Tuesday I had to take my  vacuum in to get  cleaned and  a new roller  plus a new belt  put in ..  if my hubby was here he would have fixed that vacuum  in a jiffy  and  for  alot  less $$  too ..( This card today is   for my hubby )  Well today I get to pick up my  vacuum  cleaner  so I guess this means NO more excuses  for no  vacuuming HUH?  Bummer …

Today  is the BIG day  for us SU! demos  cause  today starts  the  pre ordering  for us  Stampin ‘Up!  demos  from the  preview  mini catalog .. YAHOO I have a  couple things I will be purchasing  One of them will be the  set called " Hugs & Wishes " I am such a sucker for  verbage ( words & saying )  stamps   I can never have enough  since it seems I  want to have the perfect  saying for   so many of the  celebrations & special times in my life  I just love the new Happy Anniversary stamp in this set .. I will also purchase the new  Soft sky  designer paper  and  even though I really  did Not  care for the  Zoofari  stamp set ..It really is growing on me  I can  just imagine all the  cute  funny  sayings I can add to those   animals  like the bird stamp in this set  reminds me  of my  tall Hubby and daughter  what a cute saying for this stamp " Hey long legs " silly huh? with of course me  being the shortest of the  3 birds …  I also am very excited about the  New IN colors  I will be  pre purchasing  at least 3 of them  " Soft sky, Wild  wasabi, and  groovy  Guava ..  those  are My  favorites  from the   1st time I seen them ..

Alot of fun is approaching !

Well we are counting the days until this years VBS ( Vacation Bible  School )  I  am doing the  super fun music   dept  again this year  I have  done the music for the last 3 years and  absolutely  LOVE it ..  what a Blast .. Our VBS this year is set for July 9th-13th and I can  hardly wait ..  This year VBS theme is  GAME DAY CENTRAL  OMG it is  sooo awesome !! I always have  a Favorite song every  year and  this year is NO different  .. This year my Favorite song is A.B.C Strategy just click  this LINK and click on  a sample of A.B.C Strategy  song ..  Oh my this  song is soooo GREAT!!!  for  each of the 6 songs we  teach the  children   sign language movements to  go with each song and I have to get crackin to get all the movements down  quick .. Funny it  takes  us "Older"  folks at least a few months  to  learn all the  motions and words to each song  and  the kids learn them  in  only  a few times showing them .. My kids  will also love this song  TALK ABOUT JESUS Every year just keeps getting better and better… and what a  message  each song delivers  Gets me all chocked up with excitement  about VBS this year …  another fun thing for us teachers is we get to wear all our   sport team Jerseys GO Detroit ( Pistons , Tigers, Red wings & Lions ) How fun is that  gonna be .. I BLAST I tell ya .. especially with my  Brand new knee  YIPPIE!!  so do you want to come to VBS and  bring your  childern ?  would love to have  all of you  come  it would be the best week   for your kids  they will LOVE it

Schools OUT!!

Today is Jessie’s Last Day of school for the summer  and its a half day to boot    there will be an awards  ceremony this  morning at 10:00 and  Jess is up  for an award  or 2  so thats where I will be today .. Then after words  we will get some lunch( Salad Bar somewhere  ) and celebrate   the beginning of summer and Sleeping IN !!! YAHOO!! OH my  next  school  Year will be 10th grade  and drivers training  watch out world

Jessie & I want to be the biggest LOSERS!!

Hey did I mention Jess and I  are on a mission to lose weight ? Yup!! pretty soon  we will be heading to the  YMCA  and  working out  and  shedding the pounds  in Hopes to be  alittle ( ok  Hopefully ALOT)  thinner  by  the time Hubby comes home  in  August .. we are on a great start  Just need to  be able to  work out with the machines  and gain  some muscle  and lose some Fat..Just waiting for my knee to  get  alot better  before we head to the gym  so  for me its is mainly  cutting  down  as of right now  and getting my  3 days a week in PT ..Man Todd really  makes me  work ..No kidding   breaking a sweat and everything .. so Not only  am I strengthening my knee  But  man am I  getting a  work out on my hips … Yippie !! Will keep you posted on  the  big weight In’s

Update on  Operation Glitter Drop!

On Wednesday I received  More cards for the Troops  "Operation Glitter Drop "  I received  cards from Rose Ann ( her 2nd  box ) and Ann Marie got  together with her  customers ( Kim Markey & Sheila Bernett)and her downline ( Sandy Webb) and sent  2 boxes of cards.OH My  goodness  you all  are  sooo awesome  for sending  such  Beautiful cards  Thank you  from the bottom of my heart  girls ..  so this brings the  Grand  total of Cards for Operation Glitter Drop to 5,073  Sooo Awesome girls ..
