Stampers Club project #2

Hi Stampers :

Here is the 2nd project we made on Saturday But  with  a slight change of plans LOL .

This was suppose  to be the finished  card BUT of course I forgot  to cut  the Blushing Bride  base piece  of card stock ( shown above )  so Thankful my lovely Momma had  Whisper White CS handy  so  we used  that instead .

My club  girls are all so amazing  and they really  understand how I am  sometimes ~ Forgetful Hee! Hee!

Trust me I am much harder on myself  than my girls are on me   All my  girls  are all so easy going  and I am so very thankful.

Here is the  finished card  and what it looked  like on Saturday . I  still love it  and actually  the Whisper White base makes the flower and greeting pop  more . Its  pretty cool  to see  the same  card  but  with  a different base color it kinda changes  up the whole  card HUH?

Stampers club project #1

Happy Tuesday Friends !

Here is 1 of the projects we made  this past Saturday night at  my Stampers club meeting.

I posted a video on the Fun Flowers book mark HERE

There were a couple things I did different to these .

I used the tiny  flower shape circle that is cut with the Fun Flowers  bigz die#121812 and cut slits on each scallop then add a Basic Pearl  119247 to the center .

The I used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing  folder # 117335 on the  middle flower after I cut them out  with the Big shot #113439

I also used Pink Pirouette card stock #111351  along with Whisper White 5/8" Satin ribbon # 114616

Stampers club Hostess cards .

 Happy Monday Friends !

Here are  the cards I made for my  Stampers club hostess ( Carol)  this month .

I used the Fun Flowers Bigz die # 121812

with Pretty in Pink card  stock #100459

The greeting is  from the  Sale-a-Bration  stamp set called

I also used the Perfect Polka Dots  embossing folder # 117335 on  the strip ( 1" X  4 1/4")  and then  used the 1 1/4" Square punch # 119865  to punch a banner  tail on one end .

 I finished  the cards with  Basic Pearls # 119247

This months club theme seemed to be everything pink, I will show  you the items we made over the next couple days .

Stampers club project #2

Hi Stampers :

Here is  the 2nd Stampers club project we made  this last Saturday . I just love  any cards  that move / pop up/ slide  and well this card  fits  the bill  for my excitement.

I  seen  my friend Jan Tink had a video on this  card HERE ( Thank you Jan ) .

 Then  I got  the new Bitty Bat Punch #119279  and well Since Laurie is one of my  girls  that Just LOVES  Halloween, I  Thought is  was Just perfect  for Club night .

Inside the opening I used the Batt from the stamp set called  Batty for You # 116574

I used the XL scallop circle punch#118874  then working inward I used the  scallop  circle punch # 119854 then the 1 3/8" Circle punch # 119860.

 The Happy Halloween stamp on the inside is from the stamp set called House of Haunts # 111574

Colors I used  for card :

• Pumpkin Pie # 105117
• Concord Crush # 119792
• Black # 121045
• Pear Pizzazz # 119795

Stampers club project #1 .

Hi Stampers :

Here is one of the  club projects we made Saturday night .

I am just  Crazy over this brand new Owl punch #118074 (Love it ! ) 

The  designer paper is called  Sweet & Sour#117390  and  is  so pretty .

For the base of the  card  I used  Peach Parfait #119794 and the  Scallop trim border punch # 118402 I used Rich Razzleberry card  stock # 115316

Birthday Wishes greeting is from the  Occasional Quotes  Level 3 stamp set . Then Punched out with the  Word window punch #119857 and  then layered on  to the Modern Label punch #119849

The  Silver Brad serves  as a small closure  for my card .

Hostess Cards for Laurie ...

Hi Stampers :

Here are the cards I gave my Stampers club hostess Laurie  this past Saturday night .

 Love the  Level 2 Hostess Only   stamp set called Punched Posies   from the Summer mini .

 I used  Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz  for the colors. 

The greeting is  from Occasional Quotes  Brand new Level 3  Hostess only  stamp set.

