Its seems another FUN day is ahead of me today .. gotta stamp some more then its off to Whirly Ball with Church youth group YEA!!I don't plan on playing just taking photos of everyone else playing .. ( ya know thats a MOM job anyway .. right ? )
well thats the plan anyway .. I really don't think my knee will bend enough to get in the whirly ball cart anyway .. and thats fine with me , really .
Yesterday I stamped a bunch of things for my adventure to Regionals on Oct 14th in Lansing .. I had a Light bulb of an idea yesterday when stampin my DVD/CD holder for some 3-D swaps ( see photo).. some of you will remember this design I had posted awhile back with the DVD/CD pictorial direction in August here on my blog .. BUT if you haven't seen it.. Just look on the left hand side under " Archives" then click on "August" then scroll down to almost the end and there will be the DVD/CD holder that I had previous posted w/ directions also .. Any-who.. I loved this color combo so much when I made them back in August that I knew I wanted to make some for Regionals anyway My Light bulb moment came yesterday when I was thinking I wish there was a way to cover up the AOL Free Cd's I was inserting into these little holders( I wanted to add the CD for just an extra touch ya know ?) DING DING DING!! Hubby had sticker sheets of CD covers and they were in white paper ( perfect for stamping on right ?)
He must have had them FOREVER so I went on a search/ HUNT through my house looking for them and in the mist of a >Light sweat , My arm flew up and I yelled FOUND THEM!! YAHOO!! so the next question was were they gonna fit .. ( I know I guess its stupid question to think cause aren't all CD/dvd are the same size ) But the AOL Cd's I grabbed for FREE at Blockbuster were Lovely lilac and Green Galore ( Always thinking in our Fabulous SU! colors .. admit it you do too)
and these colors sure didn't match my holder/cover and Whaaaa-Laaaaaaaa a matching set emerged.. I can't tell you how exciting this was for me yesterday
Thank you all for your comments on the shadow box card directions I posted yesterday WOWZIE!! I have found a New appreciation for those at SCS ( Beate, Jenn, etc..) that due this type of tutorial every week .. Its a HUGE undertaking BUT in the long run It is well worth it .. Funny thing is I actually enjoyed taking those photos ...
I got a few new goodies yesterday when my UPS man dropped off 2 BIG huge boxes ( sad news Not everything in there was for ME)
.Here are just a few of the items I got .. 3/4 " SQ and circle punch .. ( been wanting these for awhile ) Peaceful wishes,
Stampin Fun for everyone, ( Love this set for my Glitter Queens )
weathered BG, ( Hey Carol ..HOT Dog I finally got this BG stamp )
and my large opened end envelopes arrived ...YAHOO Love this size!
This past Thursday I sent the BIGGEST project ever into SU! I cant tell you how excited I am about this. I am usually excited about everything I send into SU! BUT this took the cake
.. What I Mean by BIGGEST Project is that it wasn't just your typical card submission KWIM? and thats really all I am gonna share as of right now .. I really don't want to Jinks it .. BUT I will share this project with you all in the next few weeks so stay tuned.. SU! should have it in their hot little hands on Monday ... Crossing my fingers ..

Way to go! Love it as usual. I have to tell you that yesterday driving home a different route, I drove past a driveway that had 2 corner picket fences with flowers peaking thru, and it inspired me so much, that I'm going to put that idea to paper, i.e. stampin'up!
