I thought I would share the Birthday Cards I made for 2 special Christmas babies in our church family The blue one was for our Pastor which his Birthday was Christmas Eve and the pink one was for a friend ( Betty ) whose birthday was On Christmas day. Could you imagine growing up with your birthdays falling on Christmas.
I am sure that many times Christmas and birthdays may have gotten thrown together as one .. I really hope and Pray this never happened But you never know so Thats why I couldn’t send a Christmas / Birthday card to them . I used the BIG BOLD BIRTHDAY stamp set for the cupcake image and the ITS A DATE ( retiring this month )
for the tags on the left hand side .I really love the way they both turned out .. I also used the retired stamp from CUTE CONVERSE for the " and many more " I always sing that at our birthday time together each month with our church family … Lots of doodle dots were added to both cards with my SU! Black marker . Certainly Celery was used for both cards along with Pretty in Pink and then Bashful Blue. I then highlighted the month and the day of their special Birthday with a pencil eraser .
Have a Fabulous day and Thank you so Much for peeking in today ..
Until later … Happy Stampn!!

Dawn you are so very kind and thoughtful. You are so right about Christmas babies getting jipped of a real birthday celeration.
I think these cards are so adorable.
So stinkin’cute Dawn! Love them!Have a fab day!
I bet they appreciated the cards without a Christmas theme even though they share their birthdays with the birth of Christ, kwim?
Those are some darling birthday cards, Dawn!! Sooo cute! Love ’em!!
these cards are so cute:) I’m sure they both appreciated your remembering their special day with a hand-made card! How nice of you:)
BTW, I watched your tutorial but my computer froze up and wouldn’t let me post a comment. I wanted you to know that I think you did a great job on that! 🙂
Dawn…my husband’s birthday is on Christmas Day and we always make sure to have separate TIMES where we celebrate (during dessert) and separate items as gifts. All his packages are wrapped in birthday paper so they aren’t confused with Christmas gifts. It is a pain, however, to come up with enough gift ideas that cover both Christmas and Birthday at the same time!
