Happy Sunday Friends !
This past Wednesday we put our beloved Bowzer down. He was such a great dog and we miss him so very much .
He was 13 years old and was going blind & deaf and had lots of tumors all over his body and just resently one large tumor above his right eye .

Bowzer's back legs were hurting him so much that he was falling and just resently he stopped eating. I can't express how much he is missed.
Here is my Sunday Share video for you today . One of my ALL time favorite Christmas songs by Celine Dion .
Have a Wonderful Sunday friends .
I will see you all again tomorrow .
Until later… Happy Stampin!

I really feel for you Dawn having to put your beloved pet down. Our dog is 13 now too and is not seeing well nor hearing well and has hind quarter issues also. 🙁 We have lost one pet in the past and I know how terribly painful that is. Blessings to you Dawn.
So sorry for your loss. Dogs give us SO much love.
So very sorry for your loss, Dawn.
So sorry to hear about Bowzer. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Have lost some of my treasured pets over the years, I understand what a loss it is. It is amazing how much love and joy one little animal can bring to a household. At least you have the comfort of knowing he is in a better, pain-free place. I believe all dogs do go to heaven.
No one can imagine how much a pet becomes a part of your family unless they’ve been there, done that. Thanx for sharing – both your story and fav Christmas song – and here’s wishing you any your family a blessed holiday!
So sorry for the loss of your faithful 4-footed family member. I am sure he added so much to your lives. They depend upon our help for them to cross that Rainbow Bridge.
Oh Dawn so sorry about Bowser – it is so hard watching them get old and having to make that final decision – remember he is waiting for you on “rainbow bridge” http://rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm
Great picture of Bowser and the one with Jessie is so precious
You are in my thoughts and prayers………it does get easier and the memories will always be with you

So sorry Dawn. 🙁 It’s so difficult to watch our fur babies suffer. I cannot imagine how hard it was to say goodbye. {hugs}
Dawn,
I am so sorry to hear about your dear sweet Bowzer. He looks like a gentle, loving sweetie. Your family and Bowzer were lucky to have each other for 13 years! I know how your heart is aching ~ we’ve gone through that many times.
Dogs truly do leave paw prints on our hearts !!

Oh, Dawn! I am so sorry to hear about your Bowzer. It is always so hard to let them go even when you know it’s the right thing to do. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
So sorry for your loss of you beloved Bowzer. They become such a special part of our families. I too, lost my best friend, after finding she had cancer and was too old for treatments. Time does ease the pain. You are in my thoughts.
I am so sorry to hear about your wonderful dog. It it helps to know we know what you are going through. And we are getting ready to have to put our Shelby down. So I am lifting your family up in prayes.
So sorry about Bowzer. The loss of a pet is so difficult, partly because there are people who don’t understand. I’m not one of them, having lost a beloved old cat and a young grand-pup (who lived next door.) Take the time to grieve.
O Holy Night is one of my faves too.
Sorry to hear about your dear dog. We had two beautiful black lab/golden retreiver mix doggies we had to put down. One to liver cancer and the other to old age (he too was having trouble walking). I think your Bowzer is running and playing with Tiny & Scottie now.
Hugs sent to with the loss of your dog.
Oh hugs to you, Dawn!!!! I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. I know you provided such a warm and loving home – Bowzer was one lucky doggie!!! Healing heart thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
I’ve very sorry to hear of the loss of your dog. Thinking of you and your family.
aawww Dawn & family! I’m so sorry for your loss!! My heart and prayers go out to you! You gave him a wonderful long life and just remember all dogs go to heaven! 🙂
So sorry to hear of the loss of your pup. Animals are such loyal and essential members of our families. With a dog in your home you know you are loved.
I am so sorry to hear about your beloved Bowzer. I know how much our pets mean to us. But it is harder to see them in such pain. Thank you for your Sunday shares I so look forward to them each week. Merry Christmas!
So very sorry to hear about Bowzer…it’s amazing how much they become a part of our families, isn’t it? I just finished a really neat book called “Heaven is for Real”…if you haven’t read it, check it out and you will love one of the statements the little boy makes about dogs and Heaven (it’s towards the end of the book. 🙂
Dawn, So sorry about your beloved Bowzer. I know it is a heart breaking thing to have to do but you know when it is time to say goodby to one of your best friends. I know we had a chocolate lab 13 years old and he had hip problems. It got to the point he couldn’t get up any longer and we had to do the same thing. We miss him but you know you are doing the most loving thing by not letting them suffer any longer.
Love all your post and keep up the good work.
Denise
My sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your beloved Bowzer. May he rest in peace.
So sorry about your dog, Dawn 🙁 We have 2 of our own & our Lucy is 13 – I feel your pain.

