Love 'em! Fried pickle chips are a staple where I live!

I agree Dawn, the fried pickles were to die for. Who would have thought? Nice seeing you :)

Tee Hee...yes, Fried Pickles are definitely a Southern thing...they're fab. You & your hubs look so cute together in your pics from Leadership...love that he swapped too! Hee!

Too cool!!! So glad your hubby is home and able to go with you!!!!

I love fried pickles! YUM. I haven't had them in a very long time. Love the card, too! I'd love to see some V-day home decor decorations in the future if you are able to do that. After Christmas, my house goes from festive to boring. :(

You are a lucky girl. You get your husband back home from Iraq, the basement gets redone, and he goes with you to a Stampin Up function! Wow - you are very blessed indeed.

How wonderful to share that with your husband, and visit family too!! I know you must have had the bestest best time ever! Yummy for pickle chips!!!!

FRIED PICKLE CHIPS

3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. buttermilk
1 qt. hamburger dill chips
Vegetable oil

Combine flour, salt, and pepper, mixing well. Dip pickles into buttermilk and dredge in flour mixture. Deep fry coated pickles in hot oil (350 degrees) until they float to surface and are golden brown. Drain on paper towels or brown paper bags and serve immediately. Makes 8 dozen.

Hi Dawn,
I'm glad you finally got Fried Pickle chips....lol...Thanks for sharing the pictures

Love fried dill pickles...chips or spears. They are very common in TN (I'm about 2.5 hrs. west of Nashville).

I'm glad you enjoyed them!

so good that your hubby could go with you and enjoy the time....as for the fried pickles...if you have a Hooters in your area they serve them...we had them there 1st and now we make them at home....LOVE them...Jan

Funny you should mention Fried pickles. My sister and family visited my husband and I while we were in Nashville too. My Niece who is 16 wanted the fried pickles from the Wild Horse Saloon, so we had a late lunch there on Sunday. Man oh man, were these good. Never had them before, but oh so good.
