait until then so your email box doesn't get filled up.
Please let me know if you want the Spring catalog / Sale-a-Bration Mini.
The last week or so my tire pressure on my car has been going crazy . Did you know that if you have a 2008 or newer car that the Goverment has added tire censors for the tire pressure .. They say that tire pressure is one of the leading cases of car accidents ( I did not know that ) ... Anyway the censor tells me every time the tire pressure is low which is caused due to the weather changing within 10 degrees . So as you can imagine the weather here in Michigan this last week went from 25 degrees to as high as 58 degrees yesterday so that means my tire pressure goes wacky and usually means I need to add air .
Then this past Tuesday I had the sway bars replaced on my car (under warranty Praise God!) .
The funny thing with that is we kept hearing knocking noises coming from the trunk area and they fixed it once before and said it was the tire jack in my trunk and needed to be tied down tighter but this time it was the sway bars. We are now wondering if that was it all along .
Going to the car dealership to get it fixed was super fast seriously... my drive out to the car dealership was longer than what my car was in the service dept to be fixed . I was in and out in less than 20 mins .
I thought I would share the beautiful Birthday cards I got in my mail box over the last week . The 1st one is from Shannon Kralik Love the colors she used and the banners are just adorable . Thank you Shannon !
The next card comes from Pat Lemont Love how she used the embossing folder to make it look like a basket weave . Thank you Pat !
The next card comes from Rita Santos . Love the Purple girlie and love the design of your card . Thank you Rita !
The next card comes from Becky Green . WOWZIE look at all the purple and love how she re-used the postage stamp ... so very cleaver girlie . Thank you Becky !
Next Birthday surprise comes from De Williamson she made this pot holder and adorable card and LOOK it's Purple too :) Love it! Thank you Dee !

This past Friday we celebrated my Mom's Birthday ( Thursday) and My Birthday ( Saturday ) . We went out to dinner and our Jessie had what seemed like a 2nd birthday too right along with me and my momma since we all got a new Pandora Neckless from my Momma .
My Mom got me a new Charm for her and I called "Piece of my Heart"Hubby gave me the same charm for me and Jess to share.
Here we are with our new neckless and new charms on our bracelets.
Here is my Momma with her new iphone case hubby got her and the card I made her. I will post a better photo of her card tomorrow for you .We had so much fun !
Here are a couple photos from our Christmas Family Photo shoot with Courtney. We picked up the DVD with all 85 photos yesterday .
Now we just need to narrow down which ones we want to print which will be very hard since we love them all .
Click HERE to view a few more photos . I have to say I love love Courtney's Camera~ It's AMAZING!
My Father in Law and Momma Jody headed out yesterday and should be back home in TN this morning . What a Wonderful Christmas we had with our family. That was the best Christmas gift under our tree this year.
So many goodies everywhere ... 7- Layer cookies , Pecan Pie, German Chocolate cake , Pumpkin Pie , Coconut Cream pie , Chocolate pie , Cookies .
We had our family photos taken on Thursday which we were scheduled for Wednesday but we got a LOT of snow and it was not safe for anyone to be out in that mess . Thankful Courtney could re schedule us in for Thursday and it was so much fun 2 hours of photos / couple photos / group photos etc....
As soon as we get them I will post some of them. Here is a sneak peek of one of the proof's. We had so much fun !
Speaking of SNOW Dad did something he had not done in years ... Shoveled snow (See photo)
While they were here we went to Bronners /Famous TONYS ( which we were good and we all split this HUGE Nacho). Jody & I went to Home Goods not once but twice .
One thing with this fabulous store is if you see something you really love you should get it because it won't be there the next day . Case in point Jody found these adorable nesting baskets for her Kitchen in the Christmas section which was 60% off .
There were (3) sets of baskets and she picked up 2 I mentioned to her she should just get all 3 but she only picked up 2 then by the time we got to check out she put 1 back ... fast forward ... we got home and dad said she should have got more of those for that price . We went back the next day and she did get another set BUT the 3rd one was gone, as well as the end tables she fell in love with .
We would have went to Ikea but the snow knocked out 1 day of getting out .
Hubby got my Mom & Jody a Pandora Bracelet for Christmas and Pat got Jessie a Pandora.
Dad and Hubby hooked up new heating vents in my Stamping area and my Stampin office while he was here and Hubby got me a Beautiful Computer chair ( see photo) . Dont you love his wrapping with blue duc tape? It's a guy thing LOL!
While dad & hubby went over to the rental house and put in new counter tops and the kitchen sink Friday night I did Shellac on Jody's nails and she loved it ! She picked Clearly Pink and Mother of Pearl ( glitter ) are they pretty or what ?? She has such pretty nails.
Oh and look at the rock on her finger Dad got her ! We all agree her new sparkley nails go so great with her new ring and Pandora bracelet.

