Eureka!!! Thank you so much for sharing this!

Hi Dawn! I have enoyed your blog for quite a while but hadn't been back lately however I couldn't quite remember how to do the "negative frame" trick with the embossing folders and after having messed up a few attempts I realized that if I just came back to visit your blog I was sure I could find the answer. How timely (and lucky for me!) that you had reviewed the tutorial so recently!

The cardinal looks just great inside that frame, too! I'll have to try that one next. Thanks for all the sharing you do via your blog, it's very much appreciated! And BTW, I didn't stay for all of the Awards Night ceremonies at convention last August but I stayed long enough to hear your name called...congrats! Jan Hoyt

Lois

This is such a clever way to do this! Thanks for sharing!

Dawn, fantastic video!! I have the wood frames, thin wood, with the shapes cut out. Could I do the same thing, but use no tabs to account for the thickness of the wooden frame?

Love your blog Dawn! Thanks for being here for us.

Thank you!! I love the un-embossed shape, but I just could not cut my embossing folder . This a perfect solution

I love your tutorials TFS
Barbara

Thank you soooo much, Dawn, for sharing that tip. I've been trying to figure out how to do that without actually cutting my embossing folder for the longest time, and lo and behold, there's your video!
