October 2009 Thank you Notes video ...

Hi Stampers :

I Still Don't have my voice back  But I went  ahead  and  filmed  todays  video  for you  all .

 Many have  already recieved your  October Thank you note/s from me and you  are probably  wondering HOW in the world  did I do that HUH?  so Here is How I  made them .

 I used the Autumn Splendor Stamp set # 116503 and the Grateful Greetings  stamp set #116511 along with  OH  so Fabulous  Shimmer Paint  called Champagne Mist #116806 all these  items are in the Holiday Mini .

I just love love love the shimmer paint  and there are  seriously  so many  ways  to use it BUT   the way I use it  today in my video  on my Thank you notes is MY all time favorite.

You may remember doing this technique with Pearl Ex ( which SU! use to sell years ago ) But  Shimmer Paint Totally Rocks !

Makes all your  cardstock shimmer  & sparkle  with just a couple squirts :) 

Big Thanks goes to Glenda My new found  friend  from Founders circle  for reminding us  about this  technique from the past  ..

I love it when old things are all NEW again.. Don't YOU ?   It's sooo awesome !

Dawn, so glad for the video, but your poor voice! I miss the videos but take care of yourself First! Maybe we should have silent videos, like silent movies! You are such a talented lady, and a blessing to us all.

What a neat way to use the shimmer paint & a great look for a card.
Dawn you did a great job on the video but you should really rest your voice. I know it has been 17 days but rest up girlie as we want to hear your sparkly voice in full.

Hi Dawn, I have a question, you said that you can do the same thing with pearl-x powder. Do I still use it with alachol, or do I use water.

SO SORRY about your voice; but VERY glad you made the video! That is a great technique, and I would NOT have thought of doing it! Your cards are beautiful, and I must try using the paint in the spray bottle like you did. Sure do hope you get your voice back soon...that must be extremely frustrating!
