Hi Girls : I want to Thank you all for your prayers. Yesterday was really tough and today doesn’t seem any better except that it is one day closer to when he will come home again Praise God for that ! Then to make a sad day even more of a boo hoo day yesterday was the 5th anniversary of my Dad passing .. so needless to say It was a very very tough day yesterday .. I really need to get back in my stampin groove so what better way than to make a sweet simple card right ? I used elegant eggplant with creamy caramel and vanilla Cardstock also with Elegant eggplant GG ribbon I used a retired set from the last mini called Stem Silhouettes ( remember that one ?) I colored the stamp image with elegant eggplant and creamy caramel marker and stamped image twice Once in full color and then again right after the 1st image was stamped . I added a hodge podge buckle with 2 brads that are holding the GG ribbon in place . All in all this was a very easy card to make and alot of fun . OH yea I also used the CANVAS background stamp w/ WARM WORDS stamp set for the Cherish stamp on left side .

I thought I would share some photos of us with my hubby during his time home these past 2 weeks .. What an awesome time we had and It was truely the most wonderful Christmas present Jessie and I recieved this year . Thank you for everything girls ..

Oh my sweet sweet friend. I’m sitting here bawling looking at these pictures and thinking how difficult this all must be for you. I’m so very sorry that you had to say good bye again. I wish I could just get in my car and drive to Michigan and give you the biggest hug ever. You know I’m praying for you and for time to pass by quickly until he’s home for good !!! Thank you for sharing your pics with us. You and Rich are a cute couple and you can just see the love in your beautiful eyes. I love the gbbread house too! Hopefully the time will fly by and Rich will be home in no time. Oh yes, I love your card too! Hugs!