I also used the  Large  Oval punch # 119855  &  Scallop  Oval punch #119856 with the Scallop Circle  punch # 119854 & Butterfly  punch # 119848

Lets not forget the Dazzling Diamonds 102023 & the 2 way glue pen # 100425

My Club  girls are Always  such a Hoot   we  found another use  for the  Rhinestone Jewels # 119246  on page 188 in new catalog .

 We all wanted  to  turn our Stampers club meeting into a Nose piercing party  LOL  So stinking  funny  I just about peed my pants  from laughing .

Not  sure if the photo picks up our new nose piercing But  either way  dont we all look Fabulous with our new Nose bling  Hee! Hee!

We missed  Carol & Darlene  wish they could have got their nose pierced with us Hee! Hee!

Gina's bunny gift's for club night ..

Hi Stampers:

Here are  the adorable  bunny  holders that Gina made  for all of us . 

 These little bunny pouches  hold a Reese's peanut butter  cup .

 Oh my  goodness sooo stinkin cute!! Love those googley eyes .  

 Gina  said  she  used a piece of 6"X 6" designer paper  and  cut that in half  ( 3" X 6")  Ran it  through the Crimper #101618 then just wrapped it  around the  candy bar.

  Added the  Scallop trim border punch#118402 ( FREE in  sale-a-bration mini )  to give more height to cover the  candy  inside .  Gina said  she folded  the bottom like she  was  wrapping a Christmas gift ..

All I can say is~ LOVE IT!!

Stampers club Saturday night ....

This past Saturday night we had our stampers club night .

The girls  in the  1st photo are  cutting their  Small folding boxout. Just Look at the concentration.. LOL

What a Super fun night . Gina was our hostess  and I will show  you a better  pic in a couple days on what she brought us all for gifts  ( so stinkin cute )

Ruthie's Tattoo is sooo amazing in person.  Just happy  it is  her that got it  and not me .   Ooohhhh the pain !

Stampers Club Night 12-6-08

Hi Stampers :

 This past Saturday I had  our Stampers  club meeting and I thought I would share  some photos  with you .. JoJo  was our hostess for  this event  & 2 of my Stampin  Queens  brought their  Christmas cards to show all of us . I  want to share them with you  today since their cards  are sooo Awesome . I was told by both of my Stampin queens  that  a couple cards were cased   from others  on SCS and wanted to make sure I  mentioned that( They didn't remember  who though )  .    The 1st 2 are stamped by Laura W.  I  don't know which is my  favorite since I  love them  both since they  are using  one of my  favorite  Christmas stamp sets  this  year ( Christmas classic # 111566) . Fabulous cards  girlie .

 

 

The next photo  are the cards  that Laurie N made  she actually  brought the Santa  candy bar wrapper and also the  matching card  for me .. YAHOO!! Is he  just the  cuttest thing or what ? The  other 2 cards  are also  stamped By Laurie BOY do they sparkle too ( she used the Holiday Lineup stamp set # 111648  for  those  .  

Here are  some other random photos  of our Club night . I also wanted to let  my Club  girls know that  those that  couldn't make it  to  club night  ( Philly, Laura, Kristen, Jenny & Carol ) both  club projects  will be featured this week in Video  format  . We always have so much fun at our  club  night . I would try  and explain  a few of these  photos  BUT that may take  to much time Hee! Hee! I suppose you  Just had to be there  to  understand :)

Happy Sunday stampers !

Today I thought I would share  a couple photos  from my  club night  Friday  along with  the couple photos of  what was happening outside .. Here is our  Hostess Kristin  with her hostess  cards I made her.. ( I used the SUMMER PICNIC DS paper  along with BIG BOLD BIRTHDAY stamp set  OOO and look at the new STRIPED Bashful blue GG ribbon too ) OH my  goodness Kristin  brought  us such  awesome goodies to eat & MY favorite was Kristin's Chicken Spaghetti YUMM-O!! .Here are a couple upclose photos of  Kristin's cards I made her . We had our Club meeting  at my moms home  this month  and  since it   stormed outside   everyone was saying we  should have been at my house in the basement  :-) 1st Tornado  watch until 9:00pm , then the sky was  doing freaky things  then the  down pour of Rain  and then Hail .. Gee whiz it  was such a weird storm,  But nothing  could keep us stampers from having a Great time .. My club girls are a Great bunch of  women. I had a Request for  my Stamp-a-stack event  in May so I will get started working on  that event .. Will keep you posted girls  when  this  fun night  SO if YOU want to come  and join the fun with us in Pontiac  Michigan you can . Photos from the SCS Michigan event today ..

