Look what I made yesterday ..
All Thanks to Amanda you can find her directions to make your Christmas ornament HERE on her blog .. these ornaments are fun and easy BUT boy they use alot of stright pins I made this one for my display table at my craft fair ..I would love to make them to sell But Man I got way to much going on as it is so maybe next time ( if there is a next time ) I had to put an extra tie on the top of mine so I could get a good photo of it hanging there since I used alot of Organdy ribbon on mine .. Maybe it just jazzs it up a tad bit more huh? One thing I will say on making these beautiful ornaments is cut and fold your paper 1st so you can move right along putting it together.. My hubby was amazed at it. He kept telling me it looked like an artichoke .. MEN!… Go figure .. BUT The more I looked at it the more it did look like an artichoke .. see what planting a seed does in my mind , Anyway I just love this ornament .. sure wish I could make these and sell them next week .. Maybe if I get extra time between now and then I may squeeze a few in ( Cross your fingers I get some extra time )
I was busy making up those last 12 little santa wrappers WHEW got them done YAHOO! Since I finished those and put them away in my stash Hee! Hee! ( Boy do I have the stash of craft show goodies spred all over the place YIKES!!)
Boy did I have fun yesterday I really think My Stampin Groove is in making cards I just enjoy making cards the most .. it seems to go fast.. Not that I dont enjoy maing all those NON card items BUT I think after doing all these goodies for my craft show I think I really found out I love making cards the BEST!
I moved onto my holder for notecards .. you use 2 reg size envelope and cut one of them at the flap line ( cut the flap right off then with the other envelope you apply adhesive on the backside of that flap and slide it into the other envelope w/o the flap TA~DA instant Notecard holder .. on one side I put the 4 notecards and the other side I put the 4 notecard envelopes then wrap it all up in a pretty bow.. for this pack I made 2 cards with cool carribbean and 2 cards in certainly cerely with the set called "Sweet shapes " I love the way it turned out I may need an other one of these ..
I also got to make more beaded pens yesterday too But tried my hand at using designer paper for them WOWZIE talk about a no BRAINER
these were super fun and super dee duper fast to make I want to make a handful more of these Just need to find all my other designer paper buried under everything ..

You never cease to amaze me. How did you do these beaded pens? The designer paper pens look great!!! Did you attach the paper to the outside of the pen? At regionals, I got a cute notecard holder made from a piece of 12×12 cs. Love the smileys!!!
LOVE that ornament. I’m going to definitely have to check out the directions! Cute, cute, cute noteholder! I can’t wait for my order to get here so I can make some more, too! Have a great Sunday!
I love your note cards and holder. You are an amazing woman!!
I am amazed on how much you are able to get done in just a short amount of time! Phew. Tired me out just reading all this 😉
I love *all* your projects – especially the cards (and the pens… and the ornaments….okay, everything!)
Rubber Hugs,

Your blog is totally fun and your work is just amazing!!! I love the notecard set and one of my other favorite cards was the octopus one (so cute!).
Thanks so much for sharing!
Ooooh WOW! I love those beautifully simple cards! The colors are perfect and so is the layout! Love them!

Your pine cone ornament is beautiful and I do not think it looks like an artichoke. 🙂 Your note cards are so pretty and I will have to try and make the holder that you did. The pens that you made are awesome. I would love to make some of these but do not know how. I have no idea what type of pen to buy. Are they bic pens? If you have time could you please tell me how to make these and what brand pens to buy? These would make wonderful stocking stuffers.
Once again, I do not know how you do all that you do. You must keep going from the time you get up until the time you go to bed. You are one of the most creative people I have had the privilige to meet. I looked at all of your pictures they are *all* very nice.

Dawn, your pinecone ornament/aka artichoke is lovely! Boy, after making one, I wouldn’t even think about selling them. . . unless it was for a very good price! I loved your notecard set as well, and the designer paper in the pens–great idea!
You did awesome! I love it! YAY! The blog world is being flooded with gorgeous artichokes (ooops, ahem — I mean ornaments) MEN!?!?!
Thanks for the link *smiles*
I just love reading your blog. You show such beautiful stuff and aren’t afraid to share where you saw it or how you did it. Thanks for much for sharing your creativity with all of us! You never stop me for saying, how great is that!!
Well, pooie! I really wanted to see the annoucement. Guess I’ll have to try and wait patiently! NOT!
Ok, so I followed the link and printed the directions, hopefully, one day I’ll be able to make the ornament as well as you did. Great Job!