I can't believe we are close to a week from Christmas & still no snow here in Michigan ( I am not complaining ) .
We are so excited about this Friday. That's because my Father in law and Jody and coming for Christmas so the Griffith house has been a little crazy getting things ready . Plus the day after Christmas we have a Photographer coming to the house to take family pictures.
We haven't done them since Jessie was little so we thought it was a great time to get that done when the family will be together .
We are having Courtney that did Jessie's Senior Pictures do them for us . She is amazing click HERE to view her website .
I thought I would share 2 of my favorite things for Christmas time wrapping ... These goodies make wrapping a breeze .
Stampin'Up! orders placed by Dec 17, 2012 should arrive in time for Christmas wrapping.
This past Friday was a year ago that our Beloved Bowzer passed away . We miss him so much I don't think a week goes by without one of us bringing him up in a conversation .
He was such a Great dog and when it came to him and dad he always thought of himself as a lap dog
( Yeah right.... a 90 lb lap dog LOL) .
When hubby came home from Iraq it was almost like he started going down hill in his health and maybe he knew Jessie and I were going to be ok now that dad was home again .
He ended up have a Tumor over his left eye and couldn't see much and his back legs were giving out and couldn't go down stairs very good. He fell off the stairs outside into our central air unit .
Such a lover boy and OH my the patience he had with Jess when she thought it would be fun to dress him up in her clothes/ bathing suit or paint his nails . I know he loved every minute of it !
We love you & miss you so much Bowzer !!
My heart is breaking with what happened in CT. this past Friday and the loss of so many little childern & adults . Please God be with all those who have lost their loved ones .
Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful . At the Griffith home Thanksgiving was Fabulous ! We had my Momma & Cousin Ruthie and her kids Kurtis and Gabbie over for Thanksgiving.
Jessie was with her boyfriend Pat and his family. They will be here for Christmas .
1st time we put up our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving with the help from the family... we actually put up 2 trees this year BUT for me it was 3 trees only because hubby and I went out on black friday to Home depot and got a new Christmas tree and thought the new one needed to replace the once we have had for years with the new pre lit Christmas Tree .
Can I just say WOW how easy is that. So the one we put up in our Living room came down Friday night and the new one went up .
The 2nd Christmas tree is upstairs
( see photos )
Guess what else happened on Thanksgiving ??
My Momma took a ride on the Harley with my hubby . She loved it !
Guess what else happened on Thanksgiving ??
My Cousin usually makes her famous Sweet Potatoes every year ... But this year I made them for the 1st time . She passed her reciepe onto me YAHOO!
Ok I have a question for all of you that have a Sleep Number bed ? Do you love it ? Does it help your back pain ? I would love to hear any feed back on this type of bed if you have one PLUS which Sleep Number bed do you have ?
This past Friday we celebrated my Wonderful Hubbys birthday .
I got him the photo ( shown above in frame ) of when he rode his Harley down the Tail of the Dragon while on the Hoka Hey this summer . All the way through the Tail of the Dragon there were cameras set up via "Killboy Photography " that were taking photos of the riders and I got him this one .
I had ordered 1 more thing for my hubby online but didn't show up so I can't say what that is just yet .
I also made my hubby such an awesome card which I will share that with you later this week .
I try and make my hubby a fancy birthday card every year and this year his reaction was exactly what I was hoping for ( insert my smiling face ) . Seriously I wasn't sure what I was more excited about him opening the framed photo or the card.
Had a great night with the family celebrating my hubby .

Last night we had an amazing time stamping and making (4) Christmas projects ... so many laughs with great friends !
I forgot to take a photo of the photo booth picture we had taken at the Halloween party we went to . That's probably because it has been on my frig all week .
It was so much fun taking this photo. The charge to take this photo was $2.00 and there must have been over 200 people at the party .
I was talking to the girl that was setting up the photo booth and it costs $450.00 to rent the booth for 4 1/2 hours. The $2.00 for the photo was added towards the costs of the rental .