Your family is in my thoughts. I am very sad for you.
Merry Christmas Dawn! That is such a sweet picture of Bowser.I am so sorry for your loss.
I am so very sorry to hear about your little guy. He looks like a chocolate lab? We have a chocolate lab and recently he started to lose a lot of weight. I could see all of his ribs and he just looked terrible. It turned out to be a food reaction and luckily with a switch to a different food he has started to look better and gain a little weight. But he did give us quite a scare so I can almost imagine your pain. Try to remember all of those 13 wonderful years you had with him and it will help to heal your heart:-) Best wishes.
I am so sorry to hear the sad news about your dog.
I know you will miss him very much. I have a little choodle named Lucy. She is like part of the family!
Just remember…he is now in doggie Heaven …feeling great and chasing squirrels!
This reply may overuse the word beautiful, but here goes. That is a great picture of your beautiful daughter and your beloved dog, Bowzer. And what a beautiful song out of such a beautiful lady. I could listen to her sing all day long. One of my favorite song is of her and the Canadian Tenors, and the surprise the young men got when Oprah had arranged for her to come out to sing with them. Their doubletakes were priceless.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Katie
I so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved pet. I know how hard that is and that you will miss him. Thanks for sharing. He looked like a super sweet dog.
He was a beautiful dog! I know you will hold him in your heart forever.
Oh, I’m so very sorry to hear about your precious dog. I had my first and only dog, a Schnauzer named Penny, for 13 years as well. I’ve never gotten another one after she was gone. They’re such an intricate part in our lives, aren’t they.
Hugs!
So very, very sorry.
I am sorry to hear about your dog, I know how you feel, our family just went thru the same thing back in June and she was 14 years old. That was one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do.

Dawn, I’m so sorry about Bowzer. We’ve been in the same position too many times ourselves. It IS like losing a family member…and I can say this after losing 2 brothers. It takes time to heal, so give yourself the time to do it…
PS, O Holy Night is my just about my favorite piece of music period, not just Christmas music. It’s so beautiful…
Hugs,
Betsy Z.
Dear Dawn and Family
I’m so sad to hear about Bowzer. Your very dear friend and companion. Folks who don’t have pets just don’t realize what they mean to us..They become part of us and the family. The house and floor area will be so empty without him.
We have our dog Benny who is going on 13 and is slowly going downhill. I know you know what this means for him and us. I dread this because we have been through it twice before..It is a loss of a beloved friend..our animal baby.
I just know how you all feel and I can only say that time will heal this loss so it will be more bearable. We will all be together again and that’s a comfort …
So very sorry for your loss but I just know he had a great life with all of you.

Dawn and Family,
So sorry to read this morning about your beloved pooch. My guy is 12 and riddled with fatty tumours and his back legs don’t work like they should. Some day we will have to make a decision. God bless you at the difficult time.
Gail from Jax, Fl.
Oh Dawn so sorry for your loss of Bowzer. It is hard when they are gone. I will be praying for you and your family. I enjoyed seeing him on your blog. He looked like a sweet dog.
My heart is broken for you, Dawn. Only those who love and share their lives and hearts with their pets, understand the pain when we have to say goodbye to our fur children. You are in my thoughts.
So sorry to hear about Bowzer. My heart goes out to you and your family for the loss of your Furbaby.

I’m so sorry about Bowzer. It is difficult to let them cross the Rainbow Bridge, but sometimes when they are suffering that is the best for them. I know that you and your family will miss him. Blessings and {{Hugs}} to you and your family.
So sorry to hear about Bowzer:( Dogs are amazing…Unconditional love. I too lost a GSP about 3 years ago to cancer and had no choice but to put her down. Dotti was about 9 years old.
She was my best friend…
God Bless
Angela
The Loss of any member of the family is terrible, but a pet to me is the worse. They depend on you and love you unconditionally. I’m also a puppy lover, I have had to do the same as ya’ll many times, my heart goes out to you. Always remember the good times and get yourself another puppy soon. It really does fill the void.
So sorry to hear about Bowzer. I always loved seeing his pictures as he looked a lot like my beloved Max. It is so sad to lose a precious family member like Bowzer.
AW Dawn, I am so very sorry about you losing your sweet dog. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