Wow what a great time  I had putting  beautiful faces to all the  awesome  bloggers and SCS stampers I met  on today .  Had a Chance to take a few  photos  so I thought I would share them with you .Car pooling with Harriet and Dawn  was  super Great and made the  drive so much sweeter.  Thanks  girls :-) I got to met  so many of you. Here  are a few other photos   I had a chance to  get  while we  were there .

This photo  has JEN & SHARON with us . What a  Great bunch of gals . I  enjoyed  chatting with them, Plus learned a few new things to boot  gotta love that.:-)Thanks Sharon  for your Great tip on tieing  a ribbon bow  AWESOME!

Then my   blogger friend ROSE ANN was pretty busy  telling us about the copics and she even brought  extras  for us to be able to use the copics also.YAHOO!   I was able to chat with her  for awhile   and  she even gave me a MR Crabby pants shadow box card  which I will show you all later  this week ( Its is soooo  stinkin awesome ! )   But I was able to snap  this photo of her while she demoed the copic markers  ( which are Wonderful~ Thanks Rose Ann you did a Fabulous )   

Then  to  top off this wonderful event my  blogger friend LORIEN bought in a HUGE box of cards for the troops  OH my  goodness ..Thank you  so Much  Lorien! Such beautiful cards girlie. Here is  a photo of her and I,  What a  Hoot  we had  laughing while stamping (Note to self : Make  Mr crabby pants with Trousers .. Hee ! Hee! ) Only  Lorien would appreciate that  :-)  Thanks  for a wonderful time  girls. I look forward to seeing you all again  one day soon .

The OTHER project we are making for my clubs this month .. ..

Hi Everyone : Just wanted to show you  the other project we are making this month at my  club meetings ( which my  2nd  club meeting is Tonight   in my  stampin room in Pontiac, Mi ) This project is just perfect  with the  designer paper  SPECIAL This Month (  which is Ending  tonight .. Call /email me to  get in on this awesome  special before its gone ) ..  These  6 pointed stars are  quite easy  to make I  didn't   even have to use any adhesive what so ever .. (  SIDE NOTE to My East side  club girls~  I will re- show this  at our next  club meeting  since we use  sticky  strip  and  it did not  work out  to great  I will  show you  again  BUT with out using  any adhesive this time ..Trust me it is FABULOUS!!!  )  such a super cute idea  for   adding  embellishments to  Christmas presents   or   decorating the Christmas  tree /  windows of your home ..  I also use   the ELASTIC  Silver  cord  in the  current mini ( Just love this  cord )  For My 6 point  star I used  the DASHING Designer paper , I also ran the edge of the 2 way glue pen  down the  edges of my  star  so I could add  a  little  sparkle to my  star  with dazzling diamonds .   Speaking of using  these cute stars  for  your gift wrapping ..My Uncle Doug  asked me if I would  like to  donate   something  for  this event  that he is  part of .. If you look  really  close  at this  basket I gave him  you  will see the Star  on the  outside  with the  ribbon .. pretty cute huh?Speaking of my Uncle Doug You have  got to check these  photos out of  the accident  he was in this week ..  you  can  view them HERE on my  other blog.

Club meeting tonight ...

OH boy  tonight we will be stamping in  Warren  Michigan  with my East side stampers  ..  Sure wish you  all were  coming  cause   we always have so much FUN FUN FUN!! We will be making this card  .. Seriously  this card is sooo much more beautiful IRL . 

This is  one of my  favorite  techniques lately  Embossing resist  and  Just love my  spritzer tool  and  those icicles  that were made with Crystal  Effects ( But for club tonight  these icicles  strips  are already made up since they take  awhile to dry ) Don't worry girls I will demo  them for you  to show you how  super easy  they are to make .. Thanks  Corinne  :-)  I used  Night of navy, Certainly  celery  and whisper white card stock  with  certainly  celery  and Brocade blue classic  ink with daubers   over the   clear embossed area on  whisper white  the  SNOW wheel  was inked with  Night of navy   classic ink  and the tree and  swirls  are from the  SEASON OF JOY set  all of which are gone after this month girls .. I then added the   COLOR SPRITZER TOOL  with Night of navy marker Then finished  card off with dazzling  diamonds ..  pretty snazzy huh girls ..