Last night we went to a Halloween costume party and it was so much fun. They even had a photo booth at the party and that was alot of fun.
I will share that photo with you once I get a photo gallery open to upload all the amazing costumes people wore last night .
When we got the invite I was thinking of going as Bikers ( WOW that's orginal huh?) as time went by hubby was the one who really wanted to dress up as a couple and wanted to go all out . That was pretty cool that hubby wanted to do that BUT what do we go as ? Ok after the Biker thing didn't seem to much like really dressing up I thought we could go as Bonnie and Clyde..
But that all changed when we went to the Halloween store . We found the Prirates and I knew from the moment we saw them I wanted to be that and hubby agreed ( such a good hubby ) . 1st let me tell you costumes must have been designed for people who are size 2 even though this time last year we would have been shopping in the Plus sizes and those probably still wouldn't have fit us then .
This year however we got reg size costumes but they all still run small so then next thing was to find something long enough for hubby since he is 6'5" usually nothing at stores like the Halloween store are long enough BUT the pirate costume was AWESOME since the legs were cut off to have the boot covers come up and over YAHOO!!
Friday night I spent at least 1 hour trying to get the "smokey eye" thing down and the photos above show you what I came up with .
The really funny thing is when I posted these pictures on Face book friends were saying I looked like Cher / Katey Perry WOW maybe I should wear this wig more often LOL!Must admit It is really fun dressing upand being someone totally different .
Hey do you see the basic Rhinestone on my face ?? That was Jessie's idea
My Mom came over before we left for the party and took alot of photos of us as Pirates here are a couple of those .

Laurie was a club hostess and her she is holding her Hostess cards I made her . ( More details on those this upcoming week)
Gina came to club night dressed up since she was doing Trunk or Treat and didn't think she could make club night but she got done early and was able to make it dressed up and all .
Speaking of dressing up we were all stamping downstairs and this lady comes downstairs in her PJ's ( No idea who she was ) and says " I think I am at the wrong house " then she left .
I am not sure what all happened But she had to get past hubby 1st so maybe he thought she dressed up for us too .
Ok one more photo from last night . This one is of me and my wonderful Hubby . He was the only guy in a house full of crazy women and by the looks on his face I think he liked it :) .
A couple weeks ago Jessie has asked me to make something for her co workers and she is thinking something with Frankie .. Now I need to put my thinking cap on and get busy creating something for her to hand out .

Here is my Sunday Share video for you . LOVE LOVE LOVE it !
Lets start off today with something I did this last week for the 1st time ever in my life ... Now that it's over~ it's probably not that amazing or earth moving BUT lets start from the begining ..
Hubby left from work which is usually before 6:00am and when I get a phone call that early I usually start praying cause I know something has happened . Don't you hate those kind of ph calls? My heart sinks every time that phone rings early in the morning which doesn't happen much Thank you God!
Hubby has been driving Jessie's last car ( 2002 Grand Prix ) and well as to be expected when that phone rang he called to tell me he broke down on telegraph road. I had to go get him and the car via a Tow with his truck .
I never had to actually tow someone before so you can only imagine what I was thinking . Was I going to drive the truck or was I going to drive the car in tow ???? hubby said since the car couldn't start the power steering was out and there was no way I could drive it . so that left me driving the truck .. OH my goodness .
15 MPH down a major road in the middle of morning traffic BUT Praise God seriously It was like God blew the cars out of our way and didn't stop much at any traffic lights on our way home.. Which on a normal day driving from there would be like 12 mins tops driving 15 MPH took us close to an hour .
Praise God no one beeped at us/me cause that would have freaked me out . Seriously Why do people have to do that anyway ???
Happy to report though once we got home guess what ? The tow rope broke & the car started it just sounds like little gremlins are living under the hood . God is so AWESOME!
So thats 1 of the many things on the list to do to take it in and see if it's worth fixing ..
This last week we also recieved a new pool cover for a really great price .. But then again when hubby can do just about anything and everything that helps in the costs instead of having someone else install it .
Jessie and her B/F ( Pat) carved pumpking this last week . Can you guess who did what ?? Pretty clever HUH?
Pat's Pumpkin is the Deer and Jessie's is Minnie Mouse .
On more update: My moms new phone . I did tell you she upgraded right? and BOY did she upgrade LOL! She went from her old phone "The Brick" is what we all called it to the iphone .
She is ( good thing you're sitting down ) texting and loving everything about her new phone . We seriously NEVER thought this day would arrive & we are all so excited she finally got a new phone :) We are so proud of her stepping out of her comfort zone and getting the new phone ~ Way to go Mom!!
On a Funny note the guy at Verizon said we should donate her phone to the Antique Road show LOL! also Mom was almost forced to get a new phone in the next few months anyway... because she was having a hard time finding batteries for it ~ how funny is that ?
Hubby took me shopping at Jareds on Friday night and he bought me this new Pandora bracelet along with new silver earrings . WOW What did I do to deserve such spoiling ?? I must have done a fabulous job in that tow LOL!
Retired sets for a new home :
I have been uploading retired stamp sets to my list over the last few days . The photo above show the sets I have done and the other photo ( below) is of the sets I still need to photograph & get uploaded ( yes those boxes under the table are filled with sets that need to be uploaded too ~ YIKES! )
It may take awhile to get them all uploaded But I keep saying "baby steps" a little at a time isn't so overwhelming right ? . Those I have uploaded You can check them all out HERE .
There is also a Button/link to all my retired sets on the left hand side of my blog incase you want to check the list out later . The button says "RETIRED FOR SALE" I will be adding more sets this upcoming week .
Here are some FAQ's about the retired stamp sets :
I welcome pay pal payments and Personal Checks/ Money Orders for those items you want .
Please email me the set/s you want with the email subject line RETIRED SETS so I don't miss it ( well hopefully I don't )
I will mark the stamp sets that stampers have requested as Spoken for/ SOLD and those will not be available unless something falls through with the purchase .
I will ship the retired sets within the USA Only please .
Shipping : I will get the less expensive way to ship for you BUT if the set/s you order fit into a Flat Rate priority envelope this will be the way items will be shipped for $5.00
Clear / Wood mount sets : Since there are a mix of sets over there Clear Mount ( C) and Wood Mount ( W) it would help when you email me your request for the sets you want if you could put a C or W by the item this will make it easier for me to look it up on my hard copy list for location .
If you run your cursor over the photo it should show if the stamp set is spoken for/ sold. I will try and keep the updated
I am unable to embed todays Sunday Share video. Trust me it's worth the click .
Last night I had a Thirty-One party . My mom and I attended a Thirty-One party a few weeks ago and my Mom and I thought it would be fun to have a party .
I made these adorable treat holders for my party .
I used the Fancy Favor Bigz XL die # 115965 with the Orchard Harvest Deigner paper # 126895 and the Yum tag on front is from the
Friendship Preserves stamp set
(w)# 127910
(c)# 127913
I used the Early Espresso classic ink # 126974 .
I then used the Window Frames collection framelits # 129021 to cut them out.
I plan on making thank you notes for everyone with the same stamp set but with the Thanks a Bunch image instead .
I will share those later once I get them made .
I used the glassine bags from the Ghoulish Googlies designer kit # 126914 to hold the treats .
I will show you what was inside tomorrow Plus give you the recipe too .
Oh my Gosh can you believe it is the last day of September . YIKES time is flying by so quickly .

