Founder's Circle swap 2009

Hi Stampers :

Today I wanted to show  you  another fabulous  Founder's circle swap I recieved. 

 This one is  from Kim Evans ~Is  this  card  Awesome or what ?

I love everything about it . Its  Not  your typical Christmas Colors But maybe thats why I love it  so much. 

 Kim  used the Ornament punch # 116794 with Delightful Decorations stamp set # 116517 both of which are in the Holiday mini.

  The  designer paper is   the Thoroughly Modern DSP # 115673 The greeting is from the stamp set called Many Merry Messages # 116586.

Kim also added  a Clear Brad # 113144 to  one of her ornaments . It adds just a touch of sparkle  in just the  right place ( Love it )  .

I have a video ready for  you  and that will be  posted  tomorow ( Thursday )  I still need to film  Fridays  video  and  also get ready  for   Linda's workshop on Friday evening  as well . Hopefully  I will be  very productive in my  stamping room over the next couple days  .

Founders circle swaps part 4

 Hi Stampers:

Here is  our Group photo from our  Super fun PJ party  night at  Founder's  Circle that SU! took of all of us  ( Can you  spot me in the  crowd ?)  I have my pink  kitty  pj's on   towards the back left side . Do you see me ? Hee! Hee! ( click on photo to enlarge )

One of the many highlights  to Founders was the  PJ party/ Business  share  night   Plus  this is when we  all got to swap  our  cards .

The funny thing is that I  didn't know how  they were  going to  have  120 of us  have a organized  swap  hummmm...  

Let me tell you it was sooo much FUN!  It reminded  me of  Trick or Treating   we all formed one  LONG line in the  hall way   and then the  1st  person  started  down the line  dropping her  swap  in  my  Bag  then  we who were  standing in line  would drop our  swap in their  bag.

I am not  sure how  long this  took BUT  I didn't  want it to end  cause it was sooo much fun !

I tried  to snap this photo ( above ) of the line  ( I know .. It's not a very good photo But hopefully  you get the idea . (Click on  any photo for a larger  view )

Founder's Circle 2009 ~ Part 3

Hi Stampers:

Today will be the last  founders circle  post for  at least a couple days  so I can bring  you  my  videos for the week :)

PJ party  was Friday Night  and I started loosing my  voice  I sounded like kermit  the frog  that night  YUCK!  anywho Update  today: I still have no voice But I have a  cold  so thats  double  yucky .

 anyway  Lets  talk  about  Founder's circle  highlights of places we went  and  things we saw  shall we :)

  On the list of places  to go  was  to visit  Kanab Friday morning. 

This is  the  one  place  I was  so excited to  go  and see . Kanab is where SU!  manufacturing  facility is  and we  got  to see how  a Stamp set is  made  from  start  to finish.some of us even got  to cut the rubber  and  box  sets  sooo funny  how slow we were  compared to  the SU! employees that do this everyday .

I Just love that all our Rubber stamp sets  are made  right here in the USA

Oh my gosh if  you only knew what  there is  to make 1 stamp set  I am  sure  you  would be amazed  as  I was  and I have  such a deeper  appreciation of  how  things  work on  that end  then I have ever  had before . 

We were  not  allowed  to  take photos of  the 

actual  areas  where  the magic takes place But  did  get  some  photos  of 

Shelli's apartment  on the top floor  which is  where people stay  from corp  and  whatever  else 

they want to use it  for . The apartment  just screams

Shelli everywhere  so beautiful  and of  course one of the 

highlights before & after the tour  is to head  down to the  famous SU! rock

and get your photo taken  by it .

One of the cuttest moments  when  we 1st arrived  at kanab  was  we  were directed  to the  restrooms  since they knew we all really had  to "go" since it is a 2 hour  rode trip there  BUT before  he pointed us in the direction  he mentioned that  they converted the Mens  restrooms  into Ladies  just for US! OH  How sweet  is that ..   NO  not a Huge conversion  Just a  little  small fine  detail  that  most would over look  ( see photo ) So Awesome !

After the tour  we headed down the road  to Kanab Park  for  a catered lunch YUMMY!! 

Notice the  super  cute busckets  which  went  with the whole theme  the 5 days of Founder's circle~ Just darling .

Then after  lunch  we  walked over to the  park  where all the  scrap rubber SU! donated  to make as a cusion under the  play items  of  course this was  way cooler  with my shoes off  so  I had  to  jump in  with my bare feet  and feel all that rubber  between my toes :)  talk about  a  awesome  and weird  experience  at the same time .

Then  after photos were taken and rubber  being tossed in the air  we headed  to a little  country  store called Dennys  Wigwam and shopped  for a little while .

