Hi Stampers : Happy Sunday Friends !

HOLY  MOLY  today's post  is a doozie  re: my thought  process   when  Veronica  was designing my new blog design  . I promise there may be  a few things below  that  you may have never knew  that was on my blog  and plus so many  brand new  things,  so todays post is  gonna  be  super long  BUT my hope is  that  you  will learn something new about me  and my new  blog design  today ~ ENJOY!

Oh my  goodness   I think the best part of last week was  getting my new blog design up and  running .. SOOOO Exciting . and  what's  even better  is  that  you  all love  it  as much as I do .. Thank you  all so much  for  your sweet comments  on  the new look  and BIG hugs  go out  to Veronica  for  all her fabulous  work  she is  doing  for me  so Stay tuned  for  all my other blogs and so much more will get the new design…

All my other blogs will have the same  colors / and  the same  cute  girl BUT  slight  changes  will be added  to let  you know exactly  where  you are at .. so hopefully  you will not be confused .I want  to make  thing much easier  NOT more confusing.

 My whole thought  with my new design is that I wanted it to be  sooo easy  to locate items  and have it  organized  so that  it  doesn't look messy  and to busy .

Many  new buttons  were created  to help  clear up the side  bars.  One big thing  I am excited about is that  the 2 brand new buttons  that  were added ( Current SU! Catalogs & SU! Specials ) will  be only 1 click away  to view all the  Catalogs / Mini's / Definitely Decorative  and specials  in one location on my SU! web site . 

So this clears  up  alot of the photos  of these  items  on my blog like in the past  and keeps my  blog  nice and   fresh looking  without all the  clutter . . Plus  when you  click on my blog  to visit  your upload  time  should be much quicker , Since all those photos / links   are added to just 1 cute button . Quicker  loading   for you  when visiting is always a Good thing.

 Once you  click on the catalogs  button  the all the catalogs   will be right there  for you.  Links to the  supply lists of projects  that use  to be located  in the back of the catalog a couple years ago will be there  as well as the mini catalog supply list ..

One thing that caught me off guard was  how many of  you  noticed the (stars) that  I  thought looked like Dazzling Diamonds  and I am soo Happy  that  you  totally  got what Veronica  was softly adding  in the background  to  actully represent  :)   Cause  we all know I  Love Dazzling Diamonds 🙂

My Thoughts on  my cute  girl on my  banner that I was  aiming  for  was that she had  to be in  "Thought"  cause  my blog is called Dawns Stamping Thoughts   Plus  with her  eyes  looking  up  plays into  the "thinking" process  as well as  looking upward  towards God !  I just love her . PLUS Veronica  mentioned  that  she  seems  a little spunky  too  and I love Veronica's  description of her , Since I have been called that a couple times over  my lifetime Hee! Hee!  

 Then it  brings  me to the  shade of Purple  we used  for my  design .  I sooo  love the Pale  plum and Perfect plum  .. so in  some crazy way since we will be losing these  to fabulous colors in July 2010  they will  still be alive and well on my blog Hee! Hee! I   Wanted my  blog to be soft and  appealing  but not  overwhelming to all of you that visit me each day  .

One other  button  that I love is Dawn's favorites  remember  when I had  ALL my  favorite  Christian video links  and  my Favorite Michael W Smith video links  Plus   the  other links like  my Smilies and  Jessie's Funny  videos  are ALL in  one category  with this Button called Dawns Favorites. Boy  that cleared  up  soooo much  on my  side bar ..

I also love the Hi Stampers  corner tag Veronica made me. It really is such a small detail  and funny how so many of  you noticed  that right off the bat. So sweet !

1 Quick  reminder when there is a photo posted on my blog post   remember you  can ALWAYS click  to enlarge  your viewing  I  know I mention  that often But  sometimes  I think it's a good reminder  just  in case I post  smaller images .

I also had  Veronica make  me a  Badge  for all you  that also  blog  and  would like to add this cute badge  to your  web site / blog . The code is located  right under  the  cute badge  on the left hand side . just copy  and paste  that  code  to add to your side bar as a quick link .  Thank you in Advance  if  you  wish to do that ..

Then  one  other BIG change  for me  is the basic Look of my blog .. I have ALWAYS been a BIG fan of  the 2 panels mainly  because  I always  thought it looks  to busy and messy with 3, BUT  Veronica  converted me  to 3 panels  because she  actually was able  to  enlarge  my  blog  template  adding the side bar dividers  to keep the  center  focused  on the project I share  with you  each day !

I must say I love  the 3 panels  it seems  to balance  the whole look  I was aiming  for  Plus  it  gives me more room  to organize  everything  alittle better .

One thing  that I also love that was carried over to my new  design is the Goggle search box  this is a tool I use most often  for searching  for past items  that I posted on my  blog . 

I highly  recommend  using this goggle search box  when you  are  looking  for something ..

Sometimes just a key word  or name or  a project  will be easily located for you  when using this search box which is also located on the left hand side of my blog .. 

Please try it out . Hopefully it  will become one of  your favorite  thngs  you  use here on my  blog .. The  nice thing  about this box  is that  you  can just search my blog  and or  the world wide web  which is nice as well . Just click the small box  you  wish  to use  when searching .

The quick links  right below my  blog banner  will remain there  and will be updated  as  new things are announced.

Please click  on all my  buttons  to see what each one has  for you .. and if  you  find one that doesn't  link you  correctly PLEASE let me know  so I can fix  that ASAP!

Dawns Side Note :

I also wanted to let you know I will be sending out a newsletter right before I leave  on the SU! cruise. For  those that already subscribe to my monthly newsletter  ~ I  send 1 monthly newsletter out  to you usually  at  the 1st of the month . I usually ONLY send 1 Newsletter each month  Because  I feel if you  visit me on my  blog  you get alot of the new info on specials  & etc.. here on my blog   already.

PLUS  I don't  want to clutter  your  email box  up with tons of newsletters  every  week/ month so  I keep my newsletters to 1 per month.

 PLUS  I write my own  newsletter  each month Because I enjoy designing & writing my  monthly newsletter  for you  and hope  you enjoy  reading it as well .

I do want  you to know though that I will  have a extra newsletter that will be going out later this week right before I leave  on the cruise .

 I know  this seems  petty BUT I would  appreciate it that if  you  are  a SU! demonstrator that  you  try and not  subscribe  to my newsletter  since my  newsletter is focused  on things  for my business   and since I pay  for this service  through Constant Contact per subscriber   it seems only  fair  that this newsletter remain  for my customers  to receive . Thank you  for understanding 🙂

Here is my Sunday Share  video for you .

 Hopefully  you  know the  story of the "Woman at the Well" in the Bible  located  in John 4:1-42 if so  this video will make  you  think  of what it may have been like for her  that day she Met Jesus that day at the well (Before , During and After ) . 

As  the video plays  keep in mind how you felt  before knowing Jesus , & the day You met Jesus. How amazing and life changing that was and can be !