Hey  girls are you  counting the days  till the retirment list is Out like me ?

My Hostess Book

I resently  purchased this super  cute  ON BOARD BITTY BOOK and  decided  when I  got  it I would  use it  for all my hostess's  this  upcoming year ( ya know a simple way for me to  keep track of  who gets invited to my next years Hostess  Appreciation party )   pretty  clever huh?  Hee! Hee! .. I used  the ROUND UP  simply  scrappiing  kit  for decorating it  and I just love love love how it turned out .. each Hostess will get her photo  taken at  her club night or  workshop   and  I will  design a tiny  scrapbook page to  slide inside the pages which are  3 1/4 X 3 1/4  size  such a  cute little  book , Notice  the cute  photo on the very back .. I thought it would be nice to see who all  was invited  to this past October  Hostess appreciation party .. I also added  a few  sliver  eyelets  on the  overside  album sleeve( which comes with the book  all for 9.95 +S&H and tax )with my  CROP-A-DILE (which I love ) This  book is sooo easy to  decorate  and so many things you  can use this book for .. I will be making  another  one for  my  Daughters Homecoming   again this year.. These make really nice  personal   gifts for your loved ones for the  upcoming Holidays .

DAWNS SIDE NOTE: I just wanted to clear up that  this book is for ME  not  for all my hostess's  I  take a photo of my hostess  and  add them  to a  scrapbook page to fit inside  this  book .. It is for me to refer back on  all my hostess's I had  for the upcoming year .. Hope  this helps .. 

Yesterday was a whirl wind  from the min my  feet hit the floor  what a  AWESOME   day ..  I will be sharing photos  of  our trip  to the  Detroit Science  Center on my  other blog " COUNTING MY BLESSINGS" this week  OH and lets not  forget  today is Thankful Tuesday  over there too  girls

Glitter Queens Meeting this past Saturday ..

Hi girls :

  Our Glitter Queens  meeting was alot of fun  and we were  stampin the time away .. I  knew I wanted to  do at least 2 M&T's  since it was soo long  since I held one . Sad to say but it  was nearly 1 year ago since our last get  together ( Bad Dawn I know  HUH?) .. Anyway .. We all made this cute Christmas card  which I cased  from  ANDREA. Our 2nd M&T was centered around  the Manila folder tag book we are seeing everywhere . I used  1/2  of  the folder  to make  this smaller  version    Here is what  that looks like finished .  I just think these are the cutest thing   Here are our  shoebox swaps  from our meeting ..

1st is Harriet's card she used  the  spooky  skyline  jumbo wheel and the  Home is where the  Haunt is .. along with  chocolate chip  and pumpkin pie  Cards  stock and the  creepy  crawly  designer paper .  she also  added  Hodge  podge hard wear  buckle  and  mustard  GG ribbon

Here is my moms   shoe box swap .. she  used the  baroque Motifs  set along with the happy Birthday saying from the Voila' Set  . We used  bashful blue  Cardstock  with Night  of Navy classic ink with the dauber . both cards used  Dazzling diamonds  of  course  cause it  is  by all means a GLITTER queens  meeting ya know  Hee! Hee!

Lastly here is my  shoe box swap card .. I used the  season of Joy  set  with river rock  cardstock and  the DASHING  designer paper  with of course the  white  gel pen ..    For the Ink I used was  Always artichoke ( tree)  and River  rock  and Real red . Our glitter queens meeting was  alot of fun ..  and sooo sorry  a few of my  girls  couldn't make the meeting .. There is  always next time .

Club meetings this September ...

