I made this card from the  delight in life stamp set .. ( I am really lovin this set,  It’s reminding me alot of  the S-A-B set we had last year I’m drawing a blank on that sets name at this moment ,  but anywho.) You may have  a problem seeing the  flower embossed background ..I tried to take  a photo of  it where it would show up better and this is the best I got..  anyway I used cool caribbean as the base  with Orchild opluence , and  stamped the  flowers on whisper white and colored them in with reinkers and my aqua painter  then cut them out .. I also had cut out a few flowers  for masking remember that ? anyway I laid one of the flowers down on the light table and laid my CS over top of the flower and dry embossed  around the flower.. I then took my dauber  and  swirled the cool carribbean  ink  all around  the flowered  background ..I used the black marker again for those tiny  doodle dots and  add  some black gg ribbon  to the edge of the flower mat..since I am done with my Christmas cards it seems I have been  into flowers the last few days ..

YESTERDAY! What a great day we all  had .. and Boy my mom  put on the spred of food …  ( Also a BIG thank you to my  "Bestest" Cousin  Ruthie .. she made  her famous sweet potatoes  for us.. I will share her reciepe for them later this week  you will LOVE them ) left overs today after church ~ YUMM-O.. we all opened our presents  and daughter made out like a bandit  again this year .. she mainly is into clothes,  jewerly and of course make-up  So that about covers everything she got .. We got mom a few things from The  Pampered chef  the measureing spoons and cups  she loved mine and  well when she dropped the hint she loved mine I knew exactly what to get her .. she also got  some clothes  and  perfume,, Hubby  got clothes , hat etc.. I got clothes, earings, perfume

But Rich and I  what  we got together is TIVO  OH my word .. How many of you have this fancy  dancy  machine?.. OH MY  we are already lovin it ..  we got home  last night and he started  hookin it all up  .. talk about a MESS! and then once he got everything hooked up  we realized we needed a phone line  next to  unit  and guess what our Phone line is on the other side of the  room of course .. Good thing I know a really great Electrian  Hee! Hee! ( my hubby )  so the next 30 mins were spent  putting in a Brand new phone jack  started from the basement and worked  up to living room  OH my   remember MY hubby  can do anything  right? .. well he did it again ,  He put his wifey  is utter amazement we then   set up our account  with TIVO online   we ended  up doing the 3 year contract  because we paid   the 2 year contract price  but got a extra year for free !!  ( if you add up the price for  the monthly  fee it was going to save us close to 150.00 if we did the  annual membership  so thats what we did…) Yahoo !!  TIVO is sooo easy to set up  and we are sooo amazed at what this little thing can do ..  we all looked at each other with  astonishment  ..  then once everything was set up  Hubby had fun  rewinding the  TV shows we were watching .. talk avbout weird. We are soo lovin this  TIVO! cant wait for LOST to return in Feburary.  and did I say the picture on my TV is sooo stinkin clear  OH yes ..  its one of those  "Best things we ever got "  and dont know why it took so long for us to get one ..

we all went and seen the pursuit of Happyness .. wow Great movie  .. I love Will smith and love every movie he is in .. I really loved him in Independance  day !! He rocked in that movie too…  and of course he didnt let me down with his new movie … Yes I cried ..( boy i am such a sap HUH?)  but even though hubby wouldnt admit it He was a  little chocked up too especially at the end  OH MY  what a  Great movie ..

Yesterday was a Great Mail day also …YAHOO.. GUESS what I got ?? Not only did I get my ATC swaps  from Jen on SCS ( I will post those in the upcoming days  to share with you all these FAB-O swaps I got ) BUT I also recieved so many Christmas cards  from  a few of you  my blogger friends  and also   from my stampin queens ( will be sharing these also  with you all soon )   .. but it doesnt stop there I got my   Surprise gift from Shellie  Gardner  at SU!  I wont  say what it is on here , But if you want to know  drop me a  comment with your email address & I will share .. I dont want to ruin the surprise for all those  that want to wait like I did..  BUT, I will say its FAB-O  and what a nice note Shelli  wrote to us .. she is sooo wonderful. I will be using this surprise   very very soon ..  sooo stay tuned ..
