Andrew's Birthday card ..

Hi Stampers :

Happy Monday Friends !

Here is the card I made for our  friend Andrew. He has a  motocycle too and him and my Hubby  have been known to take off for many hours  riding  up  to Port Huron or where ever their bikes lead .

I posted a video awhile ago HERE which is the same way I made this card . I just changed up the stamp sets.

I used the Lovely as a Treee stamp set #115026 and the Mototcycle stamp  which is no longer avavilable ( sorry) .

I added a bunch of the Mini silver Brads # 122941  to the front of Andrews card  and the base  card I used More Mustard card stock # 100946.

Today is my  Wonderful  husband's birthday .He is so amazing  in every way. Even with crazy / silly hair he still rocks my world .

This year I thought I would give him a cute / funny birthday card  . OH my goodness  don't you just love his hair do Jessie gave him . Actually this photo  was taken awhile ago but it fits perfectly for what I wanted  to use it on ... His Birthday card LOL !

Magnificent You!

Happy Wednesday friends !

Todays card was planned  all around the brand new 3/8" Denim Jean Ribbon # 125053 .

I used the  stamp set called The Open Sea

• (w) # 123030
• (c) # 123032

I used my sponge  to add  Night of Navy ink # 102977  to the Crumb Cake card stock # 102953

The Greeting is from the Hostess ONLY set called Perfect Words

• (w) # 122470
• (c) # 122472

I punched that out with the  Modern Label punch #119849  then layered that onto Night of Navy card stock  with the Magnetic Movers & Shapers  Punch windows  Big shot die # 115953 on page 221 in Big catalog .

to finish off my card I added the Mini Silver Brads # 122941 Oh my goodness  these brads are sooo amazing .

Jessie graduated from Cosmetology school yesterday :)  Stay tuned  I will share  pics and  a short video  from this exciting day this upcoming Sunday .

Father In Laws Birthday card...

Hi Stampers :

I made this Birthday card for my Father In law. His Birthday is also  on the same day as our Wedding Anniversary  so  it's very easy to remember  Plus he is a big Harley fan as well , so of course I had  to use the Motorcycle  stamp#117657  from the Summer mini HERE

I must admit  I usually have a  hard  time  making a "man" card  But  this one was  alot of  fun to make .

I was going for the aged look ( No pun intended Dad .)   but  for some reason  this card looks just perfect for that man that likes  to work on bikes  and gets a little messy ~ if  you know what I mean :)

I sponged on  lots of Early Espresso classic ink #119670 pretty much on everything on my card .

I also used the Top Note  bigz die # 113463 with the Newsprint Designer paper # 117166 which I added the outside   border  piece to the inside of his card ( see photo) ..

The Happy Birthday greeting is from the Perfect Punches stamp set # 120561 and punched that out  with the  2" X 1 3/8" Oval punch #119859 ( known in the past as the Wide Oval punch )

The inside greeting  is from the Full of Life stamp set # 111500 and I also added  some cogs from the Cogs punch # 118873

I also added some Early Espresso 1/8" taffeta ribbon # 119959 and also  some Silver Brads #104336

Motorcycle .. Let the FUN begin

Hi Stampers :

 Boy am I sooo excited  to see SU!  come out  with this amazing  Motorcycle stamp . Perfect timing  since "Hopefully" we will be getting a  motorcycle for hubby  when he  comes home  in June

I say Hopefully because Hubby still needs  finds the bike he wants. He continues to  keep looking for just the perfect one for him ..

I think this motorcycle is pretty PERFECT! But don't think Hubby  will settle  for  that .. He wants  the Real thing of course LOL .

 This stamp is called of all things " Motorcycle "  & is in  the New Summer mini  which will start on May 1, 2010  and this motorcycle stamp is  listed on the very last page  in the new mini .

 I also added  some Silver  Foil Smooch spritz # 118771 to my card  LOVE  this stuff  which will be in  the new Summer mini too ..

The greeting is from the  stamp set called Let the fun begin # 115350

Faux Suede ...

I used the  Chocolate chip card stock with Close  to Cocoa  and Creamy  Caramel card stock.

 I used the Large star punch#110710 and  the star punch#109045  with the Classic stars jumbo wheel #111254

Just Par-fect ...

Hi Stampers: 

I thought I would make another Gate fold card .

This time I  cut it at

4 1/4" X 11 "  I have a  Video on how  to make  a Gate fold card HERE .

This one I  added To the Nines designer paper#114038   to the  panels .

 I also used the  cute stamp set  from the Occasions mini called And Many Mower # 113724.

 Close to cocoa & Sage Shadow card stock  was used  for  the base & for the top layer .The Ticket corner punch #107214 & Silver brads # 104336  were  also added  

   SU! Markers were used  to color my Golfer which are Creamy Caramel#100078 & Sage Shadow#100040, Then  Going Gray was  used  for the  golf  club  and  Mellow Moss#100038  for the grass

Here is the inside  of  the card . I stamped the golfer again on scrap whisper white  and then cut out the golf club and golf  ball and added  them to the greeting inside .

Last minute add on was the  grass sprigs  around the  greeting inside  as well ~ wasn't  to sure how it  would turn out But I think it is really  cute (you  can click on either photo  to enlarge  your  viewing )

Just having  fun with the   stamp set & punch  from the Occasions mini  called And many Mower # 113724 . The new Scallop oval punch #114889

 What a Cute set!  I was attracted to it mainly  for the  greeting  "And many Mower "  ( That greeting Cracks me up) what a Fun  stamp set  for those  men in your life  .

 I also  broke out my  Crimper #101618 for today's  card I also used the Texturz plate Background 1  #114512 on the  Close to cocoa Piece~ 

The Horizontal slot punch# 105089  is used to hold Chocolate chip taffeta  ribbon#109065 & The ticket corner punch #107214 with (2) Silver brads # 104336

  Just a simple fun card .