This  card  was our Other Club project for the month of  Sept .. Don't you just love  Gate  cards ? I  was sooo excited about  doing this card   Not only  cause  we got to use Mr Spider  again  and those googlie eyes .. But I just love this  type of  fold   I used  Groovy Guava  and Black  Card stock  along with whisper white  and  the new  double stitched  Groovy  Guava  ribbon ( Love that )  We also added  glitter to  the  2 spiders  on  club night BUT  this  sample does not reflect that sorry .. ( It is soo much better with glitter ) Wink wink . This was also my  1st draft in making the card  before  our actual meetings so I stamped the inside with  the  web wishes  greetings .. ( retired )   What a Great Bunch of  fun girls we have at our club meetings ..  Never a dull moment thats  for sure .. sometimes  I  laugh  so Hard I think I may PIMP's ( pee in my pants )    Our East side club  was on the 21st of September   and Our  Stampers club 6  was  this past Friday night . Susan was not able to make  it to  our  Stampers club meeting this month ..  HI Susan we miss you !!! Have a Great Monday girls  and thanks  for popping in

Happy Friday girls...

  For our club night   a  few  weeks ago Harriet gave us all this   super cute folder with all  kinds of goodies inside .. what a sweet   gift  we all got from Harriet ..Thank you girlie ..  and then last week  Harriet  brought over these  3 Candy bars she made  ( Yes Harriet is a Glitter Queen  also )  and cased the idea from  our  Stampin Success magazine .. She gave one to me , Jessie and  my mom  are they cute or what .. Thank you   again Harriet they look YUMMY!!  ..  Our  club meeting  was  alot of fun . East Side club meeting Photos & goodies ...

Howdy  girls ..  I seem  so far behind ..   I  am finally  getting around to posting  what all happened  last Friday night  at my  East side club ..OH boy we had a blast .. Our Hostess  Gina rocked the house  with tons of food and  Then look what she made for all of  us  that  attended  the club night . Her goody  held  so many  cuttle bug  Samples  WOWZIE!!  See that top one  laying  down ? I have that one on its way to me as I write this ,. I just love  her goodies she made for us . Can you see the  sour cream container  she also gave us  that held mints ..  What a Nice thing  Gina  did  for all of us .. Thank you  GF!!  Ok  here are a few of the photos I got  from that club meeting also ..  Here is our Hostess Gina   with  what she loves to do . (Stamping  Of course ) and  here is  Trish .

Trish is  such a sweetie   she has opened her home for us on a  few club nights. Her basement is  sooo Perfect for  our  meetings ..  Thank you  so Much Trish  for  letting us use  your home on  Club night .

Ok on  to  the next photo . Here is  Our  sweet and Crazy Laurie .. OH my   she  had me laughing   so hard a  couple times .. ( Remember us  Girls chatting  about  my hubby's BIG return  home  Hee! Hee!   ) Laurie  does not  Like her photo taken so This was the best one I got that night .. I have more  of her  in my  web shots  if you  must see  her  Hee! Hee!

Then there is  Carol and Jenny in the next photo .. OH my  we all crack up with Carols  Darth Vader impression.. Hee! Hee!  and sweet Jenny  is still  trying to convince her  hubby  that all we really  do at these club meeting is Stamp  Hee! Hee! Like  what could there be that brings such pleasure and smiles to our faces  than  Stampin .. Ok besides that Wink Wink ..  What a HOOT that meeting was!  come to think of it Its always  fun stampin with friends,  having FUN chit chat and eating  Great food ..   HUH?

Then look at this super cute card Carol made  for me .  She also made  our Hostess Gina one too .. Lucky us HUH? Plus I got more cards for the troops  from Jenny  too .. Thank you  girls for making  our club night so much FUN!!!

This was one of the  2 projects we made  that night  using the  Baroque Motifs set .. I would show you the other BUT  I have another stampers club tonight and we have to  keep  at least one of the projects a surprise  Right ..

OH boy I feel another fun night  tonight coming on .Yesterday evening Steve  fixed  our computer ..YIPPEE!  which I had no  worries  about him  fixing the  situation  ..What I was concerned about was  Jessie and I  hooking it all back up ..  Jessie is sooo SMART!! and so is my  best Gal Angie ..Hee!Hee!  Jessie and I just labeled the  cord's  and it was a breeze  Thanks GF!!
