Ok you want the good new or the bad news 1st .. Hee! Hee!
1st I want to send a BIG Huge hug out to all of you and I may get a little weepy
here But truly you all have been so great and such an encouragement to me for my 1st craft show Its really to bad I didnt have you all there physically in back of me with your pom poms cheering me on and telling everyone what you thought of my goodies ..
Ok 1st I will start off with my display table photos , so many of you wanted to see my tables .. I loved the way it looked and the more I kept adding to the tables I more I was thinking Man I should have had 3 table BUT guess what ?? It all fit ( Praise God ) .. Not to sure how that all worked out But I had my hubby there and Man that man can plan things out ..
They had me set up right by the door as you came in so I was the 1st table they seen and everyone Loved everthing I had .. Just didnt buy to much at all .. Which is the bad news .. BUT hold on The good news Is I made a lot of new Possible stampers .. I am not one to think of reasons why hardly anyone bought But a 1 thing did pop into my mind.. Not many showed up for the Christmas party .. So needless to say I have a Ton of things left over sitting in my basement all package up with no where to go Boo Hoo! ..
This turn out will not stop me for doing my next craft show ( when ever that will be .. who knows ?? ) I will just focus on a real "Craft show " for Craft people who plan to attend for Crafts and not a Christmas party .. I have always said I think a stamper is the only one that can appreciate the stamped goodies .. I had many fill out for my drawing and I will be drawing that name this week some time after I stop and take a breather for a minute . Hee! Hee! Got a bunch of check marks for more info on workshops so This is exciting YAHOO! Does it sound like I am exhaused ? well I am Do you remember me saying that I liked to talk well I just may lose my voice since I talked so much today .. I met so many sweet and kind people ( two wonderful woman who come to mind are Charlett and Kathy ) Chatting with so many today this was such a highlight of today .. Soooo even though It wasnt Big success in selling It was still super fun and as my wonderful hubby said " Well at least I got my feet wet" He is sooo sentimental isnt he??
Hee! Hee!
Thanks again for all your sweet words of encouragement
Until Later … Happy Stampin !

Oh Dawn… I love the way you see the silver lining in everything. You are such a positive person! Could you have a craft show at your home and invite all your customers for some Christmas shopping? You have worked so hard and made such gorgeous stuff. Your tables look great!
Hugs to you, Dawn
Dawnie, I like Renee V’s idea! You should do an open house/craft shop for those of us who are in awe of your talents! Advertise at the school too! I’m sure you would get some takers. Heck I’ll volunteer my house for you to do it in…..I’ll even make the food!!!!! It stinks to think the rest of the world won’t be able to see (and buy LOL)the beauty of all your artistry!!! XOXO
Hi, Dawn! I hope you get a great night’s rest tonight–you’ve earned it! Craft shows (from my limited experience) are really “iffy.” Some work great, and others seem to have mostly lookers who just want ideas to go home and make it themselves. I’m sorry that yours sounds like the latter kind; that was the kind I always had too. 🙁 Can you use some of your lovelies as Christmas gifts?
Dawn, I sent you a private email. Sleep well.
Big Hugs to you.
Mary
Well now you have some gifts that are ready made, cute door prizes for your customer events, etc. Maybe another opportunity will present itself. Hang in there.

I have been reading your blog daily and looking at all your cute craft fair goodies. I was so sure you would do well (of course if you were near me I would of been in trouble). Your set up looked great. I like the idea some had to have open house for your customers or use the stuff for door prizes and christmas gifts. Great job on everything.
Dawn, Sorry your things didn’t sell. They all look great and I’m sure the prices were right. Maybe you can save them for next year and sell them at another fair, like maybe October when they all get started. Keeping a positive attitude helps. Keep up the good work.
Dawn- Yay! You got your name out there to lots of people and checkmarks…how cool is that? Although the sales where not quite what you had hoped I’m sure you’ll figure out what to do with all your fun stuff! Hope you are well rested!
Dawn – I am one of your most avid stalkers (and proud of it too!!) 🙂 I just wanted to say that I’m sorry and it’s a shame that some people couldn’t appreciate your gorgeous goodies! I for one would have gladly taken one of everything as I could not possibly do anything nearly as stunning 🙂 Keep your chin up and good luck with those leads!!
**big hugs**
Dawn, I’m so sorry to hear that your craft show did not go as well as you had hoped. Your items were fantastic, and it’s a shame that people didn’t buy. However, it sounds like you got some good contacts, and that can lead to SOOO much more.
Hi Dawn,
I have been doing craft fairs for years, and you just can’t tell what is going to sell. I have a feeling that it was the audience, not your wonderful projects. Our local newspaper puts out a list of all the Christmas bazaars with phone numbers of who to contact to get a table. You might still be able to find one for next weekend (if you have any energy left). Otherwise, I agree with the others that an Open House is the answer.
Sorry you didn’t sell much I know that must be disappointing, but meeting new people is always a wonderful thing w/in itself!
Hey Dawn! Finally have a few minutes to check in on you…sorry the show didn’t go the way we always hope they will, I think craft fairs are in general hit or miss so hang in there…the next one will be better! Glad to see you’re not discouraged and have that upbeat positive attitude you always have! What an inspiration! Have a great day.