I snaped this photo of  the  girls  relaxed in the  big  chair  how cute are  they :)  

This was Just one of the fabulous things we did  at Founder's  Circle  which was a HUGE highlight   for me  and everyone that goes .

Founder Circle 2009 ~ Part 2

Hi Stampers :

Every night during Founders Circle we were so spoiled  with  pillow gifts .

 I am sorry I have to  distort the 1st  pillow gift photo . Some of the items  we  got  are not even released yet. I hear  you  all gasping  ~ sorry ... If it gives you  any comfort there was alot of  GASPING in our rooms  over all our Wonderful  pillow gifts too:)

#1 Wednesday night  we recieved  this bundle of goodies  all wrapped  up in  a pretty ribbon bow . Inside the bundle  are the items listed below : 

a FREE stamp set , a package of all the new 6 In color markers , and 3 spools of   in  color Polka dot ribbon. The in Color  markers  and  ribbon  were all tucked inside  the 2 Gusseted  envelopes . These were the items  we also got  to make  our M&T's  with .. so much Fun!

 

#2 Thursday night  We  all got  The Secret Garden book  all  tied  up laying on our beds . The sweetest  thing is that Shelli Hand  signed each and every book  personally  to  each Founder circle  achiever . How awesome is  that ?

#3 Friday night ( PJ party )  We all returned  to our rooms  to find  these AMAZING Stampin Up! Boots . OH my gosh I think I may have  screamed  the loudest  when I seen these  awesome  boots  sitting on my  bed  .  1st question  came  to my  mind was How  did SU! know my shoe size ? 

The best part is that MY boots  fit  and yes I will be wearing them ( I Will share photos of that  when I wear them ).

The Boots were custom made for us, cause I thought at 1st  they applied  decor'elements to them BUT Nope They were made that way~ Soo stinkin cute ! 

A few   girls  mentioned the next morning at Breakfast that  they are going to   put  them on  display  with  flowers  inside  ( Love that idea  too ) BUT I am for  sure going to wear mine .  I added  another photo  to show  you  the SU!  logo on the back . The  journal that is in the photo with my  fabulous boots  was givin to us as the PJ party along with a Beautiful SU! Pen  to write  with.

#4 Saturday Night ( Last offical night of Founders circle )  After  our Mystery Dinner date  Saturday night  we returned  to our rooms  to find  this  Beautiful Butterfly  charm  in  super cute Matchbox( Hummm  did everyone  get a Purple box ( pale plum )  or was that  something else  they knew about me? HUMMMM)  The Charm  has 2 butterflies  attached with the bottom  butterfly  engraved  " Founders Circle 2009"  Is that Precious or what ?

SU!  Truely  spoiled  us  from the moment  we landed  at the airport  with bottled water and snacks  to greet us for our  Ride  to St George . 

When we arrived  at the hotel we all signed up  for  a game  to play I called it  the butterfly  game  any who  the object was  to have  all 5 butterflies  you   got ( same color )  you needed  to swap  your  butterflies with  5 other  founder circle  achievers  to end  up with all 5 different  colored  butterflies  Once you  got all 5 different  color butterflies  you  can  go get your FREE stamp set . which by  the  way  is a stamp set that has not been released yet  also ( All 3 FREE stamp sets  we all got are all Brand new from the Occasions mini  )

 BINGO was  played  on the bus  ride to Kanab with SU! goodies as prizes ( Ribbon , button, clips , rub ons  etc...) . But even if I didn't  win  at Bingo  we all got  a spool of 3/4" Polka Dot GG  ribbon # 115608  and  the Ho Ho Ho On board  chip board pack # 117613.

Founder's Circle 2009 ~ Part 1

Hi Stampers :

I feel as Though I have a smile embedded on my face  from  the AMAZING  Founders  Circle  event  so many of my friends asked me what the highlight of my  1st Founders circle was ?

There is NO possible way to narrow it down to  even a hand ful of highlights  that I loved the most ~  since I loved EVERYTHING That took place over the 5 days  of  Founders circle .  So over  the next Few days I will  touch on just a few  in details ~How  does that sound ?

1st having Shelli  at Founders  Circle was  sooo wonderful  she was so accessible  to all of us  there  I felt as though I was dreaming. 

 Shelli  took   time  to chat  with  and  share  herself with  all of us .  She took part in everything we did  ~

yes even swapping her card   and  stamping. This was sooo amazing :) 

Next on my  most memorable  highlight  are all the Fabulous friends 

I made at Founder's  . 

Being the  new kid

on the block at

Founders  

everyone made me  feel very special  and  so many  friendships were  started at this event

 

that I hope  to have  for a lifetime .  So many  of my  friends  I knew already  made this  amazing  event  even  sweeter.
