Dawns Sunday Share 3-29-09

 Happy Sunday  everyone ..

Today  would have been my  Dads 65th Birthday and  today also marks  the Day that My hubby went  to Iraq  2 years ago.

Todays card is one I have been wanting to make  for awhile.  I just think it is  the cuttest thing .Jessie  said it is one of her favorites~ I think that comes  from her  loving  Childern  so much . She is really  so Awesome  with little ones  and she is planning  to persue  Child developement after high school . I used a lot of punches  for my  card which are listed below

 I used the Party Hearty # 111532 stamp set  for the Celebrate You.  This card design I used for todays card came from this video  HERE

I have to share  with you  something that happened  yesterday .. It is  such terrible  thing  that only  a picture  could capture my  sad moment  . Yes I knocked over my  glitter Bowl  and there on the  floor was   so much glitter  BOO HOO!  This is actually  the  1st time this has ever happened to me.  I knew in my heart that it  would happen one day..

But there is  something good  through  this sad moment ~I had resently  purchased 3  jars of dazzling  diamonds  to  dump in  to my  glitter bowl  BUT  I had not  added  the jars  yet WHEW!!  Now that would have been even worse  If I had :)  

 Resently  I had  purchase  new tires  for my  car  and  well this past Friday I took my  car in  to have my  tires  rotated  and low and behold  One of my  factory rims was badly  bent~  Yes  we have HUGE pot holes  here in Michigan so Huge I think  some of them  my  whole  car  could fit in them :)  soo long  story short I got new  rims  for my  car .. Funny  when My hubby called I told him  I got new rims  for my car and all he asked was  if I got  spinners Hee! Hee!  NO !! To funny ~ Here  is my  car with her fancy new  wheels  I can't believe  how much different my  car looks  just from buying new  wheels ~ Go figure :)

For my  Sunday Share  I found Amazing  song  from Miley Cyrus  called The Climb  Big meaning in this song for such a young  girl  Dawns Side note : It is all about  the Journey  But as Miley says in her  song Its  about The  climb. Every mountain has a valley  and its how  we  get through the  valley  is how  sweet the Mountain  really is. Count your blessings Today !

Sorry about the glitter!! UGH! I'd cry. I have a tip for you. Take a few scraps of left over rubber and make feet for your glitter bowl. It really keeps it from sliding around your work table. Try it! It really works. HTH!

OMG!!!!! I want you to know I have been there but you will get over it. At Christmas I spilled my favorite green tinsel glitter. It was a sad day.

I really love the Miley Cyrus video. I have been in a deep valley with health issues for the past couple of years. One thing after another. But as I listened to that song I realized today that I think I may be climbing up the other side.

I totally feel your pain!!

A couple of weeks ago my 11 year old son asked to make his own bday thank you's. I was so happy to hand off a To Do and share some never before shared craft time with him. Well, he accidentally knocked a brand new Turquoise glitter from SU's Supernova superfine glitter set. (a.k.a. not available for individual purchase.)

I was so sad...why couldn't it have been an ugh-o color?!?! Well, probably 'cause SU doesn't make icky colors! Oh well, it was purely an accident and he felt so bad I couldn't be mad.