Yesterday my Mom and I went to a wedding, actually it was a friend who I grew up with it was her son that got married and re-connecting is always a fun time .
I will share the card I made for them tomorrow .
Guess what ?
We have another Glitter Queens blog hop starting tomorrow . I will be posting the link to the 1st stop tomorrow right here on my blog be sure to check out the fabulous projects my Glitter Queens will be sharing with all of us this upcoming week ... I can't wait !
WOWZIE what an amazing week at the Griffith household .
I had my very 1st Morning/Afternoon workshop with my friend Peggy ( photo above )Over the last 9 years of being a demonstrator I have always held workshops in the evenings BUT Peggy's workshop was super GREAT But then again when 12 friends get together and have a fun time stamping it is always GREAT!
This past Friday my cousin Ruthie came over to hang out and stamp with me ( that's our messy area above ) and it was a great time :) .
Ruthie wanted to scrapbook BUT I twisted her arm into making something for Halloween as well . OK maybe not to much of the arm twisting going on since she has 2 young kiddies in school I thought it would be fun to have us make something she could give them this Halloween .
I posted a bunch of photos in the 2012 Founders Circle photo gallery You can check them out HERE .
Founders Circle is always so much fun and there is so much spoiling from SU! on all of us demonstrators and reconnecting with all my Demonstrator friends is the biggest highlight of Founders .
We all get our own room as a matter of fact we get the whole hotel to ourselves plus each night we have a pillow gift waiting in our room .
This year we went down Colorado River / Glen Canyon for our Final event the raft ride was about 3 hours and it was so much fun rafting with all my friends .
We got so many goodies I actually made a trip to the local UPS store and shipped 20lbs of goodies home since I knew it wouldn't all fit into my luggage PLUS the idea of not having to lift that 50lb luggage was more of an incentive to ship stuff home .
PLUS I got the package this past Friday and let me just say It was like Christmas opening that package up . Yeah I knew everything that I had shipped home BUT having it in my hands again Oh what a feeling :)
Oh and lets not forget all the special touches with snacks / decorations / the attention to detail is always so amazing and I feel so blessed and Praise God for having Stampin'Up! be apart of my life for 9 years . ( Oct 3, 2012 will be my 9th SU! Anniversary )
I Never thought in a million years I would 1st of all ~still be stamping and still loving it as much as I did from the 1st day that stamp was inked.
The funny thing was my Mom and Hubby knew that I loved it way before I did and I must admit I fought signing up to be a demonstrator for close to 18 months .
It's one of those things that I can say now that I wish I had not waited so long BUT so happy it wasn't any longer .
WOW like I said what a week huh?
P.S I have heard from a few of you that are having problems viewing my blog
( Lots of empty space and you have to scroll down to view )
Typepad mentioned to update your Internet browzer for Plug Ins .
I use Fire-fox and mine is done automatically.
